Excellent service! The issue I had was a gash in the tailgate of my 2015 F-150. The people were helpful, polite, and professional. Throughout the process, I was kept informed. Doing a repair instead of a replacement saved a significant amount of money. The job was done to perfection! I cannot detect where the damage was. The work was done quickly, as I turned it in one day and got it back the next. And my truck came back spotless, inside and out (unexpected bonus)!

I crashed my 2015 dodge charger srt8 back in August. My insurance recommended that I send it there. I wasnt suppose to get my car back for a most 2 weeks. Not only did I get my car back in 9 days, you couldnt even tell I had been in a wreck. Great experience and definitely recommended going here

Theyre the designated repair shop in Champaign Urbana for GEICOs Xpress Repair, so I brought my car there to fix the dents on my bumper. All the staff are super nice and professional, and the work is done within 24 hours. They even cleaned my car inside out. One of the best car repair experiences Ive had.

Last weekend I was in a car accident at the fault of the other driver. Gerber got me in the next morning (Monday) and I had my car back the next day! They replaced the bumper and repaired dents. Outside of that they left my car in AMAZING condition! The in and outside of my car was so clean when I picked it up I was blown away. Gabe and all the staff there were so friendly, understanding, helpful, and transparent. They kept up great communication throughout the process. It made it all such a relief after the stress of being in the accident. I highly recommend Gerber and to work with Gabe! I will be returning to them whenever I need work done!

They went out of their way to accommodate my situation. After getting my car repaired I later found out my horn didnt work. I didnt know what caused it but it might have been the accident. I took my car back and they repaired my horn for no charge though they could have easily said it was not related to the accident.

When I called the listed number for a windshield replacement, I was told by the person who eventually answered the phone that they dont service the Champaign area for windshield replacements, despite it being listed as an offered service.

Ive been using their services for years now. Seems my car has a magnet for people that just love to hit the driver side while my car is stationary. Never have to dread giving them a call for a repair. Kim is in charge of the phone lines and computer and is always very personable. Brent is a good man who knows what he is talking about and is always willing to listen to any whims or work-a rounds one might want to get the job done. I would definitely use them in the coming years, if I happen to need a repair or advice.

It was the rule of twos for me: The repairs took nearly twice as long as originally estimated (two weeks to nearly four), the repair costs were nearly twice as much as as originally estimated (thank goodness for insurance), and the valuation of my car was more than twice the market value (my car should have been totaled with the actual repair cost). Regardless of these issues, I think the repair work was adequate for hail damage. The good news was that my car was thoroughly cleaned on the inside.

I was just coming through here for a claim estimate. And the people there were OK. Definitely nothing to write home about, but overall a positive experience from my quick visit.Friends though did not recommend them for their work and execution of repairs. In fact, when the name came up, people quickly recommended I go anywhere else.

Gerber Collision was thorough and efficient repairing my Honda Civic. I came in for small repairs on my rear bumper from being hit while parked. They found that there was previous damage to my bumper that was not repaired but instead covered with a layer of mud and paint (may be from the dealership). I was driving for 8 months with a damaged bumper and impact bar without a clue. So thankful that Gerber caught it and replaced everything. Additionally, I brought my car in on a Monday and it was supposed to be ready Wednesday afternoon. I was able to pick it up on Tuesday. Awesome!

Great place to get your car repaired!

Had minor bumper damage repaired there. Car looked great after the repair, but some of the finish peeled off 3 months later. They fixed it and privided a rental while they had my car. Great service!

The receptionist is very friendly and polite. She did a very good job. However, their technicians and new manager are not.My car door was damaged in an accident (door only), and everything was working properly. But when they have done the door, and I got my car (they had delayed more than a week), the srs airbag light appeared on the dashboard. I brought the car back to ask them. The manager immediately responded that we had to bring the car to the dealer to check because they did not have a machine to check. I have followed the words of this manager. I had to bring my car to a dealer and pay for the diagnostic. As a result, the sensor is located on the right rear side, where they have repaired the door, damaged. When I brought the returned paper back to Gerber, the manager only relied on the resulting paper and stated that they were not responsible for the error. They blame the sensor for being damaged in my accident. The manager said that, because I paid for myself, during the repair process, if there was damage, I had to pay. They have damaged my car and denied responsibility for it. They fix the door very well, but damage the sensor on my car. And I have to bear that fault completely. The manager says as if they fix the door and only care about it and take responsibility for it, every other detail whether relevant or not in the car they do not care about. I feel so angry and warm.

I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone, actually Ill do the complete opposite. They have had my vehicle for 3 weeks now and are not very fast about getting the work done. The only pleasant experience is dealing with Terri however when shes out of the office the other employee Kim is rude. Its gotten to the point that I am now sitting at the shop refusing to leave without my vehicle. The completion date was due last Monday today is Friday. I will be telling my insurance company to not use these people ever again.

Our car was damaged to the point that one shop wouldnt even look at it. Gabe at Gerber Collision said they could fix it, and, because we were private pay, he really worked to keep the costs down. Looks and runs great. Couldnt be happier.

If I could give a negative star, I would. Took my car in when a branch fell on the door panel and caused a large dent. Gerber didnt fix the dent completely and had new huge scratches on my roof and small clear coat scratches on my hood. I know accidents sometimes happen, so I said, just fix it right for me and I will be happy. Took it back again...Dent on door panel was fixed, scratches were gone but then 3 new dents and new scratches were on my roof! Every time it went in, it came back with new damage!!! That should never happen!! I am completely unhappy with Gerbers work.

I wrecked my truck on i74 the Friday before Thanksgiving! I assumed it was going to be a total loss. But these guys did a fantastic job repairing the truck using only OEM parts; and it looks & drives like new. The communication was great. Nearly every Friday I got a phone call about the status of my truck; what parts were on order; and the expected complete date. They also worked directly with StateFarm so all I had to do was make a couple easy phone calls and pay my deductible.Big plus for lifetime warranty of all workmanship & paint! Im from out of state and they really took care of me well.

I had three small accidents in one week (!) - rear-ended and such. Gerber dealt with two insurance companies, brought me rental car, and did great job three working days earlier than promised. I could not imagine a better customer service and dont understand angry people who irresponsibly give Gerber one star rating without a shadow of explanation.

Google reviews are not accurate for this place. Visit carwise website. I dont know why many google reviewers left bad reviews. I had a very pleasant experience with Gerber while using Geico ARX. They finished the repairs 1 week ahead of scheduled time. People I dealt with were very helpful. There were a lot of repairs on car worth 2-3 weeks time. They look 99% well done. Will drop by this place again to get the remaining 1% (minor issues) taken care of as a part of their guarantee program.

They take their time, but they certainly do an excellent job.

My experience with them was terrible, and I would not recommend them to ANYBODY. They were supposed to fix all of the damage to my car after I was hit by another driver. When I came to pick up my car, it would not start (this had never been an issue before) and the door handle of the door that got hit in the accident was still detached. My alignment was off and my car was swerving, and my brakes were starting to give out. The left turn signal glowed constantly, and the automatic door locks were broken. All of this was damage addressed to them before they got it in the shop. Basically, I was without a car for two and a half weeks only to be given it back in terrible condition. I called and talked to the manager, but he was very defensive and unhelpful. I am now waiting on my insurance company to come and reassess the car.
