Most amazing experience ever and now I have a good team of technicians. I haven’t had my vehicle for a year and prior to bringing it here I had 3 others do work on my vehicle. No one was as thorough as Fix It With Fred!! Unbelievable but I promise this is better than the dealership, I say this because I’ve been to a dealership and they treat you like just another sale. Fix It With Fred really builds a rapport with the customer. They explain everything so you can understand ( if your not car savvy), provide you with a vehicle inspection WITH PICTURES, explain prices and importance of what you need done. Most importantly they are honest and take great pride in everything every step of the way. I’ll be back soon lol I say that in a good way because I know Dusty (my car) has finally found a good car hospital lol (what my kids call the car shop). I’d give 500 stars if I could.

The repair that I had done by Fix it with Fred was a short block and clutch/flywheel replacement. This is by far the best repair shop that I have ever visited/used ! They hold an extremely high standard for their repairs that not even dealerships offer and I was extremely satisfied with the service that I was provided . Unlike most shops out there they were willing to show you and explain in high detail about what the problems were and what the repairs were going to consist of with pictures and detailed descriptions provided on the online platform that they use. They let you know what was going on every step of the way . The pricing for the repair I had done was very reasonable and the quality of the parts used was excellent they did not try to shortcut any repairs or use cheap bad quality parts. Every time I called or visited the shop the staff were always very friendly and professional. Fred and His technician Dane stayed after hours to ensure that my car was done on the day that it was promised to be done and made sure to check over everything multiple times to make sure that I wouldn’t have to bring my vehicle back with any issues. I would highly suggest to use this automotive repair shop from the smallest issue to the biggest issue that you may have with your vehicles! I am very appreciative and thank Fred and his team for the best experience I’ve had with a vehicle repair !

I worked with Fred before he had this place. I must say I e never known a more skilled mechanic. He literally went to a world wide mechanic competition and came back with podium win( I don’t remember place exact) WORLDWIDE!!!! He is extremely friendly, reliable, talented, and family driven. Where do I start? I had several things done on my car and was given a loaner car to use while repairs were made. I was given step by step information as my car was being done so that I could make informed decisions. Had an issue with my 2016 Camaro. Before I found FIWF I went to two different chevy dealerships and got two very different, blurry answers. Long story short, because of the conflicting opinions I was getting from chevy dealerships I was worried the issue may lead to larger problems down the road + didnt like how I was treated at the larger dealerships. When I showed up to Fix It With Fred & voiced my concerns I Immediately felt heard & got treated like a close friend. Ryan showed me around the entire shop, Dane rode with me in the car to verify the problem beforehand (and eventually pinpointed the problem and explained to me how and why it was happening) & Fred explained to me how he runs his shop while demonstrating the values FIWF stands for. Ive gone to Fred for several years and they always do great work at reasonable prices, but on my last visit I saw another reason to go there.Its the small things that separate businesses and one of them is their customer service,. Yesterday I got another example of Freds when I had to use their restroom. They have a baby changing table comparable to one used in a home complete with complimentary pampers and other baby items. Yes, it has nothing to do with servicing cars, but it shows if they want to take care of your baby needs while there imagine what care they do for your car.

UPDATE: Instead of addressing the issue described below, the owner elected to review my Google Reviews history…wtf, mate?Review follows below:Terrible Communication and excessively long time needed just to diagnose a problem. We knew from a previous repair shop we needed a U-Joint and EGR valve replaced. We called and communicated this need to them. We scheduled an appointment with them and dropped the vehicle off the evening prior to the appointment. At no point in advance did they communicate there would be a charge for diagnostics.They kept the car for two whole days without any communication. I called after they had the car for 24 hours, and asked if they at least had the parts we needed to replace the U-Joint. They said they don’t keep parts on hand at the shop, but can get them within an hour once the estimate is complete. 6 hours later, when the text message came in with the estimate, it did not included the U-joint replacement we knew we needed. When we called to set up the repair time, they said they outsource that repair to somebody else and didn’t do it themselves. I told them that was unacceptable and I wanted the car back right away.When I came to pick up the car, they charged me $152 for diagnostics. Again, not once was it ever communicated there would be a fee for the estimate. They were unresponsive and unempathetic to my argument about their lack of communication and excessive time needed to diagnose a problem we already told them about. I’m filing a complaint with the BBB.This is deceptive and predatory behavior at its worst. Do not use this shop.

We took our impala here, they did an inspection and called and said it would be 5,000 for all the repairs. We asked to just have our breaks done and rotars if need be. They called to tell us the car was ready to be pick up and it would be $1,500.Their service report said calibers, breaks, rotars!How is this $1,500 dollars.Looking up parts a consumers prices it totals at most $600. You mean to tell me $900 on labor for breaks. I’ve never in my life heard something so insane.

I took my 2014 Honda Pilot into them because I needed my timing belt changed and my car was making a clunking noise going over any type of bump. They did a full diagnostic test and let me know everything they found. I ended up having them replace the timing belt and everything that went along with that. As they were doing the work they found that one of my engine mounts was broken. They called me right away and were able to get the part in and put back together in a timely manner. Not to mention while they had my car they gave me a loaner at no cost. Everyone is so nice and they do an amazing job! my car is running great and doesnt make any more noises. At no point were they pushy and walked me through everything! Will forever take my vehicles to them.

They took great care of my vehicle from start to finish and have me the ability to check on the repair process every step of the way. They also took the time to inspect my car to make sure it was safe for me to drive and educated me on their findings. I will be back for all my repair and maintenance needs!

Im really torn leaving this review. Its going to be lengthy but honest. My AC wasnt blowing cold air. I attempted a recharge myself with no luck. So I turned to Google for a mechanic. I found Fix-it With Fred had amazing reviews so I made an appt. My appt was for a Friday so I dropped my vehicle off Thursday night. Friday morning I called to confirm I dropped my keys into the night box properly. I was told yes and that my vehicle had just went back. I was told I would get a text with updates when they finished the inspection. The customer service during the call was excellent. They close at 5:30 and wouldnt be back in until Monday. Well by 2:30 I had no update and as a working person with a life I need a vehicle. But I also didnt want to be impatient. So I called and asked for an update and was told they had injected dye to find the leak and I would have an update soon. Well 5:30 comes and nothing. So I went all weekend with no information or vehicle. Monday comes and I call for an update again. Im told theyre working up the report now and should get a text in about 20 minutes. It ended up being about an hour. Not a big deal considering Id already gone 4 days without a vehicle. But I wanna give all the details so you can .ake your own opinion. What happened next blew my mind. Ill admit their inspection is flawless. The text gave me a link to a full run down. There were pics to back up everything they found. While I admit this is above and beyond its also above what I asked for. No one informed me at any point prior that such a detailed inspection is done. To the point they even measured my break pads. I just wanted to know why my ac isnt cold. Brakes have nothing to do with that. So now that I had a list I called and asked for the price to repair my ac as well as the other issues found. I knew about most of them and at this time are not an urgent concern. However, if it was a good price I might as well have them fix it. Instead what I got was a shock. They wanted over $600 to replace part of my ac line. I watched videos online and called Auto Zone. To do it myself would cost about $100 in parts. Ac line, refrigerant, quick disconnect tool, and the manifold gauge set. The labor would be about an hour or so. Now I know they get a better price on parts than me. So that would mean about $500 for labor! I understand they need to make money. I also know a good mechanic isnt cheap. But that price difference blew my mind. I decided I would just do it myself. I asked for my bill for the inspection and it was $185. I didnt ask for all those extra parts to be inspected. I guess I should have asked inspection cost when I made my appointment but didnt think to. Every mechanic Ive ever been to only charged up to $60 for an inspection and usually have an answer with in a few hours of my appointmentv. If you want to know every flaw your vehicle has by all means this is the place to go. They were very thorough. I will say they have good things going for them like the very polite staff. The photos and list were alot nicer then any other inspection Ive ever had. So if you dont mind paying alot this place is great. But if your on a budget like me Id go else were. I know an employee is probably going to leave a reply to this at some point. Id like to recommend that you inform new customers up front that youre going to inspect every inch of their under carriage. That the inspection is lengthy and time consuming. That theyll have to wait longer than most shops. That the price reflects the amount of work done, which I understand. This could really save some confusion in the future. To be honest if I knew up front it was going to be this detailed I would have went else where. I didnt need the extra steps. Just a simple this part of your AC needs replaced and this is the cost.

I have found my new mechanic! Fred and Corey are awesome. To be honest, at first I was a bit skeptical because of all the fantastic reviews. But after talking with Fred and Corey for quite a while, I was reassured that they are not there to sell me a service, but to educate and let me make the decision on what I wanted done. Thats exactly what they did. They could have made my situation sound dire like many others do and push me to spend a lot of money for a repair that really wasnt necessary. Beyond that, I didnt feel like just another customer but a friend and they spent quite a lot of time in non-car related conversation with me. Never used them before, great staff and they know there trade. I work in Canton a good bit and live in Kent, if I have any issues with my trucks, they will go to Fit it with Fred in Canton.

We took our car here to find out why the battery kept draining and needed replaced once a year. They were extremely friendly and employed the most automated communication I’ve come across yet with a business. With that being said, I was told diagnostics couldn’t be run until I replaced the battery. Cost to replace the battery (3 yr) was $380 plus another $180 to run the test. This was so overpriced I couldn’t believe it. I took it somewhere else who ran the test without replacing the battery first, and told me exactly what needed done. I had the battery replaced (5yr) and alternator replaced for less than Fix it Fred was charging just to replace less of a battery and running the diagnostics. . . and I received an oil change thrown in for free.

This is the 2nd time Ive been to Fix-ir With Fred and both times were great. They give you a total and honest rundown of what needs repair immediately and things that will need work down the road. They show parts that are worn and explain all their findings. All staff are professional and friendly. When i called, they were able to get me in quickly.They had a loaner car available so I could leave my car, and get to work. Stopped today to get some advice about problem with my 09 Hyundai. I interrupted Freds lunch but he couldnt have been more accommodating. He took time and looked at my car and actually found something I had installed incorrectly. This impressed me because he could have kept quiet and said if I would bring it in he could take a look at it but he was honest and didnt. Didnt even charge me but he actually fixed my problem by pointing me in the right direction. I highly recommend Fix-it With Fred and thats what happened.

So my fiance and i both came to fix it with fred because of reviews. Yes they are a little over priced, but you pay for “quality” work or so i thought... and they were very friendly which is hard to find in a shop. My fiance had over $1000 in work done and was happy with how they treated her so when i had issues a few weeks later, i took my car there. It was making 2 different noises... they said they found the issue and it was the tire rods making noise. So i had them replace them and do an alignment as stated by them, it was required for the tie rod ends. Makes sense to me so ok. my car was still always pulling a little even after the “alignment”. Even when i left. I should have mentioned it, but didnt because they were all so nice and there no way they could have not done it?! Right?! Plus my tires were bald so also thought it could be the tires, Who knows.... well now a month or 2 later i just got new tires and the tire shop did a free alignment check and i told them dont bother, it was just done but they did anyway. And wouldnt you know it, they said my alignment was pretty terrible and there was no way it got that bad since my last alignment was only a month or so ago. I called “fix it with fred” to discuss this and spoke with corey who proceeded to tell me its because of the new “tires” thats why its out of line. Which i had already asked the tire shop(national brand not some small company) and they said new tires would not make anywhere near the difference in alignment that my car had. When i explained that to corey he told me i could have left the parking lot that day and hit a pot hole and that would have messed it up that bad. I asked if there was anything they could do to help since we have given them thousands of dollars in business in just 2 months and he basically said nope, sorry, have a good day. I wasnt looking for a handout, i would have even paid a discounted price if the customer service was handled correctly. When i told them that if theyre not willing to help then i wont be back or recommend them any longer, corey said “ok not a problem, have a good day and hung up”. Ive worked in customer service for 10 years and could never treat a paying customer this way.*EDIT* changed from one star to three. Fred reached out immediately after reading my review. He listened back to mine and coreys phone called and admitted a training error. He has since retrained corey on alignment issues and also reached out to me to apologize and fix the issue. He offered to re do the alignment but Unfortunately the other shop already did the alignment today so he instead offered to cover what they charged me for the alignment. I have to say thank you for that, and reaching out to at least make things rightThanks for making things right Fred!

I love this shop! I have never seen a more put together and complete report on my vehicle. Very professional and detailed report was shown to me with pictures of everything that was inspected on the car. This place is top notch and highly recommended.

The staff at Freds are the best. They got my car in quickly and they gave me a courtesy car to use while they had mine. Ive never had a mechanic shop give me a courtesy car to use while mine is out of commission, Im very grateful. They do everything they can to avoid any auto service they perform being an inconvenience for you. I will continue to have all of my service done at the Fix-it With Fred shop and I recommend them highly.***Roughly 6-8 months later (to the above post) and we are still having our Honda repaired and maintenance performed with the Fix-it with Fred team. Everytime we go its like taking our vehicle to a friend. I know that Im not alone when I say how frustrating and stressful it is when your car breaks down. I cannot stress enough how great the customer service is. The patienceand above and beyond courtesy we receive is unrivaled. I took my 2004 Mercury Sable here to see about having the A/C fixed since it was blowing warm air. Unfortunately, I was shown that due to the extensive rust underneath the car it would be a waste of money to fix it. Bad news for me but Fred and Jessica were clearly much more concerned with my safety than they were with making money. I was charged nothing for my inspection. Their honesty, integrity, and transparency will keep you going back whenever you need repairs - I will not use another automotive service as long as they remain open and I believe that will be for a very long time.

Fred and company are the most thorough shop you will find. With any service, they do a thorough inspection and they give you the measurements and photographs along with the explanations. They give suggestions for improvements, but no hard sell. Your car is in great hands with Fred.

Jessica was wonderful to deal with.. I had to get my engine swapped out with another and they were so quick and prompt and I couldnt believe they were done so quickly when they called the next day to say come pick it up. My car runs great again and Im definitely using them from now on to service all my vehicles and the rest of my family.. Jessica even found a way to save me money... Fred and Jessica are the people to see for whatever car problems you have... I never do reviews but they deserve it... I highly recommend them!!!!

The owner of the company was very thorough in explaining the details of service needed and provided. He seemed very knowledgeable when explaining why the parts needed replaced.

I usually never leave a written review on any experience in Google....so to start...I brought my car to Fred thinking I had something wrong with a ball bearing(low frequency vibration). Before I even had a chance to explain my issue to Fred, him and his staff redirected me to a local Chevy dealer because I still have a bumper to bumper warranty(great customer service). The dealership kept me in a grey area...so I brought it back to Fred. They did an all points inspection to find out exactly what the issue was. It wasnt the bearings...come to find out I had a bent control arm and bent strut. Freds team kept me updated the whole way through with pictures and text communication, giving me exact details on what was actually going on. Needless to say Im a very happy customer, Fred took care of my car stress. And even cost me 120 dollars less than the original cost estimate...I will only bring my car to Fred period......

Best automotive service I’ve ever had! Favorite part is the initial inspection and health report you receive through text/email. I know more about my car now than any other time. They didn’t push any work onto me that wasn’t immediately needed, but made sure I was aware of the good/not-so-good/bad parts of my vehicle so I can plan maintenance accordingly. Super fast with repairs to go along with with great pricing. I met Fred when I picked up my car and I can tell customer satisfaction and employee appreciation are top priority for the success of his business. I will only go here for future maintenance for my car and truck!

Very impressed with the positive customer first atmosphere at this shop. Theyre true professionals and I felt completely comfortable with my car in their hands. I thought it was a coolant leak but they informed me after inspection it was actually an oil leak. Because they were out of loaner cars (they have 2) the owner Fred even gave me a ride to my house while my car was being worked on. But they can also get you in a rental car if youd like.If youre a woman you should be confident coming here knowing they do have knowledgeable female staff members as well as men.They will even give you a tour of the garage itself (its huge!). They informed me theyve been at this location for 2 years but theyve been in business for 8 years altogether.The reviews arent lying to you, this place is the real deal and Im glad I chose them and found out for myself.
