Really disappointing experience. I’ve heard such great things about Tea Leaf, so I travelled out of my way to come here. I tried to call to place my order over the phone, and was told they couldn’t take phone orders and that I had to place it online. I asked if I would be able to make specific requests, or if there was a “note” section since I like my drink a certain way. I was told there was, but there was not. So I placed my order, even though it wasn’t the way I liked. When I got to the store, I asked if I could add additional tapioca balls to my drink, and said that I was not able to make that request online. I was told they were not able to do that. I offered to pay for the additional charge, and they said they were not allowed… like seriously? I was baffled. The guy mentioned something about a “shortage”. Such BS. Also, I ordered a mango smoothie and it sucked. It was more of a slushee consistency and had ZERO flavor. It was way too icy and was almost like I was drinking snow. I definitely will not be coming back.

Stopped to get a drink. From the outside wasnt sure if it was open, but a quick phone call confirmed it was. Ordered an apricot green iced tea. (The list of tea choices is extensive) It was brewed fresh then poured over ice. They even added honey while it was hot. Probably the best iced tea Ive ever had outside of home. There are desserts also, but none were gluten free, so I couldnt indulge ☹

My favorite bubble tea in all of Buffalo! They have such a wide variety of flavors and are been open to combining multiple flavors as well. They also have great food! Highly recommend this spot

My favorite place for bubble tea. Many flavors to choose from — and also can choose either milk or fruit tea. There are also nondairy options for the milk tea. The boba pearls are the perfect texture every time. The staff is very friendly and helpful and sometimes draw smiley faces on my to-go bag :) I come here very often and haven’t been let down once. I would recommend this place to any bubble tea/tea/coffee/ lover!

Best Boba Tea in buffalo. The rainbow bursting boba are my favorite things in the world. I’ve tried a bunch of flavors and none have disappointed me. Highly recommend Tea Leaf for your Boba fix.

I never have a bad time here; I will sometimes come here with company and spend a few hours chatting. I used to only get fruit tea but ventured into milk tea recently and always receive good flavor suggestions from the staff. And on the off chance I dont like it, they are very nice about remaking me something I do like. They were out of earl grey for the milk tea the other day and it made me sad, but doesnt affect my love for this place!

Been coming here since I was a student at UB a few years ago. Now I live in Amherst and this is my go to bubble tea spot! Their teas are so good!! They have their own reward card system which I love also!The cakes are great also! My favorite is the carrot cake! You’ll love it even if you don’t usually like carrot cake!Ordered the chicken before- it wasn’t that great. Too hard/chewy.But yeah teas and desserts is deff the way to go here!

My teenage daughter got me hooked on Tea Leaf. I never knew how much I would like boba. My usual: green tea (pineapple and pomegranate) with pomegranate boba. I double up on the boba because those little bursts give me joy. I however do not like the tapioca. Theyre chewy to me. My daughter likes the tapioca though.

The employees are so kind. I definitely recommend this cafe for coffee lovers. Since I have food restrictions, I was so pleased that the staff was able to inform me about all of the ingredients of bubble tea. Good choice for vegetarians and vegans

I have gotten this place before and it has been good in my experience, but their online ordering seems to be a mess. we ordered and checked out online and then 20 mins later we went and our order was not even processed. So we did it again and it still did not go through. We asked the worker and she said it had been happening all night, and that we could try refreshing and re inputting in all 7 orders if we wanted, so we eventually gave up. Call orders would be very helpful, or at least an efficient system for online ordering.

Been going here for years since they opened and have turned a number of people on to bubble tea.

The food menu is a little sparse--they no longer have dumplings--but the desserts and rolls are still delightful. A very nice little place.

Ordered 3 drinks not one of them was right. 20 bucks wasted... all went in garbage Bc they where completely wrong. Called and they must of forgot to mute the phone cause they where laughing and making comments. And didn’t once offer to remake any of them.

I go out of my way and make a reason to drive by this bubble tea café for a drink. Tea is excellent! Service is quick. They also have spring rolls and desserts if you need a little snack. Would love to see more Asian food on the menu though.

Decent place. Definitely a likable atmosphere with courteous staff. The bubble tea here is as youd expect. I have had better experiences in other cities but for Buffalo and for the student community, I think its pretty good. Been here several times and I still come back so...

Best bubble tea in the area

This cafe is the best one I have ever been to! Me and my boyfriend usually stop in once a week to grab some bubble tea. The entire staff is extremely friendly and hardworking.

Theres no place place that does it the same as Tea Leaf. Try the almond red bean, its to die for.UPDATE: the past 3 months the flavor has CHANGED possibly different type of tea and def less flavors being added. Noticed there is now an upcharge to add extra flavor on the mobile ordering menu. Less flavorful. Oof.

I dont have the highest level of expertise in the bubble tea world, but this place is amazing. Dont know what you want? Just ask the barista for her recommendations and they will make a drink to your specific liking!

Once you walk into the place you are amazed. Its so big and beautiful. They have all different types of foods and drinks. Like coffee, tea, and even bubble tea (milk tea). They also have good looking ice cream. And there is even chocolate too. I got the sponge candy and it was to die for. This place is amazing.

The girl at the register was so kind and patient. She found me a paper menu and described every dessert to my young son. She accommodated every order. Thank you. This was my first time here. It was nice to have the late hours

This place is great. A very large selection and a helpful staff makes it easy for a newcomer to bubble tea to find what they would like. The interior is nice and relaxing. The tea (especially the Japanese matcha w/ red beans and pearls) is wonderful! The pearls are really soft and wonderful and come in a lot of different varieties. Why four stars? The whole mall looks run down and creepy and there is trash coating the parking lot in front of the Cafe. It makes it look kind of sketch from the outside. I recommend but not with a date.

Tea Leaf is alwaysssss delicious. Never once got a bad tea from there. The staff is always suggesting new things to try. Quick and courteous service.

Absolutely the best bubble tea available in the area. The possible flavor combinations are over whelming and endless. If anyone loves tea this is an absolute must on the bucket list. They also have bursting Boba, an interesting experience no one should go without.

All around this place is a must go. The tea is to die for, the staff is pleasant, the drinks are inexpensive, the place is trendy, and the soothing tea aroma makes you feel relaxed and overall makes it feel authentic. I would definitely reccomend this to anyone, including vegetarians and vegans because those groups are easily accommodated on the menu. Since its so inexpensive and even vegans are accommodated for, this is the PERFECT place to bring a large group. Service is also very quick, so even if theres a long line, it will move fast.

The bubble tea was really good, and they even have exploding bubbles there which have fruit juice in them and pop in your mouth kind of like gushers. The service was fast and the guy working was knowledgeable and friendly, explained anything we had questions about. Best bubble tea in the area! Ive always loved tea leaf. Ive been going there for years. Polite workers and very comforting atmosphere. Unfortunately, they dont do pho here anymore (which I sincerely miss) but they certainly have alternative snack food options.

Love it, great place to go if you want a calm and quiet place late at night. I tried cold taro bubble tea and it was great. I was most struck by how knowledgable the the staff was about ingredients of their products and dietary restrictions in general. I was satisfied to believe that their bubble tea is halal(my subjective judgement). They also confirmed that their bubble teas are vegetarian. All in all, give a try and you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious. The epitome of a drink place. Get a nice cold drink, relax with some friends. Its a fantastic place and the owners do not care if you end up chilling there for hours at a time.I recommend trying a passion fruit guava smoothie

They asked me if I wanted my bubble tea without the tapioca. I was surprised people order bubble tea like this. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?! WITHOUT TAPIOCA ITS JUST TEA! I actually like the bubble tea here there is alot to choose from.

If youre a college student this place is awesome. If youre an adult, get in and out fast or go when its slow. Good stuff for a good price, just too crowded at night with college students for my liking. If youre into socializing, a great hangout place.

Stick to the tea and bubble tea. Depending on who is working, your espresso drink may be made poorly or just wrong. Their tea selection is diverse and expansive, and they have dozens of different flavors for bubble tea. Theyre tapioca is always cooked perfectly and they pretty much never run out. The tea kettle is served in a classy iron kettle and theyll give you as many cups to go with as you want.Highly recommend the tea options, but steer clear of the espresso!

They are so nice! I didnt like my flavor and I told them they said they would change with no extra charge. They were super nice about it!

Amazing boba tea

I loved this place when it first opened up. Over the years the maintenance has gone down a bit, parts of the floor were sticky. Tables not wiped down properly, and bathroom werent fully cleaned. But the buttle tea is really good, consistent and has a large variety.

Quaint, quiet cafe to hang out, get work done or just a peace of mind with a hot or cold beverage. I love the caramel apple cider myself.

The staple for bubble tea in the Western New York area. The variety and customization options that Tea Leaf offers for bubble teas are hard to find anywhere outside of big cities, plus they have a great coffee and brewed tea selection. Personally found the vanilla chat latte to be pretty good. Staff is always super friendly and helpful with questions and suggestion requests.

They have bubble tea!!!!! If you like coconut, do yourself a favor and order the crack tea. You wont be disappointed. They have one of the best variety of flavors and boba. We hit them up every time were visiting in Buffalo.

It’s my fault, I came to a tea place and ordered a Latte and my wife ordered a cappuccino. Don’t order coffee drinks here! Atmosphere is great and if you like tea, bubble tea, etc you will love it. They should just take coffee drinks off the menu

Im a lot older then the average clientele 48 to be exact. Me and my girlfriend went into tea leaf and tried it. A lady in line and the gentlemen cashing us out helped us on how to order. The tea was nothing I expected it was awesome . It was worth the wait and I can not stop thinking about it. YUMMY!

Great flavor combinations, keeping it fresh with new special recipes the time. They should offer more small plates and munchies and maybe some table games.

Cant get enough of it! One of my favorite to go to places, it has a great atmosphere, nice staff and inexpensive prices.The cup is really big it usually takes me long time to finish it lol, which i like ( it gives more time to enjoy the flavor!).

Really great tea. Interesting combinations - gotta try something a bit more crazy next time. Pretty nice space and convenient location if you want to go to a movie right before/afterwards. Mens bathroom is full of graffiti and the lock is broken on the bathroom door (and apparently, from what I was told, the womans bathroom door lock is also busted) so watch out for that - its a 1 person bathroom FYI. Had an older gentleman bust in and take a seat right next to me as I was washing my hands 2 feet over. Definitely an interesting experience... otherwise, great place!

Clean, prices are reasonable. The drinks we ordered were excellent- exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was ok...lots of tables/chairs but decor could be warmer, cozy and intimate and perhaps add on of wall art.

Enjoyable and cozy atmosphere with a large selection of loose leaf, bubble, and other vatiety of teas to choose. They offer cups, pots, and small app style meals. Check them out to study or hangout and have a drink.

Theres a huge, great selection, and the staff is very knowledgeable on everything, so if youre not sure about what to get, its easy to learn. Great place to grab a drink later at night. Not terribly expensive for quite the large smoothie either.
