This operation has a very strong grasp on the concept of LEAN and providing excellent customer service. The products are all local and they have consistent, low prices for high quality beds. This exceeded my expectations highly.

The product is great, but the customer service I had was terrible. I was there buying a mattress and box spring with my partner. The salesman did not address me or look at me when he was explaining the different mattresses to us. When I asked a question, he answered to my partner, still not acknowledging that I was there. I asked a question about the warranty of the product and my partner was the one he talked to and was the one that the pamphlets were given to that explained their policies. When it came to ringing us out, I paid with my card and the receipt was handed to my partner. Horrible customer service. I have never experienced this from any other store ever. In the future I will not shop at The Original Mattress Factory in Bloomington.

Horrible customer service and return policy. We purchased $4000 in beds from this store. 24 hours after one of the beds was delivered we realized a king is too big for us. We called the manager, Doug, to see what options were available. To *downgrade* to a queen we would have to pay $300-400. We asked if he could help us out in some way since we had just purchased $4000 from him. He said no. Their customer service is substandard and their beds are poor quality. I wake up every morning with back pain from this bed.If you look online at other mattress companies they offer 30, 60, 90 and even 1 year trial periods where you can return the mattress for free and receive a full refund. We will never buy from Original Mattress Factory again.Buyer beware. Buy from an online company where they offer superior customer service and quality.

Doug Larson, the manager of the Bloomington was wonderful! He was so knowledgeable, explained the differences between all of the mattresses, and made our buying experience simple and satisfying. The delivery process was also easy and on time. The delivery men were friendly, respectful and willing to help. We would definitely purchase again from The Original Mattress Factory

Well I was helped out by a manager named Doug he was very personable and trusting. Really nice gentleman. I would highly suggest this company they have fair prices and a great product. I purchased a mattress thats very firm with a box spring. I am very happy with my purchase they are also delivering my purchase. And the recycling my old mattress for $5. You cant go wrong with this company.

Third mattress store we visited that day, and were about to give up. So glad we stopped at the OMF!! Definitely go with the hinge option on a queen if you have a little bungalow. Delivery was fast and efficient. Sales team was friendly and no pressure.

Very simple shopping experience with their never discounted pricing and relatively small assortment of mattresses. Sales staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Much less confusing and frustrating than dealing with the national chains and all the online options. Weve bought three mattresses here and are very happy.

I would have given four or five stars but the delivery guys took the plastic off the mattress which I didnt want them to do they could have least ask me first I wanted the plaster to stay on there for protection

Doug is an awesome manager/sales person. Not my first purchase there but always patient, with clear explanations of construction, types ... Mattress stuff. On a more concrete note, needed new mattress/box spring for daughter returning home from college. Stopped in at 7:30 on wed, needed for friday. Helped me pick out great set (just a twin, euro top - nice, but def not thier priciest stuff). Anyhow, called Warehouse to confirm stock, and delivery. Delivered to store on friday. Awesome quality, price, and extremely helpful service for a low ticket set.
