I highly recommend going out to the Mall of America location for your special occasion shopping! The atmosphere is warm and inviting on top of the great teamwork and the helpful nature of all the sales professionals.We just purchased our engagement ring here and Thaydian was ours sales professional. She was absolutely a pleasure to work with! We were in and out of the store twice and when we came back we were greeted by another sale professional who remembered seeing us from before and also remembered who we were working with. In order to help Thaydian, while she was finishing with another client, he started our credit application on her behalf. Not once was anyone trying to steal a sale.Thaydian took the time to get to know us, have a personal discussion with us and help us to get exactly what we were looking for! We will be making the drive from now on for any other occasion and our 6 month checks on the jewelry! Thank you so much for everything!!

I gave them a couple stars because the staff is friendly and the place is well maintained. I also like their selection. However, the experience hasnt been great once you buy an item. I bought my sister-in-laws engagement ring on behalf of my brother and they have had issues with follow up. They will send the ring out for cleaning or sizing and be quoted a couple weeks but itll take twice as long as what was quoted to them. I recently bought a cross for my husband but noticed when I got home that it was damaged. I was already annoyed that I needed to make another trip to mall of America to make them aware of their damaged product. they told me they dont have another one in store to trade it with so they told me they ordered one and it can take up to 10 days to get it so I would get a call and make another trip to the mall to pick it up within 10 days. After 16 days with no follow up, I called today at 12:12 to ask and they were clueless. they said they will need to look into it and call me back in about an hour with an update. It is now 2:20, which is 2 hours later with no follow up. I tried calling 8 times but no answer. Waste of my time. Looks like Im making another trip to the mall to return the item and not deal with Kay Jewelers again. Its been a huge waste of my time.

Went in to get my ring resized (larger to smaller). They said it will take about a week but two weeks at most. They will keep us posted via email with where the ring is and when it will be ready. It has been over three weeks and the only updates I can get is if I call and wait on hold for someone to tell me nope it is not ready and they have no idea when it will be done. Go anywhere else but here.

Came in to buy a bracelet and couldn’t find my previous purchase and then would not let me pick up the bracelet from that location when I purchased it from another store smh!! Not cool.. personal feelings about a customer is not cool. Won’t be back.. I’ll go to any other location

Incompetence that knows no bounds. In early November I went to Kay jewelers in Mall of America to have my watch battery replaced, I had done this in the past in the Mankato store without issues. My watch was checked in and sent off as was expected. I was told the process would take four to six weeks and that I would receive three phone calls, one when the watch was at the repair center, second when the repairs were completed and a third when the watch was ready to be picked up. I called the store three times never had a response mid-December. I then called the corporate office to check on the status; the informed me the watch was on it’s way back to the store and ready for pick up within the week. I stopped by the store first week of January and the watch was indeed ready for pickup; however the watch had been damaged. I was understanding with the situation and left the watch to be sent off for repairs. Again I was told the process would take about four to six weeks and that I would receive the same three phone calls. I called mid February to check on the status of the repair and received no answer. The stay home order went into effect two weeks later still no status update. June 23rd I received a phone call letting me know the watch would be ready for pick up within two weeks. I stopped by July 12th to pick up my watch. This is where I learned the watch was not actually ready for pick up because “they sent it to ‘jewelry repair’ instead of ‘watch repair’” so the watch was not ready. The incompetence of this store and the complete lack of ownership of the issues is unacceptable.

I went into Kay jewelers the other day and I was extremely happy with the service given to me ! The woman who was working held my hand through the whole process. She made me feel very safe with my decision on jewelry. I don’t remember her name but she had dark, brown hair, with cocoa brown skin and a great smile! Very satisfied!

Id put a zero if I could. Got my engagement ring. Wrong size. Finally got the real ring, after 6 months the center stone became loose. Sent it in to be fixed, got loose a week later. Finally seems to stay. The other problem is they NEVER can find my info. They show me the computer and it has all our info and the date sold and everything, list of inspections and repairs, yet it still takes 20 minutes to look me up?! You literally have the info in front of you. Then they e plain oh its a custom, which is what I tell them every time I come inShop somewhere else. I inferior quality, terrible record keeping. Just hassle after hassle

They were pleasant enough when I handed them money to buy something and I got the warranty which requires inspections at regular intervals. Having to do inspections is fine but they are pretty rude and act inconvenienced and bothered whenever my wife goes in for these required inspections. So Ill let you answer the question yourself as to if Ill ever buy there again.

Worst experience ever. Extremely unprofessional. We had our engagement ring from a different place and bought the wedding band here. They agreed to solder them together for us. A few month later, the main diamond on the engagement ring is loose. They refuse to tighten it because it is a lab grown diamond. They never mentioned this when I purchased the wedding band and agreed to solder them together. The guy who worked there was rude. Never gonna come back again.

😭They lost my wedding ring of 19 years! (Need I say more?!) When I went to pick up my ring, the ring with my slip was someone else’s. Supposedly, they have now found it and the repair shop switched my ring. However, I was surprised I wasn’t offered anything for my hour time waiting while they searched the store OR my time required to now drive back to the store to pick up my ring. I requested they mail overnight - they refused.Ultimately, I found out each Kay Jewelers uses a different repair shop - after reading the reviews here, I wish I would have chosen a different Kay Jewelers!!! PLEASE learn from my mistake (go somewhere else!).😡UPDATE: I went back in today to pick up my ring since the manager PROMISED it would be ready yesterday and my ring wasn’t in the store. “It is not lost, we just aren’t sure where it is right now.” Though offered a gift card by the 1-800 customer service, I just want MY RING! Avoid this location.UPDATE 2: A few hours later they located the ring & my husband picked it up for me. 🎊🎉. The staff and manager were apologetic.

Got an engagement ring here, everyone was very friendly and smiley. My sales rep was nothing but helpful, patient, and not pushy. He showed me just about every ring he had that matched what I was looking for no matter what the price was and helped tremendously with my decision (even suggested a ring on the lower price range that was one of the better matches, which surprised me). I definitely recommend this place and will be going back for future jewelry purchases

I purchased a ring in February 2016. My stone fell out and because the return time period had passed, they sent it back and I got a new one in January 2017. My stone fell out again yesterday and the return time period has passed again and they refuse to give me a full refund. It is not acceptable as this was not my fault. There is no reason why they cannot refund me my money. At this point, I do not want to exchange it for anything else in the store, I just want my money back.

Bought my ring on january 14, 2016 and i had gems falling out less than 4 months later.... i know i purchased a warranty on the rind but they wouldnt honor it for some reason and made me pay to get it fixed. also told me they would call when my ring was back in the store after 5 business days... waited 2 weeks for a call and got nothing so i went in and asked about it they told me the ring had been there for a week and they were sorry and mustve forgotten to call because they had a lot of stuff coming in. this store doesnt even deserve one star in my opinion, they were so rude and didnt follow up with what they said they were going to do. defiantly going somewhere else next time.

I bought an engagement ring from this Kay Jewelers within the mall and I cannot believe the customer service I got. First off, the woman assisting me seemed irritated and in a hurry to get my money which is to be expected since theyre located in a mall. What really got me though are these:10% was NOT taken off my order after applying for their credit card. I ended up being declined anyways for no valid reason.She did not offer to clean the ring of its disgusting fingerprints and grime. I had to wipe it off with just my shirt.She GOUGED the ring!!! Gouged the ever living daylights out of it trying to get a ring size adjuster on it. I saw her gripping the band with pliers and tearing up the metal and almost told her to forget it but I didnt want to seem rude and waited until we left to take the metal adjuster off. My ring band is completely destroyed and I will be taking it to a different kay jewelers to get it resized AND fixed. I just cannot believe an employee thought it was ok to sell me a ring in that condition. Skip this one and find a jeweler out in town.

I had requested for watch repair back on October and I get a call on January 24 after about four months and telling me that the cost to fix my watch is $165. At the time of I submitted request for the service my cost was $0.0 and now it jumped to $165.Not trustworthy enough for any purchase or service anymore. Bad customer service.

This store doesnt deserve one star! I bought an Ever Us ring on July 4, 2016. I wanted a yellow gold ring but there wasnt one available in store. The girl told me to take the white gold one (not my size and without a box) promised me theyd get my YG aND would call me when it arrived. August, I tried to return the ring was promised my yg was coming. September, Tried to exchange it for earrings promised my ring was coming. After 90 days their treatment and attitude towards me changed. Six months later NO RING, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, BELITTLED, 3 different managers, and worst experience of my life! I finally get a kay specialist who allowed a full return of my ring. Went in to the Mall of America met Katie (the current manager) who took the ring aggressively, started processing the return AFTER I TOLD HER I WANTED TO SPEAK TO THE KAY SPECIALIST ABOUT MY KAY CASH AND CASH I PAID AT ORIGINAL purchase, I said I wanted to do my return at Rosedale due to her attitude and she snapped at me! Said it was done NOTHING WAS GOING TO be GIVEN TO ME. Not my 300 dollar cash i paid in july not my kays cash. They owe me $$$! She degraded me in front of public about not having a cell phone (I hate cell phones.), talked to me like a child, and refused to allow to take my transaction to another store. They did try to give me a YG size 6 ring with clouded diamonds and initials stamped on the inside in December and got offended when I refused to accept it. I got called belligerent because I was unsatisfied. WORSE PLACE EVER!!! DONT BUY FROM THEM. YOU AS A CUSTOMER DESERVE BETTER!
