I’m about to add cold stone to the list of places never to go again. This was my ice cream tonight barely any ice cream and what’s there was melted by the time they handed it to my husband. There is more Reese’s than ice cream. Most of the time it’s good but there have been a few times of not so great customer service. Like tonight with a line of people and one employee kept pulling out their phone every couple mins to change music or whatever. Another time we were there and there were 2 employees one went to the back a couple customers before us and stayed back there the whole time we were in line. She was asked to come help but never did at least while we were there. I swear it’s everywhere maybe it’s just this generation that just doesn’t think they have to be good at their jobs I don’t know.

As Im writing this review, I have been in line for about 20 minutes, and gotten no where. The workers do not seem to care about their job one bit. And even among a global pandemic, they choose to not wear a mask while preparing my food. And much less to say, the actual ice cream might as well have been soup, because it just sat there for a long time. There is no excuse for this mess, other than laziness and ignorance. I hope this establishment gets its act together, because of these atrocious prices. 0/5 would not recommend.

I ordered coffee lovers ice cream no almonds and a peanut butter dough delight. I got to peanut butter ice creams with nothing in them and one with almonds on top. I’m very upset about this and the store won’t even answer the phone

Very rude employees. The one had her boyfriend standing by the counter the whole time and treated my family like we were wasting her time. Very unprofessional I will not be bringing my family back here anymore. This was a horrible experience. Hire employees who are happy and want to work not miserable like this lady.

I had the cotton candy ice cream and it tasted like nothing. Idk if they didnt stir it or what because there was little like... Gell things in the ice cream, maybe flavoring?

Ice cream was not all that good. Most of it was melted and the workers seemed very unmotivated and impatient. Counters were pretty messy and off-putting. When we walked in the employees were on their phones rather than cleaning when the place appeared empty.

This place is absolutely horrendous!!! The bathrooms look like theyre NEVER cleaned. The floors are sticky, each step you taking echoing throughout the establishment. The young man named Caleb is absolutely disrespectful, very condescending to customers and overall just cold. He obviously choose the perfect place to work considering this is a cold stone. He fits the name. I will not be going back.

The two Like-Its that we purchased were like soup. The young man that served my brother-in-law scraped the foam off the top, rather than the more fresh ice cream underneath. He used the last corner portion of coffee ice cream for my sister and then proceeded to bring out a fresh new tub. The copious amount of brownies he put in our cups left us with a bowl full of wet and soggy brownies mixed with soupy ice cream. When we naturally couldnt finish our ice cream, we tried to get half our money back but he said we made the choice knowing it was melted and there was nothing he could do. We love Coldstone, but we will not be attending this location again mainly because of the Customer Service. Extremely disappointing.

9-26-20 purchased a love it size to share with my husband. Paid just under $7 for a cup of ice cream 3/4 full. For that price the cup should be full. Ice cream is great and the music was good. Please train your employees the reason of wearing gloves. It is not to keep their hands clean but to keep our food clean. Watched every customer pay with cash and then the employee used those same dirty gloves to pick brownies out of the bin and put into the ice cream. My employee had just come on shift and we got clean gloves.

Delicious ice cream! It would have been nice if the girl who took our first two orders would have suggested the kid size (since we didnt know that was an option), but two of our kids enjoyed getting Like It sizes. The guy who took our next orders suggested the kid size, which we were grateful for, since that was much more appropriate for our littlest kiddo.Unfortunately, the two employees didnt seem to be under orders to refuse service to those not wearing masks (MT is under orders from the governor to do so, regardless of personal beliefs concerning the virus). And if the establishment is understaffed (which might have been evidenced by the rather filthy lobby floor and restroom), I hope theyll schedule additional help for their evening shifts to take care of those things so that guests feel as comfortable as possible.

Runny ice cream and only one person, but still tasted great!

SUPER great ice cream, everything is fresh and tastes delicious. But what really stands out to me is the service. The environment was super relaxed and comfortable, and all three people working there were super friendly, professional, competent, and fun. I could tell they enjoyed doing their job and I appreciate seeing this so much because its so rare. I doubt they need extra business, but if youre in town and like ice cream, you should definitely check this place out!

While coming in to receive a DoorDash order, I noted that none of the employees are wearing masks and one gentleman wasnt wearing gloves when handling ice cream and toppings on the cold stone. Cant say much about the wait time as they were preoccupied with other in-store customers, but...

Ice cream here is very creamy. I personally like the sweet cream with M&Ms or strawberries or raspberries... But it is also fun to experiment, they have lots of great ice cream. Good place to stop at on cheat day :)

Literally severing cream. Nothing cold here

Took my family in on Saturday afternoon. There were 6 of us. The place was very warm, like the a/c wasnt working. The music was loud to the point of obnoxious. The ice cream tasted good, but was very melty and drippy. The portions were inconsistent. The floors were VERY sticky, like the kind of sticky that makes gross noises when you walk on it. Overall, not a good experience. I have loved Cold Stone in other cities, but this one left a lot to be desired.

Ordered through Doordash. Order took almost an hour to be completed and was missing items when received. Made several attempts to call the store to try and get the rest of my order. No response. Had to leave a message.Unfortunately this isn’t the first time an order takes almost an hour. Super disappointing given the price point of the items.

We’ve tried to go to this location multiple times and it always ends up being a flop. Constantly understaffed and always out of popular flavors. What kind of Cold Stone doesn’t have cake batter or sweet cream, the two flavors they are most known for?! Such a bummer! If you’re really craving something in particular, I’d call prior to making the drive.

Very good ice cream. The staff is always helpful. I get a raspberry smoothie which is a special order as they no longer have a smoothie with only raspberry. They never complain and just ask if it tastes good. I also like the sweat cream ice cream with a brownie on the bottom of the cup not blended. They are always nice and the ice cream is excellent!

Ordered a milkshake and the flavor was good but it was very runny. Milkshakes should be thick and they should be served in styrofoam cups to help keep them cold longer! Just my opinion!😁 The employees however very friendly.

I purchased a birthday cake for my little guy and was confronted with the worst customer service experience Ive ever had in Billings, MT! The manager was hostile, rude and condascending. Its apparent that Cold Stone doesnt care about customer service at this location. If I were you, I would take my money elsewhere like I will next time.EDIT** I contacted the franchise and the owner reached out to me personally to figure out how he could improve his storefronts and offered to send me a gift card for my troubles. I’ll be frequenting Cold Stone with that kind of customer service. 5/5 stars for the owner!

My wife and kids and I visited this Coldstone and it was literally the worst ice cream experience of my life. 3 out of 6 of us threw our ice cream in the trash. The 1 employee appeared to have the cooler turned off so all of the ice cream had melted into colorful goop. We thought maybe the cold slab would refreeze it, but that appeared to be off too as ice cream melted into pools before the employee tried scooping it into our cups. What a disappointment.

Last time we went is the last, cotton candy *ice cream* (i have loosly termed it) was stringy, was nothinh like ice cream at all, it had curdled with the whip they put in, and was disgusting, did not taste like cotton candy at all, the girls had 0 clue as to what they were doing, I Will not be going back, am disgusted by the service and ice cream, that is twice in a row now.

I just wanted the owner to know what an excellent employee Alex is. I came in there while visiting family and she was exceptionally polite, and this is a rare gem in our youth today.

I love coldstone. Its one of my favorite places. My husband and I went the other day and there were only two young men working, and working their butts off! There was a line out to the door. Im very impressed with their promptness and kindness. They were able to keep a level head. If anything these two young men deserve a raise!! Next time I think there should be at least three people on line working though. Itd get people through line quicker and happier customers. Shout out to the young men! Eager to come back for some amazing ice cream!!!

I had a similar experience as a previous customer. The person who was present at the counter when I went to inquire about a cake, was very rude. She was of no help whatsoever. I had several questions which she answered but in a very discourteous way. I commented about her attitude and asked to speak to a manager, and she informed me that she was the manager. I then asked for the name of the owner, and she said, you dont need to talk to the owner. I regret placing the order now. It was for a custom cake. I think the owner, and the Stone Cold Franchise should know that this manager is a sad example of good customer service. June 26 around 3:30 pm. I will not be returning to do business.

I love cold stone. Ive always had great experiences at them. Except today. The worker complained the entire time. When other customers were walking toward the door the worker said No! I hope they dont come in. Then the worker said they were closed when the customers walked in. The worker continued to complain about how long they had been there and how many days in a row. I felt uncomfortable and I didnt want to finish my order. The ice cream wasnt mixed well and there was only a half of a reese in it. If i ever go back Ill have to watch the process to get better portions

The ice cream is Always fabulous! But cmon get some staff one person is Not enough.Many flavots of ice cream was out and we waited 30 minutes just to get served. This is not the first time going there and only one person serving!!!

I love coldstone creamery. Great Atmosphere and really good ice cream. My only complaint is that I cant get anything for less than $4.50, but that is the price for good ice cream.

Being the only Cold Stone in town, its nice to have an alternative ice cream place. Great service and great variety.

We went 5-11-19 for an early mothers day treat, both my parents are diabetic so they had the skinny vanilla with pecans,beca becuase thats the only option. it wasnt evenly mixed so mum only got 3 pieces of nuts, they were unevenly portioned & she got barely a third of of what the other cup had & they both tasted freezer burned & were very unsatisfactory!I ordered the lemon Meyers signature special, the employee didnt even know what it was or how to make it, even though it was displayed on the window; it was supposed to have lemon dairy free ice cream, blonde Oreos, strawberrys & whipped topping, & they forgot to add strawberrys even after repeatedly telling them what all was in there new signature!Sadly we had somewhere to be & had to take them on the road so there was no way to go back & deal with ALL the issues we had with every order.Ive only ever had cold stone like 4 times in my life & for the price Im not compelled to come back...

Great product but horrible customer service! And its not the ONLY girl that is working fault, its whoever owns this place fault.I waited 20 minutes for a to go shake! 20 minutes!!! And I paid $25....to wait 20 minutes!!! For a SHAKE!!! Unacceptable!

The ice cream was superb and getting there wasnt too bad either very easy to find I highly recommend going here and having a brain freeze yourself some of the best ice cream Ive tasted and eons being a time traveler you know you always have to have a brain freeze here and there and by far 2018 was the best

Luckily there is a dentist close by, the waffle cone would have worked as my driveway. I would call it a waffle stone. The only thing cold in this establishment is the attitude of the two young kids behind the counter. The ice cream is runny, pre milkshake. The ingredients just needs mixed in by hand because the ice cream consistency is already comparible to soup, I would say tomato. The one in Casper WY is way better. You have been warned!!!

I showed up at 8:20pm, 40 minutes before closing! All the ice cream was melted on top like the cooler was opened for a long period of time. The stone was warm when the melted ice cream was put on so it melted even more. Then when the topping were added the girl behind the counter barely chopped up anything, she just rolled the melted ice cream and shoved it in a container dripping with melted ice cream. Not happy! Girls looked like they had most everything shut down to close and they still had almost an hour left!!

I was worried about going due to the recent bad reviews BUT, this place was great! The service was fast and friendly and the ice cream was of course DELICIOUS!! It was great!

The ice cream was good. The service left a lot to be desired. A young lady named Heather [who claimed to be the manager] when I asked to speak to the manager, was very snotty when she served me. I asked her how much for a waffle cone she told me $5.49 and when she rang it it was $6 something. When I started that that isnt what she told me. She said in asnotty tone that that is what it was and it is listed right on the board. #1. You dont tell a customer one price and charge another #2. If there is a misunderstanding you dontuse a shotty attitude to put the customer in their place because you might not like the free advertising you get. I probably wont return to any cold stone creamery in the country. There are too many competitors whose employees are not spotty to the customers. Heathers attitude will lose more customers if she isnt properly trained on how to treat a misunderstanding. This happened around 1:30 PM may 31 2018.

Fantastic ice cream, great blends/recipes, employees that do the job well but arent very personable. When you tip them, tell them not to sing; its corporate policy for them to sing with every tip and you can tell they HATE IT.

I was trying to figure out how they were making profits on their lower prices for their signatures.... they skimp on the mix ins. I dont mind paying an extra 50-60 cents for the full amount of mix ins a Gotta Have It should have. One oreo a couple almonds a bit of fudge and a spoonfull of peanut butter made the Mud Pie Mojo more like a coffee peanut butter ice cream... you go to Cold Stone for the mixins, and I expect that when Im paying $6 for ice cream.
