Great area, lots of seating. Tasty flavors chose a nitro stout that was full of flavor, as well as a blackberry sour. One of the best sours I have had. The space is unique and Proof will deliver food to you there. QR codes on the tables to scan for a menu. I wish I had tasted more beers.

Best brewery in Chattanooga combined with the best bar staff makes it a must go to in Chattanooga. Staff provide fast, friendly and knowledgeable service and there is a large selection of great beer to choose from. They dont have a kitchen but you are welcome to bring food in to eat. Because they dont serve food it is a strictly over 21 establishment so parents make it a date night visit as no kids are allowed.

Very cool place. Down to earth people who work there and extremely knowledgeable! We went there on a brewery tour and had to go back today and get beers to take home! Picked up some shirts too. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Brewery. They had a wide selection of different beers on tap. They also offer flights which is a great way try a lot of their beers if you are either indecisive or from out of town. Definitely a neat place to stop by if you are in the area!

First time at Hutton & Smith Brewing. Im not a big beer gal, but Im broadening my palate. This brewery has an awesome vibe. Rusty really enjoyed the stout and the bar tender Dillon was super helpful in offering suggestions and grabbing samples for me until we found the perfect drink! Love the Slick Rock Pale Ale!

Decent local beer and the staff and local patrons were quite nice and offered good suggestions on things to do for out of town guests.

The geology theme is a HUGE draw for me as a geologist, but honestly the beer was amazing too. I dont typically enjoy porters but their Vadose Vanilla Porter was a smooth, easy-to-drink beer full of flavor. The customer service was top notch. Only thing Im sad about is they were out of their logo stickers- would have loved to put one on my Jeep!

This place is awesome and the staff is very knowledgeable. I am a big beer drinker and was kind of lost trying to decide what to choose, one of the bartenders stepped in and gave me a great explanation about their products. This is my favorite brewery in Chattanooga. The perfect blend of great beer, laid back atmosphere, and personable staff. They have a good variety of beers, light, dark, malty, hoppy, sour, sweet. This is where you want to hang out with your friends, after work or on a weekend afternoon after a hike.

Some of the best beers Ive ever had! Their boysenberry sour is like liquid yogurt in the best way. Loved all of the other 7 beers we tried their too! Go with a few full flights of everything on the menu and youll thank yourself after.

This is a really nice local spot just down the hill from UTC. They have a huge selection of craft beers and a great staff ready to talk about them all. Plus theyre geology nerds and thats just cute.

Best beer & crew around!

We came 30 minutes after close and were sitting waiting to be waited on for a while when one of the bartenders told us they were closed. We were super bummed and a little annoyed, but then he went out of his way to chase us down was we were leaving and apologized and gave us a free 6 pack for waiting so long!! Super nice of him and the beer was delicious! If were ever in the area again we will definitely come back! :)

Enough on dumb reviews.H+S has amazing beer and a great selection. Some breweries may have 5 or 6 beers on tap, not here. Its common to see a dozen plus beers on tap.Also the bartenders are super cool and provide great service.Never met the owners but from what I hear they are pretty cool folks.H+S is wins all around.

This has fast become my favorite brewery in town, especially since they started making sours! Every beer Ive had there is a superb example of its kind. The vanilla porter, passionfruit and boysenberry sours are my current favorites. I recommend starting with a sampler flight...or two...

One of my Favorites in Chattanooga. Phenomenal beer, great service, and an awesome expansion. My wife and I frequently visited before and continued while she was pregnant. Sad to find out today that her victory baby beer would be denied now that said baby has arrived. As a couple that moved from a brewery Mecca, SD, we reflect on memories of family friendly, and family welcoming breweries. Its extremely disappointing that this is no longer an option open to us. Ill continue to enjoy and support the craft, just extremely frustrated that we wont be able to do so at the establishment. As a homebrewer in the community nothing is more fun than rubbing elbows with others with similar appreciation.

We found this gem after a full day of hiking. On the advice of the kind woman who was picking up some brews to take home, we opted for the flights. We sampled across the color and flavor spectrum. The barkeep gave us some history behind the Hutton and Smith story, which is fascinating and explains a lot about the brewmasters. We bought a six pack of Promenade and a Crowler of Vanilla Stout. We have been enjoying both in front of the campfire.We are home brewers and felt like we found our tribe in Hutton and Smith.We are looking forward to returning to your fine establishment.This is the place for beer people.

Bartender was friendly and fast, atmosphere wonderful with good, quality music that you can focus on if need be, and ignore if indulging in wonderful conversation. Beer is amazing as always. Highly recommend.

What an excellent micro brewery! Intimate tasting room with friendly staff and inexpensive pours. 3 or 4 different sized pours for each beer make for a perfect mix. No food, but lots of munchies to buy.A must see brewery when your in Chattanooga.

Neat little brewery in Chattanooga. A huge plus is that it is dog friendly AND inside.

If you are not young, cute, and female, forget about getting any service. 4/7 male bartender helped girls around my wife and I and others who came in after us! They did not seem to care when we got up and left without ever being served! Very poor customer service!!! Apparently only go if you are young and female!!!! Had high hopes for their beers, but alas....By the way, we were there for about 30 minutes!!!!!

I did not get to have any beer or go inside because we had our 4 month old daughter with us, so i cant comment on beer quality or service. I mostly just wanted to help get the message out that this brewery, and Oddstory Brewing nearby, do not allow anyone under 21 inside. I did not know that and was bummed out to only find out after getting to the front door. So heads up people with kids - dont head this way. Chattanooga Brewing was family friendly and had good beer, however.

Was there early on a sunday maybe it was bcos they had just opened or the staff was hung over from the night B4 felt like they were doing you a favor to take your order. We werent the only people in the place. Has a good feeling inside and has potential. Will have to give it another chance.

This place has a great feel and aesthetic, great staff and a plethora of great beers of all kinds. From black IPAs to blondes and gose, they are all made wonderfully by people that take a lot of pride in what they do. Additionally, it is SO close to a handful of great eateries, so you can soak up some of that amazing beer.

A-Pale Ale 6.0abv pretty good low hop nose and front, low hop with bitter on the finish (unbalanced, nothing to go out of your way for) 16oz ; Ign-IPA 7.2abv (exact same above, semi- disappointing) 16oz ;- good WiFi, no parking, no outdoor seating, no TV, right on the street but easy to miss, serving sizes and prices are semi-clearly listed, (18 offerings on tap today with 4 being Belgo/adjunct type malt beverages), dog friendly, (I had the but-squirts for the rest of the evening after being here, theres some cleanliness issues)

Spot on beers, great selection, and a real cool atmosphere. Were climbers and enjoyed the evening flights at H&S and talking local beta for the next day. Keep up the good work! The Paleo Pilsner was oh so tasty and the Porter Ledge was also a favorite.

Stop what you are doing and go there now. They have a really nice roof that keeps the rain out and lots of tasty beer.

I am a regular here at Hutton & Smith because their beer is phenomenal, and I say that as a craft beer snob. I really appreciate that they brew beers that arent IPAs, but the IPAs they do brew are good -- and I say that as someone who doesnt like IPAs. The service here is always impeccable, and all the bartenders are extremely helpful. Every Wednesday is their $3 pint night (for most beers on tap - but not all). I highly recommend their Belay On, Seismic Saison #1 & #2, On-Sight Alt, Waterline Wheatwine, Bivouac Black IPA, and Crux-Mas Ale!
