This place and all the staff are awesome. I have moved several times and got my truck here. They are the Best! Kind, considerate, and always accommodating. Not too busy to help like some of the larger places

The rental agent was courteous and good humored. He took me through the paperwork with great efficiency. He was helpful with chacking over the vehicle and getting me the blankets and hand truck I had rented too. He also gave me a few good pointers on operating the vehicle. If I ever need another rental, I would definitely go back.

Nice guys, easy to rent and all that but thankfully we got out of our unit quickly. It was infested with earwigs look that bug up on Google if you dont know! I suggest getting climate control..if that even stop stuff like that I dont know.we only used our unit for 2 weeks while our move was on hold...and our belongings were infested. I had to make sure things were free of the bugs before I put on the truck. They were coming out of all kinds of stuff. Seal your boxes tight!!!!

Great experience renting a truck for the day. I like the little things they provide customers, like telling you how to calculate the # of gallons of fuel you need to add to get to the same level of fuel you started with.

Dont support the people that have no respect for loyalty... Why raise the price twice in a year for a 6 ×10 unit to a longtime loyal customer... Then give newcomers the deals... I will never understand that way of thinking

Not sure why, but there is something that smells horrible near this place. Im sure its not Compass fault, but still.I have had a unit with these jokers for a couple years. They are over priced and regularly keep raising our rental rate. Almost $200 for a small 10x10 not climate controlled??!?!? Ridiculous. I cant wait to clear out of there. The guy who works there is nice... Kinda weird, but nice

We had a great experience working with Rob in selecting the climate controlled unit and in changing the initial move in date up a few days. Rich was on duty the day of the move in and everything went like clock work. Very good customer service and good value for the 10x15 unit we chose. Highly recommend using this facility.

Came to this facility hoping for great things.Staff on duty was really nice, but failed to spell my name correctly on pertinent documents.I gave him about 5 chances to fix this and my zip code on my address and he failed to do so.Had to cancel the contract.Totally a waste of my time.The search continues to find an acceptable storage unit company that isn’t shady.Please reach out to me if you are reputable.This company has lost my business permanently.

Excellent experience with Rob! He actually didnt have a space open for our RV and called us back months later to let us know as soon as a space opened up! We were shocked that he remembered us and actually saved our number and contacted us. The move in process took all of 15 minutes and we were really pleased with the monthly fee!

I have to say I have had a wonderful experience with my storage unit and working with Rich and Rob at COMPASS STORAGE. Rich and Rob are absolutely wonderful. Always cheerful always happy to help. The storage is clean, secure, and well lit. Rich and Rob were friendly and knowledgeable about my needs. They help me pick the right size unit and recommended some packing supplies I never even considered before to protect my belongings. The process was fast and easy from start to finish. I walked in stressed out and left feeling like a ton of bricks was lifted off my shoulders. Best storage facility I have had the pleasure of doing business with. You have a customer for life.

First walking in we were greeted with a smile and handshake by Rich Eldert, Manager. He helped us immediately with what was available and price. It met our satisfaction and needs and we signed up. He took us around to the unit, continuing to be very helpful, cheerful but not pushy. Hes a real asset in our opinion.

Needed a storage unit beginning of Oct. 2019 when I sold my house. Contacted Compass and spoke to Rick. Not only were they cheaper that the other 2 storage facilities the 1st month rent was half off. Rick put a reserve on the unit until I closed and brought my contents down to Florida. All the arrangements were completed online quick and efficiently. Rick is aces and there for you, plus its full service for U haul and packing accessories.

The staff is always happy to help you out in your storage needs. The units have been always very clean and safe.

We were charged for insurance even though we told him we had insurance! When I returned with the insurance papers I was told the money couldn’t be refunded! Only a credit to the account.

I had to adjust from a smaller to a larger unit, and Mike was great about accommodating my request immediately. He was very helpful, and he has a friendly, and genuine nature. I always feel safe when I am working in my unit; regardless of the time of day.

I was able to get a bunch of supplies and because I rented a uhaul along with the supplies, I got a discount when my daughter moved from her apartment. This place works with you!! Cant say that about any other storage place I have used.

Rich and Rob are fantastic to work with..this is out 2nd year with them and we could not be happier. The facility is clean and they are very helpful and accommodating!

We rented a unit from April 27 until Nov. 1st last year, on our way to Florida we were called to ask when we would be vacating the unit. We had told them we would be here by Nov. 1st and we would have to pay for a few extra days.Well we actually got here a couple of days early but they still charged us for another month, $92.00 for what amounted to two extra days.We filled out the paperwork to them notifying them of our arrival date, we mailed it 30 days prior to our out date, they refused to give us any refund, they lied to us because they were fully aware of our travel dates and assured us we would not be charged for a whole month. So NO, I wont go back and I have let people know how dissatisfied we were with them. Dishonesty does not get rewarded.

WOW! i met Mike the other day, this man is Mr. Service! i have 2 units now and if i could afford more i would buy another as this man is AWESOME. Nice to see that there are still real caring helpful people out there, Thanks Mike!

I am so pleased that Rich Eldest is back at the Cortez location. I have been lost without him there. Having to deal with Paul Krisher has been nothing more than a nightmare. Very unprofessional and has no customer service ethics what so ever!!! I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT HE IS THE GENERAL MANAGER THERE. Sits there eating a sandwich while he is helping a customer. I still believe I was overcharged on a Uhaul I rented 2 weeks ago. Not the way I want to be treated at all. I have been a Compass Storage customer since 2014. Every time I am lucky enough to get Rich Eldert on the telephone, he helps me with all of my storage and haul needs and he has a smile on his face while doing his job. Very pleasant. He is a Real asset to Compass Storage on Cortez Road.

Nice staff, area appears clean. Stored our whole life there for 8 months last yr for $168.75/ month which includes $9.00 we had to agree to purchase in order to store our items here. When we went to remove our goods, there was roach droppings, and other waste at our door entrance. Grey/white type stuff covering all of our leather items (desk chairs, ottomons, jackets, etc). The items were ruined and had to be thrown out. Also, this stuff covered most of our wood items (armoirs, chairs, tables, desks). When the clerk was notified he said good thing we purchased insurance. But of course, the insurance does not cover any mold damage. Great, well we never planned on this happening. Wasted over $60.00 on insurance that was never going to help. Insurance agent never contacted us for follow up. Never again. Would not recommend, insurance useless!!! Here you stand to loose things that can never be replaced!!!! BeWAre!!!
