I was a bit surprised when we first came in. I looked a bit run down from afar but it was nice and simple. Get in and get out kind of place. Their prices and products were very good.

Bought a washer and as soon as the limited warranty ran out the washer stopped spinning. Went back yesterday to get another washer and when we got it home the lid doesn’t latch so the washer will not run. I’m a bit discouraged! Staff is very nice but appliances are not all reliable.

Be sue to take pictures of your purchases if you are coming back later to pick them up. I paid for my washer and dryer. I went back the next day to pick them up. They had moved my name onto a different washing machine which was obviously not the one I purchased! My purchasing experience was not the best. So far both machines work fine so I hope they continue.

Id buy from here again. They have the best deals on used washers and dryers. I got a high efficiency, top loading washer for $240. We had an issue, but the management quickly remedied it. They also deliver if you live in the area. You can purchase used stoves or new mattresses and box springs here as well.

Bought a set(washer/dryer=$300)in 2014. They were supposed to be matching but thats on me. I helped him pull the wrong washer, again my fault I was in a hurry. They both have been great and Ive only had to replace a belt on the dryer, its a Maytag. But my washer(G.E.) is in its last days, so I will be paying him another vist in my near future.

I cannot get anyone from this place to answer the phone so I can get this issue resolved. I went back and explained what happened. Without hesitation, they let me exchange the washer with another one. They are extremely easy to work with. And I will most definitely buy from them again!

Absolutely great experience. The man was extremely nice, had good deals on pretty much everything in the store. I gave him my address, $190 dollars for a mattress and box spring and off I went. It was quick and easy. No hassle, he didn’t keep trying to sell me stuff, he knew what I wanted and didn’t make it complicated. I was in and out all in 15 minutes. Great man.

I picked up a dryer here two years ago and it’s still going strong! That’s why, today I picked up a washer for a great price and a 90 day warranty! I don’t see any reason to spend $ in a big appliance store when you can get a quality, used appliance here! You won’t be disappointed!

I just bought a Kenmore Elite washer. It has 90 day warranty. If after 90 days the washer somehow stops working properly, you can trade it in for another washer . So far so good! UPDATE THE KENMORE ELITE WASHER IS STILL GOING STRONG. WORKING PROPERLY! GREAT CHOICE. I LOVE IT! Now its 2020 ! Im now in my second year of owning this washing machine and its still going strong ! Thumbs up!

C&B is the best place to buy a washer and dryer set in Chattanooga. I bought my washer and dryer set when I moved here six years ago and they were practically brand new and extremely well-priced. They have been serving me well all this time and I only had to return today to buy a new washer bc my house had a power surge and I lost my original washer from six years ago. Once again, I found lots of options here and everything is clean and well-kept. You can tell the owners only bring in the highest quality items. C&B does have a friendly staff but as far as the quality of products I have received from them I have been incredibly disappointed. I am on my 3rd washer from them in the span of 10 days and I will be getting my money back.The first time I went I bought a washer but was told that I would have to wait nearly a week for delivery so I opted to take it myself. Installing the washer my wife discovered that it was not agitating correctly. I went down and talked to them, same day, and they said that they would let me swap one out but delivery would still have to wait until Thursday. I agreed.Come Thursday I was delivered a unit that was in worse shape than the one I previously purchased: a terrible, loud metal on metal grinding could be heard anytime the washer went into a spin cycle. I asked if they tested these units out fully before selling them and they assured me that they did but they would let me swap out for another one. I inquired if I could just get my money back if I needed and they said I could. I went ahead and got a replacement.I was able to get more help loading this one at the house. This unit was barely cleaned, inside or out. After about 20 minutes of scrubbing dirt and maybe some mold from the inside of the waster I ran a test load of towels. The unit is certainly better than the previous two, since it works, but there is an occasional metal scraping when the unit is spinning. I may go for a refund and just spend 2.5x the amount for a new unit to just completely cut out the hassle.I was recommended this place from people in my church, including my pastor, but after this arduous experience I dont think I will ever shop there again nor can I personally recommend them. Another annoying thing was they would not take my original washer off my hands as a nicety since they didnt need it even though Ive had to go through the hassle of 3 different washers from them.Buyer beware. If you choose to purchase an appliance from C&B I hope your experience is better than mine. I would have given them only 1 star but since they allowed me to get my money back and they were friendly I decided on 2.

My thousand dollar washer died and I just didnt feel like dropping another grand to clean clothes. I went to C&B Appliances and bought a used machine that looked brand new for $275.00. It looks and runs great and does just as good a job. Very happy. Ill recommend this place to anyone. They also sell new mattresses.

I purchased a washer here at the end of July. The washers spin cycle wouldnt engage last night, so I brought it in this morning with the receipt and they happily let me swap it out for a new one. This is near the end of the 90 day warranty period, but they were happy to oblige. Ive also purchased a dryer from them that works quite well.

Me and my girlfriend went here to purchase a washer. The guy working there was far less than cordial. He had 3 washers for the price of $190 dollars. I asked the guy if he would be willing to negotiate on the price and he said he would take $170 plus tax for a total of $185.72. The guy said we could have our pick of those 3. He wouldnt take a split payment so we had to run to the bank. We told him we would be right back. We arrived 5 mins later with cash in hand to find a be back in 10 mins sign on the front door. We waited almost 45 mins to the point my girlfriend started knocking on the door. The guy eventually came to the door. We told him we would take the first washer in the line and paid the man for it. He offered to help load it in the truck. When he took the dolly over to the washers he was loading the wrong one. When I said something to him he stated this is the one you bought. I told him no we wanted the one on the end. He refused to give us the one we asked for. The guy was very rude and lied to our faces. Just a heads up beware of doing business here.

We purchased a stack-able washer and dryer from this location 3 months ago. It worked well for the first two weeks. Ever since, we have to run the dryer 2 or 3 times to finish drying anything. We also have to manually adjust the cycles just so the washing machine will complete the cycles. When I purchased the appliances, the owner said he would knock off $20 if I left a 5 star review. I now see why he bribes his customers. Dont let the 5 star reviews fool you! We will never be back and encourage you to do the same! Do yourself a favor and spend an extra $100 or $200 for new appliances.

BAD!BAD!BAD! Only had my washing machine 2 months and it’s leaking very bad under neath.not only that it has water in it under the tub that want come out! Went to them personally and he didn’t give not a DAMN paid almost 300 dollars for this washing machine! I will not recommend nobody to go here and buy anything from this men he is money hungry and i noticed he get these washing machine and fix them his self in the back of his building NO WONDER there not any fuccn good don’t waste your money you’re better off going to a place where you know your washing machine will not break down in 2 months and leak water every where and go back to get it’s nothing he can do about it when he buy them and fix them and resale them

I have gotten 2 sets of washers dryers from him and both sets have had something wrong with them. I live in a top floor apartment and my dryer makes such a loud noise that my neighbor below me and beside me complains. I will never go back again

I was concerned after seeing some negative reviews here. I was even more worried when I asked about the return policy (90 days. Exchange only. No refund. No repair. Cash only).I couldnt resist the prices though and decided it was worth the potential risk. I bought a washer and dryer, and the next day, the dryer stopped heating. I tried to troubleshoot for weeks to make sure it wasnt something on my end. I also couldnt physically bring back the dryer because I didnt have a truck.I finally caved and called the store expecting to get the shaft. But instead, I was actually able to exchange for the same model and he even delivered the new one and took the old one away at my home. He even changed the power cable for me.

This was my worst experience ever!!! I bought a stackable washer,dyer for 350 when I finally decided to use it I realized the spin on the washer did not work.So my boyfriend took it back for me with the receipt &got another one Same exact brand. Than after that I hooked it up loaded my clothes into it it was going until it was time to spin!!Whats crazy it was a different washer! An it did the same exact thing the first 1 did, only it almost BLEW UP!!! I seen fire& sparks coming from the washer. Good thing my management maintenance was there to help me because my clothes was stuck on the inside of the machine.So this is my 3rd trip back never again
