After exhausting all the traditional furniture stores in search of a recliner, I ended up giving Farmers Home Furniture a try, with not the best of hope. I figured it would just be another futile search for a recliner that worked for my needs. I also wasnt looking forward to another high-pressured sales pitch. Imagine my delight when I lucked up on Kelly! She was helpful without being intrusive, informative without being pushy or hard selling, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. And she found just the right chair for me. Good quality,. On sale. With reasonable delivery. And with a good warranty on the chairs mechanisms and fabric. And the ladies who checked me out were equally delightful. I cant say enough good things about my shopping experience with Farmers Home Furniture. I walked out of there breathing a sigh of relief, and happy with my purchase. Need furniture? Go see Kelly, and tell her I said Hello!

Worst experience ever. Been a loyal customer for 6 years and ever since theyve changed management several times its gotten worse every time. They lie to your face and tell you they have the item in their warehouse, then after pulling your credit, they tell you that they cant get the item for months if at all this year. Then try to put the displayed item in place of the new item at full cost after we stated that we didnt and werent going to accept the displayed item. Tried to call corporate and explain but then they passed me on and hung up and ignored any calls made. They dont care about you. They only care about the sale. Very unprofessional and will never buy anything from them again.

Very friendly, we were greeted by Kelly assistant sales manager very knowledgeable was even able to tell us how the furniture was built and show us diagrams. We were definitely impressed with Kelly. After we left the store we went to two other well known furniture stores in area who where all very friendly by the way . It was Kelly’s customer service and Knowledge that stuck with us . I’m happy to say that we will be purchasing our living room set from her.

Would recommend to avoid this store. 1st we were told we were getting a chest come to find out it was not included. Had to fork out another $500. So out $2300 now. Then was told oje thing after another. Excuse after excuse. Came in for refund and was chargef $2300 instead of refunded. So we had to go back in. Thankfully we had the funds. If someone didnt then they wouldve just wiped there bank account out because no one pays attention. So now our account is out $4500 awaiting all that to be credited back. Contacted corporate and havent heard a thing. Obviously they dont care how customers are being treated.

DONT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU GOT EXTRA MONEY FOR LATE FEES AND OTHER CHARGES, THEY HAVE IT WHERE IT TAKES FOREVER TO PAY THEM BACK.THEY JUST TRIED TO REPO OUR BED FRAME AND MATRESS AND T.V ILLEGALLY WITH NO COURT ORDER OR JUDGMENT AGAINST US.YOULL REGRET SHOPPING HERE. I told the store manager I going to be in meetings all day with loan companies and pastors and Deacons and she doesnt want help me and my mom out and she wants me to sleep on the floor with a hurt back and she doesnt want to work with me and my mom and the Hixson Store needs a new store manager and a new account manager and this store needs to be shut down for good and everything and she treats her customers like me and my mom with no respect and yall better think before you rent something from her and the store manager better to watch out because all the customers is going to her in to better business bureau and jer account manager needs to watch out to and they want like it when the better business bureau give them a bad grade and the will be shut down and I will not be renting from her again and she better leave my family alone

Greeted immediately upon entrance by Kelly. Attentive customer service is good, but Kelly seemed over anxious. Could be because of the tough times we’re in. Not going to knock a star for that. I understand desperation to make a sale when times are hard. One star knocked because the styles on the floor is all that was available. No broader selection that could be ordered was offered with the exception of one style with a few options. The other star knocked because the store was uncomfortably warm. It was 84° outside, and didn’t feel discernibly cooler in the store. Perhaps their air conditioning was broken? If so, customers should be made aware. Otherwise it seems there’s a lack of concern for their shoppers’ comfort while shopping the store.

Prices were good, it was like walking into your crazy cousins basement that has appliances laying around. Got a real problem with businesses not greeting, offering assistance, or saying goodbye.. they did say you sure you gave my measuring tape back? Which they would have known I did if they helped in the first place.

My experience: these people really know customer service! Coach, the first sales rep I met was very helpful, informative, and also knew exactly what to show me based on my needs. The prices are very reasonable. The entire staff are very friendly! Ill be doing business here for years to come!!They even delivered my couch a day early and the delivery men were very polite and professional!! Huge thumbs up!! I highly recommend this place of business !! 😊😊

Of my entire 39 years on this planet, I’ve NEVER experienced customer service like with this store. My husband and I purchased close to $5,000 of furniture for our new house and it was supposed to be delivered Saturday. We waited around all day and 6pm, when the store closed, we still didn’t have a delivery. We got a phone call from the store manager, Tim, telling us there had been some issues with the drivers and he apologized profusely, then he informed us that he himself, along with our sales guy, Chase, was on their way to our house to deliver the furniture, because they didn’t want us having to keep waiting for it. So they not only came to deliver it, but they put everything together piece by piece and not once did they ever complain. They had the best attitudes and we all even laughed and had good conversations with them. These guys was still in their dress clothes, as they had worked all day and even missed dinner because of our delivery. Also, we ordered probably one of the biggest, heaviest dining room suits in the store, this thing seats 12 people.. and a huge living room suit package. Again they apologized and thanked us for our business. The people there are all friendly, the prices are fair and we will always buy our furniture from them in the future, just as we have for the last 20 years. This is a top notch company and we are so happy to have them in Hixson.

From poor furniture quality to horrible customer service, my ongoing experience here has been nothing short of a contract with the devil. Would not recommend their business based off the cheaply made furniture and inflated pricing or the entitled staff who can be quite petty over simple disagreements. Their strategies here are pretty predatory and unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and find something you actually like and could hold on to before resorting to Farmers Furniture.

Was ready to make a purchase but wont be back because of a very unprofessional sales woman named Monica. We overheard her talking bad about me to another employee after I politely asked her not to touch my newborn baby (Its flu season). Whats worse is she acted like she understood by saying she wouldnt want people doing it either. Very offended at the unprofessionalism and wont be back.

Went in and was followed around none stop. we asked the guy more than once to back off, the 1st time he was sorta relieved then all of a sudden he was right there. I got a phone call walked towards front and he actually stood within 3 feet of me the entire time. I had money to spend but I didnt buy 1 thing. alot of people I work with have said same things. they will not get any money from me
