Great brewery in the city. Lovely patio perfect for hanging. We brought our dogs on the patio and had a good afternoon. Yummy beers!

Love the atmosphere here on the patio! They are dog friendly and have an awesome selection of beer. They also have a small selection of snacks, we tried the baked Brie which came with some bread and sliced apples and it was great. The staff are very friendly and they have reasonable prices as well, we will be back!

July 2020: Gotta love a brewery with sour ale on tap! (For sour lovers, that is).Enter through patio in the back. Limited seating- perhaps due to Covid? About 8 tables inside, 5-6 two-tips outdoors.Very cool to be able to see the brewery itself from the bar. Friendly service. Mellow music, not too loud. Great light with floor to ceiling windows.

We made a quick stop passing through town and stopped for a visit. Not only did they have solid suds but an amazing outdoor area to enjoy said suds. Although not their fault the city has got to do something about that smell from the chicken plant. At times there was a overwhelming aroma. Chattanooga really showing it’s old industrial colors with that stink.

My short craft beer tour of Chattanooga. Came for the Soursop Sunset... Keg was tapped. Had to settle for the Sunset Hops. Both are milkshake style IPAs. Man I wish I could have had both. The one I tried was one of the best of this style of beers made. Sixpoints Smoothie but better. So good. Bartender was as friendly as could be. Cant wait to move here!

From day one, this is easily the most legitimate brewery in the Chattanooga area and stands poised to become one of the best breweries in Tennessee. Their attention to quality is remarkable. They care about what theyre doing, and they want you to love your experience with it as much as they do. They have 16 taps, with a mix of staples and small-batch beers. Small-batch are on-site only, but you can grab a 32oz crowler of the big-batch ones to go. They also have delicious options of small food plates (definitely try the smoked trout), and the brewery is within walking distance of many great full-service restaurants as well. This is THE hometown brewery for me, and Im very proud to say so.

We love Heaven & Ale, the patio on the Southside is the perfect spot to enjoy a draft beer while social distancing. Pup friendly with water provided.

My favorite brewery in Chattanooga. They’ve got good choice of flavors (IPA and stout) and limited lagers. They’ve got two sections - one in the brewery and the other by the roadside where they also sell other beers. You can either sit outside or sit in. They have music on Fridays and very very limited food. The roadside section does not have food.

Heaven & Ale is my new favorite place for a beer in Chattanooga. They have an amazingly curated draft beer list and kudos to the knowledgeable, friendly staff that guided me through my selections at the bar. They were engaging and truly made the experience worth the drive downtown!

Poor quality beer. Beer was had high levels of ester, likely fermented too warm. Not good

Still love their beer. New location is great but for some reason my wife & I LOVED the North Shore location since it was the first. Missed that DAMN yellow couch.

Can’t remember the name of the stout I had, but it was genuinely the best beer I’ve ever had. So wish I lived closer and could visit more. Also, the staff was very friendly, and it was nice to be able to have my dogs with me outside while enjoying our drinks.

Outdoor space here is the best in Southside. The craft beer is high quality but can be pricier than other breweries. Overall a very solid place to grab a beer. PS. If youre really into New England/hazy IPAs or sours, this is a good place to go.

Discovered this craft brewery on 30 Dec 18. The stouts, porters, and pale ales are uniformly superb. For me, this is the best craft brewery I have discovered in Chattanooga to date.

Great place to stop in for beers. Wide selection of Chattanooga brewed beers. The stouts were wonderful and they have plentiful selection of IPAs and Pale Ales. This shouldnt be confused with the growler/pint shop. This is the brewery behind the old H&A.

GREAT beers, nice folks. They dont have bottled or canned beer ready for sale here but they can fill a 32 oz oil can and seal it on site for you. Not cheap but I tried one of their beers at a restaurant and when I found out we were down the street, I just had to come by. Ill be back!

Tried a couple great beers but covid has really ruined the brewery experience. I like to talk to the bartender in depth about the brews they have to offer and mask, no bar stools, and 6 feet make that near impossible. Not their fault though

The beer variation was much less than the selection available might seem. They tended to taste the same, no matter what style or name it was given. Like several breweries, a good development of good craft brew was replaced with, just add more hops, it must be better.I found that I really couldnt distinguish the beer from fermented iguana pisz. My wife came to the same conclusion. We both left beer in glass when we left... that should never happen.The bar tender did not seem to understand when i asked for a pint glass... rather odd....Chattanooga offers several, many, all others were, better choices.

One of the best outdoor spaces on Main Street. Dog friendly. They even brought out a dog bowl for Mojo. Great beer and staff.

We love our neighborhood Heaven and Ale. We can go for a walk with the doggo and stop for a beer and chill on the wonderful patio. They have great snacks and beers.

The best brewery in Chattanooga!! Definitely recommend the Love Supreme milk stout and Juice Buckets IPA!

Awesome place. The vibes were great, the staff was super cool, the beer was superb, and we went on the doggy night so our puppy loved it.

Visited from out of town. Loved it! Great beer at a great price! They dont do flights, but you can get as many of as few 5oz pours as you want. Tried so many things and loves them all! The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Cool spot, excellent beers, good prices! Theyll do a 9 or 16 oz pour and they have tasty snacks like a spicy muhammara dip with a Bread & Butter baguette. Love the atmosphere, service was great, will be back!

Perfect atmosphere. Lots of room. Great beers. Lots of experimental ones. I havent had a bad beer yet! Bartenders usually keep to themselves, so make of that what you will (I know some like that). Plenty of parking too (which is hard to find nowadays!). Every time I go there are a few new beers on tap!

One of my favorite spots. Theyve got great beer, theyre always coming out with new brews, and theres a good mix of classic styles (IPAs, Pales, Stouts) and more unique experimental stuff. Its also just a cool atmosphere. Depending on the beer, it can be fairly pricey, but its almost all good enough to justify it.

Good atmosphere, Good beer, questionable service but the kicker is that this only brewery on earth I have been to that CHARGES YOU FOR A TASTE OF BEER to see what you want to order. No free tastes. Only option is to Purchase for 2 bucks a 5 oz pour. And if you dont care for it, you are out 2 bucks. Try 3 things, you are out 6 bucks or the cost of a beer and still havent ordered your pint. Ludicrous! Been there 3 times, thinking they may change. Was actually told by a waiter they did this because that is what all breweries are doing now. Do What? Apparently they have never been to another brewery. So, I have given up and wont return. Cheers!

We stopped in for a drink around 5 pm Saturday with our two large dogs and the bartender was thrilled to invite them in. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a cider and a beer flight while the dogs got a huge bowl of fresh water. The vibe was chill and the beer was good, so a great time for everyone.

Great space, good beer, games, and dogs allowed. What more could you want? Oh yeah, good munchies. The smoked trout is incredible!!!!!

Amazing food!

I sat at the bar for 15 minutes and the two bartenders, a dude with a man bun and a rather oblivious blond girl, completely ignored us. We tried to get their attention multiple times and they completely ignored us while continuing to serve customers that already had beer. Another couple was sitting next to us and was complaining about the same thing. I do not recommend this place. It was not overwhelmed and there were very few people in the place and yet still we were not served. Even if they had been busy, I would have expected a be with you in a minute or sorry for the wait. They did not even talk to us. They went about their business even though they walked over to rinse out the Growlers and cups that they were working with right in front of us less than 5 feet away. No eye contact. You really need to teach your people what customer service is. I am something of a beer tourist and I have yet to see such terrible service anywhere else.

Would have given it 5 stars because their beer is delicious. Attitude and personality dropped the rating. However you cant try a single beer. their bartenders are kind of pretentious and didnt do a last call. They just told us that they were closed even though we had been sitting there for over an hour drinking. Overall they have the best beer in Chattanooga.One of the cooks, I think his name was Harrison, was very knowledgeable and much more helpful than hipster mustache bartender. He is the savior of a terrible review for the venue.

Heaven & Ale i I great spot to grab some beers with your friends, study, read, or just grab a drink. They always have a solid selection of beers and offer 5oz and up. Dog friendly. Solid place.

Nice atmosphere, big place but not a whole lot of seating. I went when it wasnt very busy so it was fine but Im not sure I would want to go when it was busy. The beer is great! A lot of different beers that you dont see at other breweries. They have a crowler station if you want to take their beers home too.

The beer is phenonmal. Great selection of brews you may not have tried before! And dont even get me started on the bartenders. Very attentive. Great pours. Youll love this place.

Selection of beers on their website and Untappd does not match their current tap selection, which is pretty disappointing if you want to try a style being promoted. The old dont have that but try this one 😒 Also, the Cheese Board was the ONLY item available in OUT OF THE ENTIRE MENU. Disappointing for such a high rated place. 👎

The beer selection continually rotates and changes daily on several taps. Never a boring selection. Staff is, across the board, the most knowledgeable in Chattanooga. Other good beer places have one or two knowledgeable on staff. Everyone here knows their beer.

Best brewery in Chatt. Limited menu of excellent house brew but wide selection of regional and national A players on tap as well. Chill pub, cool staff; This will eventually be the it place in town.

If you come to Chattanooga and only drink one beer, it should be from Heaven & Ale. These guys are putting out some of the best beers I have had the pleasure of enjoying. Dont miss out!

My wife and I went here during a slow time of day. The bartender was friendly and the beer selection was awesome.We sat in the outdoor space and could only dream about a weekend day. We saw the cornhole set and the extensive seating and could picture the fun times here with such great beer selection.We did however, see someone bring their pet pig that was roaming around, so that was pretty awesome. Definitely need to come back to this spot.

Came into Chattanooga for a weekend and this is the only place we will go repeat times in the same stay. I appreciate that they serve really delicious kombucha alongside the beer.
