Awesome Boba Tea spot in a very convenient location. Extensive selection of different teas & I also appreciate the Tablet where you can place your order without having to wait on anyone. The shop was very clean & service was great. The matcha orange tea was for me personally really good as I got it with no sugar it still tasted great. The passion fruit tea was also good. The best part was the Honeycomb waffle ice cream, just a great dessert to have on a warm summer day. Wish they would have more ice cream selections like chocolate or green tea as That would be just right...overall would go again & again.

I ordered red bean milk tea with Lychee jelly. The combination is perfect for me, though the milk tea turned out to be red bean flavor instead of having real red bean.

LimeRed is my go-to place for milk tea! Their flavors are great and Im working my way through ones I havent tried yet. My new favorite is the Thai Milk Tea. Boba is flavorful and has a nice chew. They offer almond and oat milk. They also have honeycomb waffle sundaes and other fun sweet like mochi muffins, matcha tiramisu, and flourless chocolate cake. Pictures are Thai and Taro milk teas. LimeRed is super cute -- when I walked in, I said that this would be how I would design my boba shop (a pipe dream of mine). Their egg waffles are absolutely delicious and I cant resist getting them every time I go. Their strawberry matcha latte is good, as are their fruit teas. Honestly I go for the egg waffles. They are excellent.

After about four years this is still my favorite Boba place in the city! While I no longer live steps away I’m always down to make the trek for this tasty treat! While I love to switch it up from time to time the earl grey milk tea always hits the spot! (Also grab a waffle while you’re at it)

I come here 3x a week. I love this place! I get two drinks which are absolutely the best ever: the matcha espresso latte and the mango smoothie. The matcha espresso latte has a creamy consistency of green tea matcha and milk, with the strong dark flavor of espresso running through its veins.The mango smoothie is seriously better than any other boba joint in Massachusetts. Kung Fu Tea, Chatime, etc. They make a very artificial tasting mango smoothie with chunks of mango jelly, which tastes awful. LIMERED, on the other hand, uses real mango! It tastes seriously incredible. Try it with aloe toppings, and you will be in heaven.They have some really nice fluffy Japanese style cheesecakes, egg puff waffles, and French macarons to round out the dessert section. Oh, also the cafe is really cute, has free wi-fi, and you can do your work there!

Had the egg waffle sundae with black sesame ice cream and also drink a matcha latte espresso and it was pretty good. Really tasty and something different than the ordinary bubble tea or cafe. The staff was very friendly. Great place to try something new and different! 😋

This is definitely one of my most favorite bubble teas shop to go with friends or even just going there for date. I love it that they use fresh fruits to make their fresh fruits bubble tea. My favorite one is grapefruit bubble and matcha orange with aloe. Definitely try the oat milk latte, its absolutely best latte I never had anywhere else and the milk texture that staff makes is perfect the way I like. Limered desert is amazing especially matcha tiramisu which is always made freshly at the store. I wanted to give this place a 4 star because theres practically no place to sit because EVERY TABLE IS TAKEN BY PEOPLE STUDYING.but after thinking. this place offers great quality drink and food. ambiance is cozy and comfy. chairs are modern and fresh.I tried the wafflegato and milktea with bubbles. definitely worth my detour to come here.I recommend everyone to come here.

Tried LimeRed Teahouse after having dinner nearby for dessert and my party left impressed.During my visit my party and I tried the egg waffle with machata ice cream and had the Thai Iced Tea, Lychee Jasmine Tea, and the Peach Oolong. Everything had just the right amount of sweetness, nothing too overwhelming. Everyone was happy with what they had.The place is very laid back, great for casual conversation, or studying, which I observed during my visit. My party and I would definitely come back.

You NEED to go here! The egg puff ice cream sundaes are as aesthetically impressive as they are delicious! I am also a huge fan of the decor. Very hipster and fun. This is the perfect place to stop because they also have boba and macaroons!!

This is my favorite bubble tea place in Allston! The boba is consistently fresh, I love that they have oat milk, and there are lots of options for coffee drinks, milk teas, fruit teas, matcha, etc. Would highly recommend!

I really love boba and was looking forward to trying this teahouse, but the tapioca pearls in my drink were not cooked well. Some of them had the characteristic softness and chewiness you’d expect but most of them were hard and kind of dry/brittle in the middle. They did fill up the whole large cup even though I asked for no ice, which is nice! And the bubbles were plentiful. The place itself is cute and would make a nice study spot in post-COVID times. The counter staff was pleasant too.

With honeycomb waffle sundaes to die for, LimeRed is truly a zen filled cafe with yummy bubble teas, fruity drinks, coffee and desserts. It’s also a great study sesh spot and aesthetically pleasing as well!

Really complex flavors, fresh fruit, brown sugar coffee drink, and a crispy on the outside cakey on the inside honeycomb waffle done Hong Kong style with peanut butter sauce and condensed milk. Super yummy three thumbs up from grown ups and kids. Hooray for drinks made with food instead of powder and syrup! We will be back.

It feels fitting to FINALLY write a review for LimeRed Teahouse on National Boba Day ahhhh! In short, this is the best boba in Boston. (Their other locations out in Northampton and Amherst are wonderful too—the quality is consistent, even though some menu items differ. Try visiting them all!) They set the bar for the competition. They only use real, natural ingredients, so you can actually pick which type of milk you want and choose the level of sweetness for your drink. 25% sweet is my go-to!The Boston space comfortable, clean, and zen. It’s equally as good a space for afternoon breaks with friends or powering through a study session. The staff are really great too at letting you make modifications to drinks too. My signature move is adding cold brew to milk tea and creating a coffee milk tea! It’s fantastic—especially if you need the extra caffeine boost! I only wish it was permanently listed on the menu, but I can make do for now :P

Go here for their Matcha series! The matcha latte is a particular favorite of mine. Its not too sweet and you can really taste the matcha. Their Matcha tiramisu is excellent.

The tea, employees, and decor are lovely here. Everyone is friendly, and the offerings are very tasty. They have varied desserts, teas (hot and cold), as well as amenities like a charging and printing station. Will definitely return :)

Really pretty inside and the service was great! Ordered a mango milk bubble tea they didn’t have it but they custom made it. They said if I don’t like it they could remake me another tea so A+ for customer service! The mango milk tea ended up tasting great

This is a wonderful place to get bubble tea in Boston. The place is locally owned by a guy in Western Mass. I like it especially because their boba isnt as sweet as other places, and they use real milk instead of milk powder. Overall very nice place with good quality and fresh drinks.

Since theyve gone the all natural route, their menu has changed a lot and I miss the Honeydew milk tea, but their new menu is great too. Their price point might be slightly higher than other bubble tea places in Boston, but when most things are and natural you pay for quality.Taro milk tea still looked like taro powder was added so idk how natural that one is but maybe its freeze-dried taro...?

Love that they serve their milk teas with an option of milks. Also love that they offer oat milk. Much better than almond milk in the milk teas because its creamier and froths up well if you get a hot milk tea. Their boba pearls were also nice and chewy. A perfect texture and consistency. Its a quaint little place with a limited menu, but offered a good variety of snacks and bobas. Using good quality ingredients.

Nice bubble tea! The tea are made from tea leaf and fresh milk. The bubble is nicely chewy and bouncy.

Look for the little blue bottle on the side of the building, its right by the stop sign on corner of Mint Place and Essie. Not much seating so dont expect to kick back and relax, but the coffee is so worth it. Iced Mocha is $5. Yum!

Love this place. I come every time after my workout and order some drinks with aleo. You will always see people studying here for hours. The decor and ambience is pretty nice and their bathroom is pretty nice, giving off a homey feeling instead of dirty public bathroom.

Definitely more expensive than your average Chinatown place but definitely worth it. Their shop in Amherst is a blessing as well.

The Hong Kong Cakes they serve are a little on the crunchy side and hollow in the middle. So if you enjoy the crunch more than the fluffiness this would be a place to go to.

My go-to tea shop in the area! No matter what drink you order, its guaranteed to be good. My personal favorites are the Thai tea and the Earl Grey. All drinks come with one free topping--great news for boba enthusiasts. All of the pastries are amazing, and the macaroons are to die for! If youre feeling down, get yourself a waffle (or a waffle sundae if youre feeling frisky) to make your day 10 times better. The staff are incredibly helpful and always ready to offer their suggestions. The decorations are adorable and very instagram-worthy. I love this place 😍
