I was very excited for my first auto detail. My car was so dirty inside and out.Firstly the interior wasnt terrible. Didnt touch my clearly filthy windows, the dash was very streaky, my seats were definitely not shampooed. The color of the interior was nice but nothing I wasnt able to do myself. I paid a lot extra for dog hair removal and they did good with that.The exterior? Absolutely awful. My windows werent cleaned, I had big splatters all over still, my chrome wasnt buffed, I still had mud all over my car caked under my truck and behind my bumper and anywhere the car couldnt be waxed hadnt been cleaned. I actually went to a car wash after my detail because it was that awful. My car is shinier, but Im not sure if it was from them or the car wash.... I wouldve been mad if o had just paid the $99 on groupon, but I was sick to my stomach that after added fees I paid $180 for the worst detail job in the whole world.I wish I wouldve read the reviews first. Front staff was nice. Overall got the car somewhat cleaned. But you can obviously tell it was rushed, they dont have an eye for detail of just dont care at all.

Only took 4 months to get my detailing scheduled after I got a groupon. My platinum cleaning could have been better. Not really the fault of the guys...they just have too many cars to clean and I am sure they are not getting paid that much. Management needs to get the boot or figure it out.

He said it would take an hour, it took 4 hours and he said I had to come back later that week to finish it. No credit card machine which he never mentioned. Asked me to arrange a money order or go get cash. No office. Gave me a folding chair by the garage where the men were smoking. I expressed concerns about the quality of the work and the inconveniences and he got really angry, cursing at me and said he didnt want a dime of my money anymore. Tossed me my key and I left. Wow. That was my scary adventure for the day. Never again.

Not worth 1 star. I called 3 separate times to make an appointment & each time the person said they would call me back & didnt. They redeemed my groupon over the phone prior to bringing my car in. The gentleman claimed he was doing so to allow for a survey to be emailed to me which would allow for a free future service. I never received a survey or an offer for anything free. After bringing my car in for an interior clean I was very disappointed in the outcome. I couldve done a better job cleaning it myself. Im not certain if they actually cleaned the console or used a gloss to make it look as if they cleaned it. There were still visible signs of dirt & obvious areas that were never touched. It was a total waste of money & the same unprofessional person who answers the phone also used profanity in my presence. I would not recommend top gun to anyone unless youre looking to flush $ down the drain.i wouldnt go back even if offered a free service.

Jojo at the Minnehaha location was professional, fast and friendly. He offered to fix extra work on my car and did an excellent job. It did take time to set up the appointment but in the end was worth the wait. Will recommend to friends.

Terrible experience- avoid merchant like the plague. This business is not focused on customer service, they over promise and under deliver. They used Group on to get customer leads and yet dont perform the work as agreed and in a timely manner. We had a terrible experience trying to get this merchant to completed the job as agreed and to provide timely updates as to the work. In the end the work took nearly 9 days to complete and yet the interior still had visible dirt on seats and body panels. RUN away from this business.

STAY CLEAR OF THESE THIEVES! I hired Top Gun Auto Detailing, located at 12651 Zenith Avenue, Suite # 101 Burnsville, MN 55337, to detail our truck. The package that I asked for was their Platinum Detail package that normally sells for $249 but was on sale for $124. The Platinum package includes the following:Complete exterior and interior cleaning3 stage buff and polishMotor cleaningClean and polish the rims and tiresI also received a call from Top Gun around 10 am asking me if I would like them cover the rock chips on the hood of the truck with touch up paint for an additional $40, I agreed to that.Top Gun was supposed to be open until 5:00pm that day for pick up. Around 3:15 I received a call from Lori Chmiel, the office manager, stating that they were closing early that day and asked if I could please pay her over the phone before they closed. I agreed to pay her over the phone.When I arrived at Top Gun to pick up the truck, I found the truck had been waxed, however there was still a bunch of wax on the truck that I had to clean off. The rims were covered in a black, greasy cleaner of some sort so I was required to clean the rims myself too. The rubber floor mats had been removed from the truck and placed in the bed of the truck without being cleaned, they were still dirty. The windows had not been cleaned, the rock chips on the hood had never been repaired and when I opened the hood, the engine had not been touched.I called the cell number I have for Lori immediately and left her a message stating that I was unhappy with the service and asked her to call me back. Lori did call me around 2pm on Monday November 23rd and told me that she would have to talk to the owner to see if they could do anything about it and that she would get back to me ASAP. By Tuesday afternoon I had not heard back from Lori so I called again and left a message, this time a gentleman by the name of Joe (or similar) called me back and said that he was the owner but had not heard anything about the situation. However, he said that he would call talk to Lori in the morning and call me back by Wednesday afternoon. I have not heard back from either of them and I have called and left two more messages since that time.I disputed the charges on my credit card, but rather than Top Gun replying to the dispute they went ahead and recharged them again, which is not only unethical but illegal!

If I could rate less than 1 star I would. I had to reschedule over 6 times working around their emergencies. I was asked to provide a rating before getting the services completed. After their scheduling issues for over 5 months, I requested they give back the money I paid. They asked for my address and said they will send a check. It has been 2 months and no check - refuses to return my calls. What a joke of a business!

It was the absolute worst detail job I have ever had!! They broke my sliding door on my mini-van. One piece of trim is missing. My car mats were left SOAKING wet in the back,so much so, that there was a puddle! On top of that, they didnt even clean them. Also, seats were left SOAKING wet. I had to leave the van running with the heat blasting on high for 5 hours just to partially dry them and floors. The windows were not washed-which I specifically asked if that was included included the detail and the answer was yes. I wish we could add photos because I took pictures of the horrible job they did. I have been calling the company for the last 3 days trying to get some sort of resolution, and they dont return calls because they know what bad business they do. I also am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Companies like this should not be in business and Groupon should not give them business either. The only reason I gave one star is because I had to to post this.

If you already purchased a Groupon or got this for a gift, save yourself the time and frustration and dont use it! They only cleaned half my windshield, didnt vacuum everything out before shampooing the floor, didnt shampoo my passenger seat at all, the list goes on...I also have an AstroStart installed in my truck that worked perfectly before dropping it off, now I push a button and nothing happens!!!! I tried to call them several times and they have yet to answer or get back to me.This place is complete crap and you should NEVER use them!!!!!

So disappointed with this service. I purchased the $39. Special off of Groupon and would be absolutely ferrous if i had spent a penny more. They did nothing more then a car wash service would have done. My floor was drenched and took over a week to dry out. Every hard surface was just wiped down with some type of armor all without even being cleaned first. After I checked my car I asked them to come touch up a few obvious things they missed. I had to finish the job myself once I got home, cleaning the smeared glass, mirror and dash and removing the dead lady bug in the back window that had been left behind.

Read all the reviews and please take all the low ratings seriously.My husband and I made arrangements to drop our car off on a Sunday and when we arrived, no one was there and no one answered the phone. We were coming from Minneapolis and drove about 30 minutes to get there. After waiting, we left and arrived back home. Two hours later we received a call back saying someone was there and ready for us, so we drove there once more. The guy took a look at the car and confidently stated that when he would be done with it, it was going to look very different. He said hed be done detailing it in 1 day, which I thought was ambitious. Despite feeling some doubt, I believed him.We did not hear anything about our car for about 3 days. Then they said we could pick it up. We went there and it looked no different! They agreed and said theyd like to keep the car a while longer to continue working on it. It took them one whole week to clean and detail it. When we arrived, the guy was sitting smugly on his sofa inside, relaxing. The lady rung us up and gave us a discount for the inconvenience. However, we still somehow ended up paying nearly $80 down from $150, even after our Groupon. Im not even sure HOW these charges were correct. I felt we were vastly overpaying, as the car was STILL in its original condition! The carpets were still dirty, the whole center console and the ashtrays had not even been touched. I can do a far better job, and Im definitely not a professional detailer. So so unhappy about the terrible service and terrible job quality. I really regret choosing Top Gun and feel absolutely ripped off.I wish I could give negative stars. Please dont waste youre money.

Shakopee LocationHad an appointment and they took a walk in before my vehicle. Tried to reschedule several times extremely difficult to get a hold of them on the phone. Drove to the location several times and every time it was closed during normal business hours. When I did get through to speak to someone I was promised a weekend appointment and the platinum package plus a platinum package gift certificate for future use. I arrived for my weekend appointment and the place was closed, I called, no answer, waited over 30 minutes and left.

HORRIBLE! Called and called and called to schedule an appointment...finally got them and they said SEVEN WEEKS to get an appointment...is that because I am using an Amazon Local voucher...seems so. Fortunately I was able to contact Amazon and get a refund and advised them to remove this business from their vendor list.

My wife bought a Platinum Living Social service from Top Gun for me for Christmas. It was my first ever detail job on a vehicle so I was very excited. I have to say their quality of work wasnt even worth the $84 she spent after the Living Social and their extra 20% off they were running at the time. When we went to pick up the car, there were water spots all over the chrome and the buffing job was clearly done in a rush job for the guys to get done on a Friday afternoon. In their defense, Lori did offer to keep it overnight and have them rebuff the entire car Saturday morning, which they did. It looked better but there were some other things with their work I was very dissatisfied with. The front windshield was streaked, in fact it looked worse than when I took it in. The interior wiping they did of the doors left streaking of some chemical looking substance too and the rear carpet was wet from the shampoo job for 5 days before I could put the mats back down. Would definitely not recommend going here!

The detail job was poor even at the Groupon prices. The worst part is they sold me a scratch removal service that they couldnt perform because the paint didnt come in, then refused to reimburse me! Wouldnt return calls. Very unethical company based on my experience.

I went to the Top Gun in Tucson on a Groupon. Got the platinum deal for only $99!! It was full interior and exterior detailing and I am SO HAPPY!! My GMC Jimmy didnt look this good when I got it!! Rodney was SO nice and they did an amazing job! Moving to Texas in two weeks and will be hoping they open up one in Dallas!! I called on a Thursday to schedule appt and they got me in Saturday morning!

If I could give this 0 stars I would got a platinum service from Groupon even though the reviews we bad should have listened to others. The business is like walking into beat down trailer home my car looked exactly how it did when I dropped it off minus all my chrome trim had smear marks all over them if your car isnt up to participate with their service call them theyll most likely have excuses like they did with me like didnt have enough people or time (late review from when I got my car detailed in 2014 but I had to leave a review they were so bad!)

This place is a joke I clearly told them not to do something to my car that they wanted 60 bucks for and when i showed up to pick up my car they did it anyways and she tried to tell me i had to pay for it i refused to do it and gave her 10 bucks extra and said you can tip the guy that ten bucks or use it towards that 60 that you think I owe that I am not paying... And on top of being a shitty location and a horrible office that looks like a place crack heads hangout they turned on my onstar in my vehicle that Ive never had before now i have to waste my time trying to turn it off... Do not buy this group on my inside of my truck looks like I cleaned it at home LOL

This place is completely awful. Took forever to actually get a hold of someone to set up an appointment. When I finally got in, the service I received was terrible. Wax was still on my car, rims werent touched, interior had so much visible dust, dirt, etc still there that it looked as though it hadnt been wiped down at all. Interior was soaked, there were pine needles under my wind shield wiper, bugs on front and dirt still on the exterior as well. Ive filed a complaint with the bbb and in doing so, I saw that they werent accredited (not exactly surprised) but they had a bbb accredidation sticker on the front door. Wish Id seen all these reviews before I bought the groupon.

Well... my car is cleaner than it was before I went there.... But I hardly think ArmorAll-ing everything constitutes Auto Detailing.I had a Crowd Cut deal that had just expired and they let me use it anyway so that was good. They did an alright job shampooing everything but they left behind a few stains. Nothing major. The problems I found overshadowed any good that came from this detailing.First, they ArmorAlled everything but without wiping everything down so it just sealed in all the dirt and dust that was on my dashboard. I actually wiped it down again about a week late and my paper towel was gray and dirty. There were streaks on every clear surface. My dash gauges all had water/wipe drip marks all over them. My radio deck and windshield too (when the light reflected off of it I couldnt even read it). They just didnt seem to care. You could tell they rushed (it took about an hour which surprised me). Another sign that showed evidence of this was that they took my CDs cases out of my door and tossed them in my back seat. Since it was so cold outside that day and my seats were wet from the shampooing, my CDs froze to my seat and the shampoo kind of damaged the plastic on my cases. Bags. Simple bags would have been a simple solution to this. Like every other detailing company.Second, the place was pretty dirty and dark. Walking into the front office was a little worrisome. It smelled/ looked like an old cat ladies house. Didnt really want to sit on the couch so I went elsewhere for a bite to eat.Another issue was their hours. Open 9-5 Monday to Friday. So... when Im at work. I got out of work a little early to make my appointment but they were very adamant that I get there right at 3:00 because 3:00 was their last appointment available. It was clear that when 5:00 hit, they were gone. Not a second later.Overall, not impressed. Terrible hours, poor workmanship and quality of work, dirty facility. The lady at the front desk was nice and again, my car was cleaned but really, dont bother.

I got the siler plus sealant package through an Amazon Local deal and it sounded like a bargain. I arrived on time (though the location was not very easy to find because it looks like its in an office park. My first impressions were that I walked into a bad home office. Ill leave it with that. The office manager was very friendly but I was trying to have a work conversation and she and what appeared to be other staff were having a loud conversation about scheduling and such which made it hard to hear. Though i was on time and apparently had a lot of cancellations that day (very cold) it took them 20 minutes to get to my car and I was stuck there. The process took a long time as I had been told but it was more like 2 hours than the stated 90 min. Whilst there one of the staff (who I took to be the owners son) just came in and sat. At one point he vaped in the office! Whatever the health concerns it seemed totally unprofessional. Thats why there are designated or recommended smoking areas in workplaces.I bought the deal but then had an upcharge because they considered my Mazda 5 an SUV and then another because they suggested that I should really buff out and microgrind surface scratches before the sealant. With tip (that I shouldnt have added once i really saw the results) I was out an additional $100. Not much of a deal.When I saw the exterior I was very pleased and the dash and floors looked great. It wasnt until I got home and saw it in natural light that I noticed that the interior was very poorly cleaned. I have 2 young boys and we feed them in the car regularly. The mess was by no means horrible but there there were easy-to-clean stains everywhere. I was able to work on them with a wipe on my own, and our back seats didnt even look like they had been moved to clean them so there were marks and stains from other hauling projects everywhere. To make matters worse, a door wasnt shut all the way and I hadnt noticed. So we went to start the car today after being gone for a week and the battery was dead. I placed a call as soon I got home but they closed early due to cancellations and I was on a plane the next day for a weeklong vacation.

I nomally dont ever write reviews but Jo Jo is scum who lies, doesnt care about his customers or employees. How do I know this you ask? I worked for him for a while and ran one of his shops, well tried to. I advise everyone to stay away. The way he makes his employees work will make your car worse most of the time. How? the veterans will use a gas powered pressure washer on the inside of your car and out, they use cheap harsh chemicles and they do not use any 3M products ever. no paint sealant . they will not 3 stage buff on your platinum package they will pressure wash and use a cheap polish and rub it in with a dirty rag. they do this for all their shops, Im only scratching the surface right now. oh and the good reviews you see are deals he made with customers for cheaper services, stay away you will not be saving money in the long run. oh icing on the cake for this company? Jo Jo hasnt paid his taxes for years and the reason why the employees seem disgruntled is because Jo Jo is always late on paying them sometimes by. nearly two weeks. Yet he will take multiple trips to California in a short span and buy his girlfriends son a car. youve been warned. Also I guarantee I will be getting threatening phone calls from him because of this but I feel llike people need to know, Im happily away from this POS company and on my way to being a PDR tech and with a company that actually pays their employees.

Not even worth 1 star!!! Do not use this service!!! My husbands comments are below regarding the Groupon I purchased for him for Christmas. He didnt mention the fact that Top Gun waxed right over an obvious bird poop smudge on the hood of the car. So obvious that it couldnt have been missed! Instead of taking the time to clean off the smudge, they waxed right over it and it is now impossible to get clean. Horrible horrible service, not worth a single penny!!!

Avoid this place. Got a Groupon for a car detail, but had to schedule 4 months out! Finally went in, and there was only one woman working there and she said it wouldnt be done for at least 4 hours. I felt bad for her because she was obviously stressed out, the reason she gave was that NONE OF THE EMPLOYEES SHOWED UP FOR WORK THAT DAY!! I dont know what kind of management the place is under, obviously its not very good though. I waited for four hours, they said they hadnt even started yet. So I cancelled the appointment and they couldnt reschedule for another 2 months, so I cancelled and got a refund from Groupon.

Do not go here. Horrible communication with scheduling and then do not answer their phone. They kept our car overnight after they said they would have it finished. When we went to go pick it up, the car was locked and we didnt have our keys to bring it home. Their site also stated they were closed the next day so we assumed our car was going to be there for a few days - when I called I got an answering machine. When I called the owner, same thing. Left multiple voice mails, no response. Then we drove there again the next day to at least get our car with the extra keys we had at home, and our car was miraculously done - done horribly with streaks all over it, but it was done....much to our surprise. We bought this as a groupon and was by far the worst service I could have gotten.

Please do not buy a Groupon for this place-- the location in Excelsior has no store front, no signage and no key drop. Contacting someone and scheduling drop-off and pick-up is extremely difficult. There is no call to let you know your car is done. The carpets were still very wet when I picked up my vehicle and the whole car smelled musty for weeks. Extremely disappointed.

Extremely poor customer service. Tried numerous times to contact via email and phone. Very difficult to schedule an appointment because of Groupon. Also, they have been removed from BBB because of so many complaints. GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Took forever to get an appointment and lengthy wait to get on the appointment schedule. Quality was average but wont be a repeat customer. Thats probably why they have numerous Groupon and other like offers.
