I was well take care of purchasing from Baker Motor Company. Will and Stephen were very patient with my wife and I, while we decided of the purchase was right for us. We were not negatively pressured into anything and I greatly appreciate that. We were treated as if we would be someone purchasing a new luxury vehicle, that was twice as expensive. It really made me feel like a valued customer even though my purchase was far from a Land Rover Defender. Had a great experience last weekend buying a car with my wife from Will Calhoun and his team at Baker.I have purchased vehicles from a few different dealerships in the Charleston area and its usually just terrible. (Pushy sales reps, managers only caring about bottom line, numbers constantly changing). So I did not have the highest hopes when we arrived at the lot to inquire about a used vehicle that wasnt even a Mercedes.However, from the moment we arrived the entire team was extremely helpful and courteous to us both. They worked with us on a fair price and made it super easy. In fact, it was so quick that we were out of the lot with the new car after about 3 hours.Thank you Will and team for a great purchase experience!

I will never go to baker mercedes again I traded my mercedes for a lexus because bakers is so money hungry, they tried to charge me for a service I got done in Texas, then they checked it was at a certified dealership, then all the sudden I didnt need the service 😑never again

Cornelius is an excellent employee!My girlfriend was in the market for a newer vehicle, and after going to several local dealerships and test-driving many different vehicles, she came back here. Cornelius (salesman) and Steven (sales manager?) were both super helpful and friendly. Cornelius did a fantastic job of making her feel comfortable, and made sure she got what she wanted. Worst experience ever. I inquired online about a vehicle. i received a return call but they would not offer any information on the vehicle or in terms of the pricing or anything over the phone. i did more research online, called back the next day and tried to make an offer on the vehicle over the phone. i was told that a representative would get back to me in two to three days if i could not come in the dealership today. They would not even discuss an offer over the phone. i understand they want to get you into a dealership but my time and money is valuable to me and i did not want to waste it without some idea of the pricing range on the vehicle. I am searching for a vehicle and have had pleasant experiences with several other dealerships in the Charleston area. Not only was my experience with Baker awful, it was so far worse than the other 3 dealerships i have dealt with in this process in Charleston, that i am surprised that they ever sell anything. My advice is find any other dealership that values your time and money; because Baker automotive has no idea of customer service and clearly was not interested in selling a vehicle.
