I was was working for Uber when another vehicle pulled out in front of me causing a collision. I became a claimant through State Farm’s insurance for the liability of the damages caused to my vehicle by the other party. State Farm referred me to Auto body Specialists LLC of Bloomington Indiana for the repairs on my vehicle in pictures shown. State assured me that they would get it fixed. Days go by and the Auto body specialists of Bloomington LLC write out an enormous estimate over the value that State Farm is willing to cover so they completely chose to just not repair my vehicle. Leaving me with a damaged vehicle that I was not allowed to use for work until the repairs were made. I’ve been not able to work for about a week at this point and now Auto body specialists were refusing to fix my vehicle basically because it wasn’t worth it to them. I even asked them as a customer to just find a matching colored used hood and put it on and call it hood. Their response to me was “we’re not going to dig through a salvage yard just to make $50 bucks” A guy named Ryan said that to me. Even though State Farm should had covered it. So I am caused to take the liability into my own hands and do the repairs myself. So I go just around the corner on the same day this incident happened ( and find a matching colored hood for my vehicle at a salvage yard less than a mile away and had it put on in less than two hours from the time Ryan stated “we’re not going to dig through a salvage yard to fix my vehicle and make only $50 bucks”. I am very displeased with Auto body Specialists of Bloomington LLC for not even caring to help or put forth any effort to repair my vehicle. They are greedy crooks that over charge insurance companies to make as much as they can. I worked in auto body myself for years. This place is very crooked and shady. I had to take time myself to fix my vehicle when I was the claimant covered on the State Farm policy. I do not recommend taking your vehicle to Auto body Specialists of Bloomington LLC. State Farm referred me to them in the first place. It only cost me $50 + $3.50 debit card fee for the matching colored hood just as I quoted them They are very unprofessional and are Liars!!!.

He did a great job fixing my car and got it done quicker than expected. Ryan was very good and helpful. Whats a pleasure to do business with. And even though I hope never to have to see him again if I do Im sure he will take great care of me and my car. Lol

My daughter attends IU and was recently involved in an accident. Fortunately, her vehicle was towed here for repairs because she was on her own in Bloomington and her family was 800 miles away. The final price was below the original quote and they did more work to the vehicle than the original quote called for. After looking for suggestions in the Bloomington Auto Club, I was sent here by a customer that claimed to have great work done to his M3 and GTR. Ryan and the rest of the Auto Body Specialist team were a pleasure to do business with; after a minor accident in my Volvo, ABS had me back in the like-new-looking car within about a week. I researched every body shop in town and got estimates from the top contenders. The estimate process here was quick, professional, and drama-free. Another place quoted a lower repair price but didnt seem to have their act together as much as Auto Body Specialists, so I went with ABS. Im glad I did because the repair was just like the estimate--quick, professional, and drama-free. The next time I need a repair, Ill go back to ABS. Bonus: The convenient location meant I could walk to work on campus after dropping off my car.

Ryan and his staff saved the day for us!!A bolt from a parking spot bumper/curb was not screwed all the way down, and it extended about 2-3” above the top of the curb. We did not notice that while pulling into the parking spot, but we heard the scraping noise as we pulled up close to the curb. Upon backing up, the extended bolt caught the underside plastic shield and pulled it and the front bumper away from the vehicle until we came to a stop. I was able to snap the major pieces back into place to drive away. There was no visible damage to the paint or exterior, but I knew some of the underside was damaged because some plastic connectors had pulled free and fallen to the ground, and the plastic shield hung down 2-3” lower than usual. I could also see where the connectors had torn through the plastic holes that connected the plastic shield to the frame.I began by taking the vehicle to the dealership’s collision center to get an estimate for repair. I was shocked when they quoted the job to be $875! This would include labor, complete replacement of the underside plastic shield, and even 4.5 hours of additional labor to blend the paint. There was no external damage to the paint, and I knew that while the job would return the van to like-new condition, it was way above and beyond the work necessary, as well as way beyond what I could spend.My wife saw good Facebook reviews and excellent ratings for Auto Body Specialists of Bloomington, so I went there for an estimate with hopes they could do the job for even a couple hundred dollars less. I was shocked when Ryan told me that they could complete the job for about $125 because he felt that the plastic shield was not damaged beyond repair, and all of the hardware could be replaced and reconnected. Not only that, but I was able to leave the vehicle there that very day for completion by the following day.The repair was completed the next day for $125, and everything on the exterior and underside looks exactly the way it did before the damage.Thank you, Ryan, and Auto Body Specialists of Bloomington, for your professionalism, honesty, and care in repairing our vehicle! What you did for us was such a huge relief because of the substantially lower price, and because I was fairly confident that the extensive repair and replacement that the dealership wanted to do was probably much more than necessary. While I hope I won’t need too many auto body repairs in the future, you have a new loyal customer, and I will highly recommend you to anybody in need of auto body work in the future.

I couldnt have had a better experience with this Auto shop! Initially I chose it based on the glowing reviews online - it seemed like everyone loved this place. I can definitely say they werent wrong!I called in and talked with Joe a few times and quickly got scheduled in after my husbands passenger side door was hit. Everything was really easy. When my car was in for repairs, they called and let us know they found something else and contacted our insurance company about it. We picked our car up today and it was as good as new! They cleaned it so well inside and out and everyone was so friendly. They did an amazing job all around. I would definitely take my car back to them anytime!

My car mirror was smashed the other day and needed to be replaced quickly as I was driving back home in a few daysI took my car in and was quoted an extremely reasonable price to have the mirror fixed.Additionally, the turn around between ordering the part and the labor involved was extremely quick.The guys who work here operate a fantastic business. Very happy with the work I had done on my Hummer H2. Took it in for 2 small rust spots one on each rear quarter panel and to have rear bumper painted. When they were removing covers from rear bumper, it was discovered that the bumper was almost rusted out. They promptly called to inform me about the rust and that they had found a new GM rear bumper!! Installed, painted for a great price. I receive a lot of compliments on my H2. They did exceptional work! Anyone that needs body work or paint done I will tell them to go to Auto Body Specialist of Bloomington.

They provided a much better price than other estimates and the service was fantastic. The employees were very helpful and friendly and most importantly did a great job. They fixed the dent in the car and touched up the paint job to match perfectly with the rest of the car and it looks great! The service and people here are outstanding. I had a minor dent in in my Terrain (which I admittedly obsess about) and they fixed it beautifully. I was even given a guarantee that I would not even know it was there when they were done or I wouldnt have to pay for the service. They went above an beyond by buffing out a couple of minor scratches that Ziebart said they had fixed about a month prior. The service was done in a timely manner and the staff were polite and respectful and the quoted price was exactly what I ended up paying. As a woman, it is good to know that there is a company that is trustworthy and one which I will feel comfortable about recommending to others.

Best Body shop in Bloomington! Hit my car with a wall. It was damaged badly. It only them a week to finish the work and the work was excellent! These guys are super nice as well. Auto Body Specialist of Bloomington recently replaced the wheel well cover on my Prius and the service was great. Fast and affordable. The thing I loved the most is that they did not press me to do more than necessary. They told me my options and let me choose. I would definitely recommend them for body work!

This company is hands-down the best auto body shop in Bloomington. All the other body shops in town will overcharge you. Auto Body Specialist of Bloomington will do the repair fastest and cheapest.I got quotes for my 2001 Buick Centurys cracked rear bumper all around town, and these guys quoted me the lowest cost. I came back two months later when I had time to get it fixed (student life, yeah?). The repair was done in less than 2 days and cost $100 less than the original quote. They were even able to salvage the chrome BUICK letters from the back of the old bumper and install them on the new one to avoid ordering an entirely new set of lettering (saved ~$70).As a business student in 2016, I believe all markets are heading toward customer centricity. This team nails it. Thanks, guys. Ill be back if I need any more work.

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER 2ND REPAIR!!I did my original review several months ago when our son had an accident, see below. Im now officially a repeat customer and updating my review because I had to go back to Auto Body Specialists. I closed the garage door and my car wasnt in far enough... OUCH, I had 2 deep scratches on the back bumper, and the car is black... feel my pain? Ryan looked at it and gave me 2 options, repaint the whole bumper which would be $$$$ or he said they could work with it to make it look better, which would be $. I chose the cheaper option knowing it wouldnt be perfect but would definitely look better. They did a GREAT job, you can barely see what were 2 deep scratches. It looks SOOOO much better! AND they washed the entire car - BONUS!! Love these guys, theyre AMAZING and they totally get what great customer service means!!!ORIGINAL REVIEW - Auto Body Specialists is AWESOME!!! So many businesses have forgotten what its like to provide good customer service... but not these guys!!! Joe and Ryan were great, I called on a Friday, they towed the car to the shop and called me with an estimate THAT DAY! Same day service - amazing!! Joe provided an estimate of when the car would be done, it was ready 3 days early. He even called after the insurance adjuster looked at the car so we knew they started working on it. The shop is open until 5:30, which makes life easier for those of us who work 9 - 5. We still cant believe how great the car looks, its as good as new! Auto Body Specialists made getting our car fixed a smooth and painless process and they do quality work. I HIGHLY recommend them!!

The first time I took my car there was on the recommendation of the tow truck driver who responded to our auto accident. They were so professional, handled the whole process with care, and the best part was the impeccable job they did on repairing my vehicle. These guys did a great job working with my insurance company, and especially the other parties insurance company. When it was discovered after the initial work was done, but there was also a broken ball joint, they got the other guys insurance to pay. They went above and beyond, were Very cool and did top notch work. Car looks brand new. 10/10

Someone did a hit and run on my truck had it fixed at Auto Body Specialist and you cant tell it was ever hit . They are good at what they do I couldnt even tell on the inside of the panel that it was repaired. Very friendly and professional staff I highly recommend if you need paint and or body repair go see them.

I had a headlight problem on an old vehicle that needed a part to be ordered for. The part came extremely fast, as well as the professional service. The guys were very helpful, even providing a shuttle service back to town.

I hit a deer on my way to work. I have owned my 2007 Mustang GT since it was new and have grown extremely fond of it. I have taken very good care of it over the years so I was a bit upset to see it damaged. I chose this body shop after careful review of my options in the Bloomington area. They took the time to carefully examine the damage and pointed out the small leak on the radiator that could have made a bad situation worse. So I left my car and was totally delighted to find, after the repair, it looked better than it did before the accident. Great work by great people.

Several weeks ago, I was rear ended at a stop light resulting in my back door having damage and needing to get replaced. When I went through the insurance companies, they told me to go to another autobody shop in town that gave an very high estimate that went over the value of the car and I was told I would have to total the car even though it was drivable.I decided to get another opinion and took the car to Auto Body Specialists - and Im so glad I did. They were able to fix my car for a reasonable price, had fantastic customer service, and were incredibly quick in their work! I had a fantastic experience with this company. What a great company! If your needing work done on your vehicle check out Auto Body Specialist of Bloomington. My husband bought a car from Andy Mohr Honda and they had promised to fix the minor things but had not once the deal had been signed by the finance company, a few months later he wrecks the front end. Auto Body Specialist fixed us right up and also the damage to the back end that the dealer never took the time to service. Less then five minutes I was in and out with a new break light now it doesnt have a giant hole in it for water and bugs to get into like we had originally bought it. Stupid us for not being more aggressive with Andy Mohr, but luckily we have the great guys of ABSB to help us out so our car can last us!
