Their return policy is 7 days with receipt and tags without any damage to the items. I bought couple dresses on the 31st. I didn’t even try them on, and decided to return. I called ahead to confirm the policy they said 7 days and they tried telling me that today was the 8th day… so I sent my husband today (11/6 which is clearly 6 days since the purchase date) and they didn’t refund, when they clearly said 7 days was their return policy. Oh and they still had tags on and receipt. Fricken frustrating, they don’t even know simple math. Never going back, on top it was very empty and messy, lots of clothes on the ground.
What an outstanding Customer Service experience minutes ago …Way to go Mr. James! You were friendly, efficient and so polite— I look forward to returning to Goodwill again really soon!Thank YOU James,Laura Ann R-TThe Boulder Cookie Lady
Some days I don’t find anything, but some days I find tons of cool stuff! Though there are more good then bad days here. I recently found two matching side tables here for just $6 each, that I refinished and sold for a great profit! And if you look hard enough you can also find some great clothing brands in good condition as well! Though I will admit it’s a little on the dirty side in here. Overall this isn’t the best thrift store I’ve been to, but it’s definitely in my top 5!
Great store. People here are very helpful. Howeve there are a lot of college kids nearby so it can be pretty picked over.
Thrift shopping in a rich town … gotta love it. Always good stuff.
Been going for years, great hard working staff and amazing finds cause boulder
Ari has excellent customer service. Thank you so much
Pretty organized and a good selection. I found a soda stream here and honestly the best thrift store find I have ever gotten
My honest review unfortunately this place is not what it was, twice I’ve been terrorized by two people either with untreated mental problems or drug use one of them invaded my privacy space and insulted me the other woman threatened another customer with violence. I’m spreading the word because I don’t want anyone to get hurt. Be careful. I feel bad for the manager and the workers they seem to be very nice people and I’m sure they are used to but clients are not and we don’t have to
Nice place, for bargain deals. Blue tag specials, half off days. Saves money, can also drop off donations, on side of goodwill, nearest the bridge, in the Southwest corner, before Table Mesa.
Overpriced clothing, they treat their employees as if they are working in a sweat shop for minimum wage. All my visits there it seems as if the A/C is not working.
The negative energy had me wanting to run for the front doorHowever I really needed a pair of shoes. But the shoes are not even organized in the least bit. For two pair of donated shoes and a blouse. I paid 29. 04 and that included senior citizens discount. Outrageous!!!!! This is a bad wheel, not a good will. If I wouldve had an automobile I would have gone elsewhere, my first day in Boulder too☹️🙁
Prices are so high at this location! I found a few very worn fleeces and they were priced at $30-$40. I normally find them for $5-$10 at other locations. A lot of items were priced as if they were new. I went one time and won’t go back— not when I can find the same items at other stores for much lower cost.
Lots of good stuff people donates but never going in to the store....
Great. Nice selections and pleasant staff.
Great selections of clothing, furniture & lots of other misc. items to choose from all at terrific low bargain prices!!👍👍This Goodwill is wonderfully centrally located in the Base-mar shopping center area on the South East corner of Baseline Road and Broadway. ☺☺Hit the like icon below please if you like my review. Thanks!!
I got my ski coat and running shoes from this place. They have the best selection of winter coats and boots. Also, work out pants and running shoes are always on hand. Its a really big store with a basement. Their stuff is always in good condition too!
We found a piece of furniture we wanted to buy so I ripped the tag off. We were told we weren’t allowed to look at that furniture and that we couldn’t buy it. Apparently when it’s sitting outside with a price tag on it, customers aren’t allowed to “look” at it. Then we got told that we couldn’t go back inside. So we left. Terrible customer service.
Picked over, not much to select.
Shoes were not arranged according to size. But they had lots of good clothes
They have great finds here.
Nice & clean, friendly.
Employee saw i was trying to decide which package of adult diapers were going to work for myself based on package being size small and one being size medium and she took the size medium package saying you clearly are a size small judging that youre only 5 feet tall and skinny. Just too disrespectful!!!!!!!
Great people the employees are super friendly and helpful.
So much product and smells great inside
This has to be the most filthy goodwill store in America. I felt nauseated, gross is an understatement I had to leave the store within minutes.
Went down hill after management fired all the old employees who had been there for years, and on top of that prices have gone up by 2-3 time what they were before. and on top of that there is very slim pickings these days.very nice staff never the less, when management isnt breathing down there neck.
Great finds always!
If I could give zero stars I would. The man working drop off today was incredibly not helpful, I am pregnant and unable to lift very heavy things and he just stood there watching after I asked for his help several times.
New management (fall 2019) has made some great changes, way more items out on the shelves, much cleaner than a few months ago. It used to be one of the top selling stores in the Colorado, love to see you get that honor again! Super convenient to CU, there is a tunnel under Baseline Ave right from the south end of campus to the store!!!
Its unfortunate that the staff that accepts donations is so disrespectful and rude. Especially since your business model is based off donations. I have donated a huge amount of items this year and will no longer be able to support this location. I have always tried to support this organization for the work it does for people in need, but the people there today have ruined this relationship. After the treatment I received today I took my items to a pawn shop and got almost $200, which is the minimum this location missed out on today because of representatives that failed to support the mission of this organization.
OMG! It’s so dirty!Disorganized inside! If you go to any Goodwill don’t try this one. I felt dirty when I walked in.There was no Inventory either!I had to go it was literally disgusting! Why even open if it’s so nasty!? Ewe!!!!
Cant wait til I get a tiny home....saw a beautiful Bast statue to stand guard at the entrance.....would enjoy mentoring folks at Goodwill...have a diverse resume and love seeing people succeed!
A great selection of clothing and household items. It was a bit cluttered and messy but understandable since it was the holiday rush season. Great quality items!
Literally the worst experience i’ve felt in boulder manager wouldn’t even listen to my complaints
Was just ok, now much better. Lots of quality stuff donated in Boulder and Goodwill gets the Lions share. Theyve been better lately at getting new stuff out. Pricing is all over the place but skewed maybe a bit too high for a thrift store. Look hard enough though and great finds abound.
Nearly time to change the name of Goodwill to TARGET discount outlet. I used buy every time I stopped in. Now I have found nothing good for months. It looks like they arent putting out hardly any used goods. Blue stickers everywhere! );
Cashier ran my debit card multiple times because she said it didn’t go through. Meanwhile all the transactions went through and they Took my money. I don’t live in town and the manager zack won’t refund my money even though I have receipts. I give this organization thousands of dollars worth of goods per year. Never again !!! Please please please give your goods to a different charity, not one that scams people out of their hard earned money !!!!
I called to see if they had any used golf clubs on hand and was told I would have to come in to see. How hard is it for the associate to check if they have any clubs currently? Perhaps you could be more helpful and not so lazy?
The lead on Sunday just assumed the 69 cent items were 1.99 and made a scene and awkward comments. The customer walked away.He then went ahead and congratulated the cashier John.Poor customer service. The utensils and flatware area a mess.Overall poor service and poorly organized. Please bring in friendly lead.
Used to be the best thrift store in Boulder, but they have raised their prices to near what you can buy stuff new for. I dont know what they are thinking. Also they have rearranged the whole store, and the mens and womens clothes are all mixed together, sgain, makes no sense.
Just junk and chaos. They must ship the good stuff somewhere else. There’s no way they aren’t. Savers down the street used to be amazing. This place is pale comparison
I counted FIVE customers inside without a mask, one without shoes and no employee was saying anything to them even after multiple people complained.
Sadly, exceptionally rude when I went to donate. I would avoid in future.
The clothing prices are alright, but the prices on shoes are ridiculous. To top it off, my first experience here was a bad one so I doubt Ill be coming back: after sifting through shoes in crappy condition with high prices (were talking 29.99 and up for beat up pairs of Hokas, Keens, Dr Martens, etc.) I found a pair of Dr Martens in okay shape (not great, by any means) and the price on the bottom said 3.99. Good deal! I go to check out and the cashier says nah, thats not right... ends up calling over a manager who says yeah no, those are going to be 39.99 do you still want them? Heck no. I understand pricing select nice things with higher prices to reflect their good quality and condition, but if the item goes to the floor with a price on it it should be honored.
Great stuff! But the employees were rude and it was ROASTING in there!! We lasted all of 15 mins!! It was too hot to enjoy shopping!
Just was startled by a manager who yelleed across the store at two employees who were working your hands are moving in the air and they need to be touching stuff. I was literally Standing next to them while they were working. Wish Id asked for the name of the person who yelled. Not cool to yell at your employees - especially when they are literally working and especially when they are standing next to customers.
Staff is super helpful, we were trying to see if a recliner would fit in our car. They helped us take it apart and unfortunately it still didnt fit, however our staff member insisted that we didnt have to put it back together. Their furniture and footwear selections are great. The store is smaller than most stores in Denver but gems are to be found here!
Alot of great stuff and its not a cluster mess. Staff was great. I could spend hours in there.
Prices are terrible - for example: used, 90s style microwave retailing for $50. They also wouldnt take my NICE couches - recommended I take them to Salvation Army (verbatim from empolyee). Very snooty attitude, recommend trying any other thrift store (or probably one not in Boulder).
Goodwill can have some goldmines on used items some days. The clothing here is ridiculously cheap which makes it nice for acquiring layers for the winter. I picked up a Burton jacket there that must have been easily over $50 but instead it was only $13. Paired with the Savers nearby, you can deck out your wardrobe or living room pretty cheaply. The place is definitely worth checking out at least once...or twice...or three times!
This store has definitely gone downhill a bit. The selection is a lot worse than it used to be and Goodwillls prices have gotten too high. I think this has to do with the fact that theyve become more mainstream. There are tons of other stores around with better prices and selection.
Poorly organized and very dirty. Very kind staff though, aside from management.
The people working on the donation side are very rude. The store is great and has lots of great stuff. Just wish the people working there were nicer.
Staff very friendly, parking easy. Great place for pet carrier and all things kitchen. Small selection of furniture.
Probably one of the best goodwill’s I’ve been to.
Bang itd do it again
Went to look for a cheap stroller while visiting the area but they did not have any.
I tried to return two cheap items with goodwill tags still on them. They refused even in store credit. Even though I used same card. The cashier was so sarcastic she carried the no return sign to me. BASICALLY WAL-MART AND MOST OTHER BIG STORES have more common courtesy. That’s a sad thing for goodwill. They had the goodwill tags still!! Did they think they were counterfeit?! Support anywhere else, like humane society thrift. Help the pups.
This store has a good rotating selection of household goods. It is usually pretty tidy, but can sometimes be a bit unorganized. They are likely to have what you are looking for though. I have had some great finds here.
Pretty cleaned out, not much good stuff. People were nice though
Pretty great Goodwill! A bit slow at checkout, but they have pretty good prices and good quality merchandise
To who ever rated this a 1 star for being overpriced your an idiot. This place is awesome and cheap. Working here before I know that the employees price everything based of what they think it should be and of you think its unfair you can tell them and they will pretty much always go down a bit I was just in here yesterday and there was a couch marked for 40 bucks which was a little high because a similar one was marked 30 so I told them I like the couch but its a bit high and they said oh would you take it for 20 and I did so moral of the story is they will negotiate with you and help you get a couch because a lot of good people work here and a lot of the time its volunteers who work there who arnt getting paid at all to deal with the people who complain about everything.
Lots to choose fromDaily .99 cent salesalong with their color tag saleBi-monthly 50% off salePlenty of parkingGood store
Im not impressed. This store was good and clothes properly organized about 5 years back. Found children and many womens clothing in mens section. Was not happy with torn merchandise they had tagged for sale. Also need better policing, looked as though someone traded out their old and dirty jeans for a newer and cleaner pair. No tag.Need of better management.Other than that its always clean. But I shop at another one close to King Soopers.
Pretty good selection and rotation of items. As with most goodwill locations not a huge fan of sometimes careless / zero common sense price tag placement and the break up of an obvious set of items in order to nickel and dime you.
Goodwill, a for profit thrift store, is a mixed bag. While I appreciate that vast amount of inventory, the district manager recently fired 75% of the staff for political reasons. The employees that were fired were good and hardworking people, many of which became my friends over the years. The new employees are kind and helpful, but the strict management practices are still worrisome. Now, with the new staff, the prices have skyrocketed. Just today I examined a pair of used shoes that were marked for $60. Additionally, a significant portion of the store has been devoted to selling blue ticket items, which is inventory purchased form Target as clearance prices - These items are rarely priced reasonably, and I have never bought any. Moving forward I will still shop at Goodwill, but I will be donating my thrift elsewhere, as I do not wish to support such draconian management practices.
The place is the best and staff is wonderful. Enjoy going back every time
Selection is good, process are acceptable.
Great deals and the clothes are good quality. I love the section with make an offer. Dig inn and find something.
Giant selection and very busy early on a Tuesday. There were many areas in disarray with items scattered about the floor. Overall a pretty good Goodwill!
Omg worst Goodwill ever, really gone down hill since Zac took over. They have Xmas stuff spread out on the empty shelfs.
Some days this place is great some days not so great, prices are going up. They want 4.99 for a used walmart top when you could buy brand new from Walmart for 5.00.
Love Goodwill Boulder..
I had a really funny experience here that Id like to share... So heres what happened:The cashier was your typical Boulder college kid. he was probably about 19 or 20 years old, he was wearing these obnoxiously huge sunglasses, (despite the fact he was inside of a building and it was night time) and he was dancing his heart out even though there was no music playing in the store. then when we were almost done checking out, the register popped open and he realized that he didnt have any one or five dollar bills left in his register. so the guy just decided to give me and my girlfriend $13.00 in quarters instead. he was an amazing employee, thats all Ill say. the end.
Constant changing stock of goods. Ive found everything from furniture to a brand new expensive golf club there and everything in between. Highly recommend it for those looking to hunt for inspiring stuff that is constantly changing.
Was told because I have asthma and cant wear a mask that I was not allowed in the store
This used to be a clean organized goodwill with lots of good quality items now you cant even walk or ride a wheel chair in this place most frustrating goodwill now, we always stopped here going to lakewood from estes park and looked forward to it, the floors are nasty dirty clothing carts every where items in tubs stuck every where, hangers all over the floor, the last managers new what they were doing, now this awesome goodwill looks like all the other poorly managed goodwills in denver ect. what a shame, it wont matter if we shop there but this is a true review
Frequently stocked with a ton of goods, I can usually find something I want just about every time I go in. Boulderites are a bit spoiled in that Ive been to plenty of thrift stores in the US and have never seen a Goodwill so stocked with interesting things. I would give this four stars, but lately when Ive gone in many things are overpriced and it seems like a majority of non-knickknack/damaged items have blue stickers- meaning their 50% off the entire store only applies to less than half of everything. For example a cheap paintbrush was $2 when I could get a new one at Lowes for half. And DS games are being sold close to retail when they are old enough to get at Gamestop for far less.
Quality clothes clean business area good pricing
Great place! Staff is friendly. Good deals.
The store was a complete disaster, clothes all over the floor, and hardly anyone working. I had to thoroughly check each item for damage because at least half of them were either torn or stained.
Great store! 50% off today was nice.
This a one of the better Goodwill stores, nice selection and usually some kind of promo.
Had some great book finds here. Fun to explore.
Poor and overpriced selection. On what donated and unwanted clothing? Also disgusted by the way this establishment treats employees. They solely hire employees in which have obvious handicap disabilities, or find easy to take advantage of. I have seen the way the management has talked to and treated these employees. It is both disgusting and disappointing. Refuse to support such a horrible place where employees are abused and taken advantage of.
Good place to get things for less expensive.
I would say as far as second hand shops go, this isnt the best Goodwill out there. Not that its bad, I love going every now and then. Its kinda disorganized, but its always got alot of customers in there who do that (move womens to mens, throw things on the floor, not watch their kinds who do the same). Anything that I think is a problem with the place isnt a fault by an Employee, its a costumer.
They have allot of variety and lots of clothes! A bit chaotic, but if you are into the search its fun.
Pretty cheap stuffs, and some are actually good. Have a great customer service. Just a lil bit messy.
Half price ever other Saturday and the best thrifty finds in the greater Boulder/Denver area! 🛒
This is by far the worst goodwill Ive ever been in. Very low inventory, barely organized into correct sizes. Dont waste your time!
Huge selection of clothing and great prices. Theyve got a decent selection of furniture too on the side patio.
Friendly and helpful staff.Good-sized furniture selection, as well as kitchen/dining ware.
Definitely one of the best goodwills in the area
Barely stocked with mens clothing this last Monday. Plus is it is open later than the Salvation Army.
Typical thrift store. Decent prices, never sure what youll find.
Great staff and great location!!you can drop off all the things that you want and you are good to go!!
