The ultimate answer after a 15 min call was that they did not have a technician available but I could speak to a virtual assistant for $2/minute. WHAT? When your name is Thermador Repair Group I would assume youd be available to repair a Thermador. Wow.

I have had the pleasure of having Howard rescue me twice, thus far. First, with my dishwasher. He was the second repair person I called and the only one that was able to fix it.
