Very nice environment...open atmosphere, plenty of separate sitting areas, and good menu selection. However, I am a trained barista of almost 10 years from New York, and currently Nashville --- ordered a mocha and regular latte - both drinks were incorrectly made. Espresso pulls were very short, and milk over steamed. Mocha temp was probably 180 degrees and latte was over frothy like cappuccino.Person making coffee had no idea what she was doing. Witnessed other barista pulling shots for iced latte with a 15 second pull double shot.Dont go expecting really good coffee, only semi-quick service with sub-par product. For good coffee go around the corner to George Howell (connected to The Godfrey).

Nero has a great energetic vibe that’s a great place to meet friends for a drink or even a small study group. For a cafe, there’s a large amount of seating, but because of its booming popularity in Boston, you might have to guilt hover over people now and a gain to get prime Study seating by an outlet. The desserts are 100% better than your local Starbucks that could never compete on the dessert front. And of course there is the coffee, which is not La Colombe, but holds its own.Sandwiches are fairly run of the mill, but never disappointing, and prices for all are slightly less than DD and Starbucks (about $0.10 less for a small or medium). The service here is quick and friendly and the decor is far more eclectic, interesting, comfortable than Starbucks or cafes opting for a more industrial feel.

This was a one of a kind just walk in and purchase whatever. I brought a large coffee and I must admit my coffee was delicious. The batista washed her hands, got my cup, and brewed a fresh pot of coffee put the coffee in the cup and allowed me to add my additives to my liking. The establishment is a nice way to get away from others. Its quiet cozy and comfortable. You can really enjoy your coffee or a small meal if you have time to just relax. It is definitely a nice environment. The prices on the other hand can be expensive. This coffee shop cant be compared to a Dunkin Donuts because its so much better. If you looking for quality and quantity I would recommend this coffee cafe.

Literally THE WORST place you can go to for a good cappuccino, coffee or service. The place is understaffed and baristas (perhaps because of this) do not seem to take pride in their work. The photos below illustrate the quality of product you can expect to get from Nero (the sloppy presentation) versus a place like Ogawa (the beautiful presentation); believe when I say the taste matches the presentation. Yes, the decor at Nero is definitely elaborate and attractive, but this does not make up for long wait times or a subpar coffee experience. The internet is slow compared to the neighboring Explorateur and Jaho cafes. The curb appeal of this cafe is definitely attractive, but I would not recommend coming here when there are better alternatives.I almost didnt post this the first time I came and was ignored for about 15 minutes before someone asked me for my order only to return to my table with an overpriced unpalatable cup of coffee. Perhaps in time I will give this another chance.

The atmosphere, the aesthetic looks of the age wooden tables and chairs, which some appear to be antique, this place screams that I am a great coffee shop, come on in, have a cup.Everyone’s style and coffee taste is different. Maybe this classy looking Italian shop is a five-star to you. It’s not a route people normally travel, but there seems to be a good crowd at this location all the time, so, if you happen to be in this area, you may want to check them out.It is right across the street from the Paramont theatre.

The staff are excellent, considering they allow you to remove your mask while youre there! They have another coffee shop on Summer street around the corner .But due to the pandemic and an abundance of homeless people sleeping in there or randomly coming inside to handling for money, off the internet horders who milk their free WiFi, they changed their hours from 7am - 9:30p, to 7am - 7pm! :-(I dont drink coffee any more, but I always leave the employees a cash tip almost every time I there.

Nice place to do casual reading. Good hot chocolate and croissants. Knocked off a couple of stars due to a racist lady who is extra obnoxious to only Asian customers.
