Storage could use an elevator, really nice place otherwise. Would recommend for moving needs

Walked in at 6:58pm when they close at 7 and got the same customer service that Id expect early to mid morning. I needed to rent a car dolly and they walked me through the features and safety information that I needed with a smile. Great experience

Always very professional. I just happened to go in on a very busy Sunday and it was very nice to see them handling it so well. It may have been 15 people in line and it was still very fast

On site employees were knowledgeable about the products they offered all except the safe drive extra protection plan they never even offered me, ended up really needing it when I was halfway across the country fully loaded cost me over $200 extra because they didnt offer me the $5 extra option at check out. Their roadside assistance got help to me quickly sure, but for all the money I already spent just renting their equipment youd think they would be more helpful. In summation overpriced, never again will I use uhaul

Everything was fine until my sister & I went to return the rental. The young Caucasian man came over like he was going to process us out then walked away to help out another Caucasian man leaving us to wait. My sister finally got out of the truck 10 mins later to ask another guy for help. Its only right first come first serve. FYI your in the wrong city if you have a racial issue! Customer service was even worse!!

True character is defined as what one does when no one is looking. This place has no character. This place is dishonest. After damaging my truck they refused to do the right thing and called me a liar. I did all the right things. I submitted a claim using their insurance company. I sent photos and an estimate as requested. The insurance company declined my claim alleging that the location was disputing my claim and had, video proof.I visited the location and spoke with the owner and the manager that claimed to have, Video that proved that they did not damage my truck. I politely requested that they show me that video. They refused. One would think that if the video exonerated them they would be eager to share such evidence. But they know it does not. And they know it. Instead of doing the right thing and using their insurance for the very reason they carry it, they choose to be dishonest. I would like to strongly encourage you to not patronize this location.

We like their service. On 06/23/2020 we flu from Florida to Minnesota to grab our things we left in storage area. We didnt have time to stay long in Minnesota and wanted come back to Florida ASAP. 06/23/2020 at 5:46 pm we went to U-HAUL office and the manager in 30 minutes helped us to schedule a shipment our items to Florida.We got that U-box earlier that we expected. Great service and that manager just did a great job.

Its a decent place they treat there customers as the #1 priority for everyone but 4 stars is what I would put as for the quality is good but the work at this place is mainly outdoors work and driving vans around but most off of all there employees are short handed.

The ability to rent and mange storage units via the app is pretty useful, but the unclear check in instructions made initial entry harder then it needed to be.

Great service very friendly and professional staff. Installed a better hitch for my car than the website said was right. They made sure it wasnt to close that what I would tow, wouldnt hit the bumper going down hill.

I’ve never written a review before but I had such an awful experience I need to share.Would give 0 stars if that were an option. Will never use UHaul again. Moved from Phoenix to St Paul and used a UBox. It was anything but convenient and the customer service has been shameful regarding my complaints. The box was late, I missed my move in time because of it, had to take extra days off of work after just starting a new job, when I finally got the box they said it was in storage the whole time and no one told me, I brought the box home and it was locked and the staff didn’t know and I had to bring it back to have the lock cut off, I filed multiple complaints, haven’t received any follow up... overall a terrible experience and will not use UHaul again.

Convenient and helpful staff. Not all the tech worked though, so I had to go in instead of using the mobile option.

My order got cancelled due to late pickup and the owner Alex overhead me telling staff how inconvenient this was being I Ubered here to pickup the truck. He quickly found exactly what I needed at a location 1 mile down and even arranged his staff to give me a ride over right away. Great awareness and customer service on their part to avoid an unpleasant experience even though I was in the wrong by being late. Very much appreciated!

They helped me find a size trailer that would work for my needs and the size of my vehicle. I couldnt be happier!

None of the storage units have direct access from the outside... so if youre storing an entire home, its a long walk to your unit. Also, even with 24hr access, the Big garage type door closes when the office closes, youll need to use a small entrance door to get your stuff into your unit... and youll need to swipe your card everytime you go inUpdated to 1 star after 1 month - we were given 1 month of storage free with the 1 way rental of our moving truck. Guess whos bank account was charged even after I was told it wouldnt be? Corporate cant help you, you can only be refunded by the office that you rented the unit with and then its 3-5 days until you can get your money back even when they admit they are wrong.

All the employees there when I am on site are super nice and friendly. All the equipment is clean and the store is super clean too. I feel like I am in a movers paradise. They have everything I could want including nifty tape to distinguish what goes where in each room. The storage, I can only talk about U-Boxes. I love my U-Box, every time I have called the team at this site has always been johnny on the spot at getting me my U-Box as soon as possible. Sometimes I have even gotten same day service. At other U-Haul locations it seemed like it was like pulling teeth.I have had some troubles getting calls to the store routed to the Call Center because this U-Haul location is so busy. However, I will take that any day because of how great the facility is when I go on-site. The manager Alex has done some great stuff there and really works hard at giving out the best customer service.I do not think I can express how nice this U-haul location is. From what I can tell, the storage is super nice as well. I will recommend this location to people in the future.

Great service!!! I rented a uhaul they said they only had one available for over night I had trouble I couldnt off load it in time so u called in the morning explained my situation they told me instead if having it back by 8am like I was suppose to add long as I had it back by 4pm I wouldnt be charged an extra day. Great customer service would definitely recommend them and would use again.

Communication wasnt consistent and time was wasted. I was told if I downloaded the mobile app and created an account the check in process would be very quick and would almost entirely be done from my phone. It ended up taking a half hour and most of the time I was waiting at a counter as staff clicked buttons on a computer and asked me questions I already answered multiple times. The time spent creating an account was for nothing. The app also had problems and didnt show my reservation. The fuel gauge wasnt where the contract stated it was and it took an additional 15 minutes getting the contract corrected.They told us that if we need the truck longer, just give them a call and theyll extend it for free since we could technically book it for 24 hours for the same price. When I called to extend the time, the person on the phone told me it would be $30 extra. I was put on hold 2-3 times before it was confirmed that I would not be charged. I refueled the moving truck to what the corrected contract said, and then got a receipt the next morning showing they charged me a fee for fuel. Spent another 10-15 minutes over the phone before they said it would be refunded.

Reserved a trailer online the night before and it was ready when I got there. Staff was helpful and friendly and got me on my way. This is a very large and busy location. There was large line initially when I got there. The parking area is small and its not overly clear where you should park your car. For rental, pull in by Wendys, drive past the canopy and there are some parking spots there, otherwise, there are some other parking spots near the trailers - but youll need to walk around the building then.

They like putting you on hold too much..

Lowest price of any rental place. Always good customer service. Only complaint is that on weekends around the first of the month, there is usually a long wait (20 mins) to get service. Make sure to make a reservation online AND do the online check-in to save time waiting in line.

Clean and well-organized in/out of rental vehicles

This place will display one price and attempt to charge your card a separate price without reason or displaying said price. The owner will argue with you over the debit card you use while attempting to explain the shady pricing and charges and overall provides and exceptionally poor experience.Yes, I know the increased charge amount is a hold. Yes, I know its there to prevent loss to the company. Overcharging by $85 is not loss prevention, its temporary theft.

Ive had to use u-haul a few times now and I definitely like thus facility the best. They hook everything up for you and teach you all you need to know if your first time towing a trailer. The first place I went I had to learn on my own so it was nice seeing some tips and tricks. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Unbelievably slow service. Ridiculous to have employees standing around while the line is 8 deep with only one employee assisting at a snails pace. Better policies should be adapted.

Jacob Bruce Owner refused to give me a service I paid for. He was rude and said even though you rented a trailer i have no confidence you will bring it back within 4 hour. When i ask why he looked at my brother and notion to him . I said what about him ? My brother is African American. And I am biracial but Im of lighter skin. This was completely race motivated. Im so hurt that there people in this world still so blatantly racist. I have called the customer care team to report JACOB BRUCES behavior. He would not provide a solution I was completely and utterly treated like a 2nd class Citizen.

Ok so this place is well stocked.. But not enough hands to get you in and out so plan for over an hour to get what you need.

Best Uhaul Customer service I have encountered thus far. The employee was very knowledgeable and polite. The store was neat and clean.

They customer service was excellent (on the phone and in person). I believe the person that helped us name was Paul, he was great, he was friendly, he answered all of our questions, he was polite, and it was just all around professional and friendly! I would definitely recommend people to go there.

Customer Service is TRASH, They tell you one price then turn around and highway rob you. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO THIS LOCATION.

There is usually one person helping inside with a long line of people. The loading area for the storage units is always full of cars and there is only 6 parking spaces for that whole storage area. One of the employees threatened to kick us out while we were trying to off load from a trailer parking area and there was no where else to park; yelling at us in the parking lot instead of talking to us like a civilized person. Would definitely not recommend this location.

Was moving and in a high need for a truck. Ended up in money that I supposedly owed. Never was able to get my truck. That really hindered my move and screwed me big time. Couldnt rent it with then who I was with either. Who didnt owe anything just guilty by association. I normally have had any problems with this company.

Supposedly they have a 100% guarantee to return unused packing materials. So I made several trips, bought hundreds of dollars worth of boxes, tape, packing material, etc. I ended up with one unopened U-Haul mattress bag. I didnt want to throw it away, so even though returning it was hardly worth my time, I stopped in to return it.The cashier that day was a multiply-pierced obnoxious teenager who saw me walk in with the U-Haul bag. She immediately suggested that I had stolen it. There was a young man at the next cashier, who echoed her accusation. Bad enough. They demanded to see a receipt, and I told them that their computer could pull up my receipt by swiping my credit card. (seen it done at that store before) I told them I had the credit card I used to purchase the item, and would they please swipe it. The cashiers refused to run my card, and continued to make ridiculous accusations about me having stolen a plastic mattress bag worth less than ten dollars. I left.100% guarantee my eye.

This location was efficient and very professional. I would definitely suggest them if you are looking to rent a truck. In and out in 15 mins or less, and no surprise charges.

Had a transmission cooler installed. Good. Paid to have tow hitch holes tapped and they tapped 2 wrong holes, got 3 holes correct, then didnt tap 2 necessary holes. There is no logical reasoning behind which holes they tapped and why they didnt tap the others. I basically paid them to give me false hope and another errand. UPDATE: I called the general manager and he assured me they were tapped. I asked specifically what holes he tapped. I have a third-party hitch they wont install, he told me he tapped the holes that the hitch he installs uses even though he knows I dont have that. Brilliant. I also asked him if he did the 2 middle holes in the bumper to which he responded No, our hitch doesnt use that. Brilliant again. I ask if he saw my paper I dropped off with the keys that had a damn diagram of what I needed tapped and the specific hole locations and sizes and he said oh I see that now. I might add Im a mechanical engineer (without the resources of M10 and M12 taps) that is very patient, but this I cant stand trying to rationalize why itd be ok.

I love this place! I feel that the staff is helpful, they treat their clients respectfully & are very nice to everyone. Its a helpful place, the monthly rates are decent, & I feel like my property is very safe there.

Staff is rude and in incompetent! They sold me storage for 2 bedroom home. We show up and its a 5x10 crawl space. They dont have anything big enough. I called 2 weeks before the move and was assured the space was plenty big enough. I talked with Alex the manager. Apparently its my fault for believing their web site.

Employees are never happy, probably caused by poor company culture. Obnoxious red blinking lights on the security cameras make you feel like they assume youve stolen something.... in a store full of cardboard boxes. Just waited on hold for 45 minutes to see if they have a trailer hitch Id like to have installed. Never again, U-Haul.

The manager here went out of his way to correct a misunderstanding and small problem we had with having a hitch installed. It was great to go somewhere where the company shows they truly value the business they receive and know the value of sending customers away happy. Thanks so much.

Very helpful. I was able to get a Uhaul truck in no time. The staff was quick to help me find one and also quick to help me return it.

Ive been here three times and two out of the three times the wait was very long. But the staff are generally helpful and polite once they got to you. One of the vans I rented it was brand-new and in great shape, the other one had a railing loose and made an annoying banging sound the whole time we drove.

Very helpful staff. They got me the trailer I needed and explained the contract and insurance options clearly. I imagine that Ill be using their services again.

This is an ok place. Im not a fan of having a very loud alarm sound off whenever someone forgets to swipe their card to gain entry. I feel that the other customers shouldnt have to hear that loud piercing noise. There should be a way to alert the staff but not cause a disturbance to everyone there. Also the containers in each storage unit for potential mice to be caught really creeps me out. Seems unsanitary to be expecting a mice to be in my unit and to need a trap for it. Also you cant use your own lock. You have to purchase the specific lock they sell.

I went in to get a hitch to tow a profit car that needs work since I sell cars and have 7 cars and only two drivers. I went to the Crystal store to get my 26 truck and discuss using the hitch with the owner at that store. Went to the Brooklyn park store and was told that he dont feel comfortable letting me use the trailer because it sounds suspicious. Im a car salesman with every title and all proof. Why should I get a tow truck and risk damage when I already rented a uhaul and can use a trailer... I guess since I was a young Black woman driving a benz that owns an Audi truck also thats what was suspicious. Worse experience ever. Me BIGDOG as he call himself could not give me a real reason why I couldnt use a trailer. He kept saying because he is not risking losing a trailer. I said you rent out trucks and trailers for a living dont you take a risk everyday.... Im really pissed off... I only needed the trailer to move one car that is not running the rest of our cars are drivable....

Slow lines but Great Customer service

Incompetent. Went there to have the tow wiring in my truck upgraded for a new trailer. Had to go there three times to even get it looked at. When the pro finally did, he told me everything was A-Ok and all the wires were connected. BS. I installed that 7 way plug myself and quit when I couldnt figure out where to pick up the missing signals. I just got a shoulder shrug when I pointed out the unconnected wires dangling from the backside.(Also, a different guy gave me a sales pitch about how difficult it can be to understand electrical wiring. Did I mention that I have a a degree in electrical engineering? Dont lecture me, kid. I understand electricity, I just dont have the time or schematics to hunt down the missing signals in my truck.)

So if you want to rent anything from uhaul it can be done either online or walk in to the store. They say online that if you use the online feature it will save a lot more time then going in and taking with a store employee. I found the online uhaul 24/7 truck share to be extremely confusing app for my phone. I eventually got it but Im a standard millennial and I was having a hard time renting a truck on the app. I fear for others who find themselves in the same place that i was in.

With all the employees here why is there only one working the desk inside. When I picked up I had to wait in line and when I dropped off I had to wait in line. Why have such a big counter with 3 computers and only use one. Not very good customer service in my opinion.

No offer of helping a lady struggling to carry, lift and load 20 bound boxes to her car. Customer service and industrious lacking.

I returned my truck to the front of the second line and budged in front of everyone else waiting in the first line. Slick system.

Completely rude customer service and they blew all the fuses in my car to then blame the cars condition instead of admitting they improperly jumped the car after messing up the wiring on the hitch install. Dont use this company for a hitch install!!!!

Our truck was right on time. There was a small waiting area with toys that kept my 3 year old occupied while waiting.

Classic situation where someone is miserable and hates their job, so they go out of their way to try not to service you in anyway possible. Talking over you, being rude, short and snippy….Just overall unpleasant. !!!
