I stopped in quickly to pick up a few bourbons but hadn’t decided before arriving, and the shop keeper was very nice and offered great insights on what products were hard to find, when she last had them in, and their price. The selection was awesome and they had quite a few barrel picks at great prices.I’ve done a decent bit of price checking and the prices here seemed really fair to me across the board. With the great selection and honest pricing, I’ll be dropping in anytime I’m driving through.

Didnt have what I wanted but very helpful finding 2 bottles of local bourbon for sons. Really knowledgeable and went out of their way to be helpful. Really liked this store. They have a nice selection and if you are passing through would suggest a visit.

Rude because there was no heart to how she approached the situation, it would be one thing if you had age verification software and scanned Ids but you dont.So asking and looking at someones Id is redundant if I could of made a purchase with a fake.Im 28 year old adult and lady wouldnt sell to my cousin with his Id who was 22. They were rude and wouldnt serve my African American friends. Keep stating they would not sell to them even when they look over the age of 21 and presented ids, it was a terrible experience we were visiting.Response from the ownerJoseph,Sorry you felt that you were treated unfairly, but we have signs posted on the presentation of ids when entering the store. Your friends got loud and we making a scene in the store. The law is clear on carding anyone in the store that doesnt appear to look the age of 50Responding to Owner!!!Excuse me? My friends were not loud? Or is this a word automatically used when interacting with people of color. An Asian male and female loud really?? They were very calm and respectful being that their were visitors, and the attendants even followed them to the door on their way out. I am very disgusted with this place as well as your response!!! You know you will get more business if you and your employees decided to do something about your bias!!!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE! The attendants were very rude and made it clear that serving us was a luxury to them. We demanded our IDs back and took our business elsewhere.Based on some of the other reviews, they are only professional to a certain type of clientele. Would NEVER return.

The female at the counter was the rudest person I have had to deal with in a long time. She didnt like me from the beginning because she saw my badge and ID from the state (retired). She refused to allow me to purchase because my ID on top only had my first and last name on it. No middle name. She said it didnt match my credit card. I then handed her my drivers license which matches my credit card exactly. She proceeded to tell me I had a bad attitude and she refused to sell anything to me. I asked to see a manager and she said he was gone until next week and she was in charge, you lost my $60+ purchase or any other visits to your store for the mistreatment from such a rude individual. I hope you ask her if I raised my voice, I didnt or act aggressive in any way but professionally toward her. Please review the tape and audio from 08/17/2020 at approximately 12 p.m. she had several men standing around the counter who may have worked there but I dont know for sure. If its the fact she hates any authority then Ill let all the friends I know who are military or police to stay away from this store regardless. If it were my employee without question she would be unemployed for losing such business.....

The staff has always helpful and friendly and if they dont have what you want you can sometimes actually order it. The prices are pretty much comprable to what they are all over the state. I believe you do get a 10% discount if you buy by the case.

A good store to get and grab liquor stock from.The place is approachable and located on main road, in the vicinity of local Walmart store and many hotel accommodations.There is a huge collection of liquor, wine and beer to choose from. Common selling liquors are also available in miniatures.Most credit cards are accepted.

Very helpful staff. They went out of the way to locate a bottle of Weller for us. Prices are reasonable and the customer service is why we always return because they always are so helpful and nice.

Unprofessional staff. I am giving this review one star because my experience started off fine when I first walked through the door. There were about 4 people behind the counter which I’m guessing were all staff. They were laughing really loudly and talking when I walked in, but they did greet me. I was walking around aimlessly looking for the items I needed when I got back to the counter and I was asked if I needed any help. This is where the problem occurred. I told one of the ladies that I was looking for something for my brother’s birthday who would turn 21 the next day. I didn’t realize this would be a problem because I wasn’t seeing my bother until his actual birthday and I was told that I couldn’t get anything now since I had given that away. Now, I will explain that that wasn’t where the issue came from as I was not upset at all that they were doing their jobs of trying to ensure that no young people drinking alcohol. I commend them for that; even though I was not asked to show my ID upon entering the store like the door sign said was supposed to happen immediately, and I am clearly only just above drinking age. Anyway, the problem occurred after I told the staff who I was buying for and they immediately changed their tone from trying to help me find something to talking to me as if I were incompetent because I “had given away what I was trying to do.” My intention was to buy something for my brother on his actual birthday, so I didn’t even realize that I may have been doing something wrong; and they treated me as though I had just stolen something. What really upset me was how the conversation then turned. The woman told me I would have to come back tomorrow. I knew that it was Sunday which is why I was trying to buy the gifts the day before. In my experience being from Tennessee, every liquor store I had ever known of was closed on Sunday. I told the woman that tomorrow was Sunday, thinking that maybe she didn’t realize what day it was. During all of this, I was not angry or being impolite in anyway as, again, I really wouldn’t want my brother, who has never touched a sip of alcohol in his life, to drink before he was actually legal. She very rudely started to talk to me in an animated and SLOW way to tell me that “this—was— Hamilton—county where you’re allowed to buy liquor on Sunday, and I can come back tomorrow.” I was a confused customer who had just moved to the Chattanooga area, and I also cross GA/TN state lines very often for work so I am very new to the laws and areas I am in. In no way should the employee have been so disrespectful in explaining things to me, a confused customer, because she 100% came off as one of the worst customer service encounters I have ever experienced. The only time I got rude with her was after she spoke to me in this way and I could tell it was intentional. I was so frustrated that all I finally said was “Cool” to her face to clearly show my anger and walked out shaking my head at the blatant disrespect. Coming from someone who has worked in customer service, most people would be fired from this type of treatment of others or at least reprimanded. Any service I have thus far experienced in Hamilton County has been far below average and, frankly, rude, disrespectful, and judgmental. This business experience only confirmed that for me more. I do not recommend this establishment or this area for shopping whatsoever.Andy, I don’t see a way to respond to your comment, so I will respond here. During my four years of college, I was a lead server at the restaurant I worked at. I encountered several stings in which I had to politely deny guests, and I even had a few moments in which I had to take drinks away from customers who sneakily put them in front of their friends with no ID. Like I said in my initial review, I had no issue being turned away and didn’t realize I had created a problem but, nevertheless, completely understood why I could not complete the sale. The issue arose when your employee was blatantly rude/confrontational to a confused customer. I didn’t see any respect.

I’m from California. I was happy to see a wide variety of different alcohol. But very disappointed in their low class customer service. They treated me almost as if they didn’t want my money. Very rude and unprofessional. I’ll take my business somewhere else. I don’t recommend this liquor store to anyone.

This place is amazing for the traveler headed to Bonnaroo! It is right on the way and frankly the last GREAT stop to load up on booze. The man is very friendly and helpful. He is savvy on the no glass policy and directs you to the liquor of your choice in plastic. The ice machine out front is perfect for filling up coolers before heading to Bonnaroo. There is a setting for bags and a setting for coolers (I prefer the cooler setting because it is more ice for your money). Just be careful to remember to put your cooler under the ice shoot BEFORE operating.

I used to frequent this store regularly. The last time I was there the owner followed me as if I was going to steal something. The cashier was checking cameras in the back. I am a woman of color and simply refuse to spend my money in places like this. I will drive a few more miles to the diverse liquor store on brainard
