Ive been going there for many years. They are a bit more expensive for what they do. It is well worth it. I trust them with all my skis. My daughter used to race and I bought her skis from them . She had a deep gouge in the base of her skis and they fixed it with great skill and technique.
I’ve gotten tunes and core shots fixed at several different places in Boulder, these guys did the best job by far and had a very prompt turnaround. They are my go to from now on. Look no further
Did an amazing job. Ive messed my skis up bad twice already this season and both times I got them back at most before the end of the week and the next day for my most recent repair. Would 100% recommend to anyone who needs ski or board repair/ tuning
The bottom of my skis were separating from the top and I had a bad dent on one of my skis. I brought them in not sure if they were even fixable. I walked out a week later with nearly brand new looking skis. Super nice guys who care about their customers and do very high quality work.
They brought my skis back to life. Easy drop-off, quick turnaround, relatively standard pricing, and they paid attention to my specific requests. In my opinion, theyre worth the few extra bucks compared to the larger shops in town for a ski tune.
Literally could not recommend these guys enough for ski tuning. Good atmosphere and helpful staff.
These guys know what they’re talking about and can bring your skis back from the dead. This is the best shop in the area, hands down.
Best place to get skis tuned in Boulder, hands down. This is the only place you want to go
There are lots of good places to get ski work done in Boulder, but this shop blows the others away. The level of knowledge and expertise these guys have cant be matched by other shops - ski tuning is what they do and have done for a few decades. They are easy to work with, fun to chat with and always will take great care of you and your equipment.
Alpine Base & Edge gives the best tunes in town. The guys who work there know there stuff and will go the extra mile to get you the best out of your skis. Their service is also super quick and rarely takes over 24 hours.
Searching for a fabulous tune that will have your skis running so smoothly on the snow like a hot knife on butter?...Then stop here and get it done! 😄🎿⛷️
Amazing store. Service is great. All the information you need about skiing.
Love this shop- they support the community and are part of the community and their work is first-rate!
The best tune and service in town!
Everything in the shop is priced the same as online and the staff is SUPER knowledgeable and helpful. They dont try to sell you on stuff you dont need or push outdated or old stock on you which is a huge plus in my book. Im glad I shopped here instead of buying online, and got a great boot fitting as well.
Best ski tunes in the area and the place to go for all things ski racing.
Peter and crew: Best knowledge and skill in Colorado. Go here to get the word and equipment from actual seasoned experts, not salespeople.
Peter is awesome. Always knowledgeable and helpful. Does a great job on tuning, and gear.
Very good service and quality work.
Peter Boyer CARES. He knows how to help you and the best thing for your skiing. This is the only place in Boulder to go for your high level skiing and racing needs.
Exceptional service, friendly crew.
This is the only place in Boulder Im trusting to mount my carbon Lhasa Pows. Peter has spent too much time with me even though Im buying stuff online. Granted, I found him from an online ebay ad for kids gs skis, and he did such good work that Im going back for all of my tuning work and mounts. He didnt have the exact gear that I wanted, but he told me to go get exactly what I wanted instead of trying to just sell me what he had and trying to pass that off as something I would want. Great guy.Edit: Now I have had even more experience with the guys here. I recently got my custom boot fit done here after Larry the Bootfitter said there was nothing they could do for me without me buying new boots. I literally told the guy I had $300 to make my boots more comfy, what can you do, and they said Nothing without buying new boots. Maybe there was nothing THEY could do for me, but Charlie at Alpine Base and Edge said he would give it a shot. Granted my boots were slightly too big, but not 2 sizes too big like most people, so he decided to go with a higher volume custom molded boot (Intuition) liner, along with an A-line footbed. I went from bruised toe nails and cold feet to warm feet, proper alignment, and better balance on my skis. Charlie is a great guy who knows what hes talking about.I even started to get a blister on the inside of my foot at one point so I went back in to see if there was something he could do. He worked it out, at no extra cost to me, told me to come back if anything at all felt off, but I havent needed to. My feet are happy. Not only that, but I didnt even have to spend all of my money on the fit. Charlie and Peter like beer, too, so bring them some.I also had to have a core shot fixed on my Dynastar Legend 8000s (the one with the kind of shovel shape, v boat hull tip to them), and not only did they fix so that you cant tell anything ever happened to them, but Peter made a note to hand feed the skis through the tuning machine so that the boat hull tip didnt get shaved down. Attention to detail, great service, and great advice. I just went in to buy a scraper the other day just because I felt like I hadnt bought anything from them in too long.
Great equipment for a great tune!
Terrible customer service. I went in there with a question and first of all the sales reps wouldnt stop their conversation to help me. Secondly, the balding, short, middle-aged snarky guy who was too self involved to help me after I had been in there for 20 minutes was very rude. I was in the market to buy some skis because I wanted to cross over but Ill take my business somewhere else.
Great customer service!
Good tune
Hey Google ; Peter is open on Saturdays!!!
