The Geek Squad here is amazing. Especially Dan. Found out my computer was stuck in hibernation mode. Other place I went to wanted $670 plus labor as they claimed motherboard is fried.These guys are amazing and trustworthy. Never bringing my laptop anywhere else again. Some sellers are very knowledgeable in their field (like in the camera section) and some less that just try to push you to buy the product. Would be nice to have a shop without commissions on tvs because salesman change the settings to have tvs look better then others

Best Buy has become a huge disappointment overall. Store in Boulder, CO was so poorly stocked. This has been my experience with in-store visits as well as searching for product online. Very sad to see what has happened with the once leading electronics and appliance super-store.

Very nice Best Buy location, just a little small. That being said, the staff is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Found a great open box deal on a Samsung and Polk Audio sound bar. Items were a perfect addition, worked as designed and integration was super easy. Highly recommended this location!

Took my Father to buy a computer. The selection was varied without being overwhelming. We were able to test a number of touchscreen laptops and desktops as well as mice and keyboards. We settled on an All in One touchscreen for under 1000. The staff graciously stayed out of our way as requested, until we were ready. Bestbuy also price matches so you can always get a great deal.

Had to stop unexpectedly when flew into Colorado to visit when dropped my phone at airport and it broke.Tried to research the phones before I got there, but still had a couple questions and I went to this location because the best buy site said location had both phones.It seemed like the gentleman that was attempting to help me was new, because he couldnt answer any of my questions, they didnt have one of the phones I was interested in, and he was really confused helping me choose the right case and screen protector. I just wish there was someone else there to assist him being so new, and I know a lot of places understaffed. Just glad I was able to get a new phone when hadnt really planned on it.

Congratulations. I was just in your store, l came there fully expecting to leave with a new laptop and a new tablet. I left with nothing. After 10 minutes of loitering in the computer section, I went to the front and asked that more help be sent. So sorry, itll be about 10 more minutes. 10 minutes later... nothing. I left. I just ordered the tablet from Amazon. Wanna make it up to me...? Reach out, and offer me an incentive to come back into your store and get that laptop, before I buy it as well from Amazon.

I came to this store because the battery on my laptop was effectively dead after 3.5 years of use. I was helped by Chris from Geek Squad, and he opened my laptop and told me which battery to look for and what to watch out for when looking on the internet since I would have to be looking at 3rd party sellers. He also told me what I would need to do to switch out the battery if I wanted to do so myself.After I bought the battery online, I brought it in as I didnt have the tools and he switched out my battery very quickly.It has been ~ 2 months since my visit, and Im happy to report my laptop battery working good as new.

I purchased a TV from Best Buy. Was suppose to be deliver on Friday 5/21 between 7-1. TV never showed up.We called Best Buy customer service. Was toldTo go to the Boulder store to pick it up as they had it in stock. Drove 2 hours in traffic one way for the Boulder store to tell me they in fact had it in stock but i would have to purchase it again ($911) and wait for the refund on the one I already purchased.Apparently the delivery driver never showed up with “my” TV and there’s no way they could swap it out for another one they already have in stock.Tried to call the store to speak to the store director directly and of corse this store accepts no phone calls.I then have to spend 55 minutes on hold with there corpprate customer service to cancel my order and get my money back. It is no wonder these stores keep closing up. Amazon will have the TV to me in 2 days with warranty no questions asked.Very disappointed in the level of customer service and lack of help from all stores and even worse yet was the corporate customer service.

I can’t emphasize how much I dislike Geek Squad.I spent $200 for their Total Tech & they refuse to give me the results of my deep scan. They also created a vulnerability in my devices that caused scammers to call pretending they are Best Buy now. No they caused a bridge, they still say I don’t have one… But there’s no report or even any documentation of what they did to my computer except make me vulnerable to more attacks.I strongly recommend kicking yourself in the face & while lighting your wallet on fire instead of having them touch your devices.

They get stars for having items I need and for Amazon/internet matched prices. They lose stars for not even attempting to answer my basic questions for a car alarm keyless entry product. The website says it includes free installation, but to reach out to your local store to discuss your vehicle with the installer to confirm if you may need additional parts or labor that may not be included. I tried to call every store in the area and the phone number says they don’t accept calls and transfers you to the 1-800 number. The 1-800 says to reach out to your local store…Apparently the Boulder store no longer does installs, but instead trying to help me figure out the question they said drive to Longmont or Westminster…I am just trying to compare prices. Heading to Car Toys.

Bought an inexpensive DVD player in anticipation of a new entertainment setup in a basement. Went to hook it up after some time had passed and found it only had the 3-wire RCA A/V outputs. Went back to BB for a cable and found they dont sell it. Or ANY RCA adapter cords. And its been more than 2 weeks, so they wont exchange it. So they are selling a component that they literally cannot provide a cable for in order to hook it up to anything! Best Buy does not support its products and is doing absolutely nothing to keep Bezos & Co. from eating their lunch each and every day - the guy actually told me to go get it on Amazon...

This is down to the company more than the staff.I found the item that I wanted to order online, it was listed as being in stock and available for same day pick up in Boulder. The purchasing portal on the website was not working well, so I called the store to place an order for pick up over the phone. Ive done this with many stores over the last few weeks (including Home Depot and other similar large retailers) and none has required me to create any kind of account with a home address and email to pay over the phone for curbside pickup. When I called Best Buy I gave the customer representative the information of the product I was looking for, I let her know that I had found it in stock in Boulder on their website, and wanted to pick it up today. She found the item quickly, created the order, and asked for my information to create an account, stating my home address and email are required to make an order by phone. Once the order was set up she stated it would be ready for pick up in store in 11 days. I clarified that wasnt what I was looking for, and she let me know politely that I could drive to Denver if I wanted it sooner. I said I understood, and given that, I wanted to have my account information deleted since there was no order (and who needs more advertising spam). The representative said that it wasnt possible to delete the account, directing me to call an 800 number to try to get it resolved, and warning me that it would have nearly an hour long wait to try to work it out. I asked if she could assist with this, given that I really didnt want an account in the first place, and that Im not even ordering a product. I was told Im sorry, I only do customer service for in store, and I have other people here that I have to help.I get that this is a corporate policy issue and that the in-store staff cant help that, but it just makes it not worth the effort to try to shop here.

The change in policy on lifetime screen protects is absolute BS. You can no longer get replacements at the store, you have to go through the manufactures who are marking up shipping 2-3x the standard rates.Also greatly appreciated the employee who clearly walked away from me when I needed to get someone from a locked case.I don’t even know why I try to shop at this store. At this point the prices and customer service are better from Amazon.

We went to the Best Buy in Boulder because the people in Longmont refused to help us with our issue. Im disappointed with the product and the way they do warranty, etc. but the customer service was AMAZING. Jacqueline in Boulder went far out of her way to help us and guide us in the right direction of how to correct the issue. She was patient and super helpful. Thanks a ton! As for the products, they make you go through the manufacturer for things now and its the biggest hassle ever. Best Buy itself gets 3 stars, Jacqueline gets 10!

Even when asked I was lucky to get someone for 2 minutes before they did the famous take your time ill be here if you need me but avoid you when you made your final desicion.🤷‍♀️ I was gonna buy a 55 inch tv with an entertainment stand but guess Ill take my business else where. Couldnt help but feel like the staff was favoring those who look like they have money.

Went to return an unopened hub ($ 29.95) and the sales associate had to get managers approval since the purchase over 30 (53 to be exact) days. Imagine my suprise when the manager said Best Buy had a no return policy on anything over 30 days. Ironically i had been talking to a young man on the floor about a 2,000 OLED TV. 14 day return policy?! Get with the times, Best Buy! Home Depot has a 180 day return policy! Ive spent many thousands of bucks at this store, feeling I was doing the right thing by shopping locally instead of getting it on Amazon. This time I bought some Sonos speakers, spent a week trying to get them set up with Google Assistant to no avail. Then several people in our house were sick & I couldnt return these until about 3 weeks after purchasing them. They wouldnt return my money. Sadly, Ill be going with Amazon from now on.

After almost an hour I gave up and left, telling myself I wouldnt return.There isnt a store directory, the aisles arent marked, the staff apparently do not care.Dont waste your time. Absolutely pitiful customer service and warranty policy. I bought a new laptop here 3 months ago, it turned out to be a piece of junk. The mechanism that open and closes the screen broke almost immediately. I brought it in and they want to charge me a $100 just to send it it for warranty assessment. They are asking me to pay $100 on the hope that it may be approved for warranty. It is not my fault you sell faulty items, why am I being charged $100 to fix it.

The employees here are super kind, caring, and knowledgeable. It’s definitely a smaller Best Buy, but the team makes it worth going there.That being said, it’s for some reason not uncommon to see grown adults throw tantrums and act like angry small children towards the employees- which is still strange to me. Almost all of the time, it’s to find some loophole to a known policy or to just.. be angry?So to the employees that work there- thank you for being kind in spite of what you have to put up with, and thank you for still wanting to still help. Horrible mobile/auto installation experience. I have twice had my vehicle sit for scheduled service all day and never get done. Today I was left standing outside in 20 degree weather for 20 minutes as I was trying to get my keys and a refund for the service that was never completed, again. I wasted money on an Uber both ways to get this service done. Very unprofessional staff.

After 5 attempts to get an electric cooktop delivered and installed, I feel comfortable recommending that you *dont* buy an appliance that needs installation from Best Buy. They outsource everything and their logistics system cant seem to understand simple things like the appliance must be delivered before its installed. I honestly feel sorry for the poor tech who has driven to my house multiple times now, only to find a broken cooktop that had to be returned or *no* cooktop because the replacement hadnt been delivered yet.Best Buys great for DIY electronics purchases, but if you need something complicated go to a local store that handles it all in-house.

This store wasnt great before the pandemic and now it is worse. It is clear that this location is poorly managed. We are high risk and have tried to do curbside pickup on numerous occasions but no one ever comes out to the car. My husband has had to go inside, only to find the employees chatting with each other instead of taking care of the curbside pickup. If this store is unable to fulfill curbside pickup orders, then they should not offer them.

I went in a few days ago to see what they could do about my broken computer. Since I had the warranty, they said I should backup and completely wipe the computer, and they’d trade it out for a new one. I went in the next day with my wiped computer to be told I actually need an appointment to see if they can fix it, and the next available slot was the next day. I went in today for my appointment and they took my computer in for repair which is going to take 4+ weeks. Rating one star because they gave me false information, had me wipe my computer for no reason, and now I don’t have anything to do school on for the foreseeable future.

The store is chronically understaffed, even for Covid (feels like corporate being cheap), and most of the staff has no idea how to answer any technical questions and you end up getting passed around with long waits between talking to people. No one answers the phones, either, so you have to go in to the store even for basic info. I bought two faulty routers in a row from them, about to go exchange for a third router, lets hope it works.

Just had a fantastic experience at best buy. I watched their personnel handle interactions with some grumpy and irritated customers with the utmost calm composed professionalism. For my interaction, they made a mistake, but were really polite and apologetic about. Even overly so. They were clearly very dedicated to customer satisfaction and treating people right, while also maintaining professionalism in the face of customers trying to push on them.

Attempted to buy a Verizon phone through Best Buys website. Ran into issues for multiple hours, spending time with both Best Buy and Verizon support, neither of which could resolve my issue or see the full picture of what was preventing my order from completing. Thankfully, Mason McCart at Best Buy in Boulder is the man. Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was sympathetic to my issues, took them on as his own, and was willing to do what it took to take care of me before my weekend trip - including getting the exact phone model/color from a different Best Buy location. If it wasnt for Mason, I would no longer be a Best Buy customer. Ill keep giving Best Buy my business as long as they keep top notch staff members around.

We had 2 dashcams installed in 2 vehicles by Best Buy Auto. Both worked seamlessly and there was no damage to either vehicle. The installation cost at least half of what it would have if we took it to Car Toys. (Funny enough, the tech who was working at Best Buy came from Car Toys!) Highly recommend.
