They repaired virtually the whole front end of my truck and it looks perfect. The staff kept me updated daily with progress of the repair and the insurance process. I had a bumper sensor bust loose a few months later, which turned out to be from getting backed in to. As a courtesy they popped the sensor back in and confirmed it still worked without any extra charges. Would recommend their service to anyone.

Set up job a month in advance and someone entered dates and or times wrong. My car has been damaged for over 2 months and still waiting for communication. Not all of the troubles have been this company, some is working with insurance, but I feel communication and scheduling could have gone a long way in preventing waisted time and inconveniences.

I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. The staff and employees at this location are AWESOME. While they’re working on your vehicle they keep you updated for everything! LaMettry’s did a great job replacing my bumper and tail light cover after I backed into a cement pillar. Amanda provided timely updates on the status, got the estimate to my insurer promptly and got parts ordered. They got the work done 2 days early using OE parts, not aftermarket, and proving a lifetime warranty. And, a super nice touch, they essentially detailed the interior as well as washing the exterior. I am very happy and can enthusiastically recommend LaMettry’s for body work.

LaMettry’s went well above and beyond to please me, to provide a great service at a reasonable price, and to make me feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. I had my car hit in a parking lot and the other driver left with no note. My damage was just over my deductible, so I ended up paying for the repair without an insurance claim. For me, bringing my car to a body shop is like going to the dentist. I know I have to do it, but I’m not happy about and it is unnerving and uncomfortable for me. I know I will be without my car and have to pay money for something that has nothing to do with me. That being said, I went to LaMettry’s in Bloomington. I had been there before (many years earlier) and liked their level of service. I met with Amanda Schumacher. She evaluated the damage to my car and talked with me about what I wanted done. I explained I was paying out of pocket and wanted OEM parts. She figured worked out a plan that gave me a minimal cost for OEM parts. I said I was concerned about being without my car and likely needing a rental for the time I was in the shop. Amanda came up with a plan to cut the shop time down and got me a discount on a rental. Amanda called me to tell me the work was done, but said they wanted a couple of hours to clean it up before they returned it to me. She called back a few hours later and I got my car. The repairs were done to a level that I couldn’t see any difference from new. The level of cleaning they did on my car, both inside and out, was incredible. It looked like the day I bought it. I couldn’t be happier with the service, the cost, and the time away. Amanda told me that this is a family business and they value customer satisfaction above all. I love that attitude and it showed in their work. Thank you Amanda, and thank you LaMettry’s.

Professionalism was good. I recently went in for repair of my car. They have done it very well and it looks like pretty new car now. they have removed few scratches also which are on the car and which I didn’t opt for. Overall quality was very good but price is little higher which is what I feel.

I picked up my truck and their technician made my truck look flawless and thats not easy to do with black. They even washed and detailed the interior of my truck!

Brought car over for a quote recently. They took a look at the vehicle and to my amazement, fixed it on the spot and insisted on no charge as they were able to get the door working in short order. WOW that was not expected. I have used LaMettrys a few other times over the years and have found them to do high quality work and are an honest business. In the past, they worked directly with my insurance company and that was a smooth process.

If it was possible to not give a star that would be my option. The first complaint I have about this place is that they do not update you on anything that they do to your vehicle. I had to call to get any information about my car. I dropped it off at 8am for a simple job that shouldnt have taken more than an hour I didnt hear from them until 7 hours later. Before I got work done they gave me an estimate which they asked for payment before they even started working on my car. When I finally got an update 7 hours later they wanted to charge me more then we already agreed on, $700 dollars more than they originally quoted. Then they informed that they havent even started working on my car. Recap: I had an appointment set for 8am with this place, dropped my car off and 7 hours later they tell me they havent even started working on it and demand more money then the original price they quoted. Long story short I refused their service and asked for a refund. They refused to give me my entire refund saying that its for the service fee. They didnt even do the service I came in for. People please dont go here shop around for a better shop. This place is a waste of your time and money. I lost a couple hundred dollars over a service that they didnt even perform. Look elsewhere.

Vey nice people! Professional & attentive! I was 5 minutes late and the repair man was in the lobby waiting. Took me right away. Originally said 2+ hours. They replaced my rear drivers side window. It was done in about 45 minutes! Took me out to car to make sure I approved of work done. Paid and left! Excellent experience.

Had a windshield replaced in my Model 3. The quality of work was great and they billed insurance. Communication was fine. When I dropped the vehicle off I had 53% charge. When I picked it up I had 10%. How did they burn 43% of my battery while at the shop? No one knows. I ended up not being able to get home from this. Had they given me any kind of warning I could have charged much higher before going.

A car had scraped ours in a parking ramp. Amanda at the Bloomington office looked at it and thought it was mostly paint transfer. She used some solvent and elbow grease and got it all off. Nothing like peace of mind when you go to pick up you car to find for son reason they jab discovered the speakers on the drivers side of the car so you turn around take it back and they cant fix it. You decide to let them have it back for a day in a week or so to look at fixing it. When you get home and find a piece of the car in the back that they forgot to install, the front bumper is missing one of the mounting screws........wow I am not a happy customer especially after the car is returned for the day and when went to pick it up they had forgotten to install the missing piece of bumper and screw the number plate on properly.
