The past 2 times a guy named Matt has been very helpful, friendly and informative. He explains things to me, and educates me in gentle manner that doesnt make me self concious of my ignorance on the matters. I hope he sticks around.

My battery died second the way at Starbucks and I was actually going to carry the battery across the parking lot. I don’t remember the young mans name but he walked all the way across the parking lot jumped my car and put the battery in. Made my night! I love you guys! THANK YOU!

Disappointed. The cashier was dismissive. I bought 2 wiper blades, $52! He mumbled a thank you and sent me on my way with no offer to install which made me question if they still did that. Granted, I could have asked, but he already seemed put out just to ring up the sale. If I go back Ill avoid that employee.

I went there today to purchase some cabin air filters and an engine air filter, which I know nothing about. Fitz was very nice and quick to help! He was able to look up what specific filter I needed, and even got them for me, so all I had to do was pay. I barely know anything about car parts, but Fitz made it easy and stress free and I saved tons of money in the long run changing them myself.

Great store. They keep a good selection of stuff. I wish I had gotten the name of the gentleman that helped me! He was great. He helped me find the correct coolant for my Touareg. To which the bottle happens to be written in German. Thanks guys! Great job. And I will come get that name from you and update this review ASAP.

Good parts and good customer service. They test and check your battery on site or in the parking lot.

Only parts store in town I will use. Staff is always helpful. They do their best to make sure you are getting the correct part for your application. Most of the time, I see a staff member assisting a customer in the parking lot as well. I know this is a service that all part stores offer, but rarely see in action. Not the case at this location. I will also mention, I hold a commercial account at this location, even though my shop is on the other side of town....for a reason. Their service is always on point.

Fastest way to get the right part

I’m in the store a lot because I love working on my own vehicles. Love that it’s so close when I need a tool and my car isn’t driveable. The only thing I dislike about this store is the clerks are hit or miss. Some are super friendly and polite while others are very rude. While most are great, they are going to start losing more and more business to Amazon if they don’t treat the customers well.

Ive been going to this advance auto for over 20 years. Most car parts places are good. This one is consistently top notch. Great advice. Great people - not a bad one in the bunch. -John.

Good customer service. We had to replace a broken wiper during a rain storm. The one we bought broke apart while being installed in the lot. I took it back, they replaced it, and helped to install this new wiper blade.

They hire people that have no business being there. Cap. Blvd., said they could not find 5.4 Ford in there computer . Advance at holly park shopping center swor there part would work and it wasnt even the same set up. So all the running around and working on my truck is 0 accomplished .

Every time I have been in recently George has been courteous and helpful, and hes obviously knowledgeable, all valuable things which cant be said about some of the other employees of this store in the past. (Ive gotten my car parts from this store almost exclusively for 5 years now.) Ryan was always helpful and provided great customer service too but Ive not seen him around for a while.

I like this store, but an older gentleman (if I call him that) wasnt very customer friendly. He had an accent. Everyone else has always been very nice and friendly. Too bad that one person affects the overall review. Otherwise I would rate much higher.

As any parts store, depending on the time (or your lucky) there will be customers before you so, you may have to hang in line for a little so check your part online first... I had no problems a few times I was there, got the parts I needed and that was it. The selection is satisfactory.

Amman provided exceptional service. I needed a small part for my drive belt system and with his guidance, I fixed my vehicle saving me what would likely to amount to hundreds of dollars if I had gone to a mechanic. He was knowledgeable and extremely patient. Im not great at fixing vehicles and just learning how a motor works. Nevertheless, Amman stuck with me and led me through a novice task that I now feel confident about.

Tried to purchase a bulb for my fog light. Went home and tried to install. They sold me the incorrect bulb and would not take back the bulb that did not work. I will never come back here again. So disappointing....

So I noticed my headlights were dimming when I hit my breaks and figured something was wrong. Also, when I was going to crank the car it was a very slow hesitant crank...well I went to the advance auto I used to visit at Harrison Pointe, to only receive terrible service. I was told they could not remove and replace my battery because of the corrosion on one of my terminals.So I left with my two children with a bad battery. He did not even make the offer to help although it was sleeting and I had small children.Tonight I went to the one on Kildaire Farm Road....George helped. George is my angel who changed my battery and my terminal for me. I cannot say enough about his kindness and willingness to help despite it not being a requirement. George exemplifies the definition of true customer service. I HIGHLY recommend him and his store for all car needs.George, thank you.

I was sent here by the store in Fuquay-Varina to get a part that was supposed to be in stock. Upon entering I was greeted by a man behind the counter who appeared to use English as a last ditch effort at communicating. I showed him the part number for the part I needed. He couldnt find it. I then told him what the part was called. I then had to help him spell filter, gasket and bracket and inform him he would need to use spaces between the words he typed. He continued is journey through the English language hopelessly not find the part after scrolling past it multiple times. He repeatedly stated that the part didnt exist. I had to physically point and touch the computer screen to show him the part as he passed it several times.Seriously what the heck is going on at this place. During this infuriating banter several other employees walked around aimlessly and empty handed wasting company time. Another customer blew his top and yelled at one of the employees to help him and two ducked behind a shelf to avoid doing their job. A female employee with a who farted face seemed annoyed with the idea of speaking to a customer, slowly walked over and asked if he needed help. As I watched this the employee who was helping me was in the back for long enough to manufacture the part I was in need of. So I got a little bit of entertainment out of the angry Yankee fussing with the no craps given female.Eventually my helper returned with my $2 part and I was able to pay and make my way out of what I assume is gear head purgatory.

This place is great! Fast service and incredibly knowledgeable. If youre lucky enough to get George, youre in good hands.

Had our car literally just stop at the closed shopping area literally next door to this store last night - Halloween. Hubby called me and we drove to this store, hoping it was open (it was 7:30 p.m.). It was and the employee there literally went w/us to where the broken car was (seconds away) THREE times trying to diagnose what the problem was. You talk about above and beyond! Ive never seen anything like it. Could not have been kinder or more helpful! Great job to this employee and store in general!

Me and my father went to this store to get a new battery for his key fob. We asked one of the employees if they could assist in replacing the battery, and the gentleman told us we cannot do it as it is a liability and we do not want to be responsible taking the fob apart. Then we asked if they can look up the model battery, and he refused to help me as well. I am not satisfied with the gentleman I dealt with and wish I got his name. Very unprofessional and rude. So another employee saw what happened and ask if we wanted him to do it for us, which we agreed to let him do. It took him two minutes to do and I was completely satisfied. Thats what I call customer service, unlike the other gentleman I dealt with. Hopefully my next trip there isnt a repeat, or else Ill willingly go to a different store.

This is my go to store when I need anything! The staff goes above and beyond to help out! They have helped me with installing head lights and wipers! Tonight I was in a jam with an alternator issue. Not a good situation when I have to drive for work tomorrow at 6:30 am! Evrin has gone above and beyond to help me get back on the road. He has provided exemplar customer care and service! I wont be going anywhere else for car parts!

I went there for a car battery, she told me it was a good battery and I needed an alternator. I ended up calling AAA for a jump and went to another auto shop, they did a test and I bought a battery, the alternator was fine.
