Bought a men’s wedding ring from Hamilton Place store in Chattanooga, Tn and received notification that the ring had came in. So we took off to pick ring up. When we arrived to pick ring up. They had lost the ring. The ceremony is in a week. The sales person couldn’t find out anything or what they were going to do to fix this. This was gonna take a few days. When I called her on Monday to find out about status. Mind you they had been open for over one hour and half. It was like no big deal they found the ring somewhere else but would have to mail it to me. I was furious and canceled the deal. Still like no big deal with her.Moral of the story is Don’t go here for a wedding ring and or customer service because they really could care a less.I want shop there again
I want to start this by saying WILL IS AMAZING! We went into Kay’s not expecting to purchase anything or even imagine finding the engagement ring I was hoping for, and within minutes of talking with will, not only did he tell me my ring size (which I had no idea what it was and before we even sized my finger), but as I was describing the type of ring I liked, he walked us over to the counter, pulled out a ring and that was that!!!! We bought both a wedding band and an engagement band that we had a special diamond put on. I encourage everyone to ask for WILL if your going to Kay’s, he works out of the Cleveland shop as well! Unfortunately a couple months after receiving my engagement ring (took several weeks for it to come back due to resizing and adding my diamond) a small diamond had fallen off. We took it back to Kay’s, and were told it would take up to 4 weeks to get the stone put back on, will happened to be there that day, stopped what he was doing, came over took a look, and short story later he is getting it done in half the time. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase and Our experience thanks to will!!! Had will not been there that day we probably would have kept on browsing to other stores. Also they did the WHOLE TIME while we were there keep to the CDC guidelines of wearing masks. Unfortunately to those of you who expect them to stand 6ft back while trying to show you merchandise, well that’s not going to happen at any store. Main thing is, Will is the best person to see for any of your jewelry needs and EVERY KISS BEINGS WITH K! Wish I could leave a photo!
I came into the store with a watch/bracelet set in mind that they didn’t have, but Rita made me feel good with my alternative selection that was a little more pricey. No regrets, I love it!
The ladies treated me well. All except the store manager. I purchased a ring and when checking out I was asked if I would be okay with them giving me a discount and “purchasing” donation bears. I was told it would be of no cost to me. When I returned the ring all my money was not returned because of this donation, which I was told would not effect me. All she had to say to me was “oh yeah sorry” didn’t offer to help or anything.
The ladies there didnt stop trying until I found the perfect ring!
I have shopped with Kay for many years and in several different locations. This is by far the worst location that I have been to. I had the worst experience at the Hamilton Place location and not to mention that when they make a mistake no one tries to go out of their way to fix it. If youre in the Chattanooga area dont go to the Hamilton Place location.
Store is not enforcing or even encouraging social distancing. My fiancé and I came in wearing masks as soon as they opened to buy a wedding band, and the store allowed a group of six young men not wearing masks to crowd into a small corner with us.This store is small and should have occupancy limits in place to protect both customers and employees. Other stores in the mall have them, so why can’t this one? In addition to the entire group that crowded us in a corner, customers kept coming in during the brief time we were in the store and it quickly became crowded. Again, no social distancing was being enforced.Additionally, an employee behind the counter took her face covering off in front of us and began chatting to the masked associate was kindly helping us.Lastly, the hours listed online from multiple sources are not correct which caused us to have to find a creative way to burn an hour and a half while we waited on the store to open. Correct store hours are only posted on a handwritten sign hung outside the store itself.Had we not known what band we were buying before we went in, there would not have been a sale that day. We were so uncomfortable there almost wasn’t anyways. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Very disappointed. I have always loved Kay since they honored a 60 year old warranty on my grandmother’s engagement ring.
HORRIBLE experience. It is possible the girl helping me at first was new but she was atleast trying to be polite. I asked to speak to a manager because I felt she was not able to help me. The manager made me feel so uncomfortable. She came with an attitude right off the bat as if i were a customer trying to give her a complaint, which I was not. She rolled her eyes and cut me off. I ended up leaving the store without purchasing anything because I felt I was a “bother”.
Amazing experience. The store staff is super friendly and accepting. We shopped at multiple stores and the customer service and dedication just could not be matched by other retailers. Both the store manager and store associates helped us look at different styles until we found the perfect set. We will definitely shop here again in the near future for other jewelry and will always recommend.

She is a people person and she really cares about helping me make the best possible selection at the best price.Last week she went above and beyond helping me surprise my wife with a new wedding ring. We completely tricked her and it would not have been possible without Kendra.She kept sending me pics and texts to keep the ruse going, notified me of your one-day sale, got everything sized and repaired so I could give her the ring on the same day. AMAZING!My wife has been crying off and on since she got the ring and that means the world to me. As long as Kendra is there I wont shop anywhere else.At Benchmark customer service and exceeding expectations is what we teach and practice every day but it is rare to find. Kendra represents Kays in a very positive light.
I spent a great deal of time in this store trying to pick out a bracelet for my wife. The sales girl compared every bracelet to the only one that was marked as on sale for $199. I finally decided to go with the bracelet. I even had her pick out the matching earrings. I handed her my credit card and after several minutes she said... Houston we have a problem. She then went straight to the phone to call her manager. She came back to me and said, That bracelet is actually not $199, its no longer on sale. The price is $695, but my manager approved a 20% discount. I explained this 20% discount was already posted all over the store and the item was CLEARLY marked as on sale. I asked her when it went off sale. She told me, We arent sure but theres nothing more I can do about it. So I told her I wasnt interested in anything they had to sell and I left very unhappy. This is what is called a BAIT-AND-SWITCH sales tactic. I would not expect that from a large chain like Kay Jewelers. Perhaps the manager of this store should do a daily store walk to make sure items marked in bold and bright red as being on sale are truly on sale before wasting someones time, building up false hopes and losing a customer for life. I suggest you be very careful when choosing to shop here.

The Chattanooga store and staff have been amazing for my fiance and I. Kendra is always super responsive and helpful across the board in helping meet my unique and different needs. The rest of the staff is top notch, always helpful and timely. They even entertain and play well with my Granddaughter. Thank you all so much.

Make sure to as for Will! I have had a bad experience with a different Kays location in the past and I was hesitant, but wife wanted a specific ring. William being the gentleman and scholar he is change my opinion of the company, at least this store in the Hamilton Place mall.

Purchased a watch. Salesperson claimed I needed links removed, I didnt request this her personal opinion. The watch is extremely hard to open while wearing it. Went to return it on day 2 and salesperson would only exchange stating the watch had been alerted. Yes by her not by me or at my request! Then I had to almost make a scene to get the links she removed put back in the watch. I could understand if I had removed them myself or had it done by outside source but she did the work herself there in the store. And the watch was not worn more than 5hours. NEVER DOING BUSINESS AT KAYS AGAIN.

When we picked our engagement and wedding rings they were wonderful. When we went back to pick them up, the girl Acted like she could care less.
Do NOT buy jewelry here. We bought and paid for the warranty for my ring and it lost a diamond for the SECOND time in two years and they informed me I had not been keeping up with my inspections so they would have to charge me... I had not missed one inspection and did as instructed from day one.
Terrible. Theyll rape you of your money. Their warranties are rigged and they wont help you with any of your inconveniences at their own expense. Everything that goes wrong is automatically your fault and the employees dont do their jobs with keeping you informed of everything your expected to do so that the warranty actually does what its supposed to... Keep you covered. NEVER using Kays for anything. I prefer Zales now. Thanks.
Most pitiful customer service Ive ever dealt with !! No return calls on services and repairs, seldom answer store phone. Repairs not done in a timely manner. As a long term customer, never again !!! Would not recommend this retailer !!!!!!!!
I would never have made it thru the purchase of my wedding ring if not for Kendra.Due to mishaps at another store, sizing issues and incompetent sales staff, my ring had to be returned and re purchased 4 times. Kendra was a life saver!! She was on the phone constantly, doing everything she could to rectify the situation.She always had a smile on her face and would not give up until my ring was the perfect fit!! To the extent of my fiance and I having her personal number to contact her. How many sales people, especially managers, would do that??From re orders, to re sizings, to special orders, she was there doing it all!! Knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. We will continue to purchase from Kays as long as Kendra is there to assist us with our purchases!!!
I have lifetime batteries in two different watches but I could only replace One battery because they could not get the back off of one of my watches. by the time I arrived at home the battery stopped working. So Im back to both watches not working.

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received . The woman was rude and would ignore me and go help another customer when there was plenty of other people that could help . She told me to just come another day because they were “too busy” to help me . All I needed was to have my necklace cleaned . The woman REFUSED to give me her name and when I called back later to talk to a manager about my experience, the manager told me she did nothing wrong!!!! I will never return to this place and I am going to spread the word about my experience. The place is awful !!! NEVER COME HERE !!!!!
I had a very good experience at Kays i recently moved to Tennessee . Shelly and Jalani on May 29th 2018 did my inspection was very nice prong needed to be fixed went. In .On june 13 2018 spoke .With manager Kendra and Jalani decided to sauter rings together had excellent service i would highly recommend this Kay jewelers Looking forward to picking up my wedding set.Thanks Cindy Pate

We decided to return my ring and wait to get it because it wasnt really what I wanted. When we returned it the manager jerked the bag out of my husbands hands and slammed the pen on the glass countertop. She was extremely rude and I will never go back there while she is still the manger. Her customer service sucks!
