They were quick to schedule me in. The movers were on time and courteous. They were careful with all our stuff. They didn’t rush, they took their time but were efficient. Would definitely hire them again. The price for long distance move.
Didn’t even get past the quote. Told them I was moving from Charlotte, NC to Utah. The quote they gave me was utterly ridiculous. I was quoted $17,707.50 to move! 😂 I’m not moving a 10 bedroom 30,000 sq ft mansion, just a 2 bedroom 990 sq ft townhouse! I got in touch with them about this and told them that was over $10,000 more than the most expensive quote I had received from another company and that they would need to lower that by a long long way before we could begin to talk about pricing. They emailed back within 2 minutes and said that was the best they could do with their crew wrapping and padding and unloading. Will never consider their services again.
The main office/scheduling was exceptional. The 2 men were very accurate on their arrival time. They communicated well with us the day of the move. They were careful handling our belongings, which were antiques and family treasures. We will definitely use them again. We would highly recommend them to anyone.
The Company, two trucks four men, arrived at the scheduled time. Ron, the group leader, was professional, informative, personable and all were courteous. The mens teamwork with nonstop packing and unpacking at the new address was impressive. It was a long and exhausting day for everyone! I would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck for your moving needs
The Two Men and a Truck staff were very helpful from getting a quote and scheduling, to the actual move itself. Office staff was very responsive to inquires and the crew we had was professional and hard working making both ends of the move go quickly and smoothly. They were friendly and pleasant to work with. We were very happy to have them as a crew and did an excellent job.
I was worried about moving our larger items more than i was worried about almost any other part of moving. Getting things scheduled initially was very simple and they quote range was very reasonable. The price in the end was fair. The team that came out was quick careful and honest. They did a great job protecting the items and seemed very experienced. They worked efficiently and didnt waste any time. The TV box they sell is a bit overpriced for how little protection it offers so if you have access to a better one you should just use that (though to be fair my 70 OLED survived unscathed - so perhaps i am wrong) all in all i am very happy with how things went!
Had a fantastic experience with the movers. Super nice, friendly, funny, and expedient! We were done in a matter of a couple hours and no issues. Will use again.
Have hired them twice moving in Charlotte and had a great experience both times. They were quick and easy to work with. Arrived early. Very professional. Easy to book with. Wrapped up furniture to make sure items were cared for and no damage to them. Would highly recommend. Made moving, which is normally a big pain, very seamless. Top notch.
Andres team arrived on time and worked for over 12 hours to get me move 3.5 hours away. Everything arrived in goo order. Great team!
The team, Mr. Haggins and Mr. Bolden were extremely professional and did an excellent job. If I were to rate the team on a scale of 1 to 10 they would receive a 10. They move each item with care and efficiency. If in the future when faced with moving I would personally request this team.Kindest regards,Horace Payne Jr
I just cannot say enough good things about this company! I moved to Charlotte from New Jersey - they drove up one day, packed the truck in the AM and early afternoon of the next then drove half way to Charlotte, and finally delivered my household on the third day. That said, all the office staff was very response, answered a slew of questions I sent them over a few weeks period, arrived the exact promise date/time, and delivery was also as promised. They did an excellent job wrapping my furnature and everything arrived in original condition. I suggest having them pack any large screen TVs, their box is very well padded and robust. My crew was Rob Jones and D Williams, both very experienced, and I just couldnt have been happier with my move!
Glen and Epps helped me move. They were very nice! They took care with my furniture and set everything up, just where I wanted it. I would request them again! Thanks for a good moving experience Two Men and A Truck.
Two Men and a Truck have always done a great job for my moves but this time was exceptional! My team, Rob and Wayne, arrived on time and were professional, courteous, and extremely helpful! They knew I was a bit overwhelmed with my move and helped me get extra boxes delivered and helped me pack them too! They were personable and made the move fun and handled all of my things with extreme care...not a thing broken! Just absolutely a remarkable experience! If you want movers that actually care about the customer, this company IS THE ONE to use and the cost was very affordable!Thank you Two Men and a Truck!!!
Arrived on time, great communication, very professional and quick in their work. Loading and unloading. Samuels was the best
I cant say enough great things about our crew. Sadly I cant remember the three fellas names or I would give each of them a shout out. Our crew was dynamite! They took great pride in what they were doing, great care of our belongings, and worked smart and efficiently. Per policy, they wrapped our furniture and not one piece was dmgd or scratched. They moved us from an apartment and also emptied our storage unit and moved everything into our home in 4.5 hrs which was fantastic based on how much furniture and boxes they had to move. Our experience with Two Men and a Truck was 1,000 times better than our previous experience with Hornet movers here in Charlotte! Pay the extra money for Two Men and a Truck. Worth every penny!
Friends recommended I use them for my local move and Im very pleased I made that choice. They were on time and very friendly. Once the move started it was very fast and extremely efficient. They were very careful with my belongings, and as I stated they were very professional as well as friendly. The pricing was also great. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone I know that is moving. The overall experience was exceptional.
Waste of time...I had scheduled the movers for an easy move of a 10x11 storage unit to be moved into a townhouse. No furniture to dismantle, nothing to set up. Move couldnt have been any easier. Less than 20 boxes (already packed), a small couch, a queen size bed and about 25 items that were miscellaneous, such as bags of bedding, two suitcases, a small standing shelf unit, and some 5-6 TJMaxx style bags that held miscellanies. Both my daughter and I were at the storage unit with the movers. Two men...one was very efficient, the other not so much, as he moved at a snails pace. To speed things up, as I was being charged by the hour, my daughter and I both participated in helping them move. We utilized the flat dollies available from the storage unit and I was constantly going back and forth from the storage unit to the truck with items while handing them off to one man that was primarily on the truck loading. The other man, he was taking his time slowly walking to and from the storage unit...I was lapping him and that is not an exaggeration! My daughter was in the storage unit loading us both up with the next load. This guys main purpose could not have been anything other than to waste time. Finally, everything was packed and they took off to the townhome. At most, they spent 30 minutes unloading. The slow as a sloth mover turned this simple job into a $500+ move! I will never use this Charlotte based Two Men and a Truck again. Which is a shame because Killins was great!
They made it the easiest move I have ever had. The two men that came were extremely nice professional and helpful. I can not recommend them more!
The guys that came were quick, efficient and great job done, thank you!!
Good place to deliver freight. Cristy was very nice.
I use them for my local move. They were on time and very friendly. They were very careful with my belongings, and as I stated they were very professional as well as friendly. The pricing was also great. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone I know that is moving. The overall experience was exceptional
They were wonderful! I have been using 2 men and a Truck for 17 years now. From GA to Florida, to NC & SC they are GREAT! This team was wonderful as well and very professional, careful & efficient. I felt totally confident that everything was going to be okay! They are also the BEST value out there. I compared all of the companies this is the BEST VALUE!
This was the best moving experience Ive ever had. The team was organized, efficient, friendly, and took very good care of my furniture. Every piece was wrapped in moving blankets AND plastic before being loaded. At my new apartment, they assembled the furniture, placed everything where I wanted it, and took the wrapping materials with them when they left. Will definitely use them again!
I was a bit skeptical because I dont trust businesses that have a ton of reviews from people with only 5 or less reviews. The reviews are likely real since they did a really solid job with the move here. I only needed to move a washer/dryer and under bed storage item. The 3 things that were too heavy for me to get up stairs. Was scheduled for 1pm, but they showed up at 8:50am. They called first to make sure that was fine and I did tell them whatever time they have is fine when I scheduled it first. The washer specifically was ungodly heavy. It took 4 people to lift it into a truck bed. They tried using an appliance dolly and after the first half of the stairs, it slid off the dolly. They gave up on that and THE MAD MEN CARRIED IT. Was worried one of them might get hurt because of how heavy it was (about 300lbs). Managed to get it all done with minimal damage. The floors are fine, theres some light paint damage and a small puncture in the vinyl floor in the laundry room, but lets be honest here, getting it upstairs and in the room was a battle, so no one can fault them for that. Besides, paint is a super easy fix and the vinyl punctures are minor. Only one is visible (other is under washer). I can easily say I would likely have caused some decent damage if I did it myself.I called about 7 moving companies to try and get the lowest price because I only needed 3 things moved and didnt want to spend $300+ just for that, but turns out EVERY place charges at least 2 hours of work, even if its 30 minutes. They do this because its the only business model that allows them to make a profit on the one hour jobs like this, so understand that you will likely pay at least $250 anywhere you go for a mover. Even ones I found on a random site that said $90 an hour had a base service fee on top of that. It would have cost me $130 to buy my own appliance dolly and no one had any to rent so I just paid the extra bit. I would use them again and pay the same price.A huge issue some people have with moving companies is they expect 0 scuffs and such. Floor damage is a big issue or like holes in walls or broken expensive items, but a wall scuff or paint damage when moving 300lb items? If thats an issue for anyone trying to get a moving service, youre better off calling god to move it for you. My house is literally brand new so I can tell every tiny scuff that has happened and its all well within acceptable for moving something like that. Honestly surprised theres not more. A little paint and a little bit of work on that laundry room vinyl and you wouldnt know the washer and dryer was moved in already.
Very disappointed. My husband advised the movers that our heavy marble desk, that we have had for only one year, required both of them to move it. That did not happen. One guy took it upon himself to flip it over in order to take the legs off. He broke it.We have since contacted them as they only offered $75 given we did not purchase theextra insurance that the presented to my husband when they arrived. Its interesting how it was completely their fault, and they refuse to provide us fair compensation. Very disappointing. While a much lessor monetary loss, but a sentimental loss, was a snow globe that they poorly wrapped causing it to break and leak over a lamp shade as well as break an artificial planter. While this wasnt expensive like our marble desk, it had personal meaning and showed another poor decision by THEIR movers. In regards to the extra insurance, their pre move email also states the following: Damages: Although our Movers will be as careful as possible, from time to time damages may occur. If damage is caused by our service, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® reserves the right to repair the damage(s) in question. If we determine that a damage cannot be repaired, we reserve the right to either replace or compensate (Actual Cash Value) for the damage. As business owners we understand the importance of taking care of our customers and righting a wrong. I hope they reconsider and do the right thing.
Spent an hour and a half talking to someone on the phone just to be told that they couldnt do it the day I needed them to move. Total lack of professionalism from their part.
The guys from Two Men and a Truck were fantastic in getting our furniture moved. They were very efficient and careful and friendly. Definitely recommend them to get the job done.
This is the second time I’ve used to be in the truck service from the Charlotte North Carolina office and both crews were remarkably excellent…!I asked for the first crew for this move again and while they didn’t show up because they got caught up on a previous job earlier in the day…the second crew headed up by Brewster and his two crew members Ryan and Joshua was easily as conscientious and even faster if that’s possible… :-)They handled everything in our home as if it were their own… :-)I can recommend The Charlotte “two men and a truck” group without reservation!Les and Arlene Goins
I have now used Two Men and a Truck twice this year. Both times exceeded my expectations. The first move at the beginning of the year was in NC and was actually done by Three Men and a Truck -- needed an extra mover due to this size of the move. I expected the move to take half a day and cost an arm and a leg. The team knocked out my move very quickly and it came in right at the lower end of the cost estimate. This most recent move in SC was a bit smaller and was a move to a storage facility. The movers were extremely professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The move went lightning fast and it was raining to boot. This move came in just under the time estimate of 2 hours. I had expected 3.The process is so easy. Both times I requested a quote online and within minutes I had a price range emailed to me. Soon thereafter a move coordinator reached out to lock in my moving date/time.Id recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone needing to move from house to house, from a small apt to storage unit and everything in between.
Antonio and Miles (Movers) were on time and got immediately to work loading my belongings onto the truck. They were professional, had a pleasant demeanor, and attentive and responsive to all of my specific requests while they worked. I definitely liked how they were meticulous in making sure my furniture was wrapped, padded, and secured in their truck. I also have a king size bed with a canopy which they disassembled, carefully moved, and reassembled at my new residence.Fantastic job. Would definitely recommend.
Great job to the guys on move day!!
I would choose no other moving company...Two Men and a Truck is the best. They are professional, on point, and quick movers. I was amazed how quickly they got me moved in! Ardrey and Israel were the best moving team I have ever used! thank you guys! 5 Stars All Around!
I have used Two Men and a Truck about 4 times and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a positive moving experience
We were very pleased with the performance delivered by Mr. Filmore and Mr. Haywood. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make our move a seamless process. Their long term employee status speaks volumes as it relates to their commitment and dedication to the firm.
All movers were very polite and professional. They were efficient and careful with all the furniture and surroundings. Their price was a lot lower than the quote I got from a different mover. I had a great experience with them and will highly recommend it.
This is my third move with Two Men and a Truck and I cant explain how seamless and effortless they make moving. Great communication, always on time, and a professional move. Ive not yet had one thing damaged in the move, they figure out how to get large furniture through small doors, and are fast, professional, and courteous. During a pandemic, I cant thank Two Men and a Truck enough for handling everything the right way! Will always use them!
They arrived early- moved quickly and moved all my things out and into my new place 2 hours away, all within about 6 or 7 hours!
What an easy move! I say that, because I wasnt the one having to haul very heavy furniture up an extra long flight of stairs on a scorching day. Our movers (Hines & Byrd) called ahead of time, showed up on time, were thorough, professional, and very kind. We have another local move in six-months, well definitely call Two Men again! - Thanks guys!
Two Men and a Truck did an excellent job on my move again. I first used them for an interstate move 10 years ago, so I was confident that they would do a good job at a fair price on my recent interstate move. I recommend them to anyone who is considering a move, whether it is local or long distance.
The guys did a great job. They did the move pretty quickly and took great care of our furniture and possessions, wrapping everything carefully and cautiously. I was impressed and you can trust these guys. The owner personally came himself as well and they did an outstanding job. Thanks!!!
Jones, Mayes, and Payton were outstanding. Move went great. They are really hard working men. Everything was great, came out with a few broken glasses, however; that was my fault for not packing correctly. They were professional and very kind. Worked so hard. Will highly recommend to anyone moving. Great team!
Misters Brown and Tucker did an excellent job taking care of our move. They were punctual, efficient in administrative business, and very hardworking. A move that was scheduled to take longer ended up being only 3/4 the time, and every piece of our belongings was cared for, and placed exactly where we wished it to be. I would definitely recommend Two Men and Truck, and specifically, Messrs. Brown and Tucker. Thanks so much!
Professional staff, thats very attentive to the client. Thumbs up and will definitely recommend them. Good job!
I suggest using another company ...one that is trustworthy and cares. Not only did they lose a sofa, they soaked a very expensive mattress and lost other parts. Plus, they seemed to have little regard ..oh well, 60 cents a pound is what we pay ......cant recommend them......
Awesome moving service! Movers were very nice, took great care in protecting items, and moved fast to get the job done! Great price for such a professional service.
Really impressed with Two Men and a Truck for our move! They arrived super fast, worked even faster and were exceptionally attentive to the items we moved. I was very impressed and they did everything they could to save us both time and cost. I would absolutely use Two Men and a Truck again for my next move!
We have used TMT in the past and have always had a great experience. Last week Sam and Nick packed and moved us from Pineville, NC to Harrisburg, NC. They were prompt, efficient, experienced and friendly and it was a pleasure having them manage our move. Our experience with these two men was so positive they easily changed our impression of TMT from GREAT to EXCEPTIONAL.
Our family needed help moving very old heavy furniture from upstairs to downstairs. Then do it all again with new to us furniture upstairs. My husband has a heart condition and so this great company helped us a great deal. This is not your average mover. Thank you so much to the 2 great employees Schultz & Dorsett for their great attitudes and hard work.
They were more expensive than All My Sons but SOOOOOO much better. They took longer but gave us a correct quote and it took exactly the amount of time they quoted and it came in under the amount of money they quoted. Much more honest and up front about what to expect. All My Sons also stopped in the middle of the move they did for me and made me pay before they even knew how long it was going to take them. Two Men and a Truck is the way to go. Not very much more money but astronomically higher quality. Will use again and recommend.
We had another great experience with Two Men and a Truck. They showed up early and got to work right away. Brown, Tucker, and Deblado were true professionals. They took great care of our furniture and made sure I was happy with the placement at the new residence. They didnt even take a break. We would definitely use them again!!!
This was my 17th move. Retired military member who has seen dozens of crews and moved by some of the biggest names in the moving indistry. This crew was by far one of the best ever. Polite, positive energetic attitude and attention to detail in the care in which they moved our furniture. Mr Samuals, Mr Plummer, Mr Thomas, and Mr Joseph are the crew you should want to move your most cherished belongings. Mary Ellen Sheets herself would want this crew to move her personal furniture. I couldnt be happier with my move.
Had a great experience with the team. Administrative team was very responsive and able to schedule me with only 48 hrs notice. The moving team was actually able to get to me early after wrapping up their prior job quickly and everything went smoothly. They were friendly, professional, careful with my things and finished on time. You get what you pay for and Id highly recommend them based on my experience!
These guys were great! Hardworking and respectful.
My brother works there and it seems to be a professional place with good prices
Our moving team was very polite, helpful and very fast! Anthony and Michael were a great team, and they treated us and our belongings with care and attention. I would recommend this crew to anybody!
Great experience with an extremely professional moving company! I would definitely recommend this company and work with them again!
We have used Two men and a truck to move our home furniture. From the reservation till the end of their service they have been very professional and effective . They show up on time, they took care of each peace of furniture and invoiced exactly what they predicted. I definitely recommend them
Two Men and a Truck were efficient and professional. The moving team was well prepared with door stops, blankets and wrapping paper to cover my appliances and furniture. The team lead answered my questions in detail. Hooked up my washer and dryer without even asking at the new place. Initial quote was for 6 hours; real-time was 3 hours. The move ended up being half-price! Cant beat the service and professionalism of everyone I interacted with at Two Men and a Truck. I will be recommending this company to my family and friends for future moves.
I was professionally packed & moved into my 1br apt, by Hilldrup 2 years ago (flawless, fast experience). To move out, Two Men and A Truck of Charlotte gave a quote of $500 less than Hilldrup, so I went with them this time. Bad move. They arrived the first morning to pack. I had to repeatedly ask the lead to wear his mask, and he gave much attitude. Three hours later, the living room and kitchen were packed (I had no dining room furniture), but in the bedroom, only my clothing and shoes had been packed. I asked the lead about packing the rest of my bedroom & the bathroom, he said they ran out of boxes & would do it tomorrow. The lead did the paperwork and I paid over $875 for a partially packed apartment. I tipped all 3 and they left. The same lead and the low energy guy returned at 9am the next morning to complete the job. When I opened the door, I greeted the lead with a cheerful “Good Morning”, to which he grunted. I asked him, “Are you happy to be here this morning?” His answer was, “No, not really.” Trust me, it showed through the rest of the day. They worked in slow motion, with the lead asking multiple times, “Do you want this to go?” and again saying to him, “Everything is mine and it all goes, I started taking down wall shelves, packing shelf contents in my own boxes to hurry this along. After 7 hours, when they said they were finished, they had never packed anything in my bathroom, and there were still several items left in the bedroom closet. Then he said that they said they can’t move the medium sized boxes that I packed on my own, because they werent their boxes, so I was left with an entire kitchen island counter covered with my own boxes, that I would have to move myself. As I drove to the new house to meet them, I got a call from a guy at their office stating they were sending additional help to unload, because the move was taking too long. Two additional movers arrived, who had pep in their step, as well as seeming to be relatively happy with their job. This seemed to inspire the other two to move a little faster, and since the lead seemed to know them, they all were joking around as they worked. Although there was a lot of cursing with the joking, I was just happy progress was being made. At some point in the unload, the lead told me the one of the movers is retarded, and closer to the end of the unload, the lead asked me if I had any liquor because they were getting on is nerves. I was shocked, and I didnt give him any alcohol. 10 hours later, the lead came to me to do the paperwork, and charged me $145 per hour, plus an additional $145 for their initial arrival, and money for extra boxes. He tried to get me to agree that it took so long because of how far my apartment was from the freight elevator, as if he was coaching me on what to say when the office followed up on my experience. I didnt say anything, I just signed all of the papers, paid over $1600 additional. My originally quoted range for the pack and move was between $1866-2156. I paid approximately $2500, and tips. Ive since discovered that the entire side of my mattress was filthy from being slid, and they didnt use packing blankets for furniture, so there were many dents and broken knobs. The next day, I called & explained the experience, & my dissatisfaction with being grossly overcharged, and not having my entire move completed. She apologized said they would return me $290. I confirmed that was for two hours of wasted time that I paid for, and said I would like 2 additional hours refunded to compensate me for the time it would take to complete the move and the cost of my materials. She offered to have movers go over to complete the pack and move on Monday. I reminded her that the day at hand was Friday, and we are speaking about bathroom personal items that I needed immediately, because I had to go back to work. I sent an email to the corporate office, which was sent to the same franchise, and I received a reply saying they will not do anything more. At the time of this review, it has been 3 weeks, I never heard from them again.
I have used the location on Trailer Drive in Charlotte, NC twice, and recommended them to family and friends. Scheduling is easy and teams show on time. Workers are professional, careful with your valuables, and friendly. And they work HARD. They went 100% for my full move. I will always choose Two Men & A Truck!
Mr. Brown and Mr. Tucker were consummate professionals! They took great care of my belongings, they were friendly and efficient, they were very invested in making sure I was happy with the placement of my furniture in the new space. I could not have asked for a more seemless move. I am very grateful.
Had a very bad experience while communicating with the Move Coordinator. I wanted them to take care of all disassembling and reassembling of the item and also take care of fragile items like TV. I made it very clear to the Move Coordinator what I was expecting from them but never got a straight answer. I was trying to avoid any last min surprises hence was sending the list of item I had and what services I was expecting from them. But yesterday she responded - Im getting extremely confused because you went ahead and scheduled and gave an inventory. Are you needing to cancel it and have the estimate re-done? .The inventory she is referring to is the detail I put in while asking for a quote, just to get an idea. I also multiple time explained it to her.
I used this company and they were on time, very helpful, and accommodating. They were one of the cheapest company to help me move. I really appreciate their help on a short notice.
You can not beat the quality of service for a move that you get from Two Men and a Truck. I have moved multiple times and used their services. I made the mistake one time of using someone else and my items were damaged and I was not happy. Never again did I do that. All of their staff is professional but friendly and everything is always taken care of with utmost care! They are the best!
Good value, hard workers and they really take care of your things. The workers dont stop until job is completed so you get everything you pay for in the shortest time possible. Only use them and have for years
We just used Two Men and a Truck last week to move from our previous home into our new one. They are the best movers Ive ever had the pleasure of working with, Christy was great at pricing and scheduling two trucks and five guys to make it as stressfree as possible.Filmore was the lead man, he was awesome at handling our property, asking questions and exceeding expectations. Haywood, Zeke and others took great care of our possessions and our homes. It was a very long day- 14 hours and never a single complaint from any of their staff. As a business owner I can tell when guys give full effort and care about the end result, the process was positive from the first call to the end of the move. Great job and keep up the great work!!
These guys helped us with our move and were AWESOME. They were fast, took wonderful care of our belongings, and the price was very very reasonable. A couple few hundred bucks to move a large home across town...pretty darn good. Awesome experience, I would recommend them to anyone.
Very responsive, courteous, and efficient. I would use again and would highly recommend
Two Men and a Truck were a blessing to my family. Jones, Garner and Artist took great care with our items and had wonderful personalities. It was a rainy day on moving day but the team never stopped working and went above and beyond to protect our items from the rain. I would most definitely recommend Two Men and a Truck!!!!!
The guys were nice but they didnt use care in packing my belongings. pictures thrown in without being wrapped. two of very special pictures were scratched and a lamp shade was thrown on a box with all heavy items and came out broken and crushed. i asked them to label what was in the box instead of just the room and that seemed too hard to have them do. i now have to dig thru numerous boxes to find anything. my belongings werent treated treated with care and unfortunately the damage isnt large but it is going to cost me to replace framing and lampshades. I havent gotten to all the boxes and i expect ill see the lack of care in other boxes. so disappointed and i will most definitely NOT recommend Two Men to anyone!!!
We moved our 92 year old mother to a 55 and over community the team was amazing!! Punctual and professional!! Wrapped her furniture so good not one scratch!! Definitely will use them in the future!!
We have used this group 3-4 times in the last 4 months. We must have had the cream of the crop because they were nothing less than fantastic! They were fast, courteous, and extremely helpful. We have been very successful in their services and would absolutely use them again for any packing and/or move we had. I personally highly recommend them to anyone needing their services in the future.
Amaz, Martinez, and Turner could not have been better. They worked well together as a team and with my husband. They were early, polite, friendly, and never stopped working. This is my first experience with this company, my husbands second. Wonderful experience!
Recently my daughter hired Two Men and a Truck in Charlotte for a short move of her one-bedroom apartment. It was a disaster! They broke her flat screen TV and a large lamp in the move. The move was only 0.6 miles and from one apartment to another, with no stairs or bad weather. The worthless insurance option chosen only covered about $35 for the TV. The negligence of the “Men” was total obvious, as the move was so small and so short. One would think that nearly every household move they make will include a TV and that the professionally trained movers would be able to handle that task at minimum. The shop manager offered to increase the insurance coverage to $100 (wow!) to compensate for the damage. In summary, the $650 move plus the $1000 replacement value of the broken items, and then the $100 reimbursement – the move cost $1550 for a one-bedroom apartment. There was no acceptance of responsibility for the damage by the management and no offer to compensate more than 10% of the value of our loss. I was the worst example of customer service I have ever experienced and I will never recommend this company ever again. If you do choose to use them, the insurance is worthless.
The movers was great. I lived in a two bedroom apartment and they got me completely moved into my new apartment in less the 4 hours. They saved me so much time.
The movers arrived about 10 minutes before their expected arrival. The men ( Ardrey, Brisbon, Deblado) have great personalities, and were extremely professional. They kept me informed throughout the entire loading/unloading process and I’m grateful for the flexibility and willingness to be sure we moved everything efficiently and quickly.
2 men and a truck were great. You can tell their teams are experienced and hard working. Everything went just as I expected. Would recommend and use them again.
We used Two Men and a Truck to move some bedroom furniture and never received a reminder call. In addition, they ended up trying to stack nightstands on top of each other which resulted in damage to one of the nightstands and chipped a wall. They also propped my storm door open and left it propped open and left. I couldn’t figure how to close it so they had to come back out and now it’s squeaks. This was a pretty straightforward move with basically five pieces of furniture and given the issues I’m extremely disappointed that we paid almost $400 and now have a broken piece of furniture as a result. They did schedule a furniture repair man to come out and possibly fix the broken nightstands but he only is available on Wednesdays. Considering his availability is only 1 day a week, it’s very inconvenient and adds to the overall poor customer experience.
The guys on the truck did a great job. My problem, which I believe is systemic to the industry, is the quoted price is never the actual price. Although TMT are reputable, there are many like Fly moving that are not. Be cautious, and take nothing for granted.
I have used them twice. Both times they were super professional and quick. Will definitely use them again.
I was asked if I needed boxes and told them I did. They never brought them despite multiple people saying they would all day of my move. First it was the movers who would bring them, then someone from the office was supposed to with a 2 hour eta. When that didn’t happen, I talked to a manager who apologized and promised the boxes, but still never got anyone to bring them. With all of this runaround and lying I will never move with them again.Update: Upon seeing my review, the director of marketing reached out to me and offered an apology and a credit for my trouble. I appreciate that and hope my moving experience was just a fluke.
We were relocating for work, and our moving team, Fillmore and Haywood were awesome! I highly these two guys!
I wish i can give ZERO stars but it wont let me post. while the movers were good guys (nothing against them), the back office was the absolute worst customer service i ever experienced and would not wish on my worst enemy. the truck had a mechanical issue and wouldnt crank. it took them almost an hour & a half to get to someone else on site, and shop and truck yard is only 15 min away. they also tried to charge me for all of the extra time switching over from their junk truck to a new one (i only had 3 large items to move). they told me they called a tow company and said the tow company told them it would be 45 min wait, that was an in your face lie, they never called until hours later that day. due to that, their truck blocked me in my driveway for over 11 hours (almost 8 hours after the movers had left and 9 hours from when they said they called), so i was stuck at an empty house all day and couldnt leave. They only called me twice, once to try to overcharge me several hours later after they dropped off the items (and that was almost 3 hrs from time they said they called and it would take 45 min for tow), the second call was after almost 10+ hours of wait, just to tell me the tow truck was on the way. i had already received that call from the tow company as i personally had to followed up with tow company myself (could not trust them) so i already knew that fact. i called their office multiple times that day, and they didnt seem to want to help at all, said id have to wait, and would not own up to their falsehood. They had two Op Mgrs on duty, and both neglected to call that morning, and one of them is the one that lied to me in my face saying they called and the tow company said 45 min, and continued the falsehood that they called after i inquired later as to who at the tow company said this, and hours before they actually called, stating they could not remember who told them 45 min. That is unacceptable. When i tried to get satisfaction and justice over my lost time waiting and absolute neglect of caring and helping the customer by requesting a refund of what they did charge me, their quality assurance dept would NEVER call me to discuss this matter. He avoided to call or help or settle the actual grievance i had placed. Their replacement truck that morning damaged my yard by driving on it, and he seem to think that would fix the issue, and he felt it fair that i didnt get charged for all the hours they stated that took to move. I took this egregious action all the way up to the owner, the final reply from him was he sided with his mgmt team and said since i received services i still had to pay, even though it was negotiated down a few hours, i had to pay to be left in my yard and lied to and neglected all day. They would not consider my time and suffering worth anything, even after being abandoned at my house, blocked in and not able to leave, and horrible customer service and lack of care. They only care about the bottom line and themselves. i wont use this company ever again, and will continue to seek concessions and refund whether by social media assistance, the media, or whomever I need in order to get a full refund. My hope is to warn other so they wont have to experience this horrible customer service care ever as I will never promote to use them. it says movers who care as their motto and on their truck, and the moving guys on site did a good job, but the office, managers, quality assurance dept, and owner does not care about you, and will hang you out to dry if things go bad! Given the chance, they will overcharge you and neglect you as you, the customer, do not matter to them at all except for their financial benefit at your cost. Shame!
Tripp helped me with coordinating the packing. I called and he came same day to quote. They got the job done in one day. Thats 19 pallets loaded and wrapped in one day. Thanks so much for your help and response time.
This is the third time we have used Two Men and a Truck for our moves and we continue to be very pleased with their service. From scheduling our move with Celicia to the movers who came (Amaz, Pegram, Rodney and Hollar), everyone was very professional and knowledge. The movers took great care of our belongings and we had nothing damaged or broken. Due to their hard work, the move took less time than anticipated which meant less cost for us. We will never use anyone else! Great job!
Guys were awesome! As with any move we had some ‘bumps’ along the way but our guys just rolled with it and made it seem like no big deal! We would definitely use again!!
They were very quick for my move, but they did not practice as much care to boxes marked fragile as youd imagine.
I had an awesome experience. Both men were amazing and professional. They need a raise!!!
If you are moving, dont waist your time doing it call the experts TWO MEN AND A TRUCK!! they will make your move easier!!
Great company!! I highly recommend!! They handle business in a very professional manner
I loved these guys. They were fast and efficient. They were all about business while interjecting personality which is important when spending a few hours with people. They were respectful and courteous. They took good care of my furniture. This was one of my best moves of twelve ever. Did I say they were cute too? Would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone.
This was the worse move ever with Two Men and Truck. We have used them many times, this time our property was damaged and I was cursed out by one of the movers. The company was more worried about being paid for there service than our needs. They charged me full price, didnt offer anything for this treatment. Good Luck if you use them for your move.
This was my mom and I first time asking for help with moving and I was not disappointed. Ray Brown, Threah (Threatt?), and Fields were on time, fast, and professional/personable. They made our moving experience as smooth as possible. I would recommend them to anyone and definitely use this location again.
Two Men and a Truck provided amazing service. Rita arranged my move with the utmost professionalism. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. My movers, James and Steve, were awesome as well! They were friendly and took care with my furniture. They moved so fast and were very professional. I would definitely recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone that is ready to move. A great moving company!
Fantastic moving experience! All of our stuff was moved quickly and carefully by three very polite movers. They got the job done so fast the bill was $200 less than the quote. Highly recommend and plan to use again.
From customer service (Celicia) who provided the quote to the actual movers (Brewster (sorry if I spelled wrong) and Stewart), I am extremely satisfied with the quality of service I had received. Celicia stated my quote was guaranteed once I confirmed to move forward with it, and there would be no hidden/surprise fees upon the moving date, unless there were unforeseen circumstances on my end which were understandable. The movers Brewster and Stewart were extremely efficient and moved at a solid pace without any delay. They were polite and professional. Due their hard work, my move was extremely easy. Because we had less items than anticipated on top of finishing within one hour, our quote was adjusted and I ended up paying less than i was originally quoted.I will definitely be using Two Men and a Truck again during my next move and highly recommend them. They are worth the cost!!Pre-moving advice:1.) Do an honest count of all your items and how many boxes youll have. They will ask this during the initial quote so I would make a list of everything that needs to be moved to get an accurate quote.2.) Pack everything neatly and nicely taped up and ready for move (its the least you can do since theyll be the ones doing the heavy lifting.)3.) Tip!!! Even if its what theyre being paid to do, the work is hard esp if youre moving to a place where theres a lot of stairs.
Two Men and a Truck helped me move in record time. I don’t think I’ve ever moved that fast in my entire life. They were extremely professional and all of them were really nice guys and they all worked really hard. I’d definitely recommend them!
I could not have asked for a better team. The office staff was great about scheduling but honestly its the movers who are shaping the company image and doing the truly hard and thankless work. What a great hardworking group!! Eli, Preston and Chance out of the Cornelius location were truly awesome! They were friendly, communicative and so patient. By the end of a long, rainy 10 1/2 hour day they were still just as patient and awesome. They take a physically and mentally exhaustive task and try to lift that burden from you. Best guys ever!!
