We came in and had a great experience with David . I hadn’t visited LensCrafters in Brandon Town Center in a few years since Dr. Winkler retired. I just didn’t trust that anyone would be as good as she was; however, I’m happy to find that I was wrong! Dr. Patel is not only knowledgeable and thorough, but her Customer Service skills were above par as well.In addition, please ask for David when selecting your glasses and shades. He was also extremely knowledgeable and spent as much time as I needed picking out frames, while translating my caviar selections into more palatable budget friendly options. I mean he even went as far as to use alliteration to explain proper eye and head placement when wearing progressive lenses, as well as the .25 difference between my prescription 1.75+ and readers 1.50+.Kudos to you both!

Arrived in store Sunday morning to look at glasses. I’ve lost my Rx from the eye exam I had at the store 8 months ago. Because the eye doctor group doesn’t work on Sunday there wasn’t a way to find my Rx. Antuan knew a sister store has the same doctor group and they work Sunday so he called over there and they were able to email the information so I could proceed with selecting new glasses.Terri was great to work with to get my glasses measured and ordered. She was very informative and helpful in explaining the differences between the 4 frames I selected so I could make the choice best for me and my type of prescription.I highly recommend visiting LensCrafters in the Branson Mall for your vision needs. Terri and Antuan went over and above to make my visit great. Thank you!!

My experience at this LensCrafters was great! Ive had bad experiences with eye exams in the past, but the exam went great and we were able to figure out the right prescription. David was able to help both my wife and I figure out the best frames for us, and took the time to explain different benefits of our selections. He was also extremely helpful in figuring out which insurance we should use to get the best deal for us!

If I could have given a zero I would have done that. The Oakley glasses I purchased a year ago began to have small circular splotches. THEY ARE NOT SCRATCHES! My wife went there and shiwed them the glasses. (Please understand this is a 45 minute drive for us) They said for $50 they would get me new glasses because they could not simply put new lenses in. ( Why?)So she gave them the money and we waited. About 10 days later I received a number. I called back the next day and could not get a response. Finally i called this morning and they said my glasses wete ready for pickup. My wife had also taken a call from LC saying my glasses eete ready. This morning we went to the store in the Brandon Towne Center Mall and wete told I needed to bring in the old paid before they would give me the new ones. Now we have to make ANOTHER 45 minute drive (thats each way) to get the glasses. I will never do business with this company again. Please just give me the glasses that I have paid for and you will never see me again.

My client had an appointment at 10:20 am. The mall didn’t open until 11:00 am and it wasn’t clear on how to get to the store. The employee/customer entrance should be marked with your store name. We called and they explained. My customer filled out the forms before 10:20 am but he was not called in until 11:00 am. He is 95 and that wait is too long in addition I am his driver and have other customers. I had to push back my customer and this is unacceptable.

The only reason I gave them two stars is because Dr. Patel is amazing. She’s so sweet and knowledgeable. The staff on LensCrafters side, however, have no idea what they are doing and are very disorganized. After a week and a half and several phone calls to try and find out how much my glasses were going to cost and how long the wait would be, they inform me that they haven’t even begun to process anything and it will be an additional 14 business days from today to receive my glasses.No thanks. I’ll get the prescription and go elsewhere. Get it together, LensCrafters 😒

No one ever answers the phone! I’ve left at least 3 voicemails into the dark void and I never receive a call back. The staff and doctor are incredibly nice and professional. I’m not sure what’s going on here with not calling anyone back. I called 3x. Finally got in touch with a Sierra who put me on hold and was in a rush. She hadn’t listened to my voicemails so clearly no one checks them. She said she could email my prescription by 2:30! I had been calling since 9. Not sure why it takes 2.5 hours or more to email a prescription. Thank goodness I don’t have anything IMPORTANT to deal with. Again, lovely people but the office is chaos. Don’t bother leaving messages - you’ Have to call constantly.

Nancy, one of the employees, was awesome and extremely helpful in getting me a new pair of frames and lenses. They were even ready the very next day, so no waiting! If I could give this place I would give a 0, the doctor is very rude and unprofessional. I made the appointment specifically for contact lenses for my aunt and was told when we arrived that they didnt have the time to train her how to use them. Thats the first strike. Once back in the room the doctor had no patience with the little English that my aunt understood also snatch the contact lenses out if her hands and advised that they had to train, had they done that in the beginning when we asvised them. The gentleman that trained my aunt was great. He was the only one in the entire location that was pleasant. I am disgusted with how rude Dr. Milly Elise was. This was not a great patient experience. Will make the drive to another location then to come to this one again. This doctor should be alone to treat patients with disrespect. I dont even think they care about the Google reviews because based on the ones previous read they still suck!! Maybe someone higher up will actually care about loosing customers!!

This was my fist visit to this particular store.Optometry portion of my visit was good although they did keep trying to push the contact lens exam/fitting on me.The LensCrafters portion was also good until I called to check on my glasses. At the time of my appointment I was told that it would a week maybe sooner. When I called 4 days later to check on them I was told by Evan that it was going to take 7-10 business days. He went on to say that I had just come in on Saturday and it was only Wednesday like I was crazy to be calling to check on my glasses. I told him again that I was told a week maybe sooner and he said I dont know what you want me to tell you. They are not here. I told him I wanted an ETA and he said he couldnt give me an ETA and I that would be notified when they came in. He did not offer to check on them for me although he did offer a weak apology. I hung up and when I went to check my receipt for my visit it was Evan who helped me in the first place.Based on my experience and on some of the other reviews here Im not very optimistic about this.Long story short I have purchased my last 3 pairs of glasses from LensCrafters and I will never shop at Lenscrafters again.

I have been to Lens Crafter many times. I went in Saturday for glasses and the experience was fantastic from the moment I walked in the door. Jason took care and assisted me with the glasses. He was awesome. The eye exam was very excellent as well. They took a lot of time and I never felt rushed.

Appointment was at noon. Wasn’t seen by a doctor until 50 minutes later. If I am expected to be on time for my appointments, then I expect the doctors to see me within a reasonable amount of time of said appointment (i.e. 30 minutes). Appears to be an entirely new staff of doctors and techs. I will not be back.

This doctor only writes 1 years on a glasses prescription and when asked if i could get a extended one when the kid broke his was told no problem i could come pick it up. Went there and was he would have to have a eye exam before them. There staff needs to be updated and not lie to there customers will be taking my kids else where

My experience started well even after having had some issues with the initial prescription that had to be redone because when I first went, I was so tired that my vision was affected and caused an improper testing so that when I got the new glasses, I saw double with them on the left side. They fixed that, got a new prescription that was correct, and at that point would deserve 4 stars (5 if they were not so pricey). Unfortunately, when I picked up my first pair, they were so tight on my head, so much more than those I had tried, that I asked that they be adjusted. The fellow in a white coat that works in the back room was the one attending and he finagled with them a bit a few times and finally said there was nothing more that could be done. So I left with tight glasses around my head. The same night, a friend of mine that works in that industry told me what she would have done but without her tools she couldnt do it right there and then. That evening, using my bare hands, I did it myself and was very disappointed that the attendant had not done it himself with his tools. A few days later, today, I picked up the second pair, which are prescription safety glasses. When I put them on they were opening so wide that with one of the branches resting on my ear, the branch on the other side opened 1 inch away from my head. I pointed that out to the attendant, different from the previous time, who told me that because they are safety glasses and they now have prescription glass in them, that it is how they would be and that it didnt matter since they have a strap in the back and all I got to do is attach the strap for them to hold on. I wasnt happy about that and didnt accept his argumentation. It was like pulling teeth but he finally went in the back, where the other attendant works, to do something about it. It took about 10 minutes and he finally gave them back to me, still a bit loose, but wearable without the strap if I decide that I dont want it on. They wont see me again.

Went in on Saturday with my fiancé to get glasses, contacts, and to do the exam. Got done with everything and got hit with all these fees that they never told us about. So we only got the glasses instead of the contacts. When we confronted the front staff on not informing us of the prices for the contact fitting no one wanted to take responsibility and they had an idgaf attitude about. Today, I went in to pick my fiancé’s glasses. The woman told me to take a seat in the back and someone would help me. There was a man helping another customer so I waited.... and after 10 minutes of not even being acknowledged I went back up to the front and told them I just needed the glasses and I’m that I was on a time crunch. A woman took me to the back and grabbed the glasses for me. Which took about 30 seconds. The associate who was helping the other customer said, “Oh, I didn’t know she was just picking up” and I’m thinking in my head YEAH! That’s because you never asked! I understand he was helping another customer but, always acknowledge people. And learn how to multitask especially when all I had to do is sign a paper and get the glasses which literally took 30 seconds.

Really shady place . My wife took 2 of our kids for eye exams and glasses. She came home confused that the eye exams for them cost so much after insurance.Buried in the fine print of the patient paperwork, you are agreeing to mandatory additional testing that insurance does not cover. Even though the tests are meaningless for children and healthy adults you are still agreeing to pay for those tests. One of them is for checking for age-related degeneration - on a 9 year old kid.Do yourself a favor and go to a private optometrist instead of a chain. You will get just as good, if not better care at a good price and you won’t have them slipping in additional charges for things you would never need like LensCrafters does.

Possibly one of the very worst eye care centers. Even while scheduling, they were trying to upsell and include retinal imaging and contact lens fitting etc etc. I told them that I already have done the imaging some time back and I just need a regular eye check for a prescription, so that I can order fresh contacts, they simply said that it comes together with the eye exam!!! so,instead of a $10 eye check with my insurance, they said I would have to pay $10 + $38 (retinal imaging) + $80 (stupid fitting charges!) for a simple prescription!!

I rarely write reviews but I’m just so disappointed in the service I received here. I’ve been here several times over the course of three years, I always thought the treatment I received here was subpar but never had any real issues. Well starting about 3 months ago I called to schedule an appointment. The woman I spoke to on the phone was rude and not helpful. When I called to schedule an appointment the woman asked for my insurance information. I explained to her that I didn’t have my insurance card on me but it should be the same insurance I’ve used for three years. She got very upset that I didn’t have the information and I offered to just bring the card in but also explained this has never been an issue in the past for them to check my insurance and see when my exam was due. So The day of the appointment comes, I walk in tell them my name and appointment time. The front desk staff enlightens me that my exam is not due for another two weeks and my insurance won’t cover it until then or I can pay $100 for my exam. (Mind you I NEVER showed them my insurance card). So I opted to reschedule (not a big deal just inconvenient ) and come back in two weeks. My two weeks arrive I walk in and they hand me paper work that states they take some sort of 3D imagine of my eye to view my optic nerve that is not covered by insurance and I can’t opt out of it If I want an exam. It was an extra $45 or so. I reluctantly agree because it wasn’t unreasonable expensive but I’m young and also just had this done two years in a row. I get my Exam done and go to order glasses. The woman tells me I can’t order lenses for another two weeks because they’re not available through my insurance yet. so once again I had to reschedule to order my glasses. I return in two weeks to order my glasses and I waited for about 15 minutes then was seen, the ordering took forever but finally I was done.They explained to me that they will call when my lenses come in and that cutting the glasses will take an hour or so to fit my frames and I MUST come in before 4pm. I come in about 14 or so days later to have my lenses replaced was about a 30 minute wait (not a huge deal because I’m in the mall). When I went to pick up my glasses the woman handed them to me and I put them on and they were extremely blurry. I proceeded to tell the woman this and take them off and she asked if I was wearing contacts... (it wasn’t rude but gee wiz I’m not stupid). She proceeded to tell me they accidentally ordered the wrong prescription and she’s put a stat order on them to arrive. Well 7 days later I had not heard anything so I called. The woman on the phone was very nice and checked to make sure the were there. She told me they were there and that I could get them any time. I went to pick them up and two staff members struggled to locate my new lenses but finally found them. The gentleman who put my lenses in was very nice and cleaned the new lenses and tightened my screws but I put my glasses on and instantly knew something was a little off. I didn’t say anything because I was able to see and figured maybe I just needed to get use to the new prescription. Well I have realized that me left eye prescription is correct but my right eye is off and when I close my left eye the letters are blurry. I will be calling back tomorrow... I would not recommend go here. Theyre ignorant and careless. I’ve tried to get new glasses for 3 months going on 4 now and I STILL don’t have my correct prescription. This will be my EIGHTH trip here and I will never be going back or recommending them to anyone who values their time.

This is the worst LensCrafters store I have ever been too. A few months back my husband and I along with my child. ( wearing casual clothing) Went in to view options of frames for our son. We have been customers for years but I have never been to this location. The experience was the worst. They were on top of us the whole time! Asking questions consistently... Mind you we only went there to look first to see if my son liked anything. All I wanted to do is look. They insisted in getting my account information and to see if the manager would even approve of such transactions... Discrimination much? I was so in shock of their behavior. I finally spoke up and said if I was a white person would you have asked me so many question? Would your manager have to be involved just for me to look at frames? Complete silence. Took it to corporate lame phone call back and i Don’t recall an apology. Worst customer service ever and this location does discriminate .. even Hispanics. So sad.

Unprofessional ! They rush you and just want to give you any prescription they can shove on to you. Its a waste of money. Its been 1 month, I have seen 3 doctors at this location and not 1 of them has gotten my prescription right. Dr Winkler especially is a horrible optometrist. She didnt listen to me. I kept telling her that I cannot see with the contacts she gave me. And she said it was fine. She gave me 2 contact prescriptions and told me to mix it up and choose whatever contacts I want! I dont want to have to experiment with buying a hole bunch of different contacts. Thats what the optometrist job is to give you the right prescription. It is absolute bull when they tell you to wait a week so you can see better with the prescription they gave you. I want to be able to see now ! Not in a week! I expect to have the right prescription now! I am never going back there again. When I demanded my money back they made me take my contacts out and put them in a container ! Why would they make me do that? What are they going to re use the pair of contacts I had in my eyes? They are malicious and only want money !

DO NOT GO TO THIS LENSCRAFTER! Go to International Mall store instead. MUCH more pleasant experience and appreciation for long time customers. This place only wants to get as much money as they can from you and have no interest in customer service. I had never verified the reviews until today, but now I understand why it has a 2.4. I have been going yearly to this Lenscrafter since I moved to the Tampa, taken my mother and sister in law. I have bought around 10 + prescription brand eyeglasses and sunglasses. I had a scheduled eye exam and the store called to confirm the day before. I was informed that I HAD to take an additional exam at an extra cost. I asked if the exam was optional. The employee stated it was required but that the machine might not be working therefore I can still get my eye exam and not have to take the alleged required additional test. I asked how is this additional exam a requirement for the eye exam if the machine did not work and I could still get my eye exam. The employee had another employee whispering in her ear that I could hear and asked to speak to the person directly. This person had no customer service skills. I explained I was a long time customer which she completed blew off. After a bit of poor customer service on her behalf she informed me that I can find another Lenscrafter that did not require the additional exam. I did. I called International Mall and they stated it was recommended but not required. They treated me with great appreciation for my business.

Outstanding experience! From the eye exam to the eyeglass purchasing. I was treated very well. I dont understand the negative reviews I saw. I even pay out of pocket to go here because I like it that much.

Customer service has left this lens crafter and so did I, was a loyal customer to LC, for over 15 yr. and when I try to get my last year prescription over the phone the person treated me like I was asking for something free, I paid for it and yes she tried to have me to come in for a exam, must be commission employee, O well by lens crafter, You can get a eye exam any place and Im sure the service cant be any worst

My dad placed an order at this location but needed them sent to a different Lenscrafters location in his home state. Never got notification they were sent, had to call to get tracking number. Then I find out that the address to the Lenscrafters location wasnt complete so they had trouble delivering the glasses. Therefore, I had to call UPS to update the address. Mind you I provided the associate with the exact address at POS. Either way the location calls me to tell me they have the glasses but with no note. Like no information on why the glasses were sent etc. It would have been nice for them to have received a little heads about the order. I feel like this wouldve made for a better CS experience. I will say the sales associate Jenae (I think thats how she spells it) was extremely pleasant when initially taking the order, she just missed some info with regards to mailing which couldve ended in a returned package.
