Located off riverside drive across from boathouse this is a cozy high quality brewery with friendly service. Stop in and order a flight of all beers and choose your favorite... Love the rosemary saison and watermelon seltzer. Everything made on site. Great lounge area outside that is dog friendly with tables, corn hole, full bar area, couch seating, games, and during some wknd hours food trucks also swing by. Highly recommend and will be back for sure what a gem of a find for Chattanooga

It was our first time checking out Tanasi and it will certainly not be our last! From the moment my group of friends and I walked in we immediately felt like family, Clinton took his time to ensure we had the best experience possible and I even got some guidance on home brewing! The beer was fantastic, the vibe was great, and if you pass through Chattanooga youve got to check this place out.

Great little spot. Parked our Airstream for the night thanks to #harvesthosts. Clinton has a great little business going. The beers are fantastic and the atmosphere makes feel like you belong when you walk through the door.

Great spot that is a Veteran owned company with views of the mountains and even a dog park. Clinton takes great pride in his craft and it shows in the quality of his beer and the personable friendliness of his character. Ill definitely be coming back.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The owner is absolutely awesome. When you come in, take a minute to talk to Clint. He’s incredibly informed in his field and very forthcoming with sharing his accumulated knowledge. The bar itself is awesome; clean, great music, chill atmosphere, cool bar top with awesome craft beer labels. But the shop is also well stocked with everything you need for your brewing adventure. He even has super affordable starter kits for people that are just dipping their toes in the water. Definitely go check this place out for all your beer needs!

In all honesty, I’m not typically a beer drinker. They all taste the same to me. EXCEPT HERE. Tanasi Brewing brings flavor and nuance to every glass. It’s a mouth punch of delicious using tried and true brewing styles.The Rise and Grind (coffee blonde), the Banana Hefeweizen, the American IPA with Green Tea!Go take your palette on a magical carpet ride through his rotating beer list.

They brew their own beer, and my initial reaction is really good.I was surprised that this place is much more than a brewing supply company. The owner/brewer is very knowledgeable and friendly.There is indoor seating, and a great outdoor biergarten and dog park out back.I can’t wait to go back!

The owners are incredible and the beer is great. I have 0 problem giving them as much business as possible. And the beer is VERY diverse and you will find something you like and if you don’t the owner will find it for you. HIGHLY recommend

Great brewery! Veteran owned too. Wife loved the seltzer and I did a flight of all the beers. Everything was good. Went home with the Irish Red. Can’t wait to come back with the dog and hang out in the dog park behind the brewery.

Great selection of Home Brew ingredients and equipment. We all know that when something doesnt go quite right on brew day, you may need to get something quick, fast, and in a hurry, or you risk scrapping a run. Clinton was quick to support and helped me get what I needed in a pinch. Great place and great people!

This is the place to enjoy a nice cold brew and great company! Craft beer is worth the beautiful short winding drive through Chattanooga to an oasis of perfectly crafted beers. Clinton extends his wonderful hospitality to doggos too with Tanasi’s dog park. It doesn’t get better than this!

Tanasi is a fantastic local brewery and beer garden just outside downtown Chattanooga. Clinton is knowledgeable and passionate about his beer—a true artisan and craftsman! He’s created a warm and welcoming environment at Tanasi, and I really appreciate the spacious beer garden. There are several picnic tables and seating areas and room for a game of corn hole.I love that Tanasi is right across the street from the Riverwalk—next time we may ride our bikes in for a beer!

We just finished up a GREAT night at Tanasi. The setup is really great with great hangout areas inside and out. The owners were super friendly and went out of their way to shot us around, chat, and find out how they could be accommodating. All the beers were great and worth coming back forth. Such a gem! This super dog friendly place allows pups inside and outside and even have an enclosed area just for them to run around. I tried their hard seltzer they make called watermelon crawl. It was by far the best seltzer I have ever had. Not too sweet and no weird aftertaste. Their staff was super friendly. Ill definitely be back!

We are visiting Chattanooga for the first time as a family and happened to pass Tanasi on the way back to our airbnb. My husband knew I was wanting to visit a local brewery so when he saw the awesome logo that he knew Id like he flipped a u-turn. So glad he did. We sampled a flight of almost half the beers on tap and they were all unique and enjoyable. Flavors unlike any other microbrews ive had. I like that this place is smaller in terms of microbrews since that comes with character and brew tastes that are complex and carefully crafted instead of mass produced. The owner was helpful, knowledgeable, and just a nice person to hang out with. The business is his lifeblood and you can tell it. Great place to visit with our kids who are very chill and used to visiting breweries with us. Awesome merch. with the beautiful logo. Cant wait to drink our growler that we took home of the Banana Hands Hefeweizen which was my favorite. We will definitely go back when we return to Chattanooga.

We were just finishing our trip to Chattanooga and made one last drive down the riverfront to see the boathouse. We did and started to turn around and found it was a little brewing company. So we did what any self respecting couple does, went in to check it out. Great decision. The owners are super nice and personal in this great shop. If you’re into home brew, this is your place! If you just like beer, this is also your place! He had 8 or so of his own brews on tap, we brought 5 home with us.I wish we had more time to hang out, there is a great outdoor space and dog park and the whole place has a pretty cool vibe. 10/10, will go again!

We’ve been by a few times and have been super impressed every time. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, and the beers are great!!! I’m all over the map in terms of what I drink (if it tastes good, I like it). I’m a fan of Tanasi’s saisons and kolschs and stouts and...anyway, it’s good. Now, Clinton has made a RIDICULOUS watermelon seltzer, and I am very happy with it. Slightly sweet, super refreshing, no weird aftertaste. It’s delightful. The beer garden is a great place to kill some time and have some fun. Bring the pups and let them enjoy the dog park while you play some games. A Chattanooga gem, for sure.

I was looking for a new spot to grab a drink in Chat and came across Tanasi. Clint was super friendly and explained the home brewing process. Tanasi is an incredible experience and a must stop for those visiting, new-to, or long time residents of Chattanooga. Incredible knowledge of what makes a beer spectacular and how to brew it. It has become one of my favorite places to visit whenever I can.

Stopped in to pick up some supplies to make some mead and wound up spending over 30 minutes talking with Clint about home brewing and his business. It’s truly amazing to have a resource like this in town, and it will become my go-to shop for home brewing supplies. There’s not a nicer shop owner in the tri-state area. Highly recommended!

A great place to meet up with friends and grab a pint. Several brews on tap that are brewed on the premises. Other craft brews also available on draft or in cans. They even offer growlers and crowlers (16 oz cans) to go. You can also find all the supplies you need for home brewing.And, if thats not enough, theres a great beer garden with picnic tables, corn hole, rings, etc.
