I arrived early for my appointment because of a change to when I needed to pick up our pet from the vet; they got me in early, did the tire rotation quickly, and got me on my way. The front desk mgr was extremely nice and didnt try to sell me any services that I didnt need. Really pleased with the experience.

5/5 stars for customer service. the entire team at this location has always been courteous and professional, but this particular time i want to give a review. i went in for car care on a monday and they took care of my car. my battery light went on friday and my car broke down so i went back to AAA on saturday so they could take a look. they quickly assessed the situation and my water pump broke and caused the serpentine belt to fall off. unfortunately the part wasnt readily available so they had to keep my car until monday to fix it. i pick up my car monday and as i am driving to work i hear a noise when i hit the brakes. i get concerned because i am returning back to AAA for a 3rd time in 9 days. when i arrive at AAA and tell them about my brakes, James Stephens handled the situation very professionally. i was frustrated at not understanding what was going on with my car. after assessment he (and the technician) assured me it wasnt a safety issue but normal wear-and-tear on my car. James then spent at least 20 additional minutes answer my questions so i could better understand (1)why this wasnt caught at the car care safety inspection (because what broke is either not a problem or it is a problem) and (2)what parts were making noise when i hit the brakes. he even spent additional time giving advice on if i should buy a new car or keep this one around. i appreciate his attention to detail and professional customer service. Thank you!

I had a flat and AAA call center highly recommended them. They are definitely knowledgeable and will for sure tell you, text you everything possibly wrong with your car. You will be informed if your car is older like mine. I have an older Honda that has high miles but still a good car. If you a branf new car you will be ecstatic due to fact that there are few issues to address. My car is old and I am on a budget so could only do a few things. Two tire replacements were 100 higher than my last purchase of two tires at another local place but I was strapped on time so let him charge me the extra 100 for tires that he had available. Knowledgeable staff for sure and the minute you walk in be prepared to pay 39 if brand car for oil change or 2000 for old car issues. Have money or go to alternative places. They do do good work though so still 5 stars. I am not rich tho so I have to seek alternative.

I had a nail in my tire and took it to AAA without an appointment, as I had been there recently for an oil change. James and his team went above and beyond in helping me get it fixed, even sending someone to get me a new tire so I could make an afternoon commitment out of town. I just cant thank them enough for helping me out and doing so as quickly as they did - highly recommend!

The staff at AAA Kildare was exceptional. The communication was great, the service was top notch. I had an emergency car repair and they squeezed me in with no issues. While the car was in there they even fixed 2 other nagging issues that no-one else could repair. Andrew and James were professional and knowledgeable and the service was even affordable!

Went in for oil change & tire rotation, paid my hard earned money & drove away. I got maybe 1/4 mile from shop,left rear tire is vibrating like crazy, turns out lug nuts were not tightened,all of the lug nuts came off. Lucky me. Will never go there again.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Do not trust AAA for more than a tire change on the side of the highway. My car had a slightly loud noise coming from the right front tire area. I took it into AAA to get their thoughts and they convinced me that I needed a new transmission that would cost me almost $7,000.00. I immediately knew that didnt sound right. I took it to two other shops to get their opinion and was told by both of them that it was the wheel bearing. $200 out the door and my car sounds and drives perfectly now. Thank goodness I trusted my gut and not the mechanics at AAA. I would also like to note that this is not the first time I have had an issue here. Would recommend looking elsewhere!

I went there to have two tires with slow leaks repaired. However I received a list of recommended repairs and a recommendation that all four tires should be replaced. I went over the list of recommendations with the clerk and she showed me the tire wear so the tire replacement recommendations appeared to be legit. However, their part and labor prices even with my AAA membership are higher than other merchants so I declined their services. They put my car back together and didnt charge for their inspection which was nice.

Friendly, a little high on price and always set an appointment as they are normally BUSY! 😊

After having a terrible experience with an arrogant & condescending employee at the AAA car care Center in Apex, I made an appointment at this AAA car care center. I was hopefully optimistic that my experience would be better. The employees (Mgr-Andrew & Consultant-Trinity) were very kind and attentive to my needs as well as compassionate and apologetic for my experience at the Apex facility. As far as time, they under promised & over delivered. I will definitely use this facility again for my car care needs. Highly recommend

I had an appt scheduled for an oil change and tire rotation. It took 2.5 hours for the service - I also wasn’t offered just standard oil change services, only the enhanced upselling options. Dissatisfied as a AAA member.

I went here for inspections and its a stand-up place. For the pandemic, they are doing a full sterilization procedure before and after which does take some time, but its pretty upscale and respectable that they are going the extra distance to ensure the safety of customers. A+ service.

I took my car in today for a routine oil change. They texted me with a recommendation for some additional service; specifically, that the coolant failed and that I needed a coolant system flush, and that the power steering fluid was dirty and that I needed a power steering flush. That was interesting, because just over seven months ago, I had this same center perform a full coolant system flush, and a full power steering system flush. I am not sure if I was lied to today and that someone was trying to sell me service that I did not need, or if the work that was done in January was so slipshod that it needed to be repeated less than 5000 miles later. Either way, I do not care to take my car back there.

Good service. speedy and very professional staff. However, prices of parts, labor and tires and parts in stock tend to be on the high end. They offer the expensive tires in stock, but when I asked for cheaper more reasonably priced tires, they did not have those in house yet. Maybe perhaps have a greater inventory for all price ranges.

Today was the first time I serviced my Honda here and the employees were exceptionally welcoming and friendly! They even took the time to educate me in detail about the brand of oil they used and why along with so much more. It was a complete First Class Experience and I will definitely be coming here in the future. They have a customer for life!

Good deals but disappointing customer service at the car care center.I had booked the appointment and had specified that the oil and transmission fluid needed to be changed. The car details were specified during the booking.After the service, I was told that the transmission fluid could not be taken care of. No proper explanation was given. When I asked for further information the person at the front desk said they did not have the right tools for my vehicle.I am not sure why they did not tell me this beforehand or call me when they realized that this was the case. If I had known earlier, I would not have gone to AAA and gone to the dealership in the first place.It seems like I was forced to do half of the required service. This wasted my time as I now have to book another appointment with the dealership to get the transmission fluid taken care of.Moreover, when I picked up the car, I noticed that my car lights were left on. When I told the person at the car care desk, his reply was a mere ‘OK.’ Fortunately, I was able to pick up the car earlier than expected otherwise my battery would have drained.In all my interaction, the gentleman at the front desk kept staring at the computer when speaking to me.Needless to say, I would not be coming back to this location or even AAA, perhaps. This is the second time in a row I have experience poor customer service with AAA. I understand people can have bad days but this has happened too often with AAA.

Getting your car inspected isn’t super exciting, getting your car inspected on a Friday afternoon with your two kids is even worse. However, this AAA was SO awesome. The initial scheduling phone call to Rich, the AMAZINGLY sweet staff (every single one of them), the waiting room was clean, comfortable and had everything you needed for a long wait WHICH we did not have to use because we were done in 20 minutes. Everything was great and if you have to get your car inspected or anything AAA related I definitely recommend this one. They sell super cute baggellini bags and nice suitcases too. Thanks guys!

My wife and I walked across the street to find lunch. Waverly Place is full of places to eat and shops, so convenient while we wait for vehicle. Normally, if I am alone, I wait in the waiting area, but not yesterday.

My vehicle service was completed on time and the customer service was excellent. Duncan went the extra mile to make sure the problem was really resolved. I highly recommend having Duncan check out your vehicle of you are having an issue.

Car had a flat tire and needed a wheel alignment. Called early morning, car was picked up, repaired and ready before the end of the day. They called to update me on the car’s status throughout the day. Matt was friendly and helpful when I arrived to pay and get my car back. Car drives like new again!

Today I was at a car wash and met the nicest gentleman by the name of Mike. I was on my way to get my battery replaced on my car and My battery had died. Mike was super sweet and assisted me by giving me a jump. He also told me that he works for AAA and I should think about getting coverage. Thank you so much Mike and I will definitely be getting coverage!

Weve had great experiences here, specifically with the trip planning, although I have had some work done on my car and that was great too. Alex helped us plan our honeymoon, she was very friendly, personable, reliable, and genuine. She goes out of her way to help you, and immediately helps to fix problems that arise! We ended up changing our honeymoon plans a few times, specifically our hotel reservations and tickets for different events, and she did it easily and quickly. She was always happy to do it! We were helped by others at this AAA and they were the same way, friendly and very helpful. You cant go wrong with AAA!

The up selling that the service agents do is appalling. I had an appointment for an oil change at 8AM, arrived at 7:55, and at 9:35 received a text message that my car was being inspected for repairs. The service agent came to the waiting room and started to tell me my car needed $544 of repairs. I’m knowledgeable on car repairs and the story, I would rather not say lies, the service agent told me didn’t make any sense. I’ve been a AAA member for over 20 years and seriously considering to cancel my membership. Are your service personal paid on commissions? This is appalling service. One time, on time, HONEST REPAIRS. Reconsider writing your moto statement written on your service center wall.

Decided to go for NC State inspection since I recently joined AAA. The representatives at AAA Car Care have terrible attitude here. One was actually surprised why I came to them and then the other rep explained to him what needs to be done. After waiting for about half and hour I decided to go check on how long it might take, So I am standing in front of 3 reps who were busy doing some data entry on their computers. They did see me. I stand there for full 5 minutes hoping to get attention and none had the courtesy to ask what I need. In the meantime a call comes in and the rep promptly attends the call and continues ignoring me. Then he gets up and walks away while I still wait. Then he comes back after a while and without looking at anyone makes an announcement in general It will be in in one minute and then proceeds to ignoring me. At this point I decided to interrupt him and ask how long the car might take and he says I just told you. How is somebody supposes to know someone is talking to them when they are not being addressed or being looked at directly. Anyways it took another 15 minutes before the car went it. They should be courteous enough to state upfront how much time the car is going to take and when someone goes back for a question acknowledge him and ask what is the issue. Never going back to this location, terminating my AAA membership and advice others to not join AAA.

Been going to this shop for a couple years. Moved from out of the area and relied on the name. Friendly staff, but their priority is selling not serving. They know how to sell and perform vehicle maintenance, but I dont think they know how to diagnose a problem without the system. High mileage vehicle, and we spent quite a bit last year. A while ago my wife experienced some trouble where trans slipped on highway. Told this shop, they said no issues. Happened again several months ago, took it back in. Same story, they said no issues, buy they recommended trans flush. We took their advise, and a couple weeks ago it got much worse. Now they say the trans needs to be replaced. When I declined (they were going to charge more than car is worth), they charged me a high diagnostic fee. Found a trans repair shop that actually know how to fix cars and they are doing the job for about 40% of AAA charges. No diagnostic fee either. I know better now.

Had the same experience as others below. Was told transmission needed to be replaced and was going to cost more than the car was worth. So, I sold the car to a private individual and still had to pay a high diagnostic fee just for them to “diagnose the problem”Also tried to sell me a battery, told me my battery was dead. However when the seller came to collect the car it fired right up with the old battery in it. Odd!They are definitely in the business of selling!

Went in for oil/filter change on 2007 Prius. That work was done satisfactorily. However......They tried to check me in under a different first name, different vehicle, and it took some convincing for them to find the correct appointment which I had set up on line. But more to the point, I was surprised at their unfamiliarity with the basics of a Prius. They said the battery was in bad shape. I asked which battery. The guy looked at me like I was crazy. I said big battery or little battery? He now thought I was certifiably nuts. On top of that I was told that my radiator/engine coolant level was fine but the reservoir was completely empty. They said they could not add coolant since there was none in the reservoir. When I checked later, the reservoir was filled to the full level. But yeah, if you remove the coolant reservoir cap and peer inside, indeed, it looks empty. Oh my.......

Great and quick service from Chloe. She prepared TripTik, gathered Tour Book and maps and had me back out the door within 15 minutes!

Got my tires rotated and one of the tires checked for possible leak, got in and out in an hour. Good friendly service.

I am a AAA member and have tried twice to work with the travel agency through the Cary office. I called a couple of weeks ago and asked about setting up a vacation and relayed the particulars to the agent I spoke with on the phone. She was to get back to me via email or phone within a couple of days and I never heard from her again. Something similar occurred a few years when I attempted to use the travel agencys assistance for trip planning. I did give 2 stars because the agent was very pleasant on the phone.

They did a great job on my brakes and stayed after hours to finish it so I could get my car back that day!!! Thanks so much!!!

I like AAA, it has come in handy over the last few years. This location in particular is really good about fitting me in even on Mondays, which I truly appreciate. Overall, place is good, but Ive had some issues. Issue #1 Complaining about hot tire/caliber on left side, some how they deduced the issue was on the right, even thought I complained about the right, but later worked this out with AAA corporate so no issues there. Issue #2 I keep getting nails in my tires after bringing my car in. Please clean up your shop floor.

I requested a tire rotation with the standard oil changed and I typically mark my tires with chalk to make sure the tire rotations are done properly. This particular technician decided to tell the front desk employee that they did change my tires side to side but after inspecting my markings, I saw that they were never moved. He blatantly lied about rotating my tires after I requested it was going to pay for it to be done. A manager, ultimately took care of it and said that the tech told him, “That he did not think that my tires needed to be rotated.” Really, then say/explain that initially instead of lying about performing the work that was paid for/requested!! This place is a joke.

I take my 08 Corolla and 01 Civic here all the time. Ive been doing so for about five years now. They have resolved every issue presented to them. They do quality work, and commonly give honest advice about if things need to be fixed now or later. The prices are very fair, and low, in my opinion. The staff is also really good. They are pleasant and helpful.

Nice employees, but terrible prices.If I would have bought a manufacturer certified part, it would have cost half the price. If I would have bought an aftermarket part, it would have been a tenth of the price.I was also charged $70 labor for a simple sensor replacement I could have done in 15 minutes. I would expect a trained technician could do it equally or more quickly.

I was very pleased when I was at the car care center recently. I was a customer of this locations Mgr. when he was at the Durham AAA location. So when I found out hes now in Cary where I live instead of work, I was so glad I could continue to get great service close to home. A rock had hit my windshield and mgr Jimmie gave me the AAA glass phone number and I called. AAA gave me a discount and saved me a lot of money. Also I spoke with the insurance man they have while I was at car care center. Really nice fellow and the rates he was telling me about you cant beat. If you need your car serviced by good, qualified people that you can trust, then Id definitely recommend this shop.

My only gripe about this place is that they said they would do same day currency exchange which they do but the fees for it are outrageous. however this is a great place to get your international drivers license should you need one.

Overpriced went in for a synthetic oil change I was told 103 dollars told him I had a coupon showed it to him he replies I’ve already taken that off. So I went next door to precision tune same synthetic oil change 57 dollars no coupon. Go somewhere else

They have always been very accommodating, friendly, and fast. We get our oil changes, checkups, and repairs here. I like that they have competitive prices and offer coupons even if we dont have one physically on hand. Appts are best for fastest/earliest times. Theyve been kind enough to waive a charge for a simple check into a concern - that didnt lead to any further service. This tells me they value the customer and repeat business over short term gain of a single charged visit.

I made an appointment with this AAA on a Saturday to get a front end alignment and a tire rotation done (very black and white to me). My inspector eventually told me I needed my tires replaced and tried to sell me new tires which would cost $725. He seemed very adamant in not doing my alignment until I had made a decision. My inspector eventually became busy and I was never able to notify him of my decision (I picked a bad day, not a big deal to me and that was not the point of leaving 1 star) and I left after being there for 1.5 hours, cancelling everything and not getting what I had made my appointment for.Edit: My inspector contacted me after my previous less than stellar review, I have changed my review from 1 star to 5 stars after resolving our miscommunication from that day. The staff at this AAA do their very best to make everyone happy and provide excellent service to everyone that drops in.

Want oil spilled all over your engine block during a routine oil change, and a quote for hundreds of dollars of extra work you didnt ask for, some of which is completely unjustified? This is the place.

Decided to give this location another try again. Definitely worth the time and money. Friendly, caring, and knowledgeable staff. The last time I was here, I was not pleased. I can tell something has changed. The guy with the chops (cant recall his name) took his time to help me out and sell me the right services for what I needed.

This location was pretty aces. The youngin manning the front desk was polite, said everything looked good except for a low-testing battery, explained that I dont necessarily need to worry about it unless the car begins to have power issues (not starting quickly, for example)... and generally didnt try to scam me because I happen to have a pair of tits.I will be returning here.

Beware! The automotive department of the AAA in Waverly said we needed $800 worth of repairs. Took it to another car repair place in Cary and none of that work was necessary!

The staff of the car repair are some of the friendliest people i have ever met. The patch my tire in no time They got me back on the road and home safely.

Always have given me good service and done what we agreed on at the price we agreed on. Nice people that make you feel comfortable they are taking care of your problem. I have owned car care businesses in the past and know what to look for when getting service and I will continue to use their services.

Had an oil change, and had no problems. Staff was polite and friendly. I made my appointment for 9am on a Saturday and waited 1 hour 45 minutes for everything to be done. A little long in my opinion, but it was a Saturday.. over all a god experience.

This place is what gives car mechanics such a bad name. They totally tried to take my girlfriend to the cleaners, not to mention charging her way too much for a bad diagnosis. Shame on them, luckily my girl knows better than to trust these shady jokers.

I pulled into AAA with a flat tire on my trailer. Rich came out right away and aired up the tire. The problem with the tire was very noticeable, as the valve stem was leaking. Rich said he could fix it, but it will be quite a long wait, as his techs where busy with other customers vehicles.To my surprise, Rich dropped what he was doing and repaired my tire quickly. Great customer service!!!!

Excessive pricing. I was charged $58 to replace the cabin filter. I have done this myself for $15.

These guys went out of their way to make sure that I didnt have to spend extra money on my car by finding a recall for my vehicle​ for the work I needed done. They were very friendly and informative about what I needed done and how much it would cost! And ...everything was fixed!

I took my car in for an oil change. Even with an appointment it took 2 hours! At the end, they presented me with a list of urgent maintenance and repair issues.First on the list, replace the battery - oh and were running a 40% off special! My battery is less than 6 months old, and full price at Costco - AKA 50% LESS (at Costco) than AAAs 40% discount.Two more items were over $200 each and I had to look up when I got home. They are old technology, my car doesnt HAVE the parts they want to replace.Last, they want to take my breaks apart to clean them. Nothing is wrong with them, they dont need adjusting or new parts, just a good cleaning. Ill get around to that about the same time I replace my blinker fluid...

I found the people to be nice when I was there in person. Unfortunately, the work is subpar and more expensive than many other mechanics in the area.More disappointingly they seem to try to upcharge women. Multiple times my wife came home saying they told her “in order to get back on the road” she’d need multiple hundreds of dollars of work.The story would quickly change though when I either called or went in in-person. This hs happened twice now.

I had a wonderful experience here. Came in with a small list of things I wanted checked on and verified (due to recommendations from another mechanic). Worked with Rich and he reviewed and verified what work I actually did need done.Since I work around the corner I like to leave my car whenever possible to give the mechanics time to fully investigate what is going on with my car. Rich called me before any work was actually done and went over all options and cost of those options. I ended up getting the LIFETIME BRAKE service (brake pads covered for life of the car!!!!) and I am completely happy because as we all know the stop-and-go traffic of 440/40 will make it very worth the price!

A+ experience got me 2 tires ASAP (Michelin not usually stocked) and an alignment for a good price. Accepted coupons and called when it was time for my car to be picked up (ahead of schedule BTW). Good people will wake care of you.Just wanted to add that i was helped both by their towing service recently as well as getting what would have cost a lot more than i payed, the guy in car care managed to knock off every discount and then some so i got 1000$ or so of work may 1200$ for around 850$ GO here they great!

I have only had good experiences taking my cars here. Nice staff, easy to make appointment, and great service.A plus to this location is that if you are waiting, there are several places to eat/shop in the same mall area.

AAA had a terrific price on batteries on Black Friday. When I stopped by, they very quickly helped me get the battery I needed. It was nice to get such friendly, helpful service.

Avoid. I had AAA tow my car to the AAA service center in Cary because it wouldnt start. The problem was the ignition - they said they fixed it, and I drove it home. Next day, car wont start. They had the car sitting there for two weeks trying to discover the problem. Finally, they fixed it.A few months later, I started having problems with my battery. I called the AAA service to have the battery replaced. The guy who came said he could not sell me a battery with a warranty, because the problem with the battery was due to a small electric drain that occurred even when the car is not running that started when the service center had my car and was likely due to an error made when fixing it.I brought my car back to the service center and they refused to work on it, because they said an electrical problem could be anything. So much for the 3-year warranty on their work...

Drove in w/o an appointment at 7:29 am, just as shop was opening. Got an oil change, state inspection and cabin filter replacement in just over 45 minutes. Super nice and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Timely - safe - though

Why cant I give them no stars? Reported them to the Better Business Bureau and AAAs people jumped in to say they offered me survived and because Im a woman I dont know any better. When I asked them to show me what was wrong they refused to show me. They send me one email bashing me and how I was wrong. Then to the BBB claimed their were several emails to reach out and try and fix things. People these days are so pathetic and their attempts to make a buck by being a terrible human being. Buyer beware.

Fast and friendly and theres a big shopping center with Whole Foods and a variety of high end stores to visit while you wait for your vehicle.

AAA gave me an estimate that was comprehensive and did the work in the estimated time... The people were friendly and knowledgeable... I would use them in the future...

Whats the point in having a call center if the business doesnt correctly use it? This store is always busy but they never put anything in online so then when you call their call center they do not know how busy the store is do not waste your time and the people are very rude.

I went once they replaced the water pump and thermostat and it was expensive $367.00 anyway my man drove my car next day and its over heating, smoke rolling hot, the guy did all that could be done.. but I like the membership because you never know what could happen on the highway..

The car care center is always very helpful and quick. Maybe a bit pricey but not too bad

The staff at both the Greensboro,NC and the Raleigh, NC locations were exceptionally friendly and helpful to me. They made sure my truck was safe for the return trip home to Newton,NC.
