My fiancΓ© and I had an amazing experience today at this Zales. We had visited several other jewelers and hadn’t really been impressed by the service or selection and had been planning on visiting Zales after having like some of their wedding bands on the website. Sadly there was an issue where the website said they closed at the wrong time and we were arriving as they were closing. But Taylor was incredibly kind and helped us quickly after close to find the correct size and look at the ring we came to see quickly. Thanks Taylor you were a huge help and we will definitely be back to this store to purchase our rings soon.

The experience I had with Zales was a NIGHTMARE. I had bought my fiance a band online for our wedding that was happening in 2.5 months. We ended up ordering the wrong size on accident. We went to the Mall of America store in order to exchange the ring for the exact same one but in a smaller size. The woman who helped us had no idea what she was doing. She returned our original ring purchase saying that they could not do an even exchange because the smaller size ring was not available and would have to be special ordered. She also stated that this may take 8-12 weeks or longer, which would be cutting it close to our wedding day. Few things here:1. She returned the ring and failed to inform me that due to their return policy, they would be refunding me via a store credit gift card rather than directly back to my visa. She had told me it would go back onto the card and only later in the day when I received an email from Zales did I find out that I was actually getting store credit.2. The ring in the size we needed was available online, therefore, we did not need a special order however, she was adamant that we were wrong and she was correct. On top of everything else, because it was special ordered, she would not honor the original price we paid for the first one which was about $100 dollars cheaper. We reluctantly bought the special ordered ring (not realizing the refund wasnt going back onto my visa)3. Once we called customer service when we got home and found the email stating our refund was store credit only, the customer service representative stated that we were well within the exchange policy, the order should not have been a special order, and the ring was available online in the size we needed. The service representative was absolutely wonderful and about the only reason this place even deserves one star. Unfortunately, all they could do was refund me the original purchased ring back onto my visa and the $80 difference would be store credit (WHYYY???)So after an entire afternoon and evening of customer service phone calls, we ended up getting the correct size ordered but again, they would not honor the original price we paid and would not offer any additional discounts for time lost, them making the mistake, our hassle, ect. Along with this, they would not apply the $80 store credit to the order either. Might as well throw the gift card on the street because no way in h*** will we be giving them any more of our business. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

We had a great experience! Both workers were busy with other customers when we walked in. They both acknowledged we were there and that they would help us as soon as possible. We were in looking for an anniversary band for my wedding ring. I had previously looked online at available options so I knew what I wanted. When it was our turn to be helped I applied hand sanitizer as did the lady who helped us. I pointed out the ring I wanted to look at. She took my wedding ring, sanitized it and then put the new band with my ring. It was perfect! Check out was smooth and efficient. I did not have my previously purchased warranty paperwork with and she looked it up so I wouldnt get charged to have my rings soldered and dipped. I was very satisfied with their customer service, time frame for sending out my rings and getting them back and their cleanliness! We will be doing more business with them in the future!

My ring was suppose to be ready on the 1st of may 2021 estimated date. you know the website on your receipt to check to see if your stuff is ready well i checked and it said it was ready for pickup but did i receive a phone call from them no i didnt (meaning zales) so i gave it a few more days to see if they would call me still no. so i went there myself and boom it was it was ready so i asked them why dont they answer the phone its always there busy but when i got there it was dead no business wow. i love my pieces of jewelry but not impressed with the follow thru

No one has a clue what to do when it comes to making sure your custom jewelry is fixed correctly. My ring has been in the shop more then I got to wear it! And now they can’t fix it, why even bother getting a life time warranty when it doesn’t even last two years?! CHEAP AND TERRIBLE.

Ive been trying to contact the store for the last 2 weeks everyday. Never gotten an answer. Called customer service to see where my ring was that I paid over $800.00 over two months ago! Called customer service just for them to tell me they got a hold of the store and that they would reach out to me. Never got a call back. Called customer service again and they told me again someone would reach out to me within 2 days. 2 days later. No call. No email. Nothing. Took my money and got no product in return. Where is it?!Either give me the ring or give me my money back. Being tossed around telling me someone would reach and no one has. Its a real disappointment. I work in the bridal industry. I understand the need for restricting the amount of people in the store, but a 8.5x11 sheet of paper mixed among two ads on a counter behind a customer is not enough of a notice. The lady behind the counter snapped at my son and I in front of 3 other customers. Two of the other customers turned and walked away as well.Now, lets talk staffing. DO NOT BUY FROM ZALES. PERIOD.My fiancΓ© bought my ring online and was never prompted to buy a warranty but was under the impression it was covered. I had to go into the store for the bi-annual cleaning and needed a repair done on my stone. First, my fiancΓ©s information could not be located in their system. AT ALL. Like the transaction didnt exist. Then, found out that we didnt actually have the warranty on the ring, and had to purchase it then to make sure I was covered. Next, I had to be issued a brand new diamond bond number as they didnt have record of the number we were given for the ring. Now, I am waiting for my ring to come back from the repair facility and it has been about a month already. Tried calling the store for the past two days multiple times and no answer. Not even able to leave a voicemail for a call back on the status of my ring. Called customer service that was able to give me a bit more detail on my ring status but was still instructed to get in touch with the store. We will NOT be buying our wedding bands there. These rings are expensive, you would think there would be better customer service when large purchases are at play. I love my ring but if I could go back in time and pick out something else from another jeweler, I would in a heartbeat.

This store is joke and I mean that!! There customer service is the worst that is if you can ever get the store to answer the phone because they never do. They take your money and never ship your items and then come up with an excuse as to why it hasnt shipped or is late. I ordered something on 1/12 that had expedited 2-3 shipping and have yet to recieve but you best believe they charged my card the $2,400 price. SO they got paid but I have no item just a label that was created for UPS so they could take my money. When I finally reach the store a manager from another location states my item is in the safe and the system wont recognize it to transfer it in from online however my item didnt come from online it was in store the whole time and shipping from my local store. I was supposed to have it by the 13th yet I have nothing. The online customer service is just as bad dont know nothing, have to send tickets to the e-commerce team that takes 2 weeks just ridiculous. WHAT AM I GETTING FOR MY INCONVENIENCE??? I NEED A CREDIT, DISCOUNT OR SOMETHING BECAUSE THIS IS PATHETIC!!

Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had with a jewelry store. It’s been a nightmare to try and get my ring resized and on top of that, I scheduled an appointment today at 2pm to get it resized- I had them confirm my appointment and I show up today and the store is closed. We spent the better part of $1000 on a pair of rings for my fiancΓ©e and me. We are trans women, and while I was blessed with slender fingers for an amab person, Ameera was not. Rings do not come in her size by default. When we found the perfect ring for her, it had a link for if your size isnt listed which basically set up an appointment at the store.When I got there, it was clear there wasnt really an appointment process in use, but Im patient and to be fair it was December. When I sat down with a salesman I was actually quite happy. He found us some savings and said that since they didnt have it in her size what they would do is order it to the store and immediately send it out to be resized at no additional cost.My ring arrived first and it fit as expected. It was gorgeous, and my heart leapt when she officially proposed. If that had been the only ring, Id have nothing to say against them.As you may have guessed, when her ring arrived it was *not* sent out immediately. We got called to come pick it up. I reminded them it was supposed to be resized. They put a note on it and I didnt hear back for a few days. Then the manager told me that if I wanted it resized, I had to buy a warranty or else pay an even more expensive price to resize without a warranty. He apologized for the misinformation but refused to take accountability. I had to call customer service and the rep I spoke to seemed to get indignant on my behalf. I felt heard and confident it would be dealt with. Then I was called by that store manager who offered a non-compromise on New Years Eve. Specifically, that they would cover one of the resizings (apparently going from a size 9 to 11 counts as two resizings??) which came out to $60 instead of $70 for the lifetime warranty... When I expressed my dismay his tone became very curt and rude and he hung up on me. Keep in mind, he *still* has the ring we *already paid for*.I called the service number again to amend the case report and that person was likewise appalled at the treatment. We were told that we ought to hear back in 7-10 business days. We did not. When I called them again the person I spoke with said that it appeared no one had looked at the report since it was escalated and had no idea what to suggest at this point besides try to get in touch with the district manager.We called the store and nobody picked up so instead we called a different store and *their* manager sounded much more friendly, agreed that it made sense to offer a gratis resizing since hers wasnt available, and promised to text her DM to let them know that we wanted to get in touch.That last part was today so we dont yet have a resolution, but I feel comfortable in saying that if you plan to shop Zales, avoid the MoA store.

Purchased online, but I’m sharing my experience everywhere! Zales is a scam.I purchased a jewelry set for my mom on May 11th. The set included earrings, bracelet, and a necklace. On May 15, I received just the bracelet without the rest of the set. I called customer care to report the issue on the same day. I was given a ticket number and informed that they would need to check cameras in order to verify my claim. I’ve contacted customer care several times since then. It has been weeks without a response from zales. I was told I would hear from them in a matter of 10 days, but I have yet to hear from them. Whenever I call, they don’t provide me with any information or updates regarding my claim. I spent a total of $225.05 on the purchase and they have refused to refund my money on June 2, 2020. I asked to speak with a supervisor. They said a manager would call me within 24 hours. I received a call from them, but it hung up after barely a first ring. This is a tactic that I’ve seen businesses use before; they call a number and hang up immediately and lie about the customer not answering their phone.

Visited on Sunday 1/5/2020 between 1 and 3pm.Never greeted with a hello or how can I help you.I started off by asking the older lady to clean my ring (purchased from Zales) she was beyond rude! Didnt even say yes and just held her hand out and rolled her eyes. I wanted to have a clean sparkly ring when I was going to try on bands with it.Got my ring back and thanked her. I then proceeded to look at bands. Wanting to purchase. I asked to look at a couple. Again she didnt say a peep and just set the rings down. At this point I felt very uncomfortable by her rudeness. Huffing, puffing and rolling of the eyes.I was also on the hunt for 3 pairs of new earrings but didnt want to bother her at that point. Ill take my business to Eden Prairie where they appreciate and welcome their customers. Will never step foot back in the MOA Zales.Wish I got her name. There were only two ladies working when I was there. One was helping another customer. This lady was shorter with darker hair.

We came in on Black Friday looking for wedding bands expecting the store to be swamped. While we were left waiting at many other jewelry stores, we returned here three times and were helped within minutes each time. Josh in particular was very helpful, assisting us in finding just the perfect contour band to match my fiancees ring. When we found one we both liked, but was a little out of our price range, he was very respectful of our choice and continued helping us search without getting pushy at all. We really appreciated the experience we had.

My fiancΓ© and I went there to my engagement ring sized and will not be going back. We explained that it was my engagement that he had gotten for me and to start off they couldn’t figure out how to even look up the transaction. Well is under your name or his name? Well he bought it so why don’t you just try that. Then they proceeded to ask him well how did you pay for it? Mhmm I don’t think that question should be asked and then oh yes is this the right amount? I don’t care how much he paid for my ring but I am willing to bet this doesn’t happen with straight couples. And then when we went back to pick up the ring, my fiancΓ© wanted to purchase the extended warranty as per the manager it would be cheaper then paying to have it sized. And then again the lady that was helping us asked again well how did you pay for it? You have got to be kidding me!!! Again just look up the transaction via his telephone number and pricing should not be discussed, especially with engagement rings!!!! We will not be going back there to get our wedding bands or any other jewelry in the future!!!

Not happy at all! No one seems to know what the policies and procedures are that work here. Rude service on the phone. My rings have sat in a safe for days without any repairs we asked to be made and no phone call to let us know it had been return from the repair service. All we asked for was the 14K white gold to be redipped and the two bands be saudered together. Doesn’t seem all too difficult. And then to be told this would have to be discussed with store manager tomorrow! Ugh!!!!! Very upset customer.

I went in there in October with my wife to replace my broken wedding ring. We have lifetime trade value and I selected a ring I liked but they would not get it in store without full payment even though I had the trade. Then in November a sales associate was able to special order the ring and said up to 8 weeks. After about 12 weeks nothing came in and no call even though I had put down 500, and when I called they said the ring could only be purchased online. So now Im back to square one and its been about 5 months. I refuse to order online and pay in full for a ring that I plan to pay cash plus the trade in. The corporate office wouldnt even respond, and the store manager is working on it. I urge new customers to go to a better rated store. Weve filed an official complaint with the BBB, so well see if this store wants to be helpful or not. Its really sad to see this level of disrespect for something that they promote so much - love.

Salespeople were very rude and cold... they lied to us to push a sale by saying the sale ended the next day, I looked it up and it doesnt end till 6 days from when we were told it ended, sales staff didnt understand the credit process. bad sales tactics. How about trying to make the customer feel special? maybe a smile? an engagement ring is a big deal, I was turned off by the staff at this location, they need training in customer service and product knowledge. Also when offered a zales credit card my girlfriend asked for a brochure for consideration and they wouldnt sacrifice 1 brochure even tho they had a stack of 20... dont go here if you want to feel special while spending thousands... maybe try the other locations.

Almost every piece of jewelry I own is from Zales and they have been absolutely amazing helping me pick out what Im looking for. My inspection and cleaning on all my peices are done in a timely manner! 4 days before my wedding I needed engraving done and suddering done and the guy who does that work came to the store to meet me and had it all done within 1 day and I was able to pick it up the following day again with the guy who did the work to make sure its perfect for me. The sales people have been wonderful and I personally wouldnt go anywhere else but the MOA Zales! Wonderful place to work with and absolutely beautiful jewelry!!

Mt fiancΓ© and I went into the store for an inspection and cleaning, and both associates were working with other customers. There was another couple waiting for a cleaning and inspection before us. We, and the other couple, waited for 25 minutes for our turn. In the process, another group came in to look at rings. The associate (the one who would eventually help us) finished with the customer she was working with and helped the other couple waiting for a cleaning first, as she should have. She finished with them and looked at us and said the other customers were there before us, and helped them first. Reminder: we had already been waiting 25 minutes and the other group had come in within the last 5 minutes. I told the lady they were not there first and was ignored. I feel that we were not treated with respect, and I was very upset. I guess after my fiancΓ© spending so much on a ring for me, I expected to be treated and respected as a Zales customer. For anyone going in for an insection and cleaning, my advice is to leave your inspection papers in your purse, so they think youre going to purchase something. That way, they may still treat you as a valued customer.. instead of a nuisance they just have to clean

I went into the Mall of America Store on Saturday the 11th of June. at 7:00pm. My fiancΓ© and I asked the associate if they could clean our engagement ring. The associate took the ring and did not look at it she just used a spray bottle and rag to wipe the ring down, which took 10 seconds and handed it back to us. I was confused at why it was so quick. We took the ring back and asked the associate to explain the inspection process that is supposed to take place every 6 months with the insurance we bought on the initial purchase. She proceeded to tell us we needed our paper work for when we bought the ring and the insurance plan papers. I asked the associate what happens if we do not have the paper work? Can you help us look it up? She asked if we bought it here, and we explained that we bought it at the eden prairie mall. The associate then claimed that we needed to go back to the mall that we bought it from to re-print the paper work and she said she couldnt do the inspection process at the Mall of America. The associate was rude and acted like she did not want to help us, hurrying us out of the store and acting as if we were a burden to her. As we left the mall, I called the eden prairie store I spoke to an associate there and she explained the ACTUAL cleaning process to me, where they look at it under a microscope and put it in the cleaning machine for 5-8 minutes. The associate from Eden Prairie I talked to over the phone also explained that I DO NOT need to go to the Eden Prairie mall to get my paper work re-printed and she then explained the inspection process to me and she was also confused at the actions the Mall of America Associate took. I am confused by this employees actions, how the associates are informed and informed and the terrible customer service we received after spending over $3,000.00 on a single purchase. We still have to purchase the wedding band and a ring for the groom. We are rethinking where we are going to purchase these items in the upcoming months because of this.
