Great overall experience working with Community Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Bloomington. I have leased cars for years and this was my first time buying a vehicle and the process to trade in my lease was easier than I thought due to the staff at this location. I have been looking for a specific Jeep and once it came up in my search I contacted the dealership. Within minutes Tom was emailing me and texting me information about the jeep and put a hold on it so I could come take a look and decide if it was the right one for me. There was no real sales pitch making me feel pressured to take any offer they presented. Tom asked me where I would like to see my payments be and we could see how close we could get to making it happen. In the past I have felt like other car dealers were not straight up with price and would go back and forth with offers depending on if it looked like I was going to get up and walk away. I was in and out of there in 3 hours with my new car at a good price and it felt great! In my opinion it is a Very good dealership if you are looking for a stress free car buying experience.

Stating the business operates under a “first come first served” basis is a bold lie to tell your customers. I waited 7 hours for routine maintenance. Even claiming diagnostics, which I didn’t ask for btw, takes a long time is difficult for me to believe when I saw the same employee helping another customer before helping me.I feel disrespected by these employees. I don’t feel my time was valued as a paying customer. I’ve been using this garage for years and I will not be using it again.
Joey in sales was fantastic, strong product knowledge and very personal. Found what we wanted and made it work, couldn’t ask for more. JP in finance explained all products and packages very thoroughly and was quick to offer us helpful guidance on our paperwork.Could not ask for a better experience.

I love Dodge as a brand. I have an older Dodge Ram truck and a Jeep Wrangler. However, I’ll never take my vehicles to this location to be serviced again nor will I buy from here in the future.I took my truck in to have the spark plugs and a coil replaced. They recommended that they replace all of the coils and a leaky oil hose that they found, and I agreed. However, when I picked my truck up, it ran really bogged down and was revving really low. I went back to the mechanic and he said “we replaced what you asked us to do, it’ll be a few weeks until we can look at it”. Something that would have taken five minutes to check before I got there or once I brought it to their attention (if they somehow didn’t notice in the first place) was too much of a burden. It turns out I just needed to unplug the battery to reset the computer and it runs fine, but I had to figure that out on my own because the mechanics essentially said “not our problem”.Fast forward to when I get home, I notice my overhead light is on and that the clicker is broken. I never turn it on and had not touched it since picking up my truck. When I took my truck to the dealership for repairs, I had to leave it there over the weekend. Whether it was their mechanic or someone else in the lot, my light was broken at their facility. Instead of making it right and doing a seemingly inexpensive repair, they again gave me the “not my problem” answer.I’m sure there’s good folks at this location but they have lost my future business.
Quick and painless overall. Chris and JP were friendly and experienced. There were a few issues with my new ride that they are taking care of with grace. They also originally offered to tint my windows and I took them up on it! My credit isnt the best however they found me options and I took the best one for our family.
I am active duty military and stationed at fort Campbell Ky. I found the truck I wanted at this location so I drove the 300 miles to the dealership to check it out. I spoke with kris Murphy, he answered all my questions before I ever left, super helpful. They had it ready for me when I arrived loved it! Paperwork was ready for me to sign with in minutes of beings there. Unfortunately my bank couldn’t do their part and wire the funds over to them so I didn’t get to drive it home. However they made sure I was well taken care of. Let me take my trade back home and they would deliver it the next day and bring the the traded truck back to the dealership. Awesome experience truly!
Ive lived all over the US and this is the single best car dealership Ive ever been to. They are so hospitable, effecient, skilled, and respectful of your time. Ive been to this location multiple times and each time theyve finished working on my car early. If it were possible to hug an entire car dealership, I would hug this one.

The team at Community are great. We had the best experience and Adam made sure our little family was taken care of. My daughter has been pushing for a Wrangler since she could drive. I was disinterested in the increased expense over other options. Then I had a replacement of her vehicle at the wrong market time. The folks at Community Cars and their offerings walked me thru the process of meeting my needs and desires. I wanted something that held value and meet our use.Jason Clark stepped in and gave me the hands in review. I sided on going the Wrangler route as they are market strong and hold their value. Owners are re-buying new Jeep’s and has put a better availability for nice pre-owned great units. If it’s not in the lot today your specs for your Wrangler will be sooner than other breeds. Jason and the staff at Community Jeep know their Jeeps. They have them themselves and trade-up as well. They are more than price competitive and will insure that they meet your list of desires today or will contact you when that vehicle comes into their hands tomorrow. A dealership can offer extended warranties if that is desired also. Why shop around. Go to a solid source that will bring you a inspected and serviced vehicle instead of picking up one that is probably in need of something and then it’s in your lap! I bought a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. I was able to test drive 4 different models on the lot, which allowed me to select the right vehicle for me. Sales department left much to be desired when I called looking at a vehicle. Purchased a vehicle else where because of this. Took me vehicle in for a warranty issue as they are the local dealership, and the service department was even worse. They will charge you for warranty work, then you can call and get reimbursed by Jeep, but after this experience I dont trust them very much, seems they just care about money and not what the customer says or whats in the book thats covered.Ill be traveling a little further for any type of service and purchase, but seems like it will be worth it over all not to deal with this dealership.

Its been 16 years since I had bought a new car. and the service has not changed. Great service with people who take the time to work with you and find the car you need. Answered all my questions and did not try to talk me into something I did not want or could not afford
Horrible experience. Drove 2 hours to possibly purchase a vehicle advertised as just arrived after viewing video of the vehicle.. Salesman failed to video the huge dings on the drivers side of the car. In addition to this he did not call out an issue with the rear passenger lock. The lock would not work when using the remote. This was apparent after watching walk around video where salesman tried to open that door. After arriving I received no apology for withholding hidden issues with vehicle. I only got the call out that the vehicle had just arrived. After test driving vehicle I realized there were issues with brakes, alignment and body panels that needed to be fixed. I asked if the vehicle had went through an inspection and salesman said no but it would. We negotiated a price and salesman and sales manager agreed to fix the issues called out and send car through full inspection. As a result I put a deposit to hold the vehicle while awaiting repairs to be completed. Returned to test drive vehicle after repairs and possibly purchase vehicle but realized during test drive that there was still a drivability issue. I called this out and asked if vehicle had gone through a full inspection and salesman said no they only repaired what I asked them to do? Salesman abruptly said we put $1100 in repairs on this vehicle for you? I asked again about the full inspection and called out the drivability issue but the salesman abruptly said we will refund your deposit. I again explained that the vehicle wobbled horribly at higher speeds but the salesman chose not to listen to the details and lost a sale. Meanwhile a few days after this horrible experience I decided to look at their website and saw the same vehicle reposted with no picture stating “we are currently putting this car through our reconditioning process which includes multi point inspection from our certified service department, a complete interior and exterior detail and a full photo shoot and walk around video soon to come”. In addition it was stated that they take pride in every vehicle that comes to our lot and all efforts are made to represent each vehicle accurately. In short, poor customer service and no sale.

Quoted $4000 to repair a coolant leak.Local mechanic fixed it for >$400.Had countless other similar issues with them before but dont have the time to explain all of them.Bottom line: I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere based on my 3 years of experience dealing with them.Edit:Went to test drive a gladiator. The salesman knew less about the truck than I did and spent most of the test drive talking about his musical preferences.
Everything went well, they did not try to low ball my trade . Everything was ready my jeep was ready when i got there . I would definitely recomend them . I bought a truck from Community ford and it was just as pleasant . Community is a great dealership.

I had somewhat of a unique situation with my jeep being leased from a dealership out of state, Kris and the entire staff were super understanding and helpful in the process of me buying the car off the lease. As a young adult the process of buying a car on your own is very stressful but Kris was helpful in explaining the entire process to me and making sure I knew what was going on. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a car dealership where the employees truly care about helping the clients.

Community Jeep made our buying experience very easy. Our salesman Jason Clark and the Community team worked to exceed our expectations with our trade-in and new vehicle purchase.
Called on a whim to see if they could match the price on a CPO Ram 1500 Big Horn quoted by a dealership about 100 miles away. Was told they could probably get me a deal if I came in and test drove a non CPO Express. Vehicle 100 miles away was same year, same mileage, and had a few more features (CPO Big Horn) than vehicle tested here (Express with remaining factory warranty). Test drove the vehicle and came back expecting to have a conversation about keeping business local and a better/similar price than the dealership 100 miles away. Upon returning the best total price the dealership was willing to offer was $4000 more than the total purchase price of the dealership 100 miles away. The $4000 difference didnt even include the extended warranty offered.
We continue to love the Jeep brand; now have Gladiator (Rubicon) and a Gladiator (Mohave), thanks to Kris Murphy and the team at Community CDJR in Bloomington. Friendly and knowledgable, low pressure, and just good people.
In my personal opinion, this dealership can not be trusted. Under no circumstances should you take your vehicle to this outfit for repairs. In my personal opinion, based on my personal experience, they will disable your vehicle, then suggest a series of necessary repairs with escalating costs that exceed the value of the vehicle. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I have looked for 6 months to find the Jeep i wanted and let me tell you, I live about an hour from Chicago and nobody in my area wanted to sell me a car. I searched on a whim one day going further south, found this place, and as an added bonus, the jeep I was looking for. Called them up, told them I lived about 3 hours away and asked what kind of deal would they give me for my other jeep over the phone. Made the deal and drove the 3 hours to get there. Tom was my salesman and he was super cool! I appreciate him and this business! I highly recommend purchasing from here.

Car was brought into dealer for a safety recall issued by Chrysler. Service department did not want to perform the work under warranty. Unfortunately for them they will learn to get the money to repair the damages from the manufacture. Will need to have a third party to inspect engine after repairs are done to make sure they where performed correctly and with certified manufacture parts. Red flag here. The service department makes more money per labor hour on repairs from out of pocket payees. Bottom line service department did not want to work with manufacture to get repairs paid, asked me to do that. Its up to them to get the money reimbursed for warranty work, not the owner of the vehicle.Updated Review-Its been three weeks since my car as been at this dealership. It has been determined the engine has failed due to a defective recall part that was installed on my car in 2014. There is no such thing as Out of warranty according to FCA LLC (Dodge, Mopar) on recall parts. Dealership has not provided any paperwork to me on my car, only told me to contact their lawyer. I still do not have my car, it is not fixed, and the problem is with the safety recall. This is an on going issue, there where approx. 56,000 cars effected. At the end of the day Mopar is responsible for the repairs. The dealership has not been working with me to get the problem resolved. Please see broken parts I was charged $3202 for from the dealership and I had to tow the car myself to a garage mechanic. They never fixed my car, they where attempting to sink me in excess repairs so they could keep it and then resell it. BEWARE

To be clear this review is for Community Nissan in Bloomington, IN not Community Chrysler. I drove in three lots looking at inventory and at least 4-5 Community Nissan staff members were the only ones that came out to greet me...all of them waving and smiling. Hannah Barton came out and answered all of my questions about the trucks and lured me in with 0% financing! From start to finish, it was a smooth process and Hannah was transparent with everything! I was offered a great trade-in allowance on my car and I was also offered a great price on their truck. We were in and out in no time at all. It was a very happy experience! I would recommend any and all to buy a vehicle from Nissan. The 5 year 100,000 mile warranty on the electronics and powertrain gave me the peace of mind I needed!
My agent, Adam, was helpful and efficient as well as professional. However, even though they have signs up that say masks are required, other employees were not wearing their masks. It did not make me feel particularly safe entering. Adam did his best to help us - I waited in my car while they got the paperwork ready - and I signed in the vestibule.

I’ve been to the service department 3 times since my Jeep Wrangler was purchased new with the steering stabilizer recall aka death wobble issue yet they seem to digress about the issue though the part didn’t fix the problem.
The power of negative reviews. These ppl treated me so poorly that I feel the need to remind them the impact of their actions. Not only did they bill me $3202.00 for repairs that should have been covered under warranty due to a second recall on my Dodge Challenger by the time I had to tow the car to a garage mechanic and pay for repairs that they actually damaged my car the total out of pocket cost was $8,000.00 They could have had my repairs covered under warranty by Dodge (they even admitted this) they tried to steal my car. They did everything they could to try to keep me from retrieving my car from their dealership. When I picked it up from there it was in storage and had dings in the door. They never offered me a rental car but offered it to a man who had a similar experience. They took advantage of me because I am a female. I know that this review will reach so many people and end up costing them 10Xs what they cost me. They wanted to keep my car so they could resell it and I was not going to let that happen. Stay away from the CROOKS who when I took my car there not only did they NOT FIX anything, They actually costed more engine damage to my car as well as body damage. THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
