The hinges on my trunk glass door rusted out and I had to rachet it to my car so it wouldnt get worse. I live in Indy and called at least 4 body shops before calling Minton. They were the first to say they would be willing to look at my car. Drove an hour to see them and they ordered the parts right away. Got it fixed within a week even though they are booked until November. I am so grateful for their service and hospitality. I would recommend them any day!

My windshield was damaged while at work and I was required to get three quotes and work would pay the lowest. The first two were easy enough but the next two places didnt do complete windshield replat like I needed.Minton had the capability but recommended another place for various reasons. They were nice enough to still write me my third quote. If I ever need body work Ill make sure to stop by for a quote!

A friend suggested I go to Mintons Body Shop after someone scratched my car in a parking lot. When I got there, the staff was super friendly and decided they could buff out the scratch for free. I ran over a concrete curb, and punctured my tire. The incident also drove the front left fender back into the driver side door. The damage was minor, but the fender rubbed significantly against the door when opening. I took the car to Mintons and they brought a technician to the parking lot and he was able to repair the fender by reworking and repositioning it with a tool. No damage is detectable, and both the fender and door look and operate as they did before the accident. I tried to pay for the repair, but the folks at Mintons refused to take any money or compensation for their work. Came in with collision damages to the front of my car, they were helpful in explaining the damages done (to me, someone who knows nothing about cars) and in itemizing everything and giving us a fair price. My experience with Minton is several years old, but based on more recent reviews the quality of service has not gone down at all. A while back, I backed into my wifes car and put a pretty good size hole in the front bumper. I took it to Minton, they gave a reasonable estimate, and did the job in the agreed upon time frame for the agreed upon price. After the work had been completed, whoever does the paint decided that the color match wasnt perfect. To be honest the car could have been considered a beater by this point anyway, and had they not pointed it out I am confident that no one other than a professional painter would notice the very slight mismatch. Long story short, they re-matched the paint and repainted the bumper again (no additional charge) to get it up to their standards. 10/10 would recommend

After reading all of the positive reviews, I decided to stop by for an opinion for some minor paint correction on one of my doors. Minton was upfront and honest about the work necessary for the paint to reach perfection, which we decided wasnt necessary for the time being. But, just to make me happy, they did some polishing and correcting on the door for free. They managed to remove almost all of the blemishes and didnt charge me anything for it. Because they went the extra mile, Ill be taking all my vehicles to Minton in the future.

Our work trucks get pretty beat up on the construction jobs and I took one in last week for a tail-gate repair. They had quoted me $1700 for a new tailgate which I was ok to pay. However, when we went to pick it up, they only charged $700, as they were able to repair the old one more easily than they had thought and didnt need to install the new one. Ive had plenty of vehicle work done over the years and this is maybe the first time that I was charged less than half of what I was actually quoted because the mechanics found a simpler and more cost effective fix. Im super impressed with the integrity of the folks on the team here at Minton. Ill definitely be bringing my vehicles back here in the future.

Ok, look, Minton Body Shop is THE place to take your car in Bloomington, Indiana. I had a damaged bumper and was told by friends to take my car to Minton after the dealer gave me an outrageous quote. So Minton did it for so much less! They were professional and kind: Never trying to sell me what I didnt need. They also easily worked with my insurance without me having to get involved. Time savber. They finished the work 4 days sooner than I thought they would AND CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! They wiped down my dashboard. Great service, good people, easy to work with, just go! I visited Minton to get an estimate to repair damage on my car after a hit and run. Their building was clean and professional and the employee I spoke with was very helpful. They didnt have to, but they elected to buff out some of the paint transfer on my car which made it look 90% better in just a few minutes. I ended up doing the repair myself but I am confident in the ability and customer service provided by Minton. If I need a body shop, they are on my short list.

I had a windshield replaced and some deep body paint damage repaired. Nate was super helpful and informative through the entire process with myself and the insurance company. You can be assured these guys are honest and reliable! I took my 2018 Nissan Rogue to them because my fuel door wouldnt close. Within five minutes, my issue was resolved! Two shots of W-D 40, and I was good to go. The charge? $0 Absolutely nothing! I insisted on paying for at least a quarter of an hour labor, but they refused my offer.

Best Body Shop In Town - Ive known Max for a few years now, and he & his team always do great work and are down to earth. Never good to need body shop work, but when it happens, Minton is my only thought. Even detailed the inside of the car when only outside repair work.

Our Pontiac Vibe was rear-ended at a traffic light in October. Max gave us a reasonable estimate for a rear hatch replacement and bumper repair. The repair took a little longer than expected since a new hatch had to be ordered to replace a used one (found earlier) that was not repairable. Picked up the car and couldnt have been more pleased......the car looked like new and its a 2003. These guys are good!!

Nate and the team at Minton did a great job with our 2006 Fusion. We had the challenge of coordinating this remotely for our son attending IU. The cost was competitive, but their customer service is really what distinguishes them. Never pressured. Very communicative and responsive. The shop works with USAA frequently, so the insurance process was seamless. My vehicle was done 2 days earlier than my estimate, and was only held up due to waiting for a pinstripe that had to be ordered directly from the manufacturer. Excellent service overall and will definitely recommend to others.

Where to start? First and foremost, their repair was impeccable. What I really want to talk about is their customer service. I went around 8 at night to drop off my car, there was someone there with a car on his tow truck. I was filling out the envelope to drop my keys off when he came over. He didnt have to stop what he was doing, but he did and when he came over he took my keys, assured me that someone would be in touch the next morning, and even told me he would pull my crashed car into the bay to make sure it was safe. Also, when I got into my car after it had been restored, they had practically detailed it. It looked like it did when I drove it off the dealer lot. I accidentally melted a cryon into the front seat and when I picked it up, it was gone. Also, I shoved what was left of my front end into the backseat, when I picked it up, it was gone. They cleaned my car and took away my unwanted, unusable parts. This company not only does excellent work, they care about customer service. I was very impressed. I will forward all of the body work I can to this shop!

Nate was kind and on the ball. I was stuck waiting for my rental car and he made a point to get me a soda and make me feel welcome. In the beginning he had told me I may want to follow up on my rental car just to make sure it was running on time- and if they were running late or had lost my reservation, which had happened in the in past evidently, they would give me a ride. We have had done work done here in the past and have been happy every time. I HIGHLY recommend them!

What a good place to deal with, my car was perfect and was cleaned up inside and out. Gordan is the man in the office that helped me call my insurance company to get my insurance claim going. Gordan made it so easy. I hope I never need their service again but if I do I know where I will be going. One thing I would like to share with the public is when I talked to my insurance company they tried to get me to go to a shop that I have never heard of and none of my family or friends heard of. Gordan told me that as the owner of the car I can get my car fixed anywhere that I choose and the insurance company has no say about it. I think if I went where they wanted me to go that shop would be working for the insurance Company and not have my best interest at heart. ( Just my opinion ) Mintons said they will warranty my car as long as I own it. So why go where my insurance company would be getting a good deal? Thank you Gordan

Today I went to minton body shop to talk to them about this nasty black rubber scrape down the side of my Jeep. Nate the manager came out to my Jeep and we decided after talking about the damage that he would just come out with a tool and buff out the spot. I was in Bloomington for a few days, and I needed the molding at the bottom of 1 door repaired and refinished. I stopped at 2 other autobody shops in town. They said they did not have the time, but both of these places recommended Mintons. When I arrived there, I was sure they were way too busy to help to me, as I only had 2 days; however they went out of their way to help me keep my car. They removed the damaged part and repaired and refinished it and rehung it like new in 2 days!! I was VERY impressed with customer service; they are a top notch business! Nate and his crew went above and beyond to make sure that both my car and I were taken care of. I was kept in the loop throughout the whole process and am very pleased with the both the quality and price of work.

I wrecked my van august 10th.We sent it to Mintons Body shop because the tow truck driver said they were great.We took his word for it because Mintons said they could start it right away. We made an insurance claim with our insurance. Over the next 34 days the insurance requested parts that were bad, and/or didnt exist for the shop to place on my van.Mintons -Nate, Max - said no they wouldnt put us in a dangerous vehicle. Throughout the time the insurance told me it was Mintons fault it took so long. Mintons was swearing it was the insurance fault . The insurance even said they knew it was but would not take responsibility! My insurance wouldnt extend the rental car coverage and our rental fee ended up in the several hundreds ! They also charged me extra for the tire because they had to do a new tire and my old one was bad before the wreck so because it wasnt as good they had to charge me more than my deductible. (Fine print insurance documents) When we were told the van would be done, the wheel had not come in and had to be ordered 3! 3! Different times and then overnighted. Because of My insurance company! At which point they thought it was done only to find a motor in the windshield wiper reservoir (hope im saying it right!) was bad so they overnighted another part. Mintons called today and its done! September 12th!What I want to say is Mintons went ABOVE AND BEYOND! They paid the rental car fees in total! They paid the extra tire charge as well! And when pep boys put the wheel on they dinged it so Mintons is making them replace it tomorrow! So in the end our fees wouldve been almost $900.00! However due to MINTONS BODY SHOP making sure they treat their customers beyond amazing we only paid our deductible!!!Mintons Body Shop Will have our business FOREVER! We are dropping The insurance !We are forever thankful to Mintons Body Shop and all the help and work theyve done For us! Im forever thankful for a safe vehicle and my beloved van back! And a wonderful trustworthy body shop! It was the first heavy rain in a month, plus my tires were 5 years old. I slid off the road and over a raised sidewalk and busted a tire. I took it to Minton and they got my tire replaced for me and the next day they replaced the other three tires for me and I havent slid off the road since. Thanks Max!
