Bought the truck thinking I was getting everything I wanted, but turns out they messed up and charged me more. Sales guy didn’t know what he was talking about when I went to get the truck, finance guy seemed to be nice but didn’t enter correct amount into the system so it messed up and they had to charge me more money for the truck when they told me I was getting the plates for the truck and that’s why I had to pay more. They lied to my face when I paid them for the plates and stated I would get them in the mail. Ended up not getting the correct plates and had to play phone tag in order to talk to anyone. Very unhappy with their way of business and will never return or refer anyone to this place. Staff there seem to not have any form of information on what’s what, and they don’t seem very educated on what their trying to sell. Wouldn’t suggest this dealership over any other dealership.

Alan is what customer service used to be....genuine, attentive, informative, respectful and knowledgeable. He keeps the customer informed and immediately notifies you if there is an unexpected delay. In my case that was 10 minutes. Reason? He was helping several physically challenged customers into the waiting area. Alan is a gem. The sales side (Dave W.) is excellent. The service department definitely created some hiccups. (The wrong people in management) In the end the other people in service worked it out, which is all the customer is asking. Unnecessary headaches, but still 4 stars because they made it right in the end.

We purchased a 2021 Suburban from Pat. Talk about a great guy. ZERO pressure, he did what a great salesman does, he let the product sell its self. He answered every question, and with a vehicle this size and with these options, there were about a million questions. I have bought several vehicles over the years, new and used. I can honestly say Pat was one of the best, if not the best we have worked with. Ted in finance was amazing as well. I dont think we have ever had a more pleasant experience in a car dealers finance office before. You are not only a customer, but they treat you like a friend. I am very impressed. We live almost 40 minutes from the dealership, but the trip is well worth it. Strongly recommend you give them a try. I do not think you will be disappointed.

Ive always owned a Ford, and I found a Chevrolet Equinox, one owner 2012 with 70,000 miles that I love!! Purchased it from a smaller Chevrolet dealer outside the metro right before Temps fell to -17 degrees and I needed a new battery!! Luther Brookdale was incredibly helpful, answering additional questions I had about my Equinox, and was over impressed with ensuring I was well cared for as there customer.

I brought my car in again for the same issue that they couldnt figure out last year. Because the warning lights went off they said they would not be able to find the problem AGAIN. I am sure when my warranty expires they will find the problem. NEVER GOING BACK THERE. NEVER....

This is regarding the service department. Overall nice folks. My issue was around multiple crew not wearing masks correctly during my visit to get my oil changed. Like below their chin wrong. Why even wear one?? I know for some this will not be seen as a big deal, but for others who do value mask wearing at this time I would avoid this service department. I didnt appreciate someone climbing in my car without a mask on personally....

Had to get new keys and a fob made- staff was pleasant and professional and the waiting roomIn comfortable with plenty of snack and drink choices. Also the cost was about $100 less for my service than another dealership in golden valley that I checked out. Good value.

Bretts personable sales approach and patience with two senior citizens made our experience a very good one. At the end of the purchase you get to deal with Ted the finance guy. He was happy to help you and very efficient with a no pressure style. These two employees work attitude show they are happy with their jobs and made it a positive experience. A good place!

In early June 2021 after owning my 2018 Yukon since Sept 2019, the ac stopped cooling. I was under 36K miles but 4 weeks out of warranty per the delivery date. I called the Wayzata Gm dealer 3 times, and each time they told me they were not going to help me despite my low mileage and barely out of warranty status. Frustrated, I began looking for another shop to fix this issue. My journey took me to several shops where they each told me my truck needed a special coolant/piece of equipment that was hard to find. My husband found one such shop in Plymouth Tire and Auto. When I arrived I spoke to Paul the manager - Paul explained to me that this could likely be an issue he had seen with a previous customer and that she found help at Luther Brookdale Chev/GMC where it was eventually covered under warranty. Long story short, after arriving at Luther GMC in Brooklyn Park I was assigned to Service Consultant Cris Ambriz who helped me work with GMC Corporate to the cover the $2500 cost of replacing the ac coolant lines. Cris was professional and attentive and was able to get my truck fixed and back to me in a short amount of time. I cannot say enough great things about Cris and the whole team over at Luther GMC. Thanks Cris - youve got lifelong customers in both myself and my husband!

Muffy and Luke did a GREAT job helping me out. I came in for an oil change and little did I know I was leaking gas. I’m suppose to leave to head out of town on an ice fishing trip up to leech lake and was very concerned about this. They reassured me I was in the right hands. They ran around doing everything they could to help me out in such a predicament. They fixed the issue, took care of a low beam headlight that was out, and finished my oil change. These guys saved my life. Rudy was also very good to work with. He sat with me in the lobby reassuring me these guys were on top of it. Top notch team all around!

Bought my car ( Chevy Cruze 2011) at this location, 2 years go by and found out the car’s transmission was going out.. when I purchased the car they said the maintenance was kept up and was a great vehicle that was well taken care of. Once I heard the bad news about my transmission, Chevy said they could fix it for about $5,000.. total price more than the value of the car. Chevy pulled the reports and said there was “no consistent reports,” of this car being serviced at this dealership. Not sure where the misunderstanding occurred but I would not buy another car from here again..

I ordered a 2020 corvette 8-8-19, my check was cashed and it has been almost 2 years and I have not even picked out the color or options. I see new ones being dropped off and heard the are selling sometimes double sticker price. I am assuming they used my place in line to profit more for the dealership. My company and family have purchased many vehicles from Luther thru the years, looks like I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I took my 2015 Silverado in for a ticking noise and rough acceleration. Luther diagnosed a collapsed lifter (common problem with these engines) and quoted $5,300 to fix the problem. (1 year out of warranty, only 66,000 miles)I took my truck elsewhere for a second quote due to the absurd cost for a low mileage vehicle. Turns out the spark plug wire was loose causing the ticking noise and misfire.Don’t take this service departments word for anything that’s wrong with your vehicle. Take it to a non-dealership and get a second opinion. I will never go here again

Brad (salesman) and Ted (finance) were very helpful and put me in the car I wanted. This was my first purchase from a dealership and they broke things down for me and for the most part were very transparent. The customer service at Luther seems excellent; Brad pulled the car from the body shop early so I could test drive it at a time convenient to me, as I live over 30 min from the dealership, and when it came time to finance, Ted worked out some very agreeable terms with my financer that were much better than the original offer. I drove away happy.

Other than an excessively long wait time, I was pleased with the service and courteous treatment by Service Advisor Drew Johnson. Since I had a 12:15 appointment for a simple oil change which was not completed until past 2:00 I suspect the need for some scheduling improvements. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no attempt to up-sell any unnecessary additional services.

Once again FANTASTIC experienceduring routine service work on our Equinox. All areas set up for social distancing--very much appreciated by us seniors! Easy on-line scheduling! Tyler explained what service was due & provided estimate. Work was done in a timely fashion--complete with carwash--while my husband waited. Tyler is EXCELLENT representative of GREAT Luther customer service!

Dropped my car off for a diagnostic, picked it up the next day to see that somebody broke my side mirror, the plastic piece on the back is completely off. I called and spoke with Joe who was assigned to my car and basically told me its not their fault because it wasnt already in perfect condition. The mirror was already broken but there is no reason for that part to be taken off. I have gone through car washes with it like that and it never fell apart. I will never be going back.

In the time of covid this was a perfect buying experience. Scott and his team were ready to assist and talk options. This is my third car I have purchased from Luther. Wanted to deduct 1500.00 from trade. Offer 5165.00 Never really got answer. When said I will put brakes on car. There answer was I cant help what you owe on trade! Put brakes on car. Went on line ask for quote 6500.00 never saw my car! Why the difference?

Purchased a used 2013 Buick Enclave from them. The salesman, Steve Wick was very knowledgeable about the operation of the car. I would definitely recommend Luther Brookdale Chevrolet if youre looking to buy a vehicle! Brad our salesman was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He even let us bring our dog in the showroom!There financial department was very pleasant and efficient! He made financing a breeze!We decided to buy a topper a few days after we bought the truck. Brad our salesman worked with Terri in the accessories department to get us the style topper we wanted at a good price! During this pandemic we didnt want to travel to the cities. Terri was very accommodating. She said they would store our topper until we thought it was safe for us to travel there!Overall this was an A+ buying experience!

Be prepared for service reps to push services you dont need. I went to this dealership for an oil change. While in the waiting room I saw service representatives push all sorts of filters and flushes on customers. I saw a sales rep try to push replacing two tires for $498 on a little old lady that truly didnt look like she had much money. When my vehicle was done I was told I needed a cabin air filter, engine air filter, and a brake fluid flush. I replaced my cabin filter myself less than 2 months ago. My engine air filter was replaced less than a year ago. Per my owners manual my brakes dont need to be flushed for 2 years. My service rep was actually very nice, professional, and energetic. Im certain that unreasonable quotas are being demanded of them. Its very sad to see these practices just running rampant. I didnt see one customer that wasnt being pushed additional services than what they came in for. I think its shameful and predatory. I feel bad for the service reps and for the customers.
