Went here because the plywood was $10 less than elsewhere. Their app and website said they had 11 qty in stock. We got to the aisle only to see that spot completely empty. Someone checked and said the scanner said we have none and dont sell it anymore. Really?? Home Depot needs to get their inventory listed properly. Shouldve known
Consistently stocked. For the most part have plenty of employees to assist. They assist on cutting wood. Great prices.
We ordered a double entry front door in March....supposed to arrive in May.....arrived in August and upon delivery it was Hot Pink(I kid you not)....so we did not accept delivery and upon speaking with the Home Depot....using a few choice words...they kept telling me that this is what you ordered (beige house, white trim and dark brown garage doors....yeah, I ordered hot pink) and we were informed that we would lose over $1200.00 to restock this item. It would not have been so bad had Home Depot acknowledged that they made a mistake....instead, at the ninth hour they decided to give us a gallon of paint, to paint the door! So, today we went to Home Depot to get our paint...you all know the paint dept...busy, overwhelmed and try to find someone to help!!!...BUT then, Kayla came and asked how she could help...this young lady waited on at least 4 customers simultaneously and each of us got what we needed within a short period of time....Kayla was amazing and she did all this with a smile and a great attitude...the crew at this Home Depot could use some coaching from Kayla....customers are not always right...BUT, you want them coming back!
Poor customer service from customer service. How ironic.Needed to return some screws that an employee purchased, mistakenly. I could not find the customer line because when I arrived there was no line. Additionally, there are conflicting signs that mistake literally read verbatim THIS LINE IS CLOSED and its stretched across the area that I was smugly informed is the designated line area.How is that clear and straight forward to the customer?Its prob not even Andreas fault. Im not even mad at her because I got the subtle impression she deals with this frequently. Its probably above her pay grade and the likely culprit is management.That also would explain why you can never find any help in these places. 🤷
Went to the garden center for my sister in law who picked up a star jasmine plant earlier that day and asked me to grab 2 more. I couldn’t find them so I asked the associate in the garden center. Young girl, said she’d never heard of a jasmine plant… she asked the young man, another associate, who also seemed clueless. I called my sister in law and she directed me to where the plants were located in the garden center. During checkout, I also had small items which I removed from the cart myself without any help from the same male associate. Didn’t offer a bag or acknowledge me when I said “thank you”… these kids need some sort of training with customer service and basic knowledge of the store they work in.
The staff here are so polite. Ive never been to a Home Depot where the folks that worked there asked if I needed help (they usually avoid asking) but I had two different gentlemen help me with buying the correct items for my project and ringing me up since they were extra large/bulky and the barcodes werent obvious.
I was never so impressed in my life. Today customer service is an endangered species, but NOT at the Home Depot on 64 Hwy., Bradenton, Florida. I went in to get paint, and they were so helpful, kind efficient, and courteous. Then as I was walking around the store another employee, a woman, stopped and had a conversation with me. It was so awesome to be in a friendly store, and I know now where to go when I need anything in home improvement projects. Thanks Home Depot.
Very impressed with customer service, specifically Nathan! My handyman bought a large amount of paint with a phone sale, so I didnt realize until seeing the receipt that he didnt ask for my discount that my HOA membership gives for all house paint. 20% of $400 is enough money for me to load up 3 kids and drive down there for, but Nathan did it all over the phone and saved me the hike over there. I still have a lot of painting to do, so Ill back for sure. Thank you Nathan!

Damaged appliance. Lady in that area acted like she didnt care at all! We will order a new one. No apologies for the damaged item nor for the inconvenience! She said Im not sure what else you want me to say? Compassion would be nice! Not sure Ill be shopping there again because of her horrible customer service!
Still in like new condition. I was in the garden department this morning and I couldnt help but notice how neat, organized and clean this area is being kept. You would think it just opened yesterday. So many stores neglect to keep this area appealing. Bags of rocks and mulch were neatly stacked and no broken bags with spillage all in front of the racks. It was a pleasure to be there.
I ordered an above fridge cabinet because it was the perfect size and color. Cabinet came in damaged. HD reordered and second shipment came in with more damage than first! I found a substitute cabinet in store. This review is about the excellence in CUSTOMER SERVICE by HD. They did everything via online chat and in store to make this right!!!! And none of it was their fault. The folks at NE Bradenton that need special recognition are Julia and Kim in customer service, Cecil in Cabinets who patiently found and inspected the new cabinet and Jordan who put the new purchase in my van. Wow!

I was there getting soil and a few other things. I happen to walk by some Desert Roses and even though I told myself no more plants I caved and bought 2. They are grafted with multiple color XL blooms! They always have something new and interesting. Great employees at this location and a clean and organized garden center.
Such awful customer service. Ordered a vanity 3 times (they just had problems with delivery), and got it eventually damaged. After 30 minutes on the phone they said we can keep the damaged one only with a $22 discount... youve got to be kidding me. After all of the problems and delayed project because of them we can get a $22 discount... how generous. It would cost hundreds of $$ to fix it (glue/paint/granite)

This is the best Home Depot I’ve ever been to. We bought a 316 pound cast iron tub and asked them to hold it for us until we could come pick it up. All of the staff there was super nice, especially Roxy in Customer Service who helped us. We came the next day and 5 guys came out to help us load the tub into our car. Such awesome customer service!
Items were much cheaper here and same quality as the other competitors. Glad I went here.

I called to see if they carry a certain product and what a joke. First I worked my way through the queue, then I was transferred and put on hold six different times! All of this resulted in the call being disconnected before I ever was able to find a person willing to simply get on a computer and look it up! You guys suck!
Hands down the best home depot Ive ever been in. Couldnt find what I was looking for and had two ladies help me, like really help me. They looked up what I was looking for, found it at another store and confirmed that they had it before sending me there.
Called before I drove the 15 miles to the store to ask if they had space heaters..I was told yes they have them in the store. NOT the case when I got to the store!! They dont stock them until October 🙄🙄 why they couldnt tell me that over the phone is beyond me but I wont be going back..Lowes for me from now on!

Though they may not always have what I want in stock, you will probably come across tons of plumbers, painters ànd other contractors that sing their praises. Store is well organized, clean and staff - when you can find someone willing to help - can be nice.
I’ve always call the store to make they have the outdoor stuff I need like decorations etc… but I’ve never been able to get through because no one answers the phone and like I know there’s people there but they really need to fix that.

Generally visit because it’s close to the house. It’s Home Depot.. not much to say. You hunt down a sales person and hope they know what they are talking about. I would recommend some staff training.. I usually get the same old condescending treatment men tend to give women at a hardware store wanting to mansplain how to use a trimmer.I closed my pro account and now drive extra few miles to go to Lowe’s because of that. However, the store is usually clean and well stocked if you don’t mind the misogyny..

Our go to store. One problem is the staff seem to disappear if they think youre looking for something. Best is to walk in & ask the first person you see working for the store. You may get passed to a few people, but you will find ut.
People who work here are better than the people that shop here. Just look around at all their noses in the air, oh and the store closes at 10 so you need to get out at 9:30.
The depot is great for most things, but if you want good lumber, go to a lumber yard. I am not talking poplar or 2x4 etc. But cedar or redwood or white oak or red oak go somewhere else.
Today the Home Depot sucked for me two items looking for they had none of them wasted my time should have went to Lowes.
BUYER BEWARE!!If I could give this place zero stars I would. Do NOT buy appliances from Home Depot! We are currently building a house and purchased a refrigerator in this store for delivery. With refrigerator deliveries being so backed up right now we decided to purchase one a few months from when we thought our house would be closing so that we wouldn’t be in our house with no refrigerator. Before buying, I asked the employee helping us if there were any conditions for rescheduling the delivery (because of COVID there are many uncertainties when it comes to building a house and we knew that there was a strong possibility that our estimated closing date could be pushed back). We were told that The Home Depot has an extremely FLEXIBLE delivery rescheduling service and that there were NO restrictions to rescheduling our delivery. Well low and behold COVID has pushed our closing date back months and when we call to push back our refrigerator delivery date, we are told that they cannot hold our refrigerator any longer and it has to be delivered (to the unfinished house) or returned to Home Depot for them to give us a refund and there’s nothing else they can do. I am completely LIVID and disgusted in the way that Home Depot has handled this situation over something that is completely out of our hands. Especially when we asked and were not told this by the employee that we purchased from!! Needless to say, I will NEVER buy from here again!
Home depot garden center was a wreck could not get to items because they were blocked. Saw 2 huge rats that were more comfortable looking around in there than l was. I wanted to give them a 1 star but the inside was not as horrible.
There wood was so hard. Would come back to buy more!

Good morning, Nothing like a trip to Home Depot in the morning between rain storms. Went to get boxes for the big move. First we compared prices of boxes, from Walmart to here.Not must difference in prices. Some are higher here, but the difference are minimal.Since its so much easier to get in and out of HD, than Walmart we chose to just purchase here.At first we walked right past the isle and decided to as for help.The employee took us right to said boxes.Straight to check up where I didnt have to do a thing.I paid and out the door we went in a record time of 15 minutes.Clean friendly store with masked people, all keeping safe social distancing. Good store to find just about anything you need, except food, but you can find a chip snack or soda there!Stay safe! Thanks for reading. ❤A

The outside garden area is absolutely disgusting. Rats running around everywhere. Most of the products are covered in rat feces and urine. Smells like something died in some areas. If nothing changes I have half a mind to call OSHA. Think of all the people that have to work in that biohazard.

However we were really happy with the staff in hardware Mr. Lopez, I think that was his name, he spoke spanish, he was very helpful, he really understood what we needed to put an attic door. As well as the gentleman that helped us put all the 10 bags of bark we bought that night on March 2nd. He was very polite and professional as well as friendly too!!! Thank Home Depot. By far we will come here again instead of University store, were they are so very rude at times and not helpful at all!!!Unfortunately. 😕😔

Order 3 blinds and only 2 came in I have a blind that belongs to someone in Arizona, she has a blind that belongs to someone else so now there are 3 customers with other people’s blinds. It’s been a week and they still haven’t located my blinds. I don’t understand why they just don’t order and expedite a new blind and have the delivery company pay fir the blind they lost, will never order blinds with them again!
I want to take the time to leave a glowing review about Eric in kitchen design and Kris the manager in appliances. Ive spend a ton of money on a home reno this year and even though the SRQ home depot is a tiny bit closer I still choose to go to 64 Home depot because I always get the extra help I need from these two even if its not their department theyll still take the time to show me where something is or go above and beyond making sure I have all the items I need. Ive also seen them with other customers and theyre always polite and super helpful. Serena and Jess were also very helpful on any days Eric was off and I needed info for our kitchen design. thank you to everyone at Home depot 64 for all the help youve given!
With our remodeling projects this has been our go-to store. Weve bought everything from screws to new doors here. I get asked multiple times by associates if they can help me, almost everyone is friendly and professional. I love this store - its employees rock!!!! And, they usually have exactly what I need and its in stock!Whatever mgmt is doing to attract these kind of employees, they need to keep doing it!!!

We asked for help to get a room darkening shade cut to size. Mitchell assisted us and we gave him the measurements. He seemed distracted and cut our shades incorrectly. He showed no empathy or compassion to solving the issue. We left with no purchase.
As much as I love Home Depot and will always shop there, their ordering online is quite honestly something to smile about. We went to our local store. Picked a ceiling fan. Had an online 15% off. Tried to order two online whilst in store, knowing that there were 5 boxes on the shelf. The online system said that the stock was limited at that store so couldnt order online. So we had to do free ship to home. So we left the store with no ceiling fans even though they were on the shelf, and home depot are delivering them to our house for free. Madness!!

Last thing I wanted to do today was to drive 30 miles one way to get more paint, because someone underestimated what wed need to do the job. I went in hot, sweaty & poorly dressed, with the info I needed & Mark (surname unknown), was finishing up with a customer, but acknowledged my presence. There was a steady flow of customers asking questions, & buying paint. This guys people skills, agility & ability to multitask are amazing! He made my day a lot better just by a chance encounter. Please acknowledge this man for the great person & employee that he is!A satisfied customer🤗
Poor customer service in the Tool dept. NO help. I should say very limited assistance.Store did not have item in stock that I needed.Even had an employee follow me out of the store when I left & asked me if I purchased anything .So awkward. Pretty obvious when I had nothing in my hand except my purse across my shoulder. I had to answer employee in front of other customers right outside the front door that No I did not make a purchase . Explained not in stock. Told poor customer service as well. He oh okay ...turned around & went back into store. How embarrassing! I did contact the store ...I supposedly spoke to a Manager.

Every time we go to this Home Depot location, we encounter terrible customer service. The manager of this store needs to better manage the workers. We will avoid this store and drive to the Cattleman location. Or Cortez. You should do the same. Its worth the drive, gas and traffic just so you dont have to deal with these grouchy, unhelpful workers.
Website indicated in-store inventory of 9 units of desired item. Associate validated that he could see 9 in stock when he checked from aisle where item was not available. Associate was snarky in explanation that I should be aware this is a commonly stolen item. Two other nearby stores had zero in stock indicating better inventory management and reporting.
I despise coming into this store..own 45 apartments..shop HD..Lowes pretty much regularly..mostly in St Pete or Tampa for my rentals..NEVER have ANY issues..this store is closest to my home so I use reluctantly..!! Put of 10 visits..8 have been unpleasant..
Got there, for a small piece of plywood they had help but didnt need it, found what I was looking for, good price, they have just about everything you need in home repair!
Good clean place. Im able to find most of the things I need when I go there. Most everything is in stock. The staff is pretty helpful and when you need someone they are normally there to help and very knowledgeable. Conveniently located on 64 and parking is always available.

Nice store and selection of products, but, they have a terrible rodent problem in the indoor plant section. I have been shopping there and have seen rats running over head on the walls. The smell of rat urine is overwhelming and could be a public health issue, and it seems to be getting worse. I wont shop in the outdoor section anymore.
