My wife and I bought a used 2014 Suburban from Long s few days before going on vacation and had mentioned to them the importance of a safe reliable road car. Before we took delivery, we asked them to check out the frontend/suspension because it handled like a boat. The vehicle would drift from lane to lane and was dangerous in my opinion to drive. It also has a clunking noise in the rearend. We waited two days while their mechanic checked it out and was told the front end was out of alignment and that it had since been corrected and was all good to go Since we only live a few miles away from the dealership we never got the vehicle over 45 mph on our way home. Loaded up our stuff and took off. A short time into our drive, the vehicle got so out of control i thought we were going to crash. Half way into our first day, the check engine light came on so I messaged Dale Reese about it and he said to call him when we made it home. I was able to find a place to have them hook up to read the code and turns out to be 2 (two) oxygen sensors. Driving a newly purchased car with a check engine light on is no fun especially when youre 500 miles from home. When we made it home I called Dale who wanted to have me schedule a time to bring it in. When I asked about the cost of diagnosing he stated there was no charge to read the codes but any work after that could be upwards of $150 per hour plus parts. Sooo, okay I see theyre not going to help at all here. WE took it the next day to our local trusted mechanic to have the steering/handling checked out Was told it needed a new rear differential, and new shocks on the rear and struts on the front as this was whats causing the poor handling. I contacted Dale and Jason W to let them know what was going on. They completely ignored me so i messaged them again and was once again ignored by both Here we are two weeks later and no word from either and Im looking at $3k plus in repairs without the Oxygen sensors being addressed Id expect more courtesy but after the sell is complete, so is all of their concern!
I recently shopped around for my first new car and found the best service and most knowledgeable reps at Mercedes. Aaron Schmitt did a great job of letting the product sell itself. He presented me with all of the information on the vehicles and never pushed me into anything like many car dealers are prone to do. Its early to call, but I can easily see myself returning as a lifelong customer. Highly recommend.

Took my MB to Long of Chattanooga for its first 10,000 mile service. Service was faster than I anticipated for a Saturday. The waiting area was comfortable and clean. All the salespeople & service techs I spoke with were very knowledgeable, courteous & helpful.
Mercedes at Long Service Dept. took me in as an emergency case when my engine only had so many start cycles left (Check Engine). And I know I gave them a hard time and called them almost everyday, but they had to literally take my car apart and put it back together to safe-guard my problem from happening again, so you went above and beyond and now I feel safe again in my Mercedes-Benz! This place will not service any sprinter products. They will tell you the area you can get them serviced Knoxville, Nashville, and Atlanta but they have no phone numbers or contact info for those places. Youd think a dealership that cant offer a certain service would have that kind of information at to provide to other Mercedes owners out convenience.
Shopping at Long Mercedes-Benz was one of the easiest car purchase I have had. Sarah is a great salesperson and puts the customer first. When we came to pick up the car the detail of the car was not up to her standard and she spent over 30 min to get it to her standard. If you are looking for a car I recommend Long and go see Sarah.

I bought a 2013 Ford Escape October of 2020. Vehicle had a little over 30k miles on it. I purchased the car in full via cash and they had a bad attitude about having to count the money prior to closing (I was coming from Knoxville. If they dont like counting cash they could get a money counter or tell me they preferred cashiers check before my drive. The salesman said it would be perfectly fine payment method. Nonetheless, The airbag light was on on test drive, and the sales rep said the vehicle had not been wrecked before. Carfax is clean. However, we went to fix the sunroof due to it not operating and upon inspection the side airbag curtains were cut on the drive side. Manually done. It was a 1 owner car when I purchased it. The dealership claimed their inspections everything was in good working order & at the time of purchase we didnt test sunroof. The sunroof never worked when I purchased it, and we were fine with that. However, over time water had started to get in and the sunroof turned out to be slightly open. The main wires are not connected to the sunroof panel and that would require the main harness to be replaced to do it the correct way. Very extensive according to the local ford dealership. After we bought it the hood latch quit working quickly after and Long of Chattanoga dealership refunded us the amount it cost to fix. around 300 dollars so that is admirable. Nonetheless, we were told the car was sound and only had some minor cosmetic defects, which we were buying for the low milage, so we didnt mind the cosmetic. However, these issues were much more profound. Not sure if it is a 1st year ford new model issue, or a dealership not being forthright about the condition of the car. Altogether cars engine is still running fine, but the lack of honesty was disappointing

Do not, I repeat do not buy the prepaid maintenance plan with Long Mercedes or any Mercedes in general. We purchased it brand new last year with our car and didn’t even get the chance to use it 1 time before having to upgrade to a larger vehicle. Come to find out the dealer doesn’t tell you that the plan sticks with the vehicle for life. So we got screwed out of $2000+ dollars from them. The dealer could have easily told us about this when we was purchasing but did not. When we was talking to Chad in finance about it he also said we were not the first ones having this issue that he was also working with 2 other clients with this same issue. If you want to throw money down the drain the buy it. Would love to see a reply but there won’t be any reply to this review and if there is Chad in finance has my cell number. Better yet would love to hear the owner step in and do the right thing but he got his free cash from us so it’s a done deal in their books.Update 2/25/21 I contacted MBUSA and spoke with 3 separate reps and everyone of the. Said the prepaid maintenance plan is a plan that is independently given by each dealer so it has nothing to do with Mercedes but solely upon the dealer itself. I also reread all the terms and agreements and there is nothing stating in them about the plan not being refundable.

Poor customer service. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We purchased a 2020 Mercedes GLC in May 2020 and with the vehicle we bought the extended warranty, dent repair and prepaid maintenance plan. At the time of purchase, we were told that If we ever sold or traded the car that these plans would be prorated and depending on the usage we would be refunded all or some of the money. In January 2021, we traded the vehicle because we needed something bigger for our family. To my surprise I was told the prepaid maintenance plan was non refundable. We were not told this at time of purchase. After waiting 4 weeks and constantly calling the financial service department at Long who very rarely would take or return my calls, we were finally given a final answer that none of our unused $2050 maintenance plan would be refunded. This is very disappointing because we were not told this upfront. In the future, we will not purchase another vehicle from any Long dealership and will not recommend them to any family or friends. Also we do not recommend anyone purchasing the prepaid maintenance plan especially if there’s a chance you may not use it. So I guess we gave Mercedes a $2050 donation
