Never been here before. drove from Chicago to try the food here...we were actually at another restaurant waiting for a table for over half hour when we decided to come here instead. Told there was no wait, and we were seated immediately upstairs. the place is huge - filled with all kinds of interesting decor and old pictures of Europe and 50s-70s style advertising plastered on the walls.we ordered the pretzel battered cheese curds, they just tasted like regular battered cheese curds maybe we were given the wrong stuff I dont know but they were good anyways. We were so thirsty and were kept entertained with endless refills of coke and diet as we waited for our meal. we had the chopped chicken salad along with the salmon salad and our third member got the burger, I cant remember the name of it (theres actually an artistic painting of it in the parking garage), without bacon. the burger came with fries which we all shared and they were absolutely fantastic. they were a little crunchy and stayed warm which was just perfect. these are the best fries Ive ever had I think. the cost wasnt bad but being in the evening at this time of year the sun was shining through all of the beautiful windows right into my face. I suggest sitting downstairs or on the east side of the restaurant if you go in the evenings and dont like angled light. the food was very good, but probably 10% more than I think it should be as far as cost. its still worth it. our waiter *Josh* was very attentive and came back many times. Sat Oct 16 2021. Total bill $65ish with 3 meals, appetizer, large coke, large apple juice.Thank you Josh and crew! Well be back
Yummy brunch option, and a great patio to enjoy the summer weather! We had the special mimosas for the Fourth of July, which were very tasty! Food was excellent, and so many choices offered on the menu. Definitely find something for everyone. I want to return again soon, very much enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
Im really not sure why we waited so long to go back to Cafe Hollander as it was even better than I had remembered. We had visited the Mequon and Wauwatosa locations before and have never been disappointed. This was our first dinner at their Brookfield location at the Corners. It was a beautiful early Friday evening on July 9th when we stopped by to give this location a try. Cafe Hollander Brookfield, like their other locations, has a modern European gastropub vibe. The restaurant is very big with multiple floors and an AMAZING rooftop outdoor seating area. There were a lot of customers dining but, the place is so big and so well staffed it didnt seem crowded or overly busy. We were greeted and seated promptly and courteously. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Aside from the food, Cafe Hollander has an extensive beer selection with an emphasis on Belgian beers. What was a really nice touch was that each beer I ordered came with a specific glass made for that beer by the brewery - it was cool to drink each beer out of glassware that was designed with the best way to enjoy the beer in mind. We started our meal with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. This brussel sprout appetizer easily makes it into the top five list of best foods Ive had this year - yes, it is that good. The sprouts are crispy fried and seasoned with an amazing combination of parmesan cheese, pickled peppadew peppers and spicy pepitas. If youre stopping at Cafe Hollander, this is a must-order appetizer. For dinner we had the Big Smokey Burger (nice portion size, gooey smoked Gouda - bacon & avocado with a little kick from the jalapeno BBQ sauce - a seriously good burger) & the Bacon Avocado Chicken Wrap (again, a good portion size with great flavor from the blackened garlic ranch aioli) - crispy well seasoned fries with both. Overall, a spectacular venue and drinking / eating experience - we wont wait as long as we did to return and well definitely be back to explore more of the beer and food menus. Wish I could give more than 5 stars...
Meh… this location is always hit or miss. The pretzel bites were pretty good and different than the norm. I got the meatloaf…. This dish just has too much going on. The meatloaf is already a big flavor palette but there to have broccoli cheddar mashed potatoes and bbq carrots, it was way too much. You need a regular mashed paired with this meal. Otherwise the tastes of the meal was fine, I wouldn’t get it again.
Great place for brunch! Food was hot and delicious, great service and friendly staff. Definitely recommend checking it out!
This is my FAVORITE Hollander location...from the rooftop outdoor seating to the spacious lower level and huge bar, all other locations pale in comparison to Brookfield! I rarely wait long (if at all) for a table and the staff provide impeccable service that keeps me coming back again and again. If you havent been here, you owe it to yourself (& wont regret it!) Kudos for the excellent experience, delicious food, and memories made with family and friends, especially during an unthinkable time in our history for the restaurant industry. Kudos to management for thriving during a truly difficult season - you have a customer for life!
Tried this place out for breakfast and it was awesome! Food was really good and fresh, full of flavor! Mimosas were good and strong, which was great. Most businesses charge you and arm and a leg for a drink you can’t taste but Hollander did not disappoint! Dining and even the bathrooms were extremely clean! Will definitely visit again!!
The service was great, bruschetta is amazing and you can’t beat the huge list of beers!!! My girlfriend and I love eating here all the time.
Cool brunch spot! Got the Milwaukeean bloody and Short Rib Hash and it was great! Will definitely be back!
My mother and I enjoyed a delightful lunch at Hollander in Brookfield. Dylan, our waiter, was excellent—attentive, helpful and most of all, kind. When we asked for recommendations, he gladly offered suggestions. He was professional and customer-centric. We enjoyed our entrees, especially the Brussels sprouts appetizer!
Like most locations and restaurants at this time short on staffAlthough they still gave us good service and great food.
It was my first time eating here & what I orginally ordered was to spicy &The staff was very accommodating & understanding they didnt charge me for the first order my second order was delicious the burger was perfectly cooked nice & juicy.
Stopped in a few days ago with our family for the first time. Our server was Lindsey I believe and she was amazing! She recognized it was our first time at Cafe Hollander and quickly made suggestions on her favorite drink and food options we should try. She was very prompt and definitely seemed like a pro! Definitely would recommend this place again and recommend asking for this young lady as your server!!
The service was great and the atmosphere is really nice. Highly recommend for a beer and appetizers.
My favorite location to visit out of all the Hollanders. The bar is massive and the bartenders help make recommendations on something new to try! The food is always great and the pretzel bites are my favorite. Love that they have a rewards program now too!
Really enjoyed this place. Came for brunch while visiting from out of town. Cal was the most wonderful, kind, attentive, and helpful server even for our large group. Awesome atmosphere with great outdoor space, solid menu, delicious food, and top notch bloodies. Would definitely come back next time we’re in town!
Phenomenal service and excellent food! Highly recommend the goat cheese bruschetta.
I meant to leave some comments: Theres a great variety of beer, and the Tandem Dubbel was excellent. I had a hard time deciding what to eat because everything sounded good. I went with the jambalaya. It was delicious with a nice amount of heat. The service was great too. I live a couple of hours away, but I have family in the area. Ill be back.
Lunch was good and they normally have Bookers bourbon at a fairly reasonable price
Good food and generally good staff. Sometimes inconsistent experience, but they will take care of you. Go for breakfast for sure. Lunch dinner also good. The bloody Marys were pretty decent. Had the French toast, yogurt, and Benedict. Eggs cooked wonderful. The restaurant dining area is clean. the bathroom is clean. Decor is nice.
Loved the atmosphere! Was sitting on their deck upstairs and it was lovely. Food and beer were great as well. Id recommend
The Milwaukeean bloody is my absolute favorite! Love this location; the staff is attentive and friendly. Do yourself a kindness and give Brookfield Hollander a visit 🖤
We were there for a birthday celebration on yesterday 2/20/21 around 1:40pm. When we seated we noticed the manager(gentlemen wearing a Green sweater) staring at us the entire time. This was so uncomfortable and annoying. My kids felt very uncomfortable. However, we did not let him from enjoying ourselves. Rico was our waiter. He was pleasant and did a great job. However, we will not return to the Brookfield location due to the uncalled for stares.
One of the best experiences, Ive ever had. The staff here was polite, fast, easy to talk to. Drinks kept coming with out even asking, and brought out my food in a timely fashion, while being covid conscious! Management stopped over to check, to make sure everything was perfect! Love this location, compared to the Wauwatosa location!
Always enjoy the food here, today our waitress was Karina and she was great! With all the shortages we appreciate when people are on top of it despite being super busy!
I had an excellent experience today. Our server Callum was pleasant and answered all our questions about drinks and recommended delicious appetizers! Would definitely come back to eat here again thank you very much
Great food! Sous chef Luis recommended me to this location. Been to the one in Wauwatosa and this location in Brookfield. The quality of the food is great and the atmosphere is enjoyable. Jonathan our server was very nice and provided great customer service. The jambalaya dish was very delicious.
This place freaking amazing great service, great food and fantastic atmosphere.Elle is the best, bartender she does such an great job everytime Im there she keeps me coming back.
This place is awesome. From the great Bloody Marys to the great beer selection. Food is always good. Love the seating inside as well as outside. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Such an amazing restaurant to dine at with both family and friends! Our server, Josh, was both courteous and chipper, and never left us alone for too long. The food was amazing and came out fast. Will be dining here again.
I had the Cinnamon French toast and my friend had an omelette like plate. Service was good, food was delicious. I did not feel disappointed.
I just had one of the most delicious salads and I never had… A new offering from Hollanders… A beet and strawberry salad. However, I was very dismayed to see that there staff is not required to mask up. I take all the proper precautions for my health as does anyone dining with me. I do not want an unmasked server at my table. It saddens me that I cant eat there again at this time, but hopefully it will not be too long before they establish safer measures for customers and staff.
Delicious food, attentive service, fun atmosphere! We had a bachelorette-party-brunch here and definitely enjoyed it. They put together a limited menu of food and cocktails for the 15 of us. All of the food came out hot and the cocktails were perfect. Well definitely be back the next time were in town!
Best brunch spot! Love their bloodies and the berry blast mosa! The atmosphere is fantastic and the service was great!
I went to Hollander on Sunday for brunch with my family and it was just as great as it always is! One of my favorite places to go. The service is always good even though they are usually busy and the food is great!
Really good selection of craft beers. I had the Cauliflower grain bowl which was really good. The bartender Sarah Jennifer was hilarious and amazing!
Love this place! I could eat the pretzel breakfast sammy every. single. day. Ive had other great things on the menu but once I tried this sammy, I can never seem to order anything else! Great location and service, and good for lots of different vibes - work meetings, birthday parties, brunch, late-night drinks, etc. My fave of the Hollanders (and all Lowlands) spots!
Stopped in for a quick bite to eat last night, this spot was incredibly busy and seemed like the spot to be for a Monday night! Still had quick service and the food was good! Definitely will be back!
I’ve been to Cafe Hollander a few times, Josh did a great job taking are of us. The service was very timely and he was super helpful. Highly recommend stopping at Café Hollander in the Corners!!!
Great service, even with the shortage, they are helpful and move as quickly as possible. Food is great, whether doing group apps or a date night, you can find something.
Love this place! The food and drinks are amazing - brunch is my favorite! All of the employees are incredibly friendly and the service was great! Can’t wait to go back!
The food and service was very good. Our server was very friendly and came around the perfect amount to refill our drinks.
Overall, a great place to eat. The beer selection is fantastic and rotates semi-frequently so if you get a flight and go every other month you can typically create a unique flight.I’ve been to this location around 10 times. The majority of the time, the service is fine, but the past time we went the waitress messed up a lot, didn’t acknowledge her mistakes, and didn’t remedy them when I asked for a different beer (2 of 4 beers in the flight were not what I ordered). She also didn’t get our meals right and didn’t bring water when we asked for it.Food is great though, so as long as you get a good server, you should be just fine.
Yummy yummy yummy their food is absolutely delicious. Had a great meal with some great friends and really enjoyed ourselves.
Very slow service asked for my bill twice and waited 30 minutes for it. We even came extra early to beat the dinner rush. Burger was ok nothing special and Mac and cheese was good but tasted more like a light Alfredo sauce with some seasoning.
Burgers are good to very good. Sweet potato fries worth trying. Regular fries tasted stale. Salad welted and wet. Their Belgium bread was warm but tasteless. Service slow and not attentive. Large space with two floors and large glass windows, but feels like a chain. Crowded and loud. Unless trying different beer choices is important, I recommend looking elsewhere for good food and service.
So glad to have a Cafe Hollander in Brookfield! The food is great and the restaurant is really neat. Kiera is an amazing server would 10/10 recommend !!! :D
We always have excellent food and service at this location! We have spoken to the manager, Michael, several times while dining and he is the best!
Had a wonderful time! Fun atmosphere and server was very friendly and prompt. Definitely be back. Love the patio too!
Walking in I was blown away by the ambiance, all of the wood grain finishing and the modern-eque decor was so delightful. Music was on point, and our server was amazing. Didnt write anything down, got everything correct, truly exceptional service. Now to begin on the food,Wow, just wow.Masterfully done.Flavorful, unique, dare I say artisan.6/5 recommend
Our server was Katie M. during my families dining at your restaurant last evening. She was most accommodating to our questions and requests and was a delight to our dining experience. If she is available, we will surely seek her out when we return.
This place never disappoints! The service, the staff, the food, and the cocktails make this place a wonderful experience. I bring friends and family here when they visit from out of town.
My favorite Cafe Hollander location! The waitstaff are incredibly friendly and they do a fantastic job. The restaurant is clean with plenty of seating options! Food and beverages always come out tasting amazing. Keep up the good work!
We had a large party with small children. The service was excellent and the food for the kids came out early so they stayed happy the entire time.
Unable to rate adequately, never received the spinach dip during the comedy show. The server apologized and we were not charged for what we didnt receive. We decided that if and when we return we will attempt to be early to order.
Love the drinks and food here! everytime i come i have the best experience with Sarah B!! Quite literally one of the best bartenders ever! always so sweet and polite with fast service 🤍🤍 we love u sarah!
Let me just start by saying this, I NEVER leave reviews, but my experience at cafe Hollander was so amazing that I just had to give them a shout-out! Started out with the goat cheese bruschetta and it was delicious. I didnt think anything could beat that but when my spice-rubber salmon showed up I just about hit the floor! Also, very impressed by how well run the place was! It was packed and everything was humming along like a well oiled machine! Will definitely be going back again soon!!
Great food! Im gluten free and accidentally ordered something with gluten and they were very accommodating to remake my order without hesitation. Will be returning.
I love cafe Hollander and my favorite place to sit is at the bar with Sarah! She makes every experience enjoyable and I love her bubbly personality!
Super friendly staff. Waitress gave very good beer recommendations. Clean and spaced out decently for the pandemic.
What a place. Causual, airy, breezy. Crazy extensive menu, many specialty beers, and dark beers at that. Seven of us, all different meals, all delicious. Good sized servings. Only down side. We were upstairs and the sun was blinding, preventing a lot of interaction between us. We could not see each other from the direct blinding sun.
Had a good meal. Everything was great but the menu just isn’t for me. I have been here before for burger and again tonight both times were very good. I’m sure I would like many things on the menu but I’m more of a basic menu guy and I expect them to be done really well with great service and friendly staff.Staff was adequate and did solve our one problem. That problem was the Clam Chowder soup. By far the most disappointing clam chowder soup I have ever had. Campbell’s basic clam chowder would have been better, I highly recommend you don’t order this.On the other side the Fish Fry them most of our party had was very good and a decent portion size and large amount of fries.Others at the table had other entrees and were happy as well. A large beer menu but I am always astonished that these places run out of menu items. Always a disappointment. I believe that this should not happen... is rather have fewer choices that are always available then a huge list that is hit and miss if they are in stock.
Sarah is one of the top servers at this location. She is super friendly and is outgoing and makes top notch Moscow mules!!
Always great food, atmosphere and people. Our server, Kiera, was super knowledgeable and friendly and made our experience even better!
I love the food and cocktails at Cafe Hollander, Bernadette did a great job serving us! Highly recommended for everyone
Usually Cafe Hollander is pretty good, however this Friday Fish Fry was absolutely horrible! For around $15 a meal, the 3 pieces of fish tasted like dry, frozen fish fingers, and the fries were soggy, limp and cold. No tarter sauce or ketchup was provided and all that was given was hard bread and lemons. Not worth the money, which is super hard for me to say, as I have always enjoyed going here for an amazing brunch.
As always I had a great time. My food was awesome and my waiter was attentive yet not overbearing. Clean, socially distanced and the children present were well behaved. Thanks guys!
Great place! Great food! Great service! Mackenzie was fast and very kind. Please give her a raise!! We will definitely be back whenever we are back in Wisconsin.
This was my first visit. Ive heard there is another location as well. I was impressed with the overall look of the restaurant. Very trendy. Since it was a Saturday night I wasnt surprised there was a wait, but I didnt mind it either. It was very convenient to be able to be notified via our cell phone where we stood in the wait, and when our table was ready. That enabled us to walk around visiting different shops. The wait ended up being shorter than projected. I enjoyed the cocochata and the chicken bacon avocado wrap. Id order both again, but also look forward to trying something else. Seems like a great place to dine when the weather is warmer. UPDATE 3/19: Love this place!! Have been there two more times. Tried the BLT+A and a mimosa the second time, and a Cucumber Avocado sandwich on Sourdough bread as well as the half bottle of Moscato ( 2 servings in the half). I enjoyed the food and drinks very much. Still plan to return to try the outside dining when its warm.
Sarah and Steven are great behind the bar! Good food and drinks.
The restaurant was empty but because a app on a IPad said so we had to wait for a table? Sat outside had dirty silverware I can let some smudge go but when it’s green and chunky come on! Was a great family spot and Lunch client spot. I’ll be going to what burgers across the street from now on.
This place was amazing! Great drinks and Sarah was a great bar tender!
We were in cafe hollander last week, sat a the bar for dinner and had Sarah B as our bartender/server. She was a delight! I normally do not post reviews but Sarah did such a wonderful job. She was very prompt with acknowledging us as soon as we sat down and brought our drinks out very quickly. I was a little conflicted about what to order but Sarah was very patient and helped me finally decide on the salmon, which was just delicious! Overall our restaurant experience was very good. We go out to eat all the time and like to try new places but we will be back to visit Sarah behind the bar. She made our good experience great.
My server Kiera was absolutely amazinggg; my food was great, super fast service, and an amazing atmosphere!
5 ☆s! Best burger Ive had in years. Pretzel bites are pillows of happiness!
So the place is gorgeous just like the one in Madison (that one is just outstanding). Underground parking with an elevator that takes you right into the bar. Great place for beers. Only complaint was the night we were there the appetizers were slightly soggy.. the cheese curds may have been sitting a bit before bring it to the table, bummer. It took a long time for the goat cheese bruschetta to come out.... it had good flavor.Had the Jambalaya which really was tasty and spiced well but the chicken was really tough. I mentioned this to the waiter who did mention it to the chef. The chef said he’d watch out for that in the future. The waiter took the bruschetta off the bill for the long wait, which was cool but unnecessary.Just a slightly off night, that being said it wouldn’t stop me from going there again because this is a great addition to Brookfield.
A bit hesitant prior to seating. The waiting time on a a Sunday afternoon took awhile but definitely worth the wait! Will come back again. Food and drinks were great.
When I sit at the bar Sarah makes a great addition to ladies night.
I go for the Salmon everytime-delish! Sarah is an absolute rockstar behind the pine!
I stopped in for a fish fry. It was good, I will be stopping back to try it again. Hopefully their beer selection will be fully stocked.
