Great little shop for people who enjoy birds. They have a nice selection of gifts like bird-themed scarves and books, birdhouses and a variety of bird foods, plus optics. They have a great selection of spotting scopes and binoculars, from modestly priced ones to really expensive ones.

Jamie was a great help for purchases of scope and binoculars for our staff at our local office for raptor and bird monitoring studies. Personally, I have purchased seed, suet, and other backyard essentials for the birds! They have everything I needed!

The folks at this store are knowledgeable and friendly. They advised us on feeders that would work well for our area, and we’ve had a lot of success attracting a variety of birds throughout the year! We enjoy this new hobby and it’s made staying home more during COVID a lot more interesting. I’d definitely recommend this store for both guidance and supplies.

So glad I finally stopped by here today. The gentleman that helped me out is so knowledgeable. The store is packed with all things bird, which I love and I bought some delicious shade grown coffee. (If you don’t know about shade grown coffee you should do some research or just got into the store!) plus two bags of quality and very reasonably priced bird seed. Its so important to support these stores in our community, we can learn so much for so little. Thank You!

I am a huge fan of this store and so happy about their location in Boulder. They have a quality selection of food, merchandise, feeders, books and resources, binoculars, and more. They are extremely community oriented and offer many events and walks to engage further with birds in the area. This is what local business should be about! On top of all that, they have an incredibly warm and thoughtful staff who will always take the time to converse with you and help address your birding needs or questions.

I recently visited Chip for a new spotting scope. His service was great and he is definitely an optics expert. The store is well-stocked, especially in the optics department. It’s really nice to have a place to try out binoculars and spotting scopes as there are many options available, what feels right to you may not feel right to someone else. I also joined Chip on a birdwalk, it was great to have such a knowledgeable birder share their knowledge and point out the subtle differences between species. I will definitely be back, glad to have such a nice store in Boulder!

Chip assisted me in selecting a pair of binoculars. He walked me through the various options and recommended an image stabilized monocular. This was a game changer for me since I have a hand tremor. I wanted binoculars but the store did not offer such a product. Chip went on line and selected a stabilized image binocular suitable for bird watching. Chip is very knowledgable in optics and provides excellent customer service. Front Range is now my go to store for all my birding supplies!
