On my way to work today my breaks started grinding and I knew I wouldn’t be able to drive home (safely) if I didn’t get it fixed. I called around and these guys were the only ones able to get me in for a last minute appointment. They had a shuttle for me so I could still get to work on time, had great customer service, and on top of that they fixed my car before my lunch break!Everyone was so nice and I didn’t feel like they were doing more than exactly what my car needed just to charge extra because of money like some other places I’ve been to. Fairly priced and super helpful! I highly recommend this place! I don’t normally leave reviews but due to this mechanic shop they took what could have been an incredibly stressful morning/day and turned it into a very smooth and stress free process.

The guys at HonToy were really great, they replaced my license plate mount (which was crunched, so I ordered a new one from Amazon). They helped me cause I didn’t have the right tools to mount it. Very quick service.

Jim and the Hontoycare team are great! It’s important taking my car in for oil changes and car maintenance to trustworthy mechanics especially since I know so little about cars to begin with. I recently had our 150,000 mile service done with the gang at HonToyCare Automotive and what and awesome experience. They worked efficiently and thoroughly and found that my brakes were toast, so we opted to replace then as well. I found that metal on metal does not slow you down much! I have been driving my 1992 Honda Accord Wagon for a couple of years now and had all service done with Jim and gang at HonToyCare to keep it running forever. I am so tickled with the way the car runs now that the major service is done and am confident that we will get to 300K miles and still be running like a top! Jim and the staff at HonToyCare are wonderful! I have gone to them for years for various cars and minor repairs. It’s also important to know that the name implies Honda and Toyota but they work on all models, even my very old Dodge Grand Caravan. My geriatric vehicle needed a new engine, transmission, breaks and starter. They got it done quickly, professionally, and for a price far below what I would have paid at a dealership. Plus, what’s not to love about a free pint of ice cream for every $100 transaction. The service alone takes the sting out of the cost of major work but the ice cream helps a lot too! I know one bad review won’t do much to this place, but please learn from me and take your money elsewhere: Jim doesn’t seem to care at all. We brought in an 05 rav4 that was running rough and had a check engine light on. He read a code and said we needed a $2k repair.Brought the car back in the next week with 40 miles extra and similar problems, and Jim told us it needs an entirely new engine. Doesn’t seem to have any sympathy and won’t refund any money for the original repair.Jim didn’t really seem to care at all about me or my car, I’m not sure if he actually looked at it, or just reads codes, because he told me it has 4wD when it definitely does not.

I have changed where I take my car for service to HonToy because I know I can trust them to take care of me and be honest- exactly what didnt happen with the previous place I went. Jim is so helpful and its very easy to get an appointment.

The responder is listed as my wife. My name is George Johnson. Whatever, I have a 1996 Toyota Tacoma 3.4 liter V6 that I have been driving for over 20 years. Back when my truck had just over 100k miles I took it down the street (29th/Bluff at that time) to get the timing belt replaced. These guys told me that I should get the water pump replaced at the same time, get all related bearings replaced and use factory parts. I said ok and now Im up to 165k miles with no issues related to HonToys work. These guys performed stellar work. I guess they dont realize that by recommending that all things be done correctly they are, in effect, putting themselves out of business. I thank them virtually every day for helping me to keep my trusted truck running well.
