Brennan, our salesperson, did a fantastic job helping us to find the vehicle we were looking for. He was very knowledgeable in answering all our questions and was a pleasure to work with. We were unable to make the trip to Bloomington at this time but we were able to complete the financing arrangements on line and Brennan delivered the vehicle to our driveway. We totalled our car and only wanted to test drive a few models. The sales guy, Nathan, was very friendly and accommodating and there was no pressure. We found one we liked and bought it a week later. Last time we bought a car, financing took two hours but we were in and out in less than an hour. Highly recommend checking out Community. Good people

Everyone was more than helpful. I was a little picky on the car since I have trouble getting in and out of one. But they even took a tape measure to see if the ones they showed me would work. They found one that I liked, I drove it and was happy so I bought it!! I would recommend anyone that needs a new or used car to go to Community Ford Lincoln in Bloomington. Steve in the service department saved us and fixed our F150. Another shop messed up the threads on our oil plug rendering our truck inoperable since it could not hold oil. The other shop did not know how to fix it. We called Community Ford and asked for help. They took mercy and worked us in to a busy schedule and fixed the problem quickly and correctly and got us back on the road at a reasonable price. Thank you Community Ford of Bloomington!

I had an appointment with the Service dept, this was my first visit there, and it felt like it went well. Im guardedly optimistic it will be my new place...The front desk person was pleasant and attentive but not hovering, They did the service I ordered and had a recommendation for next time but werent pushy about it. The waiting area was comfortable and it didnt take longer than they said it would.

Gerry LaPadula was my salesperson and provided excellent service. I reached out to him late in the day on a vehicle I was pretty confident I wanted to purchase and he took the time to take a video of the entire vehicle and commented on the condition. This was very helpful, opposed to just looking at photos. He answered my texts late into the night to ensure I had an appointment for a test drive first thing the next morning. The car was exactly what I was looking for. Amazingly clean and drove wonderfully. I will look to Community Ford for my next car and I will request Gerry specifically. Great experience.

Very disappointing experience. Took my car in for a diagnostic, what they had stated was TWICE as expensive for the same repairs quoted at a different ford dealership. If that was not bad enough, they also charged for fraudulent items that were clearly already in working order. On top of it all I was forced to pay an outrageous $115.00 diagnostic fee, easily twice as expensive compared to other shops. Please avoid their garage like the plague. I cannot speak to their sales team, but from the joy I have had with their mechanic side I will never consider doing business with them.

The sales team is top notch. Salesman, Phil Stapleton, and finance team Randy and Jeff were so helpful in getting us into the car we wanted. I had just purchased a 2021 explorer in February of this year. When it was totaled on vacation, I didn’t know how we would be able to get exactly what we wanted with inventory so low! They went above and beyond to make it happen for us! I am so grateful for their excellent customer service.

I will never step foot in Bloomington Community Ford again. Their customer service and service department lack knowledge and communication skills. They had my car for over three weeks and nothing was done to fix my vehicle. I got the same lies and run around over my 2017 Ford Escape. It was towed there from Ford Assistance for repairs after breaking down. This vehicle was covered under warranty and all they did was argue with another Ford dealership from a workmanship issue. They provided a rental vehicle for 2 of the three weeks and then I was charged for it after it was towed to Louisville because of their lack of professionalism. Joe Bond is a liar and will hang up on you when you ask to speak to his boss. Their service department did nothing to resolve the issue. Beware!!

My wife and I have been casually looking for another car for her, the car we had for her was still a very dependable car and still looked and drove nice but was starting to have high miles so we knew we should probably start looking. Saturday we had gone out for breakfast and afterwards we thought we would drive through car lots in Spencer where we live, as soon as I had pulled into the lot We were approached by a very friendly down to earth salesman. I had asked him about a vehicle they had on the lot, he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we had asked about, however it wasn’t the one for us, we then found the vehicle that we actually bought, the manager and salesman we dealt with were both really great, worked with us, very patiently and worked with us to make the deal happen. We are both very pleased not only with the car purchase but the whole experience was very pleasant and we would highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle, thank you for a great experience!

On July 30th I took my vehicle to Community Ford Lincoln to have new high beams and low beams lights installed in my car. I personally purchased these bulbs and tried to install them myself. I was able to install the passenger side light bulbs but couldn’t get the passengers side in. I took my vehicle to Community Ford and specifically told them I wanted the new bulbs installed that where located in my glovebox, I even called after I left to remind them of the location of the new bulbs. Later that day I received my car and later that night I went out to test my “new” lights. They where still yellow tinted, my new light bulbs are white. I opened my glove box and there sat my two light bulbs. They removed my two new bulbs I installed, threw them out and installed the old ones that I threw on the floor. The next day I called several times and received no answer, I went to Ford and showed the employee there the lights that where still in my glovebox and I said “how are these installed in my car if they are still in my glovebox?” And they respond (I don’t know but no one can install them today!”) today I spoke with the service manager and asked for a refund and he denied any refund even though I paid for a service I technically didn’t receive. He said “you can bring your vehicle in or we can just part ways now” I simply want my money back to take my vehicle to another dealership as I do not trust them working on my vehicle. I have since contacted the Better Business Bureau and the Indiana Office of The Attorney General’s Office to assist is getting me my refund I’m entitled to since I paid for a service I didn’t receive.

Review by Carrie Stanley - Our organization purchased a used LE vehicle from this business. The vehicle shown in the photographs does not appear to be the vehicle delivered. There were numerous mechanical and cosmetic issues including leaking oil pan, leak in CV joint, leaking seal around rear door, front bumper clips broken and misaligned, coolant leak, transmission, leak, radiator packed with dust due to leak. None of this was disclosed during any of our discussions - the vehicle had less than 30k miles on it. As a used vehicle, we expected a few minor issues, but we did expect to be able to put it into use quickly. As I understand, repairs will take up to 4 weeks and cost thousands of dollars beyond the $27k we paid up front. When I called to speak to the sales person about the situation, I was told he would keep in mind I was expecting a usable vehicle if he ever heard from me again. I would not trust another purchase from this business.

Worst place I have ever been for service, I wouldnt even give it one star if I didnt have to. Had them do routine maintenance (tire rotation, oil change, filter changes, etc) - who could screw that up ---- they did. Check out these pictures … I have a dually and to properly rotate the tires you have to dismount them and remount them on the proper rims (so far 3 other dealers in 2 states have done this - and without issue.) You may also notice that the center rub cover is missing on the drivers side (yup - thats $100.00 bucks to replace). Live a learn ….

In July, the love of my life, 2007 Honda Pilot finally died, forcing me to purchase a new car. This was my first time ever buying a car on my own and as a result, I was very overwhelmed. I went to several different dealerships to look at every type of SUV but I received the best customer service at Community Ford in Bloomington. The man that help me (Paul Brannning) was extremely knowledgeable and honest about what to expect from the cars we looked at. He supplied me with lots of information but it never felt like a sales pitch. He was extremely personable and made the entire car shopping experience a great one. I stopped by a few more times after my initial test drive to look at the car and also to take it to be inspected. I was always made to feel like my business mattered even though I wasnt the top paying customer. In addition to loving the car (a 2016 Ford Edge) I also was so happy with my experience that I wanted to purchase the vehicle from them.After purchasing the car, I started to notice a flapping noise at high speeds, which progressively got worse over the next month and a half. I finally took it in to have things looked at. The service department was great and it only took a minute to hand over my keys to get it looked at. The same day, they called me back to let me know what was wrong. While the issue was minor (the pieces that hold the splash shield to the bottom of the car needed to be replaced) because I had just purchased the car from them, they said they would replace them with out charge.Without doubt, they continue to provide great customer service!!

Yesterday I purchased a 2017 Ford Raptor from Bloomington Ford. I live in central Wisconsin and cannot express how great of service was provided from this dealership. I would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Shawn Davis who was my salesman throughout this whole process. They were more than accommodating with everything I needed to get the deal done. Shawn even agreed to overnight me my paper work in Wisconsin and meet me half way to cut my drive in half. NOW THAT IS SERVICE! Shawn sent me pictures of my truck daily to keep me excited and in tune with everything that was happening. The dealership rush ordered my tonneau cover and had it installed the morning before meeting me to take delivery. When we met to do my vehicle trade, Shawn went over all the features of the new truck and was super excited for my wife and I. Shawn made sure the truck was fully detailed and full of gas for me to make my drive home. He went above and beyond again for us and said he ordered me a Ford Raptor beanie that matched the orange interior of my new truck. As I was entering my hometown after the 4 hour drive home, I received a text from Shawn checking in to make sure we got home safe. This is something that really showed he cared and is a genuine person. Not your typical car salesman! Great folks that walked me through everything and Im a bit picky and finicky about cars ^_^. They worked with me on getting my financing set up, discounts applied, and even some additional accessories and add one that I wanted. No grief for being female either, which is sometimes rate and annoying when buying a truck. Also no grief for being a millennial who doesnt carry checks. Fantastic dealer! I heard a strange noise coming from my car so I took it in for service and they weren’t able to find anything. Because they couldn’t find anything, they didn’t charge me at all! They also have a free shuttle service that will take you to/from the dealer while your car is getting repaired. Super friendly people in the service department! Would not hesitate to bring my car to Community Ford again!

My wife and I had been shopping other dealers across the state. Frankly? We were getting burned out. We knew exactly what we wanted. But it was a nightmare. We kept getting knucklehead after knucklehead, sales people cutting me off mid sentence when explaining what I was looking for, direct questions asked ignored and left unanswered, prices kept getting misquoted from their very own websites… we had our fill of this nonsense. It was utterly ludicrous.On a lark, we checked Bloomington Ford again, and noticed they had exactly what we were looking for and the numbers were close. It had just come in, in fact. So we walked in at 4:45PM on a Friday and were politely greeted by Miss Ali Dunn. I’m so very happy to have met this young woman! She is honest and knows her stuff, and she doesn’t try to put on airs or fake her way through not knowing an answer. She produced all records available to her (on request!), and was always friendly and polite. And you know what? It was 22F outside, so she offered to bring the car to us at the showroom to inspect!We went on a test drive after looking the vehicle over, and Ali was a total professional. She was relaxed and great to work with! She had a good route planned for us and was a great coach for my wife, who was nervous driving something so nice that was already much larger than her previous car. It couldn’t have gone better.After the test drive we got down to hard tacks, we drove a hard bargain with some very specific terms that needed met. And you know what? She and her F&I partner Brett stayed until 9PM, well past closing, to get the terms of the deal met. They were an absolute joy to work with. No drama, no pushy nonsense, just a couple of friendly professional adults acting like, well, friendly professional adults.After this spectacular treatment and care, we left with what is hands down the nicest vehicle my wife and I have ever owned. Better yet, we left with a fantastic warranty and a deal that didn’t leave me crying in the shower every morning! It was like someone was filming the perfect way to work a car deal, and no one let me in on the joke. Textbook.Let me leave you with this bit of free advice. I have used community forward to purchase multiple vehicles, and I couldnt possibly be more happy. There are several gentleman at the dealership and several women that have helped us get to where we need to be. They would not settle for anything less dense the best of efforts to get us exactly what we were looking for! I would highly recommend community for any vehicle purchase interests you may have. I happen to have 4 children all under the age of 7 and they had a play Room which they accommodated my children with to help keep things running smoothly while we went through and dealt with paperwork and any necessary red tapes. Jake was amazing with helping me get a loan for a jeep for my daughter and holding on to it while we drove 1 hr 45 min to get it. needed some recalls taken care of so they are going to deliver to my house so I dont have to drive back up there. A great experience will definitely purchase another care from them.

Never take your vehicle to get serviced here. Took my car in for a noise in the rear tire. They couldnt find a problem with it, but managed to have the check engine light come on the next when they worked on it. Then tell us that we need new plugs, new boots, and new coil. Then after those problems magically appear, the battery stops working! The tech had to jump it several times, so they claim. We have owned the vehicle for a year AND NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH IT!!!!! They are liars. Do not take your vehicle here, better yet dont buy a vehicle from them!
