Emily is amazing! How is she amazing? Well, first off she is incredibly personable and someone I just want to go get coffee with. Secondly, she knows her booze. And idk about you, but if Im needing someone to help me with ordering wedding alcohol, I want my contact to know the product. Emily was laser focused on remaining within our budget while also managing to not sacrifice quality. We also ended up changing our order several times (I really should have had Dad on the initial call) but Emily took it all within stride and was the most communicative and efficient vendor of everyone we hired. And if youve ever been involved on a wedding, then you know there are a *lot* of vendors.We were recommended to utilize Emilys service by our event coordinator, but I was thrilled to learn that she provides this time of menu service for all types of other events. The quantities she suggested were spot on. We wanted to provide a smaller amount of liquor, expecting it to run out, and then be left with beer and wine. Additionally, we did order a little extra on the beer and wine figuring whatever was left over we would just take home. Out of a very large order, all that was left were 6 bottles of prosecco, 6 bottles of wine, and about 2 cases of beer. This store has one of the best selections of craft and domestic beer, fine wine, and liquor in town. The prices are competitive but not discount. They have occasional free wine tastings and also event planning capability. It is in a convenient location downtown with a large, newly paved, parking area. Growlers of a variety of craft beers are available weekly. Riverside Wine & Spirits has won the local Best of the Best Award in their category over 10 years in a row.

In my opinion, this is the best place to stock up on craft beer in Chattanooga. Amazing selection, great prices, and friendly staff.They also have a pretty large liquor and wine selection. There is always some pretty interesting and different whiskeys to choose from if thats your thing.This is my go to stop for craft beer when I hit up Chattanooga. Great place.

This is my first visit to Chattanooga so I was looking for an interesting bourbon that’s not common back home in Canada. I was lucky to pick Riverside Wine & Spirts to do my search. What an amazing store! The whiskey selection was fantastic. I decided on something local Chattanooga 111. I was assured by one of the employees that I made a good choice.Great store with amazing staff. I can see why all the good reviews. Definitely a must stop during a visit. If I’m ever back in town I will make your store my first stop!

They have a nice selection of bourbon, with a handful of excellent store picks you may sample.

We ordered a keg through this store for our wedding reception. Even though there was an issue with the distributor, Brandon did an amazing job making sure we were taken care of. That’s how you keep customers, folks. We’ll be back for sure.

Staff is always helpful. They are so knowledgeable about wine. Even though their location is a bit far from where I live its worth going there for the personalized service. If youre on a budget they will help you find the best for your price range.

Great selection of TN and NC beers among others. There was a very knowledgeable customer service person there to help me pick up some good beers to take home to Ohio. Only downside is they arent open Sundays and I did not make it to a couple of the breweries I opted not to get beer from there.

Without question, Emily was THE BEST VENDOR I dealt with while planning my wedding. She was responsive, (realized I had NO clue about buying wine or beer), answered my questions and then sent my proposal in less than 5 minutes. When I emailed her on a Friday night for a specific bottle of wine, she messaged me back in 20 minutes and added it to my order. ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. ALL of our guests commented on the wine and beer. When my husband went to pick up our selection, he was greeted and helped loading the car.And Emily, that bottle of wine for us was perfection. Would highly recommend Riverside over and over again. Such a great vendor to work with!

Emily at Riverside is THE BOMB! They have a service where you give them an idea of what your event looks like and they give you a mixed package within your budget. We used Riverside for our daughter’s wedding and it was perfect! We ran out of nothing, only had a bit left over and everyone was super happy with the wine/beer selections. I will never plan another event without calling Emily at Riverside!

Great selection of liquor and beer. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The store is very clean and the staff are wiping down carts and door handles and whatever someone touches. They have curbside pickup and you can order online and its user friendly. I also love the location since its next to the exit off of I-27. I come here whenever I need to stock up and they make it easy and safe for me.

Riverside is easy to get to, has a fantastic selection, and a generally knowledgeable staff. They probably deserve 3.5 stars. My issue: for years, the staff has been hit or miss.During Co-Vid, I called to order some cider, beer, and a case of wine. I had hoped to order on the phone and they could just drop everything in the trunk of my car (as every single other business of any kind in Chattanooga has graciously done for the past six weeks). I was told they only do large orders over the phone, and I would need to speak with one of the parking lot attendants. I explained that I am not comfortable rolling down my window and talking to anyone and asked if there was anyway to order on the phone. I was told again, only large orders on the phone, and I would need to talk to someone in the parking lot.Some days they are as helpful as can be, other days you get someone who appears upset that you are purchasing from them. This isnt a one time thing; Ive been shopping here for over a decade. My most recent experience just finally tipped the scale.Now I drive past Riverside and head to another store ten minutes out of my way. I really do like Riverside; I just dont get the attitude.

RWS has been so responsive and responsible during COVID 19. I have moved to them exclusively because of this fact.It is so easy to order what you need online and pick it up curbside. My order is normally ready in hours and they are also willing to place special orders.Though I must also say that at one point they did not have a pinot grigio I was looking for and I asked for a suggestion - it was amazing! My new go to.They know their profiles and can make great suggetions!

Honestly, every time I go they go the extra mile to help or make the experience amazing, but this last time, they didn’t carry this weird specific item I was looking for, so what do they do? They straight up called the store nearby to ask if they were carrying something they were out of— who does that?? They really do try harder than everywhere else, the environment and selection is amazing, and they’re stupidly helpful, knowledgeable, kind! I will never go anywhere else, thank you guys for everything you do.

Riverside is a fantastic store, you can find alot of rare and hard to find whiskeys here. They have some great rare scotch, and some awesome selections for different bourbons and rye. Theyre even one of the few stores that seem to stock Indian whiskey, and a decent selection of Japanese whiskeys. Although, some of there prices are fairly steep for certain bottles, but very good on other bottles. If youre looking for more hard to find spirits this is one of my usual first stops.

We visit this store mainly for beer, occasionally wines. We started getting growlers here and are very happy with them! Theyre really good about letting you sample what youre interested in so that we are totally sure were going to enjoy the whole thing! Reps for some of their brands are present on occasion and will also let you try a variety of their products. Weve never had to wait for service either. Very pleased to use this store for our main beer supplier!

Very organized store. I was looking for a specific brand, and was having difficulty finding it. An employee offered her assistance and guided me directly to its location. Unfortunately, they didnt have the flavor i was looking for in that brand (its a rare brand and flavor), but they had it in another brand and it was delicious and a lot cheaper!

Message says they open at 10 AM ... I went at 10:20 AM and while the staff were in there and came to the door, they wouldn’t help me and were unfortunately unnecessarily rude. Closed is one thing but rude is another!

Visited at noon on the 8th and the fellow working was super helpful and knowledgeable. Helped me pick out some local whiskey made right in Chattanooga and knew a lot of history of the area. Decent prices and selection.

Superior service with no snobby attitude.

Very poor service. We use to come in there all the time and we would purchase at least one thing every time we came. Today we came in and a guy was really rude to us. He told us that he was doing a tasting for whiskey but he kept turning away from us when we would face him and talk to they other employee. We asked if we could taste and he said it was going on later. Then when we got back from tasting wine he snubbed us and told us he wasnt. When we were at the table I asked how I could get a Cabernet from going bad after three days and the guy was a smart aleck and told me that I needed to drink it faster. Having to drink a wine in three days for a small person is not healthy. And why do that when I can go somewhere else and have a Cabernet that will last longer?We had a couple bottles in hand to purchase but I think we will purchase them at Imbibe instead. I hope they are nicer next time, otherwise we can spend our money elsewhere.

Way over priced...

They have one of the largest selections of liquor and beer in the area. They have just about anything you would want and several thing that I have never seen anywhere else. Their prices arent bad either considering they are downtown. Stop by and see for yourself.
