This shop is set up for efficiency and customer comfort/satisfaction. And it is as clean as my living room. The staff is second to none - courteous and accommodating. I could get my truck serviced in my hometown and save myself the hour drive but you leave Moses knowing it was worth the trip.
Exceptional service, especially by customer service representative Greg, whose always taken care of my vehicle above and beyond, and is always very professional, courteous and polite. And the service costs (oil change) are very reasonable.
My sister in law just purchased a vehicle from this company, and just seeing how they have lied to her, and led her on I know that I could never do business here. If you are thinking about buying here I would urge you to not take their word for anything, or have a record of the lies they tell you just to make a sale. If they promise to fix something, or deliver a vehicle to you after the purchase be cautious.

I’m a little upset about how they treated us compared to the other people who came in. We were told on the phone one thing, and after a four hour drive, Lance….who we had to call the dealership for the name because he had never even offered to introduce himself….told us something else. They never took any of info they told us to bring in. It was as though they were more focused on the people who didn’t look like they had just come off of 12 hour shifts like we did and just wanted us to leave. We felt very ostracized and unwelcome. I left feeling more sad about how much they catered the couple behind us but rushed us to get us to leave than not getting to trade my car in.

I brought my 2020 GMC Terrain in for the first oil change. The oil was over filled by at least 1/2 Qt. The washer reservoir was not filled. So much for good service. I’m doubting that I will return……
My family and I were making a trip from Ohio to South Carolina when we started experiencing transmission problems on a 2019 Buick Enclave so we stopped to try to get some help at the service department. Talked to the guy who sits at the first desk inside the garage was completely rude and blew me off and offered no help, thank goodness I was traveling with a GM car salesman who called his dealership and they set me up with a dealership when we get to our destination. I do not recommend this dealership or their service department. I will definitely be calling GM on the poor treatment of this customer.
Great experience! My sales rep (Jared Hoylman) communicated well and stayed on top of all issues. They did not have the car that I wanted on the lot but located it quickly. Love my new Acadia.
Had my car in for diagnosing a problem with my engine and they told me my turbo was bad. Two days later they say piston rings are bad and turbo is fine. Took them four days to look at compression on my cylinders. Not to pleased with the service. I will say that most of the employees are very nice and helpful.
I brought my 2002 Buick Rendezvous in without an appointment as the car died and would not restart. The car did start at the shop then later the problem recurred. No code was identified and the car started fine in the shop. So the problem was an intermittent problem that could not be tracked down. The mechanic was careful not to throw parts at the problem which I appreciated. I drove the car home after a week. And I bought a new battery, new side posts to start with along with a portable jump start system. So far so good. The shop made a good effort on an old car which I appreciate.
They were a very pleasant team. They handled my service and waived the diagnostic fee due to me using Moses to get the job done. That was great because diagnostic can be pricey

I got ripped off $1000 bucks because my rotors were bad and they wouldnt pass my inspection without replacing them. The rotors were fine I just needed new break pads.
Wanted to update my review...Moses had me bring back my vehicle and the director apologized for the technicians behavior. They treated me really good and even gave me a loaner for the day. I know we all make mistakes. I am appreciative that they owned up for the mistake rather than just ignoring it.There was a noise my car was making. I took it in the shop and the service tech did something but did not fix the problem. I went back in and talked to the service advisor and he apologized immediately and said he would get the service tech. The service tech came out and very abruptly started telling me he couldn’t hear the noise. I told him it is making it now if he could look at it. He started rudely saying I have too much stuff in my door. I asked for the service director because I have felt with him previously on a misunderstanding on my part about charges previously.I had gum in the side of my door that was not making any noise, but if I did really have my door stuffed with things why would you even make that statement. That shows customer service is lacking.When Jason the service director came out I asked him if he could take a ride with me to listen to my car. Which he graciously said yes. We drove down the street so he could hear the noise. He could hear it as it made it anytime there was a bump or uneven road. He told me to bring it back in the following week because they didn’t have time to dedicate to it this week. Jason said he would ride with the tech to figure out the issue.Today I got a survey and I gave them a one. It was followed up with a reply that said they were sorry I could only give them a one out of 5. The tech is deaf in one ear.Original post.....I hate the tech is deaf, but does that give the tech the right to be rude and say I have too many things in my door.The service tech Jackie was so great and always is. I would give him the highest grade possible.I would give Jason the director a high score, even though the techs represent him.The service tech has cause me to give a low score. People should not be mistreated. Customer service was lacking tremendously and no real apology was given to me other than saying sorry the tech is deaf. So I’m guessing it’s my fault and I should have chosen a vehicle or a brand that would have never had problems. I wish there were more GMC service centers in our state that really treated a customer like they are a top priority. I work in a hospital and the customer is our top priority. Guess that’s not the same at Moses.
I was very upset that my vehicle sat on your property nearly a week before and estimate was even completed and it took me contacting my insurance to call the body shop before anything was done. They had the estimate that evening talk about frustrating. Then no one ever contacted me to give me any updates whatsoever on my vehicle I had to call and ask and every time I called they acted like I was annoying them etc. my vehicle was in your possession for a month!!! All while I was being told it would be done a certain date and it was pushed back four times!

I had an incident with certain people that would not help me getting my down payment on a car back for 3 weeks. I tried contacting multiple people about it and finally a man named David fields was able to assist me in the return of my money.
The only issue is that it seemed to take too long. 1 1/2 hours for oil change and tire rotation is too long.

While traveling through Charleston, my transmission failed. Moses scheduled to diagnose the problem at 8:30 the following morning. Once they confirmed it was the transmission they were able to replace it by 2:30 that same day. I would highly recommend Moses service department.

Jacob Skinner worked very hard finding a truck that was very close to exactly what I wanted. I am sorry thAt he got sick before we finalized the deal, but Lance stepped in and provided the help we needed. The only problem was a day later the check engine light came on in the truck. Again, Moses came through and made an quick appointment to check it out.
The salesman (Tim) was nice, friendly and helpful. The problem is my brand new GMC Sierra broke down 12 hours after I got it home with 70 miles on it. It broke down on a Saturday at 4pm. When I called, “Derek” said I could not get a loaner until Monday, so I was stranded at home for the weekend after paying 40k for a vehicle.

I’ve had over $6500 in repairs at the dealership, several warranty issues (oil leak, exhaust, windshield wipers, o2 sensors, etc.) and over $3,000 in repairs from other car repair companies. The GMC should not be called professional grade unless it means you spend a significant amount of time using rental car companies, dealing with GM, etc.

Worst sales experience I’ve ever had. Even had them run credit for nothing since Jacob had us assuming he had confirmed numbers with manager. What’s the point of a salesman if not going to be held accountable. Ended up trying to finance 2000$ over what’s was agreed upon. Beware if you go to make sure numbers are truly from management before wasting time!!

Fast and efficient
Went there for an inspection sticker and oil change, was charged for the labor and received a rejected sticker because of the vehicles tires. There was no courtesy warning before stripping the old inspection sticker off my vehicle which is the last thing you do after performing the inspection. It takes a few seconds to check the tires which should be the first thing you do during the inspection because of how fast and easy it is to check them. But i was charged for the labor of the inspection. They should had stopped the inspection after seeing that the tires needed replaced which would have been a few seconds into the inspection. There was no reason to have charged me 11 dollars and then ripping my sticker out of my window. They didnt have to do that, they could have let me know first. Now there just trying to hide behind saying that its the law and they have to do that. Thats baloney. I know thats convenient because it helps there business because your more apt to buy tires from them. well i refused tires and took the rejected sticker out of my window and went somewhere else the next day and got a inspection sticker with those very same tires on my vehicle, then turned around and bought some tires cheaper somewhere else. But the difference is not that the tires were cheaper but i have as much time as i need to put them on whenever Im good and ready and not have to worry about a inspection sticker.

When I first bought the car, it was nothing but a great experience. However, receiving assistance after buying the car was like pulling teeth. When I made the deal, it was listed that the mirrors would be replaced with new ones, as the paint had been completely stripped off of them. I had the choice of replacing the mirrors or receiving money off. I chose the mirrors. After a month, I drive from Morgantown to get them replaced, and they are a completely different color. I drive back a week later and finally have them replaced, but the dealer kept telling me that Moses is paying for this to be done. No, it was part of the deal so I technically paid for mirror caps to be painted. Now, a month later, my car has broken down on the side of the road in a different state. The engine, ABS, and other lights appeared on my dash as my car is shaking down the road. 4 months after buying my car, it will be a costly repair according to the garage. It wont go up hills, wont go faster than 40 MPH, and shakes like nothing I have ever seen; therefore it is not drivable. The manager (Dave) and salesman were nice, but the entire operation is just a mess. Lets just say I am ashamed to have the Moses sticker on the back of my car and would recommend somewhere else from now on.
Drove from NC to look at a 2017 Sierra with 20,000 miles on it. Upon arriving I see the beautiful white Sierra sitting in the lot. Truck looked mint inside and out. Just so happened I looked underneath and nothing but rust. Looked like it had been stranded on myrtle beach for months. Funny thing is they had it priced like it was in great condition. The salesmen has the balls to say “oh that can be pressure washed off.” I see it’s not on the website anymore so I hate to see someone took the bait. Beware of this place.

They went the extra mile and had numerous technicians take a ride in my car to pin point exactly what the problem was. I also want to thank the two courtesy drivers.. My 2012 GMC Terrain is the first vehicle bought from Moses. The service there is excellent! I am not really too happy with the Terrain and its too soon to trade but wouldnt hesitate to buy another make vehicle there since I have been treated professionally and no problems with the service department. They have been wonderful. This is important to me and will keep all this in mind when time to purchase another one. I definitely recommend Moses.

Brother in law bought a new car in Dec. 9 mths. later passed away, Moses said they would buy the car back since it only had 1300 miles on it - just $9000 less!!! I understand making a profit, but a $9000 profit on a deceased mans family?Extremely disappointed.

Purchased a car there at a reasonable price, but by the time the warranty stuff was over. It wasnt a great deal anymore. I bit the bullet and purchased anyway since we were expecting a baby, I needed the coverage. Salesman even promised to get something off the baby registry, but he never did. Only thing to improve my ranking for them now is the service shop. With great warranty services, it may just be worth it...

I purchased my first brand new vehicle in April 2014. The salesman and finance department were both amazingly helpful. I absolutely love my 2014 GMC Terrain. In the 3 months I have had it, I have already put 6,000 miles on it so it required the first maintenance. I easily scheduled the maintenance online, received a reminder phone call and when I dropped it off I was very pleased with the staff. They gave me a ride to my work and confirmed when it was done. I was surprised to find a shiny clean vehicle when I picked it up as well!! Very pleased with Moses Downtown!!!! I highly recommend!!
