Now I had an extremely bad experience at this store they force you to go through a roped off area where they make you put in your name so you can be seen by somebody I was fresh out of work just wanted to buy a cell phone already knew the exact model I wanted had the money on hand ready to pay but I still had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to finally come and talk to me even though they made me put in my name I kept seeing other names with less wait time get called before me. Now after all that you may be wondering why I gave it so many stars I gave them three because when the actual sales rep showed up they were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and very apologetic for how long I had to wait and then I gave them an additional star because I know everyone is struggling to stay fully staffed and understand that part of my wait time may have been due to this fact.

Extremely short staffed for a store that has so many people in it, I have never had a bad experience at Best Buy. The guy that was temporarily working at the “Check In” desk ignored me when I asked for a mask, so I walked away thinking I didn’t need one, he then proceeded to insist I needed one. Very confusing. The lady that took over was extremely helpful though!

0 out of 3 employees sitting at the unnecessary roadblock/greeting station acknowledged me til I was past them and into the store. The 1 employee who asked me if I needed anything didnt care to listen whatsoever and turned back to his conversation with his co-workers before I re-captured his attention to ask if he could please point me in the direction of headphones.Other reviews say this place is short staffed but I can think of 3 employees who could make MUCH better use of their time. 👎👎👎

Took my computer to be checked because sos would not open. Thought the hard drive was gone. Bought a new computer before i took old computer to be checkedCome to find out that nothing was wrong with old computer that could not be fixed and be cause I pay for the geek squad yearly, it did not cause me anything. Of course now I have two good working computers in the house. I was given the choice to return the new computer but I chose to keep both.

They do not allow phone calls to the store. I dont know any company that doesnt allow phone calls. They turned a an easy experience into extremely difficult one. I remember when circuit City was still around they wouldnt pull stuff like this. They laid off a ton of full-time employees in hired part-time but still reported record-breaking profits. This is one of the companies that you hear about that is an evil corporation. Theyd rather focus on profit and profit alone. The employees that are left there are helpful but there are so many new faces that dont know what theyre doing nobody can really give you a good answer unless you find an associate thats been there for a while.

Bought a Samsung 21 and had a great experience. The associate was personable and friendly. He made sure that he answered all my questions and chatted during the process while waiting for the purchase and activation occurred. Even found the phone was on sale! Would recommend.

I used to never buy anything from best buy because you would always pay more than other stores.They now will match prices with all the major online retailers.So now you can go inside and look at all the new technology you dont really need and buy something if you the check prices first.Probably shouldnt walk in there if you are prone to impulse purchasing.

The associate that helped me had a difficult time but she stayed in the fight and was successful with the exchange. Trying to find an employee in this location is actual work on the customers behalf. We have been there many times to make a purchase and the departments have no associates staffed, or they deliberately hide. You can spend 10 or 15 minutes walking around in circles through the store trying to find someone who works there and then when you do they take off to intentionally not have to be bothered with helping a customer. if you’re lucky enough to engage one of them and ask for help you can rest assured that they don’t know how to help you with what you need in the department you need help in.

It was fast and I was practically arriving at jet speed cause of unforseen road hazzards but call me Duke if I didnt parachute in with one shoe on and the another close to being that way right thru the door with 6 MINUTES AAAAND NOone even looked twice sooo.. yeah . They were not at all concerned about the time and continued to help me without a jack,..or glitch yeah without a glitch their helpfull costomer services were not hindered. So special thanx are in order also to road side pickup and handicap access making it a more versatile covid 19 safety friendly operation from the get go .... You leave your name at the front and remain in cue for personalized help. We had Carlos assist us and he patiently demonstrated every sound bar and tv sound system in the store so that we could make and educated purchase. Couldnt be happier, really!

Huge 6 ft sign on building saying “Come on In”. Google showing in-store shopping, yet they are only open for curbside. Drove 35 minutes to physically look at and compare a few laptops, only to be denied. Spoke with customer service who informed me, “that sign is always up, Google isn’t accurate”, and that if I would have only ignored the first 2 sites that come up when you google Best Buy stating they are open to in-store and continued 2 more clicks (4 total), I could have navigated to the actual Best Buy website to see that they are closed to in-store today only. After talking over me incessantly, insisting that it was my fault that their sign was wrong, explaining that the first 3 places I looked online that showed them open to in-store shopping are inaccurate, and brutally defending Best Buy......I finally NEVER got any semblance of an apology. Absolutely zero empathy or admittance that their sign should have been covered at least.Maybe Best Buy should change their name to Circuit City II.In the Amazon world we live in today (oh yeah, Amazon sells the laptop I was most interested in buying for $50 less than Best Buy) I would think that antiquated big box stores would be going out of their way to attract customers.Best Buy, please train your customer service reps on empathy and how to talk to people. Also, maybe ask them if they know what Active Listening is in their interview.Or.....Go ahead and update your resumes and submit them to Amazon now so you won’t be unemployed when Best Buy folds to a superior company.Congratulations on losing a $2000 sale today to Walmart.com or Amazon. One would think during this pandemic with so many stores closing that a company would be more interested in customer service than ever. Wrong. I went into this BB today to make a purchase. I was in line to pay for twenty minutes and the line did not move. I asked a Rep is there any other way to pay, as I was seven out of nine people in line. Just one person and one register. She said she was sorry however there were a lot of their Reps just talking to other Reps, lots of that, they put more emphasis on going into the store rather than checking out. I saw one person checking someone out in Televisions. I would have gone there but the person left their station, bathroom break which is understandable. 9 people standing in line. Some wanting to perform a very basic transaction. This was pathetic. So I put down my purchase and left knowing it will be easier to just go online to Amazon. I try to give local companies a chance but this was sad.

As a former employee, I understood how much panic it is to cover for other folks that didnt show or dept. that are understaffed. However, Johanna, from appliances, not only swiftly resolved my issues at customer service, she also masterfully handled multiple customers at geek squad/customer service with calmness, professionalism, and superb product knowledge. Her talented leadership is unquestionable and I hope Best Buy, like the way it has helped me, help her every step of the way to tap in her true potential to become one the great leaders that has shaped Best Buys bullet-proof reputation. This is the worst company ever Ive had a credit card with them for over 3 years. I would pay extra every month never late in almost 4 years. I paid my balance in full May 1st 2021, they then canceled my credit card without warning no letter nothing. 😤 please do not trust this bank that handles these credit cards from best buy. If I could rate zero i would worst company ever very inconsiderate people 😒

Not enough sales personal to assist in a timely manner. Waited 25 minutes to speak to someone about the appliances. Finally after speaking to a the young lady who worked in the warehouse area was kind enough to answer my question. The good part is best buy had what I needed and is being delivered this week. All thanks to that wonderful young lady that works in the warehouse section.

I stood around in the Mac accessories area for at least 15 minutes. The one fellow on duty waited on two other people before asking me if I was on the list. I told him that I didnt know of a list. So, he put my name in his phone. I asked him how long it would be before I would be waited on, he said a couple of minutes. I stood around for another 10 minutes with absolutely no one addressing me. So, I decided to leave. On my way out, the guy at the door somehow called me by my first name and asked if I had found what I needed! NOPE! Just horrible customer service!

Robert (in Computers) was my P. O. C. His attention to my needs and willingness to fulfill my request was keeping in the highest standards of service to the customer. He never showed a flash of urgency to attend to another task that Im sure he had behind me. I would suggest that consumers shop local even at the chains. The overnight door drop is NOT a substitute for eye contact and service with a smile.

Bought a charger for my computer the lady did help me. O had serial number and the brand and model. She gave a expansive charger I paid for it I took it home OT was the wrong kind didnt fit. And she told me the receipts its in bag it wasnt in bag. So I had to go back to store in like half hour time. I had to explain. The situation cause no receipt finally depArtment manager cane in and helped me. And found the right charger for my computer. And it was half the price the girl charges me. Wasting time

The Geek Squad doesn’t know how to handle Apple Products... Told me to do everything myself through Apple Support after arguing about the issue within the colleagues about how to send out my AirPods. The tech lady turned off my Find my iPhone feature and never turned it back on. After telling them I will call Apple Services in front of them so they can explain what the issue is better the staff all hid in the back. Would love to give them 0/5 stars, thanks for nothing.

Came in to but new Apple phone, was planning on spending over $1000 and the guy at the front seemed so annoyed that I didn’t sign in to ask for assistance when I walked in because I didn’t know the process. I then asked for assistance and he annoyingly put me on the list. I waited at least 20 minutes while I saw numerous employees standing around when I really just wanted to know if they just had the iPhone in stock so I wasn’t waiting for nothing. I ended up just leaving and the guy at the front seemed happy because I annoyed him from the moment I walked in.I work in customer service and I deal with literally the same thing all the time. I tell customers right when they walk in that they should get on the list so they are not waiting longer.I also understand because of COVID things are different but it shouldn’t be so annoying especially a year later. And especially such a huge company.

I just had the most awful online pickup experience. I ordered an apple watch series 3 on Wednesday for same day pickup solely because it said I could pick it up that day as I needed it for my new job. I finish ordering and the confirmation email said I cannot pick it up until Sunday which I would’ve gotten a refurbished one for a lot cheaper but I was trying to get it same day. I go to online services to see if it was just a mistake in the email, they were absolutely no help and took about an hour of my time just to tell me I have to figure it out in store and they can probably get me one same day. I go in and the man there told me it would be in store by Saturday. On Saturday I go in there and they tell me I cannot get it until Monday. By this time I had lost my patience and just contacted there online service to cancel my order and they told me they cannot do anything for me. I then call my pickup store (Bradenton) and was on hold for 1 hour and a half before I finally got a hold of anyone. Situation was kinda solved with a lot of effort from me and none from the employees.
