Huge selection of books. Love their arts and craft section. Can find some cool and unquie miscellaneous items/gadgets.

After talking to customer service I found what I was looking for. I browsed and found few more things for the family. This store is very clean and well lit. There were things here I didnt know they carried movies, cds vinyl records. If your looking for classic albums for your collection you may want to check them out. Two thumbs up.

Nice place and friendly staff. Got a collectible figure there and it was damaged. Asked if I could get a small discount. Was told they wont do it unless it was damaged showed them the damaged and refused little upset but it was still nice

I’ve never been a book person myself and I just walked into this store at the Mall of America with my family, just by chance. First thing that surprised me, is the books market really going down as some people tell it is, after the advent of digital and social media? There was so much buzz of people in every direction I looked at.Every section of this books shop was stacked with so many different books. There were even different sections of toys and movie titles. The Starbucks was busy serving people at one end of the store.The kids section was spilling out with kids and their parents. Loved the sight of some of the parents reading out for their kids in the rest places. My uncle got me a book on Good to Great by Jim Collins picked from the Top Business Books and I felt I must take this book with me as a memorabilia from this beautiful store.It took me a good five minutes to stand on the line and checkout the book. The staff was kind and she patiently recommended the Barnes and Noble membership and explained its benefits. I just thought I could take it some other day and politely declined it. Nevertheless, this shop was just fantastic!

This is a really good Barnes and Noble. Most stores at the mall are great, but this one is exceptional. We found several hard to find books here including some religious texts Ive had a hard time finding over the years.

I love treasure stores, I mean book stores. If you love books, youll love it here. So many options for every age and every interest at every reading level. The childrens section is huge. Has a large selection of Manga for my weeb husband; an average selection of romance novels for my sappy self. Toys, gifts, music, puzzles etc. We have a haul every trip. So thankful they are still in business. Heres part of our haul:

For Manga this Barnes and nobles trends to have the best stocked, quickest restocked, selection in the twin cities; definitely of the southern twin cities though Southdale is good as well. Several times this summer found they had volumes on the shelf that Amazon was completely out of stock or had almost two month shipping to acquire...

Staff looked like they needed a break.The place was a little un organized. Books and garbage littered the floor. Slightly discouraged on making a repeat visit.

Not much of a reader but great selection of books. They also have console games for a very competitive price!

Its a chain book store so not as magical as locally owned bookstores. physical book stores are rare these days it really does feel good to go in and support them. They also have a vinyl and dvd/blueray section. Maybe a bit over priced but if you support physical media, Barnes and Noble is a good spot to support.

This one inside the mall of America. It is a great drop of point for dad so someone who does not interest much on shopping.

I ended up buying all the books pictured, there was just so much to look at and so much I wanted to read. They have a great variety and are very organized. I ended up buying way more than I intended to, but Im very excited. The find that made me the happiest was the Japanese folklore language studying guide.

This is the first time Ive been to the Starbucks in a very long time and they have some of the best food choices that Ive ever seen at Starbucks I tried their Pizza pretzel and it was absolutely to-die-for they also had a fetta and spinach kind also but they had amazing options for food and drink! And the line there wasnt that long like the other Starbucks around there

Its smaller than other Barnes & Noble stores I have frequented, but magazines are smaller than they used to be: surprisingly in square inches, number of pages & print size; I suppose to compete with phone screens.

Struck the motherload. They had just rolled out their pokemon stock. No limits on anything. Right now with how hard pokemon is to find, that was amazing.

I love the (new) additional nonfiction and current events section at the front. I always start and end my day at this mall at Barnes and noble because of the transit station being next door.

With so many book stores closed, Barnes & Noble doesnt disappoint. I can go in there and get lost in books and magazines yet a friendly staff is not far away to help. The smell of books is a treat and so is the Starbucks shop in the back(Mall of America). Unfortunately, there isnt seating but walking around with a cup of coffee is just fine with staff. The cashiers ask if you are a member but theres no longer a hard sell to get you to join.

Not following policy at this location. Also, only questioned a black family while I was there about their masks, while a white guy stood maskless not 4 feet away. So, questionable about who they attempt to apply it to at best. I didnt buy from this BN, and will happily just order from Amazon and Betterworld books and continue supporting the library.

Its kinda nice that some things/places never change. But we couldnt sit in there. I know, I know, I know... Covid. Its just nice sometimes to be able to sit and ponder. Also, the employees policed the aisles to make sure we/customers were not eating or even drinking out of straws under their masks in the store. I get it, but...

Quick service, staff bends over backwards to find what you are looking for. Cant recommend enough!

Always a pleasure to wander in and discover a new book to read. The new shelving and display system takes a bit to figure out but may help with discovering new literary treasures.

It was nice to sit down and have some coffee and food youre having to wear the mask you just relax for a min!
