We happened upon this store when we moved to Boca in 2018. The best Verizon store we have ever been to. My husband and our daughters have worked with Marcus multiple times and the experience is always the same. He is honest, knowledgeable, straightforward, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you for being open during this pandemic! It was also a holiday weekend. After trying to solve my broken phone problem through Apple, other service choices and (closed) Verizon locations with no luck we tried this location. Went to this place because of the Customer service reviews, and glad I did. Juan was beyond courteous, knowledgeable about all plans and products and was patient to run me through all my inquiries. Definitely recommend this place, left with a new phone, a great plan, and some accessories = 100% happy. Juan even helped me out transferring all my previous phone information to the new one. Juan and the store manager were wearing face masks and there was a Pandemic protocol. I browsed other carriers but none of their employees made me feel secure about making a decision, Juan did. Like most people, I absolutely dread going into any wireless store. Went to another store before going here, and walked out after being ignored for 20 minutes. Came to this store and Juan was alone, and very enthusiastically helped me and my wife pick out new phones and accessories. He took the time to explain everything clearly to us, which made our decisions a breeze.A few more people came, and he very politely apologized to them for the wait since he was helping us activate, upgrade and transfer everything from our old phones to our new phones, which can be time consuming.Sensing it was going to take a while, Juan texted his manager Marcus, who was at the gym, and he came right over to the store to help the people waiting. To say we were impressed with that level of customer service would be an understatement.Everything went as smoothly as possible, and we could not be happier. I expected to spend well over an hour with an employee who only wanted to sell me everything in the store and would be pushy and aggressive (as is found in other Verizon stores). Instead, I was given complete and total respect, honesty, and patience from Marcus, who had a positive attitude and a willingness to help in any way that he could! He explained everything that was happening in full detail in a completely comprehensive way. I was literally blown away by what a great guy he was! Though it is a retail store, he was able to provide the service I needed, including upgrading my cellphone, without any hidden cost or surprises. He also assured me that his store is able to do anything a full-service Verizon store can do, which is a relief since the only full-service Verizon store I know of is quite a bit away. I look forward to doing business at this location with him again and I strongly recommend that anyone within the vicinity, and even those far away, visit this store and ask for Marcus.

Marcus is unbelievably great at what he does and could not have been more helpful. He set up my brand new phone and account with ease. Not only did Marcus kindly assist me with finding the location of the store when I called for directions, but when I got there he gave me one on one professional courtesy and detailed attention. Not only did he activate my sons phone line, but he gave me a SIM card free of charge - which the normally run approx $30. Beware! This store is shady and full of scam artists! Go to a real Verizon store for real support and proper pricing!! These guys will decieve you and con you to make you seem like you’re getting a fabulous deal when you’re not. Prices are much higher than a real store. I came to realization of this after getting over charged: that this is actually a “authorized dealer” which means they are simply a third party store like a flee market or something.. this is not a true and honest and reputable real Verizon store. My phone died at work today. I came to this Verizon store and met this wonderful guy Marcus. He took care of everything I need and some. He is a very kind and caring man and Id highly recommend this store to everyone.

This store is not actually a Verizon store. They refused to cover a warranty on a $60 screen protector that I purchased less than one month ago and that had cracked. I purchased the most expensive screen protector for my new Pixel phone because I was told it came with a Lifetime warranty. The employee at this store told me I had to go to the store where I purchased the screen protector to have the warranty apply. And he did that without even bothering to look up my account to identify the brand of screen protector or warranty terms. Lesson learned. Dont go to third-parrty owned stores, especially this one, that are contracted by Verizon. And Verizon needs to do a much better job of screening the contractors that they permit to use their name.

The customer service we received from Marcus was amazing. We were visiting in Boca and had a problem with a wireless hotspot. We were not regular customers of this store, yet Marcus treated us as if we had been his customer for years. He went way out of his way to resolve our problem and had to spend a lot of time doing it. Like everyone else I have always had the worst experience at mobile phone stores. I changed carriers but they are all horrible. Pushy salespeople, long lines, uninformed and rude employees - but there is hope! Marcus at the Yamato store is honest, helpful and for the first time I walked out saying wow, that didnt suck. I have been to each of the Verizon stores in Boca and needless to say I will never be back. Go to this little store and you wont be sorry. We recently switched from ATT to Verizon. We purchased our phones in North Florida at a Verizon store located on Merritt Island. The rep we had was extremely quick talking and not thorough. We came very close to walking out and sticking with AT&T, however we needed the coverage that Verizon offeres where AT&Ts service is less desirable. We had time while in South Florida to visit the local store on Yamato Road to set up our new service. We were immediately greeted by Marcus, the store manager. Marcus went above and beyond even though he did not sell us our new service & phones. He exceeded our customer service experience by far. I normally do not write reviews but this young man is well deserving and in my opinion should be running the corporate office training department. Hes a true asset to the company. On a personal note Im a banker and wish I could hire 100 employees just like him. Hes truly passionate about his job and sincerely cares about the clients experience.

Marcus was unbelieveable..he did not get the Note 8 in yet from Verizon but I had to have a phone because T Mobiles equipment failure meant I could net send or receive calls in my house..so Verizon overnighted it to me. I went back to Marcus to ask him to help me set up my phone and could not believe his attitude. Instead of being upset with me..he treated me like his best customer and gave me the service that money can not buy.I do want to say that the only reason he is not rated 5 stars is that some idiot prefers to deal with a corporate robot on the phone than a human being who cant be nicer and more helpful. God made every tenth person an idiot and he is not hard to find on this site. He is the guy who loves being treated like a number...not a person. If you want to support small business..i urge you to give Marcus a call when you need phone service.
