Matt the Assistant Manager is AWESOME!!!! He embodies the meaning of excellence in customer service. He has a friendly, customer-centric, and positive attitude that make me want to come back to this store. He went out of his way to help me not only select the right headlamps for my vehicle, but he also installed them, and on top of that, he also helped me with my battery corrosion problems - all with a smile on his face! To the Autozone management: Matt is the type of employee you want to have representing your company. He deserves to be Store Manager; better yet, he should be Regional Manager!

I have never really reviewed before but after calling in here and talking to Patrick, I went in and he was a human being from.the beginning. Heard about my issue and gave me very honest options. I recommend this place and the whole crew seemed very involved with customers. Very personal and easy going people, especially Patrick who I worked with.

Wonderful staff!!My kids and I had gone to a thrift store nearby and came out of the store to a very flat tire. Fortunately there was this Auto zone next door, and I thought I could just get an air compressor there. Luckily, Patrick, one of the store associates, offered to take a look at the flat for me instead, and after assessing it, and out of the kindness of his heart, helped me change it. This was not an easy task, because I had no tools in the car to change it (that s a whole different story) other than the spare itself. Patrick went above and beyond to help me get the right tools and get me back on my way. Being new to the area he also gave me guidance where I could get my tire fixed and by that evening, everything was taken care of. I cannot thank Patrick enough for his help!! I am very thankful for kind employees like him who go above and beyond to help!!!

KISHORE M. Was very helpful I went in for a battery and walked me through the whole process since having a newer car you have to unscrew several bolts just to remove it and well he taught me a lesson that you have to tap the push start button with you’re key fob in order for it to turn over overall they give great customer service . Will be coming back there again !!

Today we were standing in the isle looking for a turn signal light when Michael walks up and offers his help. Today I went to my usual AutoZone on high house in Cary. There was nobody in the store. I needed a headlight replaced...again. AutoZone usually has no problem replacing the light bulb. Upon entering the store I greeted the female cashier “hey how are ya? Happy Sunday!” No response. She just continued to look at me. No “how can I help you today” no friendly reply back. I stood for a second. No customer service skills at all. I asked if anyone available to help install a headlight. “We dont do that here” well you have many times in the past. “Due to covid we are not”. It’s an outside job. she recommended Advanced Auto Parts. I drove right next door to O’Reilly Auto Parts. 7mins in and out. New headlights. Tipped the guy and was done! They lost a $60 sale. The person installing lost cash in their pocket. And today AutoZone which received all my business, lost a customer!

5 Stars! Not for Auto Zone, but mainly for Brandon, its the employees that make the company. We walked in the door & Brandon greeted us promptly. I told him my issue, he immediately offered to look at the car; discovered it was just a blown bulb, told me the cost, changed it, checked it and we were on our way. This is the kind of service I expect, but sometimes dont receive. Kudos to Brandon @ Auto Zone. Lets be clear, I rarely give any establishment 5 stars.

Two elderly ladies going in for windshield wiper fluid. No idea where to put it in the car was never asked if we needed help. When I did wave down one of the workers he did come out and tell us where to put it but did not help in any other way. Not impressed with the service.

I just want to take a moment & say that this store is amazing! I had a concern with the safety of my car this morning. Walked into another auto parts store & called my dealership (Greenville Toyota) with bitterly disappointing results. Called this store and Nija answered. She was immediately thoughtful & so I drove there to be welcomed into their store, treated with dignity/kindness & had my concern addressed. I can now feel comfortable & safe driving. Thanks Nija & AutoZone!!!!!!

I’m not sure who the owners of this store are or if it’s corporate owned but I would suggest finding a new manager of this location.Khalid was amazing. He spent 45 minutes in the sweltering heat to help us install a battery and figure out why the car wasn’t jump starting.Michael(Believe it was his name) came out to “assist” Khalid. He said he was the manager. He was horrible. He looked like he was under the influence of something or alcohol, he was extremely rude to my fiancée and I, laughed when asking him questions. You can clearly tell the associates are not fans of him.You can’t run a place successfully when you have someone like that managing a business. I’m not sure but I think I’ll contact corporate for a complaint because I have seen other people mentioned having the same issues with this manager.

Horrible service. Ive tried many times giving this AutoZone a chance since they live close to me but I rather make the drive to Apex were I will be treated better. Went in to get my battery warranty check and the older fella said he wouldnt honor it since I didint have an account and made me type my own name on the computer in the middle of this PANDEMIC. I had a serial number and a account yet he still didnt help me. He didnt have his mask on correctly and would make me go over his desk constantly. 😤 Tired of this store and rather take my business elsewhere, if you live in Cary I suggest you drive to Apex than deal with this kind of service.

The manager was very rude and unhelpful. I come in with existing windshield wiper to match. I found the item myself than bring it up to counter. Just to double check I asked manager to look at part. He refuses to acknowledge I had already pulled the part and wants to know more about application. I check it myself i have the right part and then the regular employee gets my order and offers free installation. GET SOME REAL MANAGER WHO WANTS TO HELP YOUR CUSTOMERS)!!!)

Walked in, 4 people looking at me, none near register, none asking if they can help me, finally heavily tatted chick gives me belt that does not match the belt I brought in to be replaced. Drive back after not fitting in car (15 minutes later) Ask for the old torn belt back after he told me it was a manufacturers defect, maniac manager that looks like a roid case (bloated gut and all) basically flips out and begins a roid rage. He asked me what registered i purchased it at, I told him over there and pointed (he was one of the 4 that watched me purchase it 15 minutes earlier) yelling about how is he supposed to know where it was. Someone else found it and handed it to him which he seemed perturbed about because he was intentionally not finding it for me. This guy is a human resource nightmare and an accident waiting to happen. Went across street to Oreillys, they were professional, gave me the right belt in 5 minutes with no attitude. I dont know where autozone finds their hires, from the looks of them they must be recruiting at the NC State prison halfway house.

I visited the location on High House rd. In Cary, NC today and I was so pleased with my experience. Jay D was extremely helpful and it was so refreshing to have such awesome customer service. As soon as I stepped foot in the door, Jay asked what I was looking for and how he could help. I needed a wiper blade, which he helped me find, and then offered to help me install. The entire trip was so painless and took less than 5 minutes. I will definitely be back! And special thanks to Jay!

These guys have served me well for several years. Im just now making time to write reviews for businesses who have provided good service. What I like about them, is theyre very transparent. If I go in, and ask for a part for my car, they show me the options, and dont typically default to try to sell the most expensive product. Plus, I like their lifetime warranty on shocks, brake pads and other parts. They are open late, and keep many convenient items in stock. Im including a bunch of photos to help provide a virtual copy of my experience walking around for wipers, oil and other necessary items. Were lucky to have one conveniently located.

Decent variety, decent customer service, and it ends there. Prices unusually high (when compared to Walmart or on line). If you need technical support and are unwilling to use YouTube or Google, this may be a good choice

Over the past couple weeks, I have been in this store about 8 times (unfortunately) but thankfully every single time I have had amazing customer service from every employee who helped me. Which was pretty much all of them. The prices are good, they are honest and helpful. Couldnt ask for better.

Came here to get turn signal bulbs because mine were blinking fast. Michael took his time with me, looked at my bulbs and we concluded it was not the bulbs that were the issue. He also installed my wiper blades for me. I appreciate his honesty and time, I highly recommend this AutoZone!

I had to come to this location after vising Autozone on Davis Dr. because they had the parts that I needed. The staff was quick to help and held my parts for pick-up making my life easier. Not every location has the best customer service but I was very happy with the customer service here and the one off Davis Dr.

This shop is great at providing quick service when it comes to fixing your car. I went in needing Windshield wipers. The staff member looked up the size of wipers I needed, helped me select a great brand, and even installed the wipers for me. Car troubles always come out of nowhere and normally are inconvenient for me. AutoZone helps minimize that inconvenience and gets me going again.

Not a bad store experience, I shop at Autozone all the time if I need parts. The stars are for my bad battery experience. My battery died about a year ago so I took it here to get tested. It was the battery so I bought a new one and THEY installed it (I didnt touch it). Drove it home and parked it. Woke up the next morning and it wad dead. The positive terminal was barely tightened and about to fall off. No big deal if I wasnt in a rush that day. Today my car was dead, so I jumped it and drove here for the battery warranty if it was the battery. The gentleman helping me looked at my battery terminal and said Where is your other negative terminal? There is no way I can read this from this terminal, there is barely anything for this clamp to grab onto. There is no way you jumped this vehicle using this terminal. He then disconnected the terminals and hooked the clamps up directly to the battery. He then said Go ahead and start the vehicle. I said I cant, you just disconnected the terminals. He said Oh yeah, thats right. He reconnected the terminals but didnt tell me to start it again. He then said the battery is a little drained and to drive it around for another 10 minutes and to come back again for another reading. Didnt even see if it was an alternator or starter problem. I drove it to a mechanic shop and I personally saw them test it in 2 minutes and said everything checks out. My vehicles been having other problems that might be related to it not starting, but I think that is besides the point. I realize its Autozone and not a mechanic shop but Im irritated for them saying theres no way I jumped my own vehicle using that terminal (the negative terminal directly attached to the battery), and for wasting my time and telling me drive around some more when you offer battery testing and poorly / did not do it. I will not trust another diagnosis from here again.

Staff is great here. Always willing to help. Very nice. People have to remember this isnt a repair shop. They can look parts up based on year make and model. They cant diagnose or fix your problems other than reading a code and telling you to take it to a mechanic.

Showed up at 9:30pm because I thought this store closed at 10:00, but I was wrong. Regardless, Caesar asked me “how could I help you” and he got me my requested part with a smile and I left completely satisfied. Thank you Caesar and AutoZone for hiring a customer focused technician (even though it was my mistake).

Best customer dealing

This place has a good selection of products, and the employees really do seem knowledgeable and try to be helpful, but between many of them having marginal English skills and few of them really knowing the ins and outs of their point-of-sale system, it can sometimes be an arduous and lengthy process to complete your business there.
