I’ve been using the U-Haul for a few years now, but specifically my few interactions with the employees over the past couple days has been exceptionally pleasant! Everyone was very helpful, and just plain nice. Unfortunately that’s hard to come by these days! And shout out to the guy who offered and gave me a water bottle while I was waiting for my wife to drop off my I.D! Good job!

The whole experience was extremely easy. Called and made a reservation, a gentleman name Jimmy was great. Arrived for pick up and Stephen was awesome! Made what would normally be a stressful day extremely simple. Stephen definitely needs a raise because his customer service was above and beyond!

Customer service could definitely be improved. The local number never picks up, and the national number is not far behind. My charge was $100 more than my quote, and while I have requested a look at this charge, I have not received a follow up. One staff member outright dismissed another customer that made the complaint. The website was down earlier last week, which made service very slow since all orders had to be called in. While its out of the control of the local store, it seems like there are some institutional level problems that could be looked at. Parking is limited, but the equipment availability is substantially better than at other local dealers. The staff are also pretty nice from my experience.

A pleasure to do business with. I did all the rental I could online before picking up the van, when I got to the store there were two people in front of me and I waited about 10 minutes which seemed very reasonable. The van had 668 miles on it so needless to say was in great shape. Maddy was a pleasure to work with and seemed to truly care about customer service. We did self drop-off after hours and it could not have been much easier but we forgot our Sun Pass in the van and called the next day, Maddy made a few phone calls and that evening we went to the store to pick it up

Rented a trailer for the day. They hooked it up in a hurry and when I returned it, they unhooked it for me fast as well.Great service!

Getting propane. I love that almost all U-hauls offer this! It is so helpful they are open until 8 too - double yay!! The guy here who helped us, awesome! Would not come back. Stood in line for 23 minutes before I was able to rent a truck. Truck rental was fine, but interior clearly had not been cleaned. The full mattress set was an absolute JOKE. it ripped in 2 places just while pulling to get it on mattress- with 2 people, so its not like it was being pulled hard. Dropped off truck and needed to return a lock I ended up not using and stood in line for another 19 minutes. There was only one other person in front of me. Multiple employees walked past multiple times, so they saw how long I had been there.The parking situation is LAUGHABLE. they have maybe 4 spots open at any time. The rest are taken up by equipment, so I was in a traffic jam trying to find some place to park- ended up parking in small employee parking lot behind the storage place.FIND SOMEPLACE ELSE. This place made me want to pull my hair out.

This woman had the worst customer service Ive ever seen. She yelled at her first customer, the guy she is currently flipping off in the photo left angry as well because she has no idea how to treat a customer. Then she flipped him off as he was walking away. I have the full video if anyone wants to view it.

Great service and list of offerings. The line can get a bit long because it is one of the most favored U-Haul places in Bradenton. It is affordable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They offer a full array of parts for cargo hauling, boxes, blankets, racks, ratchets, trailer balls and hitches. I have used their services multiple times and find their performance consistent.

Fast and friendly service and the pickup truck I rented was fairly new and clean. Checking out and checking back in when I returned the vehicle was a breeze. I will patronize this place again if a rental need arises.

The advertising is $29.95 + 0.99 cents per mile. I reserved online and got the wrong address. Got to the location an hour later. Everything was fine with the truck. Total estimate with all their fees was $63.01. When I returned the truck (with 3/4 of a tank instead of 5/8 like I was supposed to) they told me the total was $102. Now I only ran the truck for 12.7 miles. That’s $13 right? (12.7 x 0.99 per mile). On my calculations the total is $76.01 correct? I haven’t got their email receipt yet...

0 stars! This place is a joke. 7 people in line 1 guy working 4 employees sitting in office. Went through this picking up and dropping off. I will never use this location again. This use to be the best location but no more

Purchased boxes for moving and was told to return any unused boxes for credit. Went to U-Haul and waited in line 20-35 minutes. During that time was asked to move vehicle because they needed to move truck. No problem. Spoke with GM about returning boxes for credit and requested receipt. Told him I could not locate receipt but had credit card that was used. Said he could do nothing. When will the upgrade their antiquated POS systems like Home Depot or Lowe’s. They want you to think you’ll get credit but hope you lose receipt. All spoke and mirrors. Never use them again. Should have received zero stars for poor service and BS answer.

The best price on propane for running on it $2.69. Great service for as busy it is and nice people always willing to help, been using them for 15yrs.

Very nice staff, helped get everything we needed. I was able to get moving blankets and extra tie downs. The trucks were clean and preformed like new. Very pleased and i would recommend this place to anyone needing a truck to haul anything.

Easy quick service both pick up and return. We had no problems getting what we needed on short notice. The charges were exactly what they told us they would be no surprises.

Great service specially Rick and Nick however self service return is a little complicated, no heads up on creating account. Spent 45 minutes in the process, gotta set up account and upload pictures to prove return! Heads up next time!

This is a very good U-Haul location. Large truck selection, clean, fast, and professional I was in and out in no time and got great service. Dropped off a 20ft truck and flat car carrier. Paid exactly what U-Haul said I was going to pay. Im writing this because a month later I found two items that I purchased from the U-Haul in Philadelphia and never used. An orange tarp and a mattress cover, turned out we did not need them. The owner spent about 15 minutes looking up the return invoice (I lost it) on her computer and she credited my credit card. Now this is good service, she was not making any money off of me but still helped me out. Thats just good business. So Im writing this to thank her for going the extra mile and helping someone who was not a paying customer. Just good people. You dont find this as much as you should these days. Come here for your rental if you can.Jim

We get all our propane for our Concession trailer there. Good service, nice people. Wish they would offer a business discount :). But we go there even without.

Horrible service from the Main U Haul corporate to the Bradenton store. One person working the desk in Bradenton? Tried calling with no results. Had a hitch installed that is rattling against the exhaust their only fix was to remove the hitch and said my brand new car was defective. Not a good answer. Found several complaints after research with one star ratings. Finding out now that the Sarasota and the Bradenton store have one star ratings. Proves it is a Regional Manager that is the problem also. Tried calling the regional manager with no results. Best to pay a little extra and stay away from U Haul.

My visit with these guys was smooth, quick and easy. I felt comfortable that i was getting quality service from begining to end. Highly recomend this buisness

Clean trucks, clean facility completely & stocked with all the supplies you could possibly need for moving. Very knowledgeable and courteous staff at this company owned Uhaul location. We used to run a Uhaul location ourselves so we know what were talking about & these folks here are awesome. The truck was already sitting at the end of the lot running with the door open ready to go by the time we were handed our paperwork. Quick in and out.

They have good prices, if your going north in the spring time you might have to look around, inland, to a small uhaul place were they do it on the side

We were very pleased with all aspects of service at this location. The phone staff members were knowledgable and pleasant. We reserved a 1 day rental of a small truck. It was ready when reserved and was very clean and the price was reasonable.

Florida price gouging at its finest! Almost double in price on propane. Head down to Tractor Supply in Sarasota where they at least treat you fairly

Arrived 15 minutes prior to closing to get a 30 lb and 10 lb propane tank filled. (Which cant be exchanged out at a local blue rhino). An employee came over to the propane fill station to advise me that they are not filling propane tanks because they have 12 trucks to clean before closing. I said really, he replied yes. You can come back tomorrow. Seriously, this is the way you treat customers. Ive been getting propane from them for many years. You can clean the trucks tomorrow morning. He just walked off!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible organization, you can take this review and hopefully learn something from it. The problem: on my way to Virginia (from Florida) the car trailer tire popped. I’m currently stranded in North Carolina and have been for the past 3 hours. Thanks uhaul. After contacting customer support, they dispatched someone to replace the tire. The person arrives...WITH THE WRONG TIRES!!!!! We contacted customer service again to get the RIGHT replacement this time and were told to wait 30 minutes. Well, more than an hour has passed and no one has arrived. We were unable to get a replacement car trailer because every uhaul location we called only had local car trailers and would not allow us to use those. Also, the car trailer number on the contract is different than the one on the actual car trailer. Upon speaking with the representative, she told us that the one we were using was actually a local one and our uhaul location had clearly made a mistake, still we were refused any local car trailers even though we were already using one because of their mistake. Waste of time and money. Will not recommend uhaul to anyone and would much rather pay extra for a different one. My suggestions? Learn how to do your job and enter data into the system properly so that no paper discrepancies happen and CHECK the damn vehicles before releasing them into the hands of your customers. I want our money back.

What would we all do without Uhaul. You guys made it possible to get my stuff into storage today down at public storage and Id like to personally thank you for letting me slide on bringing the truck back 20 minutes later than expected. Definitely recommended for anyone in a hurry to move.

In the last 3 months I have been in business and renting trucks from you guys I have not experienced better service from any other location!! I recently decided to rent a truck from Budget rentals and the morning we showed up to the location with confirmation of the rental, they didnt have a truck available for us!! Being that it was the end of the month, we couldnt find a 26 ft truck anywhere. We ended up renting two small trucks from two other Uhaul locations! We were 3 hours late to our job that day!! We have never ran across any issues when renting from you guys or any other Uhaul for that matter!! You have been the backbone of our business and we are truly grateful!! Thank you for always keeping your promises and having trucks available for when we need them!! Until we have a truck of our own we will gladly continue to come to you when we need them!! Excellent Service!!

Horrible customer service. I waited ovef 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. One employee ignored me and left for the gym. Horrible, horrible.

We reserved a rental through the app for 9pm, then called the store cause we noticed they closed at 8. When we spoke to someone they said that our app will open the door to the truck and the keys will be inside, and they confirmed our reservation. We get there and open the app and it says we dont have a truck reserved and to call For assistance. We called the number and left a voicemail, no one has gotten back to us.

Rented a truck from here to move. We had to make several trips do to the truck giving us issues. We were charged for a ENTIRE second day even though we had the truck for 2 hours longer due to the several trips. Spoke to the store and were called liars. Called corporate no answer. Dont use this company. The next time we need to move something we will not use uhaul.

The time spent waiting is part of your life you dont get back. Wait times here should be illegal.

I was charged over $20 extra because I returned a trailer after hours. Ive done this many times at other U-haul locations. Understaffed and incompetent. Go to another U-Haul location and save yourself some frustration.

Absolutely​ the worst customer service ever.. I came back an hour after renting my unit to be confused with another customer who was late their employee accosted me in the parking lot and their general manager doesnt even know what accosted means. When he called me he tried to tell me that his guy did not touch me and proceeded to try and educate me on the definition of accosting. 4 days still no refund of my deposit have filed with BBB and Pam bondis office

Terrible. All is well as long as you shut your mouth, pay your bill, and dont dare ask questions. The owner Joseph, gladly took my money and was very aggressive when I asked basic questions regarding how to haul an ATV. He told me that there was no solution for my hauling needs which were easily met the next day with the Ellenton location. I would not recommend this location on 14th Street. The culture starts with the leadership of any organization. Joseph, you have set a poor example for your employees and it shows. I am a franchise owner in a Fortune 500 company myself, and would highly recommend that you self reflect on the way that you do business. Regards

I rented a 6x12 open trailer with a ramp to move a custom 3 wheel motorcycle. Its 5 feet wide. When I get to U-Haul to pick up the trailer, I notice the ramp design is not the full width of the 6 trailer. I tell the guy hooking it up to my truck, that I need 5 feet of width, to which he assures me the ramp is 5.When I get to loading the trike at the end of the day, the ramp is only 57...and I cant load the trike.When I took it back after calling U-Haul (they said to ask the manager for a refund) there is no manager onsite. No one that can process a refund, and the guy calls his manager on a cell phone, who eventually (according to the employee) said I would get a refund and a phone call the next morning. I havent received either from Joe Garrow yet.I will be using other companies from now on for my trailer and truck rentals, as U-Haul has a lot to learn about customer service.You told me the wrong information when I questioned it before picking up the unit...you owe me a refund.

Truck was great, but upon return customer service was terrible. Manager and employee were very rude. Asking questions I guess is not suitable for them. Would not return. Too bad because I had 5 people within a week that needed trucks to move. If I could give no stars I would.

U haul of Bradenton were amazing to work with, very friendly and professional. Location is very easy to get in and out of, I would diffinitely recommend them and will use them in the future!

Dishonest. They charge me for not refueling. When I put more than enough gas in their old gross trucks. I went 30 miles and I put 5 gallons in the truck. They told me the trucks get 9 mpg. Bunch of garbage. Get your truck elsewhere!

Back on August 6th, I went on-line to have a trailer hitch put on my 2018 Toyota RAV4 and schedulued it for the 2nd Saturday after purchase date. Shortly after that I receiced a call from UHaul from your store stating we do not do hitch installation on Satruday. So I rescheduled for a weekday. Received another call-parts were not in. So I rescheduled for today at 3pm. When I called to verify gentleman stated he could not find hitch and wiring harness, but had one in stock at a higher capacity for same price. Whwn I arrived a young man Cedrick stated he found hitch, So I gave him the keys to start installation. After a couple of hours he came in and stated there was a wiring issue and could not figure it out. I immediately told him and gentleman runnig front desk I wanted the hitch removed and my money back. I was given back $385.10 back in cash. After another hour car came out with hitch removed. I started the car and noticed all my safety sensors were offline. So that had to be fixed. Another 45 minutes.Joe this is the worst experience I have ever had with UHaul putting on a hitch. You cannot expect me to retun as a customer. Need an experienced hitch tach and people that can find parts or know if they had even arrived. Very Poor Service!!!

We just returned our truck. When we pulled up there was no one around so we went inside and waited in line to return the truck. The guy rudely told us to go back outside because he doesnt deal with that. We told him that there was no one out there and he told us that guy was dealing with propane tanks and hat was really busy. Its fine if the guy was busy but the man we talked to with the white hair was unessarliy rude to us when we didnt know what to do. If you live in Bradenton please use any other uhaul dealer other than this one even its out of the way. Unless you like being treated rudely for no reason. 😡

Because its ran by a bunch of ripoff lying Jerks who always price gouge, go to the U-haul on 14th St. Its much better and the familys daughter was shot and killed in the parking lot on a bad dope deal a while back named Charlie... The whole place is on Dope in Oneco.

I stopped in yesterday to pick up a ball and slide to put on my wifes car hitch. I asked about wiring but the front desk person did not seem to be able to quote that. I show him the ball I need for my trailer and asked if he had the right slide and ball in stock that would fit my wifes car and he said yes and he handed me the things I asked for and I paid and left going right to my shop to install the ball on slide. I get started and realize the ball is a 2 and I needed a 1-7/8 ball.Back to uhaul today. I had the pleasure of working with the assistant manager.I brought in my receipt and asked to exchange it. he said sure which do you need so I went to car pulled out the slide I just bought and asked for the correct size ball that would fit my new slide. He had it and exchanged it. While we were walking by his electronic board I asked if he could do the wiring for my electrical plug that would fit this car to my trailer. He said yes asked a couple questions and quoted me a price. I asked to see the electronic parts because I did not want to get anymore wrong things making me have to come back again. He was a little slow through the whole time...but better than his abysmal employee of yesterday. ..but he says to me in essence as we were walking to counter in which I was going to ok the 76.00 installation that in essence I was asking to many questions on two many subjects...yeah...you know it...I put my wallet back in my pocket went to Walmart bought same electronic wiring much cheaper and installed it myself...saved over $60.00.Need customer service..need a quote...not so good here...want to ask questions..better go elsewhere...

We had appointment scheduled to get a hitch installed, when we arrived they told us the part wasnt there, thought it wouldve been nice to know before we drove there! Then we rescheduled for 5pm 2 days later. Then on that day we were told by a grumpy man that his mechanics dont work that late.. only reason they get a 2star instead of one is because of the 75$ discount offered at the very end, which also wouldve have calmed us down had they offered it earlier...

Staff was awesome, knowledgeable, and patient. Newby rv towing a boat and needed propane, glad we found them.

Terrible service the guy wouldn’t refill my tanks because he said he heard lightning yes you heard me right last I checked u can’t hear lightning u have to see it and there was none but they filled the guy next to me and said I could stand and wait in the rain and he walked off when he was done with the other guy
