Me and my spouse recently purchased a used vehicle from here, for our growing family and had a decent experience with the purchase of a 2013 Chevy Equinox. On the other hand, I can say hands down it has been the worst headache and most stressful experience we have had. While we only spent $12,000 on a pre-owned SUV, you would expect to have little to no mechanical/electrical issues within the first 6 months of owning it. 2 months after purchasing it, we went in for routine maintenance and minor repairs (headlight). We left confident and satisfied unknowingly leaving without inspecting it. We got home and noticed the headlight was still not working. We called and got it serviced again. Not even a month later, the same issue occurred and were scratching our heads as to why we keep having this particular problem. Fast forward to today, we are now having engine complications. Me and my spouse are at a loss and are not getting anywhere. Last time I spoke with the manager about the headlight, we got told that they would only take care of the diagnosis and if any repairs needed to be done, it would be out of our pocket, which is completely absurd considering we just spent $12,000 on this vehicle. Now that we are having this issue, I’m concerned and at a loss that anything will be made right! So if you are willing to spend a decent amount of money on a pre-owned vehicle, BUYER BEWARE.

I totalled my car on Sept 21st, and of course had to get a rental. Due to everything going on, and me not having rental coverage with my insurance policy I had to pay out of pocket for the rental car. 2 weeks had gone by, and my previous car had still not been credited the payment on the claim. My finance company on the totalled car was not going to give me a good deal so I began to look elsewhere. Fiancés brother bought a Chevy SUV from here and not even 3 months later is having engine problems. His engine kept misfiring whilst in the middle of transporting his two kids home to their mother, causing them to pull over turn the car off non stop and to be afraid to drive his vehicle. After contacting management they have told him they can’t help since it’s been a duration of time since he bought the vehicle. BUYER BEWARE. Wish I could put a 0 star

Here I am just making my 3rd payment with no car. No way to get my kids to school or myself to work. I thought I’d purchased a great vehicle 2 months in the car isn’t running. It was our first time trading in our old vehicle towards a new car and my girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere our the dealership. After purchasing a vehicle from Sullivan park hill I was in and out of the service department of Toyota 4 times left without a vehicle for days at a time I tried reaching out to them several times and they just blew me off after spending over 30,000 at there dealership I now am trading a new vehicle in at another dealership and buying another vehicle. from there lack of support and customer service after the purchase I will never be shopping there again. While buying the vehicle they asked me to leave a review and I’m glad I waited a few months to see how they actually treat customers after the purchase buyers beware and wait a few weeks to write a review I get we all get excited about a new vehicle and expect it to operate as intended but when it’s it doesn’t there true colors show

They knew I was waiting, Jim reminded them, but they went to lunch before providing me any service.Jim pressed his coworkers to help me BEFORE he found out my credit score was 800+ and I made good money. I appreciate his customer service and integrity in that matter. If it were just him I was rating, hed get 5 stars with no issue!There was an attempt to sell me a loaner that reeked of cigarette smoke. I couldnt even finish a test drive. Jims coworkers offered to air it out so I could pick it up the next day. Jim wouldnt have that. He went out of his way to find another vehicle.A lot of poor service was given that Jim worked hard to intervene with. I believe they were shocked that someone in my demographic would have good credit and money. Jim, on the other hand, provided personalized, excellent service from start to finish.

Disappointed with both sales and service. They did not return messages so I bought my vehicle elsewhere. Brought it in for service and they fixed the AC O ring twice, once under warranty, once out of warranty, that time in the dead of winter while it was in for a different issue and had not complained about the AC. Original issue was not fixed, nor was the AC as I discovered when it warmed up months later. Told me that the engine light might go off by itself.

Called on a new Chevy 2500 HD.Spoke with salesman Brian told him up front my details bout buying the truck from St Louis and using the GM Employee discount. All was good and I needed to fill out the credit app to proceed with the purchase. About 15 mins later I then get a call back after my credit has been ran that they will not accept the discount because of the vehicle shortage. Now i was very up front with him about using it, I was told due to being outta state and the nature of the high demand vehicle that this dealership doesnt accept it. I then speak with Andrew who explained it has nothing to do with being out of state that it is solely based on the high demand truck and that Facebook groups he follows are doing the same thing not taking the GM Discount. I wouldnt recommend this dealer to do business with as the salesmen didnt know what discount are offered or are not. I also feel its a slap in the face to all GM workers that get the discount but cant use it at this dealership on a high demand truck. In all my credit was ran and hurt by the ping on it but the dealership still goes on. I would recommend looking at other dealerships.......

Drove from Central Indiana to look at a used car I had been trying to buy but are super popular so they sold fast. They had it pulled up and ready to test drive when we got there. Dale was down to business and I appreciated that. Didnt try any of the annoying car dealer talk that we had experienced elsewhere in Champaign at another dealership. He was a tough negotiator but he was fair. He got things done in a timely manner (we needed to be back on the road asap) and was nice to work with. He even found our garage door opener in our trade-in after we left and mailed it out the same day. I would drive 1.5 hours to them again if they had our next car. Very nice and honest dealership to work with.

I took my Chevy Cruze about a week ago to Sullivan-Parkhill for a diagnosis. They call me the same day telling me that there is no problem with my car and that it drives fine. Even though my engine light was on, car hesitated to accelerate, would lunge forward when I’m at a complete stop at a stop light, and my locks would lock and unlock by themselves with warning signs showing all of the digital dashboard.So I take it to another dealership, and they noticed it right off the bat. The problem was I needed a new transmission module, and the rate it was currently at, they said I’m lucky I got it in when I did, because it was only a matter of time it could’ve caused a major accident.Don’t typically leave reviews, but since my life was at stake, I figured I would.

Bought my car in 2019 here and also paid thousands dollars for maintenance,luxcare protection and extended warranty. When my car got problem which It is from manufacturer issue I believe so. Everything got changed and not the exactly the same with the sales man told me. It is absolutely not worth to buy any service package from this dealer.

I found the perfect car for myself on the website, and was able to get a good deal on it. Once I got partially through the purchase the salesman Brian W verified that a recall had been fixed, and when it wasn’t, Brian and the SP team went the extra mile to make sure the car doesn’t have any permanent damage from the recall not being addressed by the previous owner. They explained everything to me and got me a loaner car until the car could be fully checked. Even if I’m unable to get the car I wanted, I will still recommend their business as they clearly put the customer first (even after you pull off the lot!)!

Have called twice in the past to weeks to try and get my truck in for service. First time, I was put on hold and after awhile the Secretary came back on and asked for my number to have a service manager call me back. Well, a week went by and I didn’t hear anything. I called again and was put on hold again. This time after being on hold for so long I got tired of waiting and hung up. If you guys are really that busy, that’s great for you! But either way, I guess I’ll just call the next dealership and take my business elsewhere. I expected better customer service from a dealership with such great reviews.

I have never been to a dealership like this before. I bought a car last year and was dreading it. But when we went to Sullivan Parkhill - they blew me away. My husband and I looked around their whole lot and no one came out and tried to sell us on anything. When we had decided on a vehicle to test drive, we went inside and asked if we could test drive a car. We had the most amazing salesman, John, who answered all our questions and patiently assisted us with test driving multiple vehicles. We had such a great experience, my husband ended up upgrading his truck there too! We were never pressured into anything - in fact we had to ask them to go ahead and pull our credit so we could begin the buying process!To top it all off, i took my new car in to Sullivan Parkhill last week for an oil change and had the same experience! Everyone was so kind, they kept me updated on how it was going, and when they ended up having to replace the lug nuts due to a different mechanic’s mistake - they didn’t charge me! Even when they found other things that needed replaced, everything was very fast and reasonably priced! I’ve worked in the lending/finance industry for 8 years and I will never go to another dealership. I cannot say enough good things about this place and recommend them to everyone I know who’s car shopping (and I always tell them to ask for John)!

My truck was worse when it came out then when it went in had to jump start it to get it started,pretty sure they swicthed the battery never have i ever needed a jump start.took it in because it ran rough and the brakes they changed all the parts for the steering pump which was not one of the problems that cost 891.07 plus i was charged 2 times for a hose for steering one was 54.55 the other was 258.00 again was not the problem. The brakes they changed every part that could be changed on the brakes the brakes still go to the floor unless you keep pumping them, and now i have no brake lights, but i had them before i took it. All together was charged 4972.13 To have it come back worse then it went in. Oh and they had it from 3/04/21 to 4/8/21 over a month to make it worse than before.

Spoke with BRIAN MIXELL previously in 2020 right before the xmas holiday about a transmission in my 16 chevrolet silverado 1500Got the quote over the phone like the number $5,300 ended up following through right after the holiday 1/11/20 contacted Brian again set it up for the truck to be dropped off the following morning 9:45am 1/12/20 Brian himself told me the transmission was there at the dealer and I could possibly have my transmission installed by the end of the day he then later that afternoon called me to notify me the transmission was not there and he had the tech already torn my truck down then ol BRIAN MIXELL turns into a ghost...so now 10hrs from home I have no truck for my wife and three kids and no real eta of a delivery sad way to treat a paying customerWord of mouth travels far

Im 17 and I recently bought my first car from Sullivan-Parkhill. I had a wonderful experience here and would gladly come back. Since both of my parents bought their cars from Sullivan-Parkhill, I figured I would check out their inventory first. I selected a few cars from their website that were in my price range and came to look at them. I worked with the salesman Shaun, who was amazing. At the time of me purchasing the car, he was a very new employee at Sullivan-Parkhill, but he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone here was very honest and they told me about any known issues with the cars I was looking at. I ended up picking out a used Honda Accord and they were nice enough to give me a pair of brand new tires included with the car, and free installation and balancing of the tires and an alignment! I really appreciate how much they prioritized getting my car upgraded and repaired - the whole process only took 4 days (and 2 of those days were spent waiting for the tires to arrive). Overall, I had a wonderful experience here and would gladly come back. I highly recommend Sullivan-Parkhill and Shaun.
