No one wants to go to an auto body shop but if you have to get your car fixed, then take your car here! They are friendly, professional, and client-focused. Its hard to find the customer is always right mentality anymore, but this place has it!

Very friendly and professional service. Waited on as soon as I arrived, performed the estimate on my car, and I was out of there in 30 minutes. Have used them for all repairs on automobiles of my entire family for many, many years, actually since their shop was in downtown Charleston before they moved to James Island. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

A+ Personalized Service and Excellent Work!!! Throughout the entire process, I was kept in the loop as to what was going on with my vehicle. From estimated repair time, to other vendor partners being used (thank you Charleston Wagen Worx - love you guys!!!), there was never a lapse in communication. I worked with Jude primarily, and he couldnt have been more pleasant. Everyone in the front office was super-helpful if I had questions but was unable to connect with Jude at that particular moment. The work done to my vehicle was outstanding - it was like nothing had ever happened to it! My mom was looking for an auto body shop to fix my car. Since she is from outside of the area she looked for the place with the best ratings. This auto body shop came up as one of the best so she decided to make a call and take it in the next day. She came back later that day with the car not fixed. They had told her my suspension was messed up and they would have to fix that. I had just got the suspension fixed and my mom did not know that. She asked for me to come with her because the guy who she had talked to was condescending to her. I took my car in with her a couple days later. When we got inside the building and I started talking to the guy, he instantly did not seem like he wanted to help. After looking at my car he said that it would cost 3000 dollars to fix my car. 3000 dollars is an insane amount to replace a fender and front bumper. He said there was no way he could just replace the fender without having to replace the front bumper and side skirt of the car. There was a small piece missing from the bumper and the skirt was perfectly intact with no scratches or dents. ALL IN ALL. The guy was very condescending and did not want to help fix my car from the start. The guy seemed very judgmental and I really did not appreciate that. I would HIGHLY recommend taking your car to another place to get fixed.

I would highly recommend this repair shop. Vince was extremely professional and called frequently with updates. The repairs were completed on time and looked better than new. If I need another repair, I will definitely be back! Thanks again!

Vince of Louie and Sons is awesome!!! My car trunk was busted and would not lock. I estimated it would take 3 days to fix and I would have to rent a car likely. I drove up ... Vince helped me and other exceptional staff -they replaced the trunk lock mechanism which was bent and broken and did it in about 2 hours. They were the paragon for efficiency and profound value. I’m sure if I took it to the bmw dealer it would cost 5 x as much. I’m not exaggerating. And it would have meant making an appointment 4 days later for a 2 day repair. Their customer service was exceptional. 5 stars no doubt. Thank you Vince.

I went into this body shop to have my truck repaired. When I went in I was kindly greeted but a gentlemen who told me the fellow who would be handling my estimate. I already had a check from the insurance company and was fully prepared to let these guys handle my repair, he really didn’t have to do anything to gain my business. When the salesman approached me immediately and very rudely asked me how quit I needed my vehicle repaired and that they couldn’t get to it for a while. Not a hello, a handshake or thank for choosing us to handle your trucks repair. Hey man, this is customer 101, I surely hope you don’t work on commission because you need to work on your skill. I like and took my vehicle to a body shop that acted like they wanted my business.

I found this business by chance when I needed to get my bumper repaired. They were helpful and quick about giving me an estimate. The price quoted was in line with others. Their location was most convenient, so I chose them to do the repairs. I messed up my days - brought my car in a day later than scheduled! Instead on canceling the appointment they were kind and worked with me on the new later day. Not only that - the work was perfect. They were finished a full day earlier than I expected and were over $100 less than the estimate. Not only that- they vacuumed and cleaned my car before I picked it up. I truly cant say enough good things about Louis and Sons. The staff was excellent, the work was excellent and they far exceeded my expectations. I would highly reccomend them to anyone. **side note :) they did say they arent always early and most definitely dont always come in under their estimate but, it just happened that way this time. For which I am so thankful!

I never write reviews but had to for this body shop. Superior customer service and operational expertise. Ive experienced similar customer service and satisfaction levels once every 10 years. Had what looked to be relatively minor damage to the front of my car. Big collision shop quoted $3,000 to fix. Saw Louie & Sons had positive reviews on Google. Took my car in without an appointment and they fixed it in 30 minutes for a ridiculously low amount. Unbelievable. Thanks to Vincent, the mechanic who fixed my car, and all the folks at Louie and Sons. If I ever need body work again they will be the first to know.

Had a door replaced on my 2016 jetta due to someone denting it. Not only did Louie and Sons mess it up, I went back literally 6 times in order for them to put the door on right, and it is still not right, i just gave up. The door is so crooked it barely shuts and they also messed up the electronics in my door. Terrible service they have absolutely no idea what they are doing

He was very accommodating and upfront. He got me in the next day when other places told me it was at least a 2 week wait time! Great work, but if you have a fast car take it elsewhere. 150 miles since the repair and had to check my diff oil, while under the car I notice the tread on my tires is gone, while my front tires have full tread. Someone said they saw my car driving around when it was at their shop, another person said they heard it and it sounded like you were hauling a$$. My transmission is now vibrating. Burning my tires off and now repairing my transmission will cost more than the PDR and panel I had them paint. Good work but they cost even more money. Will not recommend.

Some of the best customer service that Ive experienced anywhere. Louie & Sons was recommended to me by three separate people and Im glad that I listened. The quote was less than half of Caliber Collision. Jude walked me through the entire repair process and made everything simple. They went above & beyond to make my vehicle look better than it did before the accident. Nothing but great things to say about Louie & Sons, definitely recommended.

My experience with Louie and Sons was one of the best I’ve ever had! My passenger mirror was damaged when I hit it with a mailbox! The dealership quoted me almost $700 to repair and I paid less than half of that here! When I came into to get the mirror repaired I was in and out in 20 minutes - I even got a call two days later from Vince to see how everything was going! 10 out of 10 recommend for anyone looking for a new repair shop!!!

After not having had an accident in years, I managed to have one in September, then in December a deer came out of no where and took out my passenger side fender, headlight, side view mirror and part of the door. These folks needed no appointment for an estimate, took the car quickly and expertly repaired it - both times. They are courteous and flexible. Jude the manager was extremely rude and hung up on me because of problems with insurance and how they cancelled a check that was sent to them. I will not be using Louis and sons for any reason other than poor professional performance. I am a customer who’s truck was supposed to fixed a month ago and he hung up on me rudely because he was frustrated. Very disappointed

I had a large dent in the side of my truck from where a lady hit me. I took my truck in and was able to be put on the schedule that day. I dropped my truck off and got it back a day ahead of schedule and 400 under the quote. The whole time I was updated on any changes and was extremely impressed with the work when I got it back. The truck looked amazing and had been nicely cleaned.

Incredible customer service! I went to have a new drivers side mirror (that I had purchased and brought with me) put on the car and receive an estimate on some other work that needed to be completed. They made the estimate and did not charge me for replacing the mirror! I will definitely be calling them next week to schedule the repairs, such kind people!

Louie ans Sons did great job repairing the front end of our car and it runs perfectly - but an error message eventually appeared. Unfortunately our dealer failed to find the source on 2 visits. On the 3rd they said a part needed to be replaced and it was out of warranty now over a year since the accident. at a cost over $2000. Justin took the initiative to go to, our insurance company and persuaded them to fully cover the replacement. This is going above and beyond. Great service!

Louie and Sons worked on my car when I got hit down the whole drivers-side of my car. I cant even tell it was ever hit! They did a great job! They also had it done faster then what I thought it would be. They were very friendly, and I felt like they really wanted to make sure I was 100% happy with it. I have been recommending them to anyone and everyone since then. This past week they worked on my grandfathers vehicle when I recommended him there. He is a hard person to impress but he was very impressed by their facility and knowledgeable staff .

Louie and Sons are amazing. I was in an accident on Dec 12th, 2018 and lets just say USAA was not playing nice even though their insured admitted full liability. Vince at Louie and Sons went above and beyond to make sure my car was repaired and repaired with quality parts and not the junkyard parts the insurance company was trying to bully them into using. Vince went to bat for me, kept me in the loop and even worked with the rental car company to make sure the insurance company did the ethically and morally right thing. Had an SUV body panel repaired by Louie and sons and it looked pretty good but in the sun you can tell which panel was repainted. Still its holding up well. I brought a 2nd car by to get an estimate on a similar body panel repair /repaint and Louie and Sons quoted me almost $1000. I ended up taking it to Express Paint in Summerville and they only charged me $325 - work looks great too. Not saying Louie and Sons are bad but they apparently dont like doing minor repairs - Dont expect them to be affordable on small jobs.

Came in for work on my 2013 Camaro. Paint work was subpar with bubbles in it. They tried to buff it out but there was no pigment below the bubble so now I have small unpainted specks on my bumper. Additionally they didnt pull the light bezels off so theres obvious paint build up around the tail lights. They repaired the door and The door is misaligned with the car and the window is off so bad that it leaks when ever it rains. Also the windows pops a bit when you open the door. There also a seem that runs along the door opening on the quarter panel that shouldnt be there. Rocker panel that runs along the bottom of the car is also misaligned. I also asked that they remove the emblems from the car they pulled the fender emblems and left the back ones on. They failed at everything I paid them to do to the car. Now Im left exactly where I was when I found them with a messed up rear bumper and passenger door only a few thousand dollars poorer.

Just picked up my Honda CRV that was wrecked July 20th. Louie & Son did a beautiful job on making it new again. I highly recommend them. I am very happy !!!

It was the owner of Peter’s Shoe Repair who turned me on to Louie and Sons’ Body Shop, the first time someone slammed into my Infiniti. He said that they could fix damage as if it never was. Within walking distance to my house, not only was it convenient but they did what he said again, and then again, and one more time, recently. My sweet car just needed some TLC and touch up paint for those scrapes created from coming in too close to a curb and too far forward in a parking garage. Bravo!The staff is always caring and accommodating and I hated to see their previous adjuster go, but this time was so pleased to see that the “new guy” was another vehicular scholar and gentleman. Hey Jude…that be you! And my car thanks you, too. I tell people that it is like me, still classy, still looking good, but just needs a little cosmetic care.
