I actually went through 5D for a few different things now, and they’ve been nothing but incredibly professional, fast, and effective at what they do. They have a solid team and have a pretty good turnover for work needing to be done. I highly recommend them. They’re a little expensive but, this is certainly a case of “you get what you pay for.”The first time they did work on my car. They fixed my bumper after someone ran into me. They were able to fix the bumper to a “like new” appearance without replacing it, and completely repainted it. The paint matched perfectly, to the point that you can’t tell it was ever repainted, and the holes completely disappeared and you would never be able to tell it was repaired.The second time, they did some personal project stuff for my car. They painted the window louvers, the side scoops, and the chin spoiler, that I wanted to install on my car. The paint, of course, matched perfectly. There was a flaw in one of the pieces unfortunately, but they repainted it free of charge with no arguments, the minute I pointed it out, and returned it to me the very next day. They also installed the parts for me after i decided that they would be able to install them faster and more accurate than I could have on my own. They did a fantastic job, perfect install.I will definitely be returning to them in the future with any and all paint, fix, or install needs that I may need doing.

We needed a rear fender on our Lexus. The work was very nicely done and it is impossible to detect that there has been a repair. When I had a question about the new sensors, 5D was very willing to go over the sensors with me. I really liked their friendly and cooperative manner. This is the second time we have had excellent service at 5D.

This is the third car (and the third Honda Del Sol!) Ive had 5th Dimension work on -- I wouldnt (willingly) go anywhere else. They do fabulous work, as seen in the photos of my photon-mobile.

I went to 5th Dimension to have my Outback smooshed rear passenger door repaired on the advice of Serra Subaru. Kelly, Brandon and Shane were all wonderful to work with. They were super helpful, professional and omg so good at repair/painting work. This place is the best for sure. Super talented and nice people. My Outback looks brand new, they faded the paint in and you cant tell it has been repaired at all. PLUS when I picked up my vehicle it was so beautiful and clean INSIDE and OUTSIDE! What a great surprise that was. I would give them a perfect 10 stars if I could.

Just picked up my car which had collision damage. From start to finish the 5th Dimension team was very helpful and professional. Kelly worked with the insurance company and arranged for the rental car pickup and return. Shane and other staff did an awesome job on the repair and even wiped down and vacuumed the inside (I have two dogs so that was no easy job)! Brandon completed the estimate the same day I came in and it only took them a couple of days to complete the work. Recommend them 100%

Fifth Dimension went above and beyond for us from the start when we called about getting a quote. After running over a hit deer, the underside of our vehicle was damaged and beyond what any car wash could do to have it cleaned to its original condition. They put our van on the lift to complete the quote so that we were able to get an accurate cost of what it would take to repair the damage and have it cleaned. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly and were very friendly throughout the entire process. The repairs were completed as discussed and our van was returned in exceptional condition. Highly recommend!

Having used Fifth Dimension previously, we trusted its team of professionals in undertaking a sizable renovation of our 29-year-old vehicle that required extensive work (painting, new trim/bumper, removal of dings, molding, replacement of headlamps/tail lamps, and much more). I had the pleasure of working with Shane when I took my car in to get an estimate for some body work. He took a look at it and wanted to clean up the bumper first before he gave me the estimate. He was completely honest and kind throughout the entire process and explained that he was able to clean off most of the damage and the work he did was amazing. I have gone to Fifth Dimension with my 1997 Ford E-150; my 2003 Chevy Impala; my 2012 Ford Explorer, and I’ve recommended this business to my Son who has a 2018 Maxima, and one other associate. Every time without fail, we all have been treated like shareholders. They are courteous, prompt, reasonable, professional, no nonsense, and their prices were without comparison the best I found, And I shop with a magnifying glass and tweezers, plus I will hold a dollar bill until George Washington sticks his tongue out. Every time I went to Fifth Dimension it was no need for me to go anywhere else. They Do cars like the Colonel does chicken. In fact because of their superior quality and prices, I’m getting ready to take my daughter’s 2010 Dodge Journey Sxt for service without any reservations whatsoever. Don’t take my word for it. Shop the rest and compare them to the BEST- FIFTH DIMENSION AUTO BODY! Eating at Subway isn’t the only way to have a fat wallet, and when they shine the shoes, they pop the rag!

I cannot recommend this place enough! I was frustrated after calling a few other repair shops and speaking with some people who were rude and dismissive on the phone. Shane at Fifth Dimension was very patient and respectful, and said I could bring my car in that week to be looked at. I brought my car in and sat in their nice waiting area. Just a little while later, Shane & Brandon said my car was done and they werent going to charge me for the visit! Being a graduate student living off of loans, I am so appreciative of this gesture, and will be taking my car here if I have any other issues in the future.

The work performed was never on level of service I received from Fifth. I chose Fifth through my insurance carrier and I am glad I did. My SUV needed service due to someone hitting it while parked. I also had them to repair a ricochet hole in the passenger side door. When I received my car back I was wowed. My car looked exactly how it was when I bought it. You could not tell there was ever any damage. The one thing I worried about was the color, they even matched it perfectly. Fifth did not charge me a penny over estimation and for that I am thankful. Fifth had my SUV done on the day the said they would too. Fifth absolutely when above and beyond by cleaning my SUV I could of cried I was so happy it was beautiful again!!😭I am a very happy customer. I will be a return customer for any collision needs. This shop was incredibly competitive on price and did an excellent job with PDR work on my Jaguar. You cannot tell there was a dent in the first place. They accidentally snapped a valve stem while filling up my tires and immediately offered to fix it free of charge and gave me a loaner vehicle. Had to go in again to get the Tpms sensor reprogrammed but that’s to the fault of my car being European. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs work on their vehicles.

Well 5D did it again! We took our 2021 Yukon Denali to 5th Dimension in Urbana to have the chrome delete done along with a Black & Blue Color Match. The Yukon was brand new and already looked amazing but the 5 D team was able to transform the amazing into stunning in just a few weeks. The amount of detail and care to each item that was paint matched for this project are too many to list so I will let the pictures speak for themselves. 5D has completed 3 vehicle paint to match projects for us over the past 3 years and also repaired damages to our company truck. No matter what the job is 5D will make sure it is perfect and we will not take our vehicles anywhere else.Review From First Project in 2018: Most people only visit a collision repair shop after a accident to have their vehicle repaired. Well I took my 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 to 5D for some paint to match accessories, mirrors, fenders, and bumpers and I was beyond impressed with the outcome! The quote was worked up quickly and very easy to understand. My vehicle was taking in the following day and from there through the next 2 weeks I was almost in daily contact with their team adding additional items to the scope of work and was never left without a quick response. I visited the shop twice during the 2 weeks of painting and accessories being installed and everything I wanted done was perfect! 5D can do it all from collisions repairs to one off one of a kind upgrades. If you want your vehicle to stand apart from the rest on the road 5D is the only place to go. Believe me if you see my truck pass you on the road you will know exactly where it was done at.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Did not address any mechanical issues I paid for, yet charged full estimate. My parents also had to send their trick back to Champaign to remove overspray, they were very unhappy also, but forgot to mention to me until afterwards

Great body shop! Not only was the car finished in a timely manner they dealt with the insurance company for the extra repairs that were needed.

Fifth Dimension repaired my truck after it was hit. The staff made the process seamless from start to finish - including working with my insurance company. I dropped my truck off after hours on a Sunday night, and it was done by Wednesday evening. When I picked it up, the outside was washed and inside was cleaner than when I dropped it off! Id highly recommend Fifth Dimension for any repair needs.

They were able to get me in within a few days of the accident for my repair without even seeing the vehicle first. Rare to encounter such great service! I’m traveling north from Florida to work in Wisconsin handling storm damage insurance claims. My custom mobile office needed repair to access rear door. As I passed through town rushing north they managed to quickly work me into the schedule, access the situation and provide an immediate workable solution to get me on the road again. You couldn’t go wrong with this place. It’s the real deal!!

Anyone who knows me realizes that I don’t say this very often, but I honestly just couldn’t be any more impressed. This is a seriously top-notch operation and they have worked long and hard to earn a *very* highly-esteemed and well-deserved reputation. Sure, I suppose you could take a chance on the other places if you want, but the thing is, I really like my car and don’t have time to deal with problems, so I would never even consider going anywhere else.

We live in Washington State and bought a car in Indianapolis, IN. We flew out to Indianapolis to drive the car home. We had problems outside of Champagne, IL and had to call a tow truck. We had no idea where to take the car, it is a classic car and we needed someone who knew about old cars and how to work on them. We were taken to 5th Dimension, and we couldnt have been directed to a better shop. It is an excellent shop, the work Scott did was top notch. He has a friendly staff who are accommodating in every way. We tell everyone we meet that this is a business that we recommend to all. We would give them more than 5 stars if it was possible. I have gone to 5th Dimensions on 2 occasions. The first time was for a small repair the work was performed correctly and on time. The second time was for a large scratch on my vehicle. I was quoted about 7 days to repair it took about 12 days. This was too long to be without my truck. This last time I scheduled a time for my bumper to be repainted. I was quoted one cost which was high but ok. Then I got there and was told blending of my bumper was not included in the quote. To do the blending was another $400. To match a bumper to the rest of the car typically requires some blending which was discussed with the painter at the time of the initial quote. To me a deal is the deal. So poor scheduling and quoting is unacceptable. So place me in the lost customer column. I hope your experience is better than mine.

Scott Miller and the rest of the crew at Fifth Dimension are all top-notch. Very honest and high-quality workmanship. They repaired my 1973 Corvettes chipped front tip and straightened the metal CORVETTE letters on the back perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Took my car in for extensive hail damage, I asked for an additional estimate on a tiny rust spot about the size of a quarter that had just showed up a few days before bringing my car in. I dropped my car off for the insurance work to begin and never heard anything back about the side estimate. I received an email saying that my car had corrosion warranty and that the manufacturer would make it right. I called subaru and they told me that was not the case and I would be responsible. I again try to get an estimate for the work and was told that they could do the work but didn’t want to Incase they found more problems. I asked to speak with a manager and was then told it was going to be 1400 for the tiny spot of rust that wasn’t 2 weeks old. I thought maybe a couple hundred dollars since my car was already being painted from the hail damage and it was already in the shop. I get my car back and it looks good. My bumper starts sagging under the fenders and I get a call saying there were additional parts that needed to be put on my car. I make appointment to have work done and point out that my bumper is sagging. They put the parts on and when I asked about the bumper the tech tells me that it was broke before it came for the original work. So after he called me a liar and was told 1400 more dollars for paint they already had I won’t be bringing any more business to this shop. I know for a fact the bumper wasn’t broke before I dropped the car off.

I highly recommend Fifth Dimension! I had a dent repaired on my SUV and their PDR technician did an EXCELLENT job! You cant tell it was ever dented. The cost was very reasonable and they got me right in, they also washed and cleaned the inside of my vehicle. The staff were professional, very knowledgeable and friendly, the waiting area was very nice.

They repaired my 10 Prius few months ago and I didn’t appreciate the job they did. They over sprayed the trim under the bumper. They also over sprayed inside the gas cap. They put in after market brake lights but one of them were all scratched up. I went in regarding about the brake light and they didn’t want to fix it. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to any of my friends. The funny thing is that the mildew wasn’t there at all. Also the bumper was a huge issue that’s why we kept going back from not putting the clips correctly to not putting the sticker correctly.

My passenger mirror needed repaired so they showed me on the computer screen exactly what the part was going to cost and the fees associated with labor. I just had 5D paint and install an aftermarket fiberglass hood on my new Durango. The communication was great, the estimate was accurate, and the job was absolutely phenomenal. I recommend them very highly.

Great help with my vehicle and situation

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I recently had a minor collision with a stationary object which resulted in a broken taillight and a damaged bumper. Having had a previous miserable experience with a collision repair shop, I went about getting estimates with a heavy heart. 5th Dimensions estimate was the lowest, so with some misgivings, we had the work done there. I am very happy that we did! The car that was returned to us looked like a new car, spotless on the outside and the inside. The work was done on time and to estimate, and the people there couldnt have been nicer or friendlier.

I had to buy it back from the insurance company, and do what I could to make it drivable and safe within the budget I now had available. My mechanic for the last 7 years recommended me to stop by 5th Dimension; since the moment I arrived I was welcomed and thoroughly walked through my options. Scott himself came out and came up with a tailored estimate that would allow me to have the car ready in a timely manner, but more importantly, he came up with an estimate that would fit the budget I had available. Took my hot rod to 5th Dimension for a new front end (pot hole damage). It is a show car so I was very particular in the end results. When I got it back they not only met my expectations but exceeded them in all aspects. I would not hesitate taking any vehicle I own to 5th Dimension for collision repair/damage work.

This place is huge! Youd hardly know it from the street, but they have multiple buildings, tons of expert employees, and top notch equipment. I have metallic paint that they matched perfectly -looks like new!

We learned that the hard way by accepting a quote that was preapproved by the insurance company and the work was shabby at best. Then took to 5D and it was perfect. I highly recommend Fifth Dimension. Their customer service, the quality of their work, and the speed with which they completed the repairs were all excellent. I took my car in to get the hood repainted. I first went to Tatman’s for an estimate, then took my car to Fifth Dimension to get a comparison. I chose to get an estimate from Fifth Dimension because they had positive reviews and also because the Ford dealership recommended them for paint jobs. The estimate at Fifth Dimension was $300 less than at Tatman’s. That was because the estimator at Fifth Dimension, Zach, recommended not doing one of the steps that was automatically included in the Tatman’s bid (blending the paint job from the hood to the fenders). Zach at Fifth Dimension was right; the blend wasn’t necessary in this case. My car looks like new, and it saved me $300 and an extra day of repairs.

They seemed really nice over the phone, so I had my car towed over to their facility. They didnt call me the entire day to give me an estimate, I kept calling to see what was up. Eventually they finally gave me a $3500 that they would charge to insurance, and when they realized I was paying out of pocket, they offered to give me a non-matching used car hood for $750. Then they explained that they are closed for repairs on the weekends. When I said no thanks, Im going to pick up my car, they acted as though I somehow couldnt pick up my own car and Id have to wait until monday. Needless to say, they are ridiculous. So if you have infinite time or infinite money, bring your car to 5th dimension.

Honest, great work; plus they did an awesome cleaning job on the interior of our minivan: it was a train wreck in there, but they put all our crap in a big box, vacuumed it, and put the box in the van. A nice finishing touch on a perfect repair job.

We highly recommend Fifth Dimension! We needed a quote for a repair on our new Kia Carnival - Shane inspected it and got me a quote right away (no appointment needed). They were able to get us in within a couple days to repair the damage and it only took a couple days! We just got our car back today and it looks good as new- can’t even tell where the damage was and the paint matches perfectly. There were no hidden charges- the quote matched the final price exactly. They even washed our car and cleaned the inside! HUGE thank you to Shane and Kelly (who we dealt with personally) but thank you to the entire business!!
