Ive been in the market to replace some hardware on my splitboard for a couple seasons. With last season being the worst time to try and find hardware for anything outdoor related, I had to ride on some busted clips. I didnt think it would be THIS EASY to find all the parts I needed in one place let alone so close to me. The shop is nice too! Great humans, lots of stuff, good vibe. 10/10

Havent skated in over a decade, grew up in Boulder going to brothers boards, and then Satellite when it opened, I have 5 kids, my two oldest boys been super interested in skateboarding, since moving from the mountains, and no snow 8 months out the year, it made sense. I bought my self a new board today. The guys in the shop were awesome, welcoming me right as I came in, to talking with all my kids, letting my boys ride the half pipe(girls werent that interested). I got a complete cruiser, as Im to old for tricks, just riding for fun. Awesome service, aMazong hospitality, support local. Ill be back for years to come! The new generation of skaters will be back too! Thank you guys!

Best shop this side of this Mississippi! The staff is incredibly helpful and really know what they are talking about with both skateboarding and snowboarding in and around Colorado. I could tell that they really cared that my gear fit correctly and was perfect for my needs. As a bonus they also screen movies and host community events regularly if youre looking to make some friends or just have a good time. Easily one of the best board shops in Boulder. I was provided excellent service on my snowboard and the store had a great vibe to it. The raddest shop in town.I went in for the first time this March looking for my first skateboard. The guy behind the counter was super laid back, friendly, and not the slightest bit condescending about my lack of knowledge. I’ve been back every time I needed a new deck, trucks, etc and every single experience is just as positive. They don’t have the biggest selection of decks to pick from, but they make up for it with competitive prices and dope shop decks that are super high quality.I went in the other day looking to get a full setup for snowboarding. This is only my second season and once again had no idea what I wanted besides something budget friendly and to progress on. The guys there once again helped me out without any frustration at my naivety. They helped explain the pros and cons of different boards, fitted me for boots, and setup the bindings for me.This shop is passionate about the boulder skate community, and spent hard work, time and money getting the DIY spot built at Valmont park. Plus they occasionally have some pups hanging in the shop to provide some pets while you’re there.For anything skate or snowboard related, head to Satellite!

I procrastinated getting my board tuned up before my first appointment to ride on the mountain tomorrow morning since fracturing my back... NICK got me taken care of while I waited there, even pushing his lunch back to take care of me since I would be unable to pick it up later that day. This is a great shop. The guy that built up my new board offered to drop it by my apartment when it was finished. The are also apparently working with the county to develop the unused space at the valmont bike park as a place to skate. Thats proper stewardship.Edit:. The green block is fantastic.

Had my board tuned here. Ethan walked me through my options and was very real in what my board needed. Never felt like he was trying to sell me something I didnt need. Picked it up and it looks great. One of the other guys helped get my bindings set up properly and even answered several questions on future upgrades. All from personal experience and industry knowledge. This is the best board shop close to Denver and I will only go here. Ride local buy local.

This place is a hidden gem for snowboarders and skaters. They were able to help me fix a part on my bindings the minute I walked in. Brought my board in today to Satellite for a core shot and get my edges tuned. Everyone at the shop was very friendly and took my board in to fix it up. They did an excellent job and everything was done to perfection. Stopped by to get my snowboard checked out. I had cracks in the top sheet and the back of my bindings was almost falling off. They fixed up my bindings and took a close look at the cracks (just superficial). They didnt ask for a penny. Cool shop and super friendly, Ill be back when its time to upgrade.

Boulder is full of “sports” stores and large ski and board shops. There is not one that provides the level of expertise, personal service and, choice that Satelite does. The service you get from Raul, Ethan or one of the other employees is always top notch and far and above better than any other store that sells snowboarding and skateboarding gear.

Awesome community hub! Ive been needing a small/obscure part for my skateboard for awhile now and have been avoiding it. They helped me out immediately, taught me some new terminology (it’s called a pivot cup btw), gave it to me free of charge, and made me feel like a part of the family. Super excited for their Warren Miller feature - they deserve it. Love this spot!

I dont ever write reviews, but my board rides so much better after a wax and tune by these guys that I have to rave. Also made some suggestions on setup that really helped. I went in asking for a more expensive tune and they talked me into the cheaper option since I really didnt need it. Best experience Ive had in 15 years in Boulder.

These guys are awesome. Came here to buy and rent some gear for my first time snowboarding and was blown away by how much help I got. They taught me how to tie up my snowboarding boots, helped me pick out my jacket and pants, and gave me some tips on what to do when I get to the slopes. I also got some sweet stickers. I can tell they really care about people here. Ill definitely be coming back

Satellite is the real deal. The owners and people who work there are pros. They know snowboarding and skateboarding through and through. This is due to the owners and employees having dedicated their lives to both activities. Get your info and gear from people who know. they carry rare and limited products that the main chain large stores cannot get their hands on. Dont look like every other jaabronie on the mountain this year. Get into Satellite and get outfitted with some real threads and gear. Greatest people ever. You will not be dissapointed.

This shop has been terrific to my whole family! I (a 40-year-old mom) went there in February 2019 hoping to buy a part for my snowboard binding. They didnt have it, so the salesperson dug around in the back and gave me a part that he found (for free)!

Great place--helped me pick a board for transitioning from east coast ice to colorado snow. They spent plenty of time talking me through everything and putting together a solid setup--been out on the new board twice so far and its fantastic.

I have always had a great time going here. My brother and I both get our snowboards tuned here, and they always do a great job. The price of a tune up is very fair as well. All of the staff seems to be very knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. If you need help deciding on skateboard or snowboard equipment, this is a great place to go.

Super nice and helpful, I came in looking for one set screw for my snowboard so I could ski the next day and they gave me a bag full of screws to be sure that one would fit for free. Definitely will be coming back for all snowboard and skating needs.

Boardshop is RAD. Good selection of skate, snow, and sweet shoes (Shoe Installation). They also run skate camp as well, Square State Skate. Everybody’s cool highly recommend the shop and skate camp.

Had a broken binding under warranty took it in to get fixed. Raul and the guys at Satellite went above and beyond in contacting the company and fixing and replacing my broken binding.
